Such a worst food we got yesterday in this restaurant. I think all foods are done maybe 2 days before and they reheated them; especially planner which is seems to be done maybe a week before. Never ever try this restaurant. If it’s any negative starts to give I would have give negative 100 for their foods; it’s too costly not worth at all. Never ever try this restaurant foods.

Tried takeaway for first time yesterday , food delicious , plenty of it too , man who served us , Burnley man , so very friendly and chatty , will definitely eat here again , will eat in next time

Five of us ate here last night. The restaurant is modern and most importantly very clean. Prices are fair. We all ordered different items. When the food arrived it looked amazing and tasted delicious, all freshly made. Compliments to the Chef. The service was excellent, very professional. Would highly recommend Baby Kingfisher.

We haven’t tried baby KF, since before covid, we tried for a takeaway, the food was passable but nothing great, I couldn’t believe the price hike, £9-95 for a takeaway duphiaza I don’t think so , the meal we had for 2 usually costs £18-95 , takeaway, last night costed £28-00 I’m sorry but it’s the last time. No wonder the place is empty when you pass.

Service was fantastic food was out of this world and new decorations made a fantastic new atmosphere spotless and promptly served to perfection a must try Try ...

Delivery. Way earlier than expected, which was great. The food was really tasty, with the paneer cooked just perfectly. Will for sure order again.

I came here with my mum and dad for tea me and mum had king prawn tikka massala with pilau rice and peshawari naans and dad had the chicken and chips, the food was beautiful and the service was on point will definitely be returning, it was just a shame it was so quiet but it was a Tuesday night I hope they get more custom as they definitely deserve it

We had a delicious meal here last week for a family member’s birthday. We were a party of 12 and every one of our meals was exceptionally good. Service friendly and staff attentive. Will be going here again over Easter.

Came in here for my Dad’s birthday and the food was outstanding, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly - would definitely recommend this place.

1st time and the last from here, ordered a buttered chicken it tasted just like a korma, I've had buttered chicken in many an Indian resturant and take away, even had it in India, it never looked or tasted anything like this, I called and complained they sent another one which was even worse it was like dish water, all they actually done was not put the coconut in, buttered chicken does not have coconut in anyway, it completely spoilt our dinner

It took them over 40 minutes to ask us for food starters was freezing cold WORST SERVICE EVER DONT GO

The restaurant was quiet but the service was really slow, took about two hours for a collection order to be ready and didn't even say sorry when we got the food. The food was hot when brought home but quite poor quality and definitely not as tasty as it used to be. Avoid unless they fix the service and food!

Food was good, staff friendly, shared starter platters not great value, food service is very, very slow (even when restaurant is quite). Okay if your not going on somewhere and happy just to sit and drink.

Ordered two set meals for 4 and couple of extras for those that wanted something different and there was more than enough to go round for 11 of us. Fantastic food and we always get takeaway from here when we have family visiting. Service is always prompt and food always hot when delivered. Wouldn't use anywhere else for our Indian meals.

Probably one of the best curries I've had in a long time. We went to the Baby Kingfisher as a second choice, having not been there before. Let's just say it's now our first choice. Great service and the food was even better.

Super delicious food and very flavoursome. Friendly staff. Didn't quite make 5 stars as the atmosphere is a little quiet and a bit of delay for the starter to arrive which was luke warm. A bit of a wait to get the bill. Minor things, still a fantastic restaurant and a solid 4 stars!

If I have an option to give half star then I would have given that. no fresh, everything is frozen. we ordered a soup and we didn't like it and same soup bowl has been served to other table, that is simply yukkkkk... as soon as we saw that we didn't dare to eat anything there. extremely bad food and they use food colour. definitely ill not recommend and this is not an Indian restaurant. its a Bangladeshi restaurant.

Food is amazing. But if you are sitting in make sure you rap up well as they dont have any heating. Not one radiator in the place.

