Sizzling restaurant is a hidden gem in the village area of Weybridge! The Service from all the staff is just so attentive you feel like you are at home! Since the redecoration was done inside the restaurant, the atmosphere and ambience really makes it a really enjoyable dining experience paired with the attentive service. The chef also creates really tasty, full of flavour and authentic food - the quality is next to none! The sizzling Railway Tava dish is a favourite amongst a great wide choices available on the menu

The food is great here. We order both takeaways and eat out on the rarest of date nights when the kids are away. The atmosphere is quintessentially curry house but doesn't feel over the top, nice decor and a happy vibe. The sizzling name is a happy change from its predecessor the golden curry and its been lifted firmly into the 21st century with the uplift. See you again soon 😀

(The feedback said it was fake review - Jan 9th total £33.13 via Uber Eats. I have the receipt. Instead of claiming fake, how about checking?) Got it via delivery app. The only thing sizzling was the prices. In no way was the food tasty, all sweet! Missing any form of spices. Ordered biryani, platter and chicken chaat puri. None of which were what they were supposed to be. Disappointing as it was expensive.

Two of the tiniest tandoori lamb chops I've ever had for the princely sum of 9 quid. No onions. Nothing!! Curry was far too sweet even though it had mango in it which I've had elsewhere and never been that sweet. The only reasonable item was the chicken chat puri. Won't ever be ordering from here again

Absolutely amazing food. Loved it

Been here four times in the last 12 months and it usually does the job. They are a good bunch and their service is attentive, but please can we not return to the 1970s attitude of just some cubes of meat in different sauces will do for the locals. I ordered a lamb jalfrezi and it wasn’t good at all it was sauce and chilli and 5 cubes of lamb. Just sauce and a load of chilli chucked in the sauce - No tomatoes, no peppers just loads of green chilli “chucked” in it. Sorry mate you’re gonna have to do better than meat in sauce we’ve all been there with the meat in sauce and chilli chucked in it. Please let’s not go back to 1970s style Anglo curry rubbish.

Great food,great restaurant and great atmosphere

One of the worst Indian takeaways we have had. We ordered on a Sunday so maybe a different staff than usual.. the one dish that was good was the Railway Thava. But the onion bhajis and samosas were cold and dry, the chicken tikka masala was chicken in a grainy coconut sauce (with orange food colouring?), the veg tikka masala was just a mass of assorted veg (and masses of sweetcorn!!??) with very little sauce and the mint sauce was watery, white liquid. Awful.

Visited recently for an evening meal whilst staying in the area and found this a fine Indian restaurant were the food was good and the menu extensive. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. If we are staying in the area we will make this our first port of call for a meal.

Another most enjoyable meal and evening with friends. Seating as always is cramped but we received excellent, prompt and friendly service. A thoroughly convivial evening. Highly recommended.

My friend has actually recommended this place as I asked her for any decent Indian restaurants in the area. Very big disappointment, we ordered five dishes to understand that they all taste the same…. No seasoning no spice no salt no love…. Don’t call yourself an Indian restaurant with food like this. Sorry but it’s bad

Went quite early for dinner, service was really quick because it was early and food was excellent. Good choice of different starters and mains would definitely go again.

Excellent evening. Good food and good service. Reasonably priced. Seating is all a bit cramped but otherwise highly recommended.

Been here a few times with friends and family and everytime the food is excellent, spiced but not necessarily hot. Staff are all friendly and very helpful. Being a little out of Weybridge makes it a slightly less busy than some restaurants, but on a Saturday night that is a bonus. My new go-to Indian.

1 star food hygiene rating according to the food standards agency inspected in November 2023 this is is lowest rating , yuk puts me right off coming here. Il try somewhere else.. Update 16th May - just seen they have been reinspected on 18th Jan and received a 4!! Wow that is much better , it’s how it should be first time really still puts me off though that they had the lowest hygiene rating you can get for months and months.

Four of us had an excellent meal on a Sunday night. Freinds commented they thought it was a good Indian with some great flovours. As ever freindly staff. Felt the food has improved with is nice to see. Great to have a good local Indian.

Update April 2024: DISGRACEFUL. They treat their customers with CONTEMPT. Reducing overall rating to the lowest possible, read on for details. Last night I placed an order for two lamb curries and meat samosa. A few minutes later the restaurant called me to say they ran out of lamb and asked whether I'd be OK to receive chicken instead. I reluctantly agreed, it was 9pm. This wouldn't really matter that much had they refunded me the difference in price between two dishes. They did not. They didn't even offer a complimentary "something" as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. They sold their integrity for a couple of quid and taken me for a fool. In their response to my original review a few months back, they asked me to give them another chance. NO WAY! NEVER AGAIN! Sizzling, was it worth it? --- INITIAL REVIEW --- Consistency is one of the most important attributes of any restaurant and this is where these guys FAIL miserably. The first time I ordered online, the second time I dined in the restaurant and after that I ordered online again. Suffice to say, next time I'll go somewhere else. The quality and quantity varies wildly and that's just not expected, nor is it acceptable, from any serious restaurant. Disappointing.

