The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We went to their Anniversary Dinner last night, it was very busy and had a good atmosphere. We were looked after very well all evening, the food was excellent, a homestyle menu, we had complimentary drinks and a bottle of wine. It’s our only Indian we go to, it’s the best in town!

One of the better Curry Mile options. Big menu, lots of classics. Staff are very helpful and food is good quality - curry portions are good although rice can be a bit on the smaller side. Could have done with my jalfrezi being hotter though! Always happy to go back.

We ate here for the first time this week and it was delicious! We had the chicken lollypops, butter chicken and onion Kulcha. All was amazing and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Grill is ok. Currys are awful. Waitresses are unprofessional, not sure where they found them from.

We had a takeaway delivered. Delivery good but food swimming in oil and pretty bland. We were on holiday in the area and picked this restaurant as the reviews were good. Very disappointed with the quality. Chilli chicken very bland and swimming in oil. Korma tasty but had the consistency of a very thin soup.

We always have been happy however this evening we were bitterly disappointed... Why? Because the increase in price over the last month plus the decline in service has left us looking for another alternative. We ordered our (usual) and the pickle tray was missed off, we called the restaurant and we were told that they would send it straightaway... some 45 minutes later the pickle tray arrived.... evening ruined !! The delivery guy said "It's a busy restaurant you know" 🙈🙈🙈

Received a delivery lastnighy. Curry was all over the bag (popped open), the food was stone cold and delivery was late. I only ordered from here as I have been to Gulshan a couple of times and the food was amazing. However, not this time. The naan was tiny, all food cold, chicken in the curry was dry (over cooked). I’ve never had a worse delivery than this one. I wouldn’t have paid £5 for it never mind the alnisy £50 it cost! Bitterly disappointed, I would never order delivery from here again!
