Popped in with friends to Val’s Kitchen on the off chance after visiting Hampton Court Palace and we were not disappointed. Excellent food at great value prices with attentive staff.

buriyani bix is such a RIP OFF! we used to love buryani jn vais kitchen and now its changed to a buriyani box with a low wty of rice and no raita nor curries they suwd to send onky a small paratha a small wty of curry ! will never order from Vai again ! there are so many restaunts provide the same buriyani with raita and salad with a great qty for less price!

Calamari tasty and tender with light crisp coating, Lamb Biryani tender, aromatic and tasty too, Chilly cauliflower well cooked and spicy.

Came here with me and my friend today, we ordered the butter chicken with basmati rice, grilled king prawns with garlic rice, chilli potato fries and mango juice. Everything was so fresh and very good, our servers were attentive and welcoming Would highly recommend

Pathetic restaurant never ever order and eat from here they have screwed up the order without any indication of why please avoid

I cannot believe I am writing a review, but this meal was so disappointing. I wanted to try a new place but I made the wrong decision. The chicken was (even in the curries) so very dry. I ordered two chicken tikka as it is a favourite in our house, but I had to force everyone to eat it as I did not have time to make another meal. Really sad, we do get take away often and I never post comments, but had to here. Sorry guys but that was not good.

Says 'vegan friendly' on Delivery and yet not a single dish labelled as 'vegan'

Did like the taste, also ordered a started and was sent in gravy and was tooo sweet - We ordered chilly paneer and it was sweet

The food here really is good. Standouts were the meat Masala Dosa and a paratha that accompanied our curry. The Dosa was probably the best I've ever had, the worst being at Indira Gandhi Airport Delhi! The curry was very tasty but the paratha frequently a disappointment elsewhere was simply filo like perfection. Dosas don't travel well so you really should grab one there rather than as a takeaway.

We had a wonderful meal at Vai's celebrating our anniversary. The food was the best we've eaten out in a long time. We'll certainly be back & bring family & friends too.

I don’t usually do reviews but i felt i had to, the food was amazing! Their was so much flavour in everything and the pieces are good aswell. the aubergine fingers are insane i haven’t stopped thinking about it since we were there and the staff are so lovely and friendly. The only downside was the design of the place as everything was abit dull. Will definitely be returning!! :)

Food came 25 mins after ordering and piping hot. We had 1 garlic naan which is big enough to share, Tikka paneer, King Prawn Malabar. All very tasty and would order again

Vai’s never fail. Order nearly every week and love it!

Ordered at 6.20pm for 7.25pm delivery. Called them at 7.25pm - they said it was all running late, not yet cooked and wouldn't be delivered until 8.30pm. Ended up having to leave my guest and drive in the rain to collect it myself. Nice food but woeful delivery timings. Manager gave me two beers as comp. Why bother online ordering to delivery if this is the case? They need to not accept orders they can't honour in reasonable time.

Six of us celebrated a reunion here and enjoyed a lovely meal. The food is Southern Indian / Asian fusion and lovely. We had a good selection of starters and mains, some with a sauce and some dry, veggie, chicken and lamb. Great taste and presentation served gradually over the evening as we wanted. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you.

Went for my daughter’s 16th birthday which I had mentioned when booking. Arrived to restaurant decorated with balloons and banners and daughter received a cake. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Thank you so much to all staff. 100% recommend this lovely restaurant.

The gravy was good but the chicken lollipop was literally burnt. Not sure how many times it was re fried.. couldn’t finish the first piece and ended up binning the rest of it.

I dined here with a group of friends, a self styled curry club, and we are all curry aficionados. We had a superb meal served by charming staff who took great care in ensuring the food was to our liking. They explained each dish and every choice we made was absolutely spot on. One of us said it was the best curry meal he'd had in years, and we all agreed. We will certainly come again.

Authentic South Indian cuisine, plus a hint of fusion.

Food quantity is much less than what other restaurants offer around. Samosa was total disappointing, was expecting a proper Indian Samosa but looks like some frozen stuff fried, that too for a higher price. Overall was not a good expericne. Only thing I liked was Garlic and Chilly Naan.