I have been coming to this restaurant literally my entire life. The service and food is great and has got even better since the recent change of management. Their naans are unbeatable, so delish. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Food was a bit too “smoky” for me but flavours were good otherwise

One of the best curry restaurants in Elmbridge and easy to park opposite or walk to for the locals.

Really enjoyed this little place. The Railway Lamb Curry was a really good quality dish and staff are professional and welcoming. I’d say it rates as the best Indian restaurant you can find around Weybridge. A great alternative to the often much busier Gaylord.

What a lovely restaurant! Walked in yesterday without a reservation (although they are always busy) was very well looked after and got a table straight away! The very kind gentleman that served us treated us like a loyal customer even though we haven't been here in years. Two of us were eating and we were given out drink menus and food menus together, after being asked, which I liked. I went with a cobra and my partner had a coke to drink. Glasses were served with our drink and both glistened like the stars that night. We were then asked if/ how many poppadoms we would like, we got two for the table and it was more than enough (we usually get 10 to share on a takeway) with the gorgeous freshly made complements, mint sauce was exceptional, the mango chutney is the best I have ever tasted (not normally a fan), and the onion mix was extremely fresh and full of flavour. All together on the poppadom was a melt in th mouth experience you MUST TRY! We choose not to have a any starters and go straight in for a main, my partner got a korma and coconut rice, with a glaric and coriander naan. I went with the chicken tikka masala with pilu rice a chapati and we both had onion bajis on the side (we order 2 each and we got given 3 each, very very nice of them indeed). Both curries were exceptional and way beyond the gorgeous taste to what we remember, once again this is the beat curry house I have been too (I've been to quite a few good ones). I strongly recommend this curry house, for both takeaway and to eat in. There service is brilliant, the food is to die for and the price cannot be beaten. You must go!!

We regularly order from here and every single time it has been amazing. We normally order from just eat etc however have recently been ordering directly from the website. Access to an amazing set menu and no added service fee/no delivery fee (for some) make this a much better/cheaper way of ordering. Thank you!!

I ordered from here yesterday and it is the third time this summer . We have always found the food to be delicious and very good value . Yesterday the food was delivered 20m and we are in Walton. I have not seen any deteriorating service , in fact just good honest Indian food .

We always have the same order and every time the price is different, we feel cheated. Service has gone down hill recently as well as the quality of food. Very disappointed and will be using a different restaurant.

Superb Indian food. Highlights include the Indian railway curry (I have it to madras or vindaloo strength), brinjal bhaji (aubergine) and Jalfrezi. Waiter Sams gives top tips on his home city of Dhaka in Bangladesh. Superb restaurant. Try it.

Went here after looking for something local during a works trip. A bit of a hidden gem this place. Absolutely sterling service from the guys here, and honestly one of the best Indian meals I've had for a long time. The chicken chat starter was hand on heart one of the tastiest I've ever had. Give this place a go, you won't be disappointed.

Best place for a curry in Weybridge

Used to go to the golden curry a fair bit back in the day. This is definitely an improvement. Well worth a visit. Big portions too!

Excellent restaurant for deliveries, always on time and of a high standard.

What a disappointment! Everything we ordered wasn’t cooked well and didn’t taste right. Coconut rise was full of sugar crystals and tasted so sweet. The Bhindi Bhaji was hardly cooked and has no flavour. All the currys were so oily! The chicken was hard and dry. This is unacceptable, a total let down.

Amazing service! Amazing value! Most importantly amazing food. Used to be a regular when it was golden curry and honestly can say it's much improved and might love it even more now! Everyone come down Sizzling.

Gorgeous, fresh food, very yummy 😋

Every dish we ordered was laced with sugar, there was no other taste except for the sugar, no spices since all the sauces for the different curries were creamed smooth. And sickly sweet and inedible. The bread, paratha, was undercooked and raw inside, burnt outside. The daal was a fluorescent yellow as if it had colouring. Such a disappointment as we had the same (sweet) Indian meal from the former Indian restaurant at this location years ago. Same cook? Indian Zest Restaurant still the best in Lower Sunbury, exquisite food, every single item on their menu cooked superbly.

Eaten once in the restaurant and just finished a takeaway, great food and service, highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Best Indian food I have found south of Bradford. And West of Mumbai. And north of ... well, you get the picture. What I particularly like is the food is not over-salted, which is a fault of so many restaurants.

Disappointed - was hoping for a good experience as read they have a new chef. The chicken tikka was bright orange, using fake spices and not tasty or authentic at all. Food is geared for the English pallett, and nothing special. They ran out of...

The food has always been good but is even better since the new chef joined and the menu continues to offer a wide range of dishes to choose from. The Garlic Chicken Naga is amazing and has a good kick! It was refurbished last year...

I am a regular here. I always receive a friendly welcome and the food is great. If You order take-away, You get a free beer in the bag. They recently re-furnished the place and it looks very good.

despite recent reviews this place is till very average at best . it is a shame but it is what it is. not bad, but not good