Called to book a table and they would not take my dine membership despite the term and conditions mentioning its validity. Went anyway to the restaurant before closure and saw no one eating. No staff either at the door or inside. Ended up going somewhere else

100% recommended, service is excellent, my wife had Chicken Tikka Massala and said it was the best she'd tasted, I plumped for the Afgani Special as I like to try something new at different restaurants and I wasn't disappointed, full of flavour with the added crunch of fresh cucumber, the naan breads were cooked to perfection with the right balance of bread and filling (one cheese and one keema)

Only go here if u have a very large wallet coz u will bloody need it

Terrible customer service, would avoid at all costs. Can't give 0 stars or I would. Ordered through just eat, phoned 20mins later to tell us they did not have the ingredients, told them to cancel. Phone us back later to say we had to cancel with just eat too, that they couldn't at their end. Spent half an hour fighting to get a refund as they said they'd delivered it even though they hadn't made it as they had no ingredients. To make Matters worse, shouted at my wife when she tried to explain that they could and should cancel at their end or that just eat wanted conformation from them, would rather us loose our money (and it wasn't cheap) rather than help us.

Came here just before second lockdown and the food was excellent. Ordered and picked up a takeaway recently and it was just as good. Excellent portions. Definitely authentic and very fresh food. Can't ask for any more.

ordered 3 takeaway meals tonight for collection. All the meals were delicious. Very disappointed when collecting the meals and paying by debit card to be told that there is a £1.00 charge for paying by card. There is no mention of this charge on their website or menu. Very sharp practice!!

I feel a bit ripped off by this place. Just ordered a delivery and specifically requested “NO CORIANDER ON ANYTHING”. Seeing as I’d already pre-paid, they decided to ignore this request and sent 3 of the 4 dishes with coriander. Then they didn’t answer the phone and the food is now cold and in the bin. Really poor customer service. Well.... ex-customer!!

Ordered takeaway from here. Great portions, good quality food, arrived quickly. Very reliable restaurant to order Indian and we think the best Indian in the area given there are a few competitors nearby.

Delicious curry and rice. My husband had the prawn jalfrezi and said they were the best prawns he had ever had. Worth the travel just outside Blackpool. Excellent customer service surrounded by a fantastic decor possibly the best restaurant decoration we have seen. Will be back when in Blackpool. Well done guys

Our last night in Blackpool and after calling round a couple of places to book table with no joy we found this place....glad we did food was amazing and service was excellent....Next time we are here we will definitely be eating here and would highly reccomend 👌👌

We were on holiday In Blackpool and asked for Baby Kingfisher to do a delivery to our caravan site.The food was delivered quickly it had plenary of meat in in it was good quality food not all just sauce as some restaurants do. Very tasty food cooked to our exact requirements. Couldn’t fault the food or service.

We visited Blackpool for two nights and ate at this same restaurant three times. The vegetable madras was delicious and the naan breads fresh and soft. Popadoms and chutney tray is a must. Service fantastic. They're able to make the food to your taste which is a bonus. Restaurant is very clean, worthy of the 5 star hygiene rating. Toilets spacious and clean too.

I gave this restaurant a second go before reviewing as I wanted to check it again but, although the food was excellent, the overall experience was not.The first time we went I rang to partake in the 'Dine Card' deal of 2 meals for 1. They said that it couldn't be used with another offer, which I expected, but hadn't in any way advertised they had an offer on that night. After much confusion I established they did have an offer and we could go for on or the other.On arrival we were shown to the table but then told we had to buy starters if we wanted the Dine offer, which isn't mentioned in the t's and c's and wasn't mentioned over the phone. I wasn't best pleased as I didn't want a starter but would have ordered sides with my meal. We had their 'offer' meal and I have to say that I enjoyed it and left with my leftovers (being too full after a starter!). The food was excellent and the chef/manager's brother who served us was lovely, although the others didn't look happy.I went again for the Eat Out offer. I couldn't get through on the phone so I sent a Messenger request. They got back to me 10 days later...We went for our meal and had to wait, which was fine except that the chef/manager advised he'd forgotten to book our table! We got asked about drinks but asked for a couple of minutes, got asked again 30 seconds later by someone else. Had to ask again for water when we had ordered. We were asked if we were ready to order, said yes, then the waiter went off to lay a table and serve others...was just very disorganised.I'll say the food is excellent although pricey but it is the service that let's it down. They don't appear to be happy people and are definitely not efficient!

Food here is very tasty, staff are pleasant I would highly recommend this restaurant , good choice on the menu. If you like your curries hot try Chicken Naga.