EDIT - (menu has now been reverted and is great again)!!! Changed the menu getting rid of some of their best options and replaced them with shocking ones like the chili paneer (do not recommend). No more tandoor dishes which were excellent or naans only one bread option now. Shame about the menu change although nice to see the addition of thalis! Always nice staff

Went with a friend and was greeted with friendly service and tasty food. Generous portions. We had a aubergine and dosa to start and lamb chops and tawa chicken and rice and I’d recommend all of them.

We saw v positive reviews but were disappointed. Good starters, but the mains were just saucy and goopy. My vegetable malabar was particularly disappointing, lots of sauce and little discernible veg, just goop. Friendly staff and nice enough ambience, but really nothing to recommend it.

Such a homely place to frequent

Thought we would go somewhere different to sample the food. The waitress was good who tried to persuade the chef to make our food without the chillies. The chef would not have any of this. It sounded like they use the same sauce to make all the different food. Even the basic dishes which could be made in 10 minutes, could not be recreated by the chef as he wanted to use the basic standard Pre made sauce. We had our drinks and left. Will definitely not be visiting this place again.

One of the best Indian best Indian meals we have had for a long time. It was great to have some different dishes on the menu to the same old dishes at other Indian restaurants. I would highly recommend the aubergine fingers on the starters menu, we had 3 different lamb main courses and shared them, all were absolutely superb. We even had a bottle of Indian sauvignon blanc, who knew they produced wine there?! It was very good and well priced. This restaurant is a brilliant find, we will definitely return.

An Indian restaurant with a very different menu. The sticky aubergine fingers for starters was a winner and the parata bread was thin, light and a delicious. Quite large portions.

The best Indian meal we've had for a long time. The menu is quite different to the normal run of the mill Indian menu, which tend to be the same dishes wherever you go. For starters I had crispy Okra which was good, my daughter had onion bhaji which was cooked in light batter and not heavy and greasy and my husband had the aubergine fingers which was the winner. Absolutely delicious. We then shared lamb malabar, lamb calicut and an unpronounceable named lamb dish. All were really superb and tasty. We also had a bottle of Indian sauvignon blanc. Who knew India made wine, it was very nice! This restaurant is a real find and we will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend Vai's Kitchen.

They serve authentic Indian food and some of the best curry we have had in the U.K. since we moved here from India. The restaurant is in a busy location, very well managed, clean and hygienic. But the best part is the food - we had Tawa chicken and naan bread and it was delicious. We will come back to this restaurant to try out other dishes.

We have been eating at this restaurant quite a lot over the years and the food and service has always been great. Having just moved back to Hampton Court a month ago we decided to have dinner tonight after work and the food was even better than our last visit 18 months ago. Highly recommended.

Great takeaway and fab food. Eat here alot, however ate in today for the 2nd time. I normally take away once a week, if not at least once a month. Food standards seem to be sliping, Its normal 10.5 out of 10 toinight was a 7. Please please Dont slip away like all the other 4 out of 10 curry houses molesey.

Vegetable biryani was super bland and the rice was just very dry. I also ordered paneer butter masala somehow ended up with a tub of various leaves swimming in grease. Also thanks so much for giving me literally the crumbs of half a papadom. Seriously not worth your money, there are places that actually offer quality and flavour for much less

We always travel with pleasure from Greenwich to Vai's Kitchen,one of our favourite Indian restaurant. We love Masala Dosa, and this time we tried the vegetarian Vendakka and AloPuli and Peneer Butter Masala Wich as expected was delicious.

What a gem, service was superb and personal, food was sublime. The chili chicken was punchy and the portion size was generous. Loved the lamb. Highly recommended.

We have been eating here on a regular basis and I cannot fault the food or friendly service. We’ve tried most things on the menu and were always delighted with the quality and taste of everything. They always go above and beyond to make everything right to suit our tastes. Ps. The Paratha is amazing!!