We took advantage of the 'eat out to help out' this evening. Meal was really good, Staff super super friendly, efficient and attentive - although busy tonight, food was served promptly. Restaurant very clean. Definitely worth a visit. I for one will be returning ...the food was great

Aggressive manager and chef kicking off with customers when we ask them to remove the service charge which infact is NOT COMPULSORY in England!! Yes we are in England!!! Embarrassing, childish behaviour when he had a restaurant full! Police even had to attend! Disgraceful. I would not recommend this place at all!! Threatening to punch a female nurse and wanting to take her bag! This is not what I expect when I am a paying guest. You should be ashamed of your behaviour, acting like a child or maybe it was clear there was MH issues going on here. Definitely not ok

Mediocre food and absolutely Shocking customer service. Aggressive disingenuous business trying to scam customers out of there money applying hidden service charges that they believe is ok to charge as mandatory to customer and not optional due to them supposedly having to wait 7 days to claim there money back via the eat out scheme from the government!!! They should be closed down!!! And when you question there hidden charges and ask for them to be removed politely they try the, I’ll “lose my job”card if I don’t get the pullBill paid for and then when that fails you get the verbal aggression and then they try and take your mrs handbag and then raise fists to a women with extremely threatening behaviour. Eat here at your own risk guys and prepare to be scammed . We had to call the police to deal with the low life little “men “ I use the word men in the loosest possible way.

Nice place, friendly staff, good food

We ate here on a Thursday which was just after the Eat Out To Help Out scheme so there was pretty much no one else in the restaurant which we don't mind at all as it meant it was quiet and we could take our time.I ordered a chicken tikka madras and my boyfriend got the chicken tikka vindaloo. The madras was spicy but at the right level so it can be enjoyed. My boyfriend struggled with the spicy vindaloo but enjoyed it nonetheless. We've been to many Indian restaurants but I'd put this one at the top. A lot of places we've been to don't make the curries spicy enough for our liking but this was perfect. The sauce was thick and there was plenty of chicken. The egg rice and chips were also really good. I'd also like to mention how nice the chutney dips for the papadoms were too! We'll definitely be visiting again next time we're in Blackpool.

Greeted nicely at door & sat at a quiet social distancing table. Advised of special offers & sticks arrived fast as did staff member taking order. Big table in other side of restaurant which delayed our order. No issue at all really but chef bellowed from the kitchen at the staff. It was like Gordon Ramsey !!!!Chef continued to shout most of the night. Food arrived on trolley that mimicked a London Underground train arriving. More amusing than annoying. Supper was delicious beautifully presented & really tasty. If we were local we’d frequent for sure. But I would tell Mr Shouty Chef to quieten down I couldn’t hear Bonnie Tyler!!!

Had a takeaway for first time from here first last night, it was excellent will be going here again . Had the meal for 2 and very good for the price , good size portions.

We chose this Indian as it was recommended to us, and Tbh it was a longer walk from the promenade than we expected and nearly turned back a couple of times.Eventually we found Highfield road which was a fairly quiet and pleasant roadThe restaurant from the outside is pleasant and welcoming which carries on inside by the staff who were all friendly and attentive, the decor is also v nice.It was about 8pm on a Sunday night when we went so it was fairly quiet.I had a pint of peroni which was £4.95 and the others in our party had cokes.We had poppadoms and 5 selections dips/saucesWe ordered chicken tikka main meals x2 and sheek kebabs, nan bread and chips which were included in the price of the tikka.We didn't have long to wait and the sheek kebabs were bigger than normal and v tasty, the tikka arrived on a sizzling hot plate with onions and were a nice bright red colour compared to some ive had before which have been a dull orange colour.The tikka like the kababs were v tasty and plenty of it the chips were nice and crisp, we also had a nan bread which we had no complaints about.Overall a v enjoyable tasy meal, with friendly staff and if your looking for somewhere away from the busy part of Blackpool I'd recommend the Baby Kingfisher price was £53 which covered the meals 2 x peronis, 2 x cokes and a pint of koppenberg

I get a takaway from here most Saturday nights and food is great A little expensive tho for a takeaway I did try shapla across the road but its not on the same scale

Our first visit on Saturday, 22nd Feb. We were really impressed with the quality of the food, service and price. We will certainly go again.

I have been a great supporter of Baby Kingfisher since it opened consistently good food & superb service . My dining experience this time was SPOT ON . The chicken madras was served piping hot & full of flavour good sized portion could not fault it . The service was Courteous & I was offered the usual drink on the house at the end of the meal which always goes down well .Sad to see the reviews over the Xmas & new year . If I was the new owner I would invite the unhappy customers to a free meal to act as compensation get things back on track . The complaints seem to revolve round bad service issues & not the quality of food .It’s still the same chef who’s experience shows in the excellent food that comes out of the kitchen time after time .

I've loved Baby Kingfishers , been good till....Last Saturday night I rung 6.30pm for a takeaway. I rung again about 8pm , still no takeaway.The driver rung me about 8.30pm, he didnt know where he was going. Got my takeway 9pm ish. Hooray! But...was cold! Never again!

Went for a birthday meal tonight me and 6 of my family... great service great food even went out n got a cake top meal highly recomend!

Booked a meal for New Year’s Eve with the family when we got there from the start people were complaining about the amount of time it was taking for food and drinks to arrive we should have left then We had to wait an hour for our drinks to arrive then another hour and a half for the food to arrive and some of the food we ordered didn’t arrive stuff we never ordered did arrive at our table we told the staff it was the wrong food and we go told it’s not their problem they only work there the manager/owner didn’t care and had a very bad attitude people at the next table were vegetarian and got chicken curry and told the manager he explained to them it was fine to eat because the chicken was a vegetarian they walked out without paying then another family left without paying full price because the service was so bad the owner grabbed their baby’s pram and demanded £50 or he would keep the pram some of the staff were really drunk and just kept laughing and arguing with the owner then the owner sacked the drunk waiter and he started helping himself to the gin at the bar when we asked for the bill it took 20 mins it came on a napkin with food and drink that we never had added on to the bill when we complained about the additional food and drink that we never had the owner locked to doors and the kitchen staff came out then there was a little scuffle and a woman and child got injured by the owner it’s lucky the whole restaurant never got smashed up it was a terrible night we ended up having to call the police on the owner he was just a basil faulty at best worst experience iv ever had at a restaurant avoid at all cost

Terrible service. I had booked in person and we were left standing around for 20 minutes before we were shown to the table. It took another hour for drinks to arrive as two trips to the bar found no one there! It was another 45 minutes until the main course arrived and I was served chicken despite asking for a vegetarian meal! Very disappointing and will not go again

Absolutely fantastic the food was excellent and so was the service and very polite staff.

Recently under new ownership, we visited Baby kingfisher on a quiet Friday evening. The service was great and the new owner very attentive. Starters and mains were generous portions and very tasty. There are differences and maybe this should be indicated in a change of menu (especially as it remains on the expensive side) but due to the friendly service we will certainly return.

Food was lovely and staff where very accommodating. Very friendly atmosphere definitely would recommend and will be returning. :)

Called to this lovely Indian restaurant, very nice decor inside. I was well looked after. Pickle tray was amazing with a couple of Popadoms. I then had Shish kebab followed by Prawn Madras. All delicious. Highly recommended.

Myself and a couple of friends were in Blackpool visiting for a few days and we wanted to have a meal out, that’s when we found this restaurant we booked a table before Christmas Eve, we was greeted with a warm welcome, there was no distracting televisions screens which was nice and the staff were very friendly, the food was great the starters alone were amazing, would definitely come back if we visit Blackpool again next time. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys Indian cuisines.

The review below this is fake - it is from a member of staff from the restaurant!!!! Avoid at all costs- myself and family also went on NYE and the staff were RUDE. Using curse words, making accusations of people not booking tables, ignoring requests for food/drinks. One table was eating popadoms without plates as they refused to bring them any!!!!! We ordered drinks finally after 45 minutes and they only managed to bring the kids cokes. Incompetent staff. Unprofessional - new owners do not know how to run a business. We left as they couldn’t cope with having booked patrons! Rude rude rude.

Went there for new years day had an excellent meal the best indian in blackpool the family wer happy, couple of people wer complaining about the service they was over booked it and couldnt fit anyone else in, it was packed and the staff wer fabulous could not fault them at all highly recommend just a couple drunk people making a bad name for them
