First visit to Zest of India and I’m delighted to be sharing such positive feedback. The food is superb, each dish we ordered was well prepared and incredibly tasty. The chef comes to check customer satisfaction and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming and contains the typical dishes you would expect along with a great range of chef specialities. I’m already looking forward to trying other dishes at my next visit. We opted for dishes we’ve never tried before and were delighted with the choices. The only negative was the restaurant was fairly quiet with only 2 other tables in but it deserves more as this is an excellent Indian restaurant serving great food!

Went to this restaurant as local to where we stayed and TA reviews , the food of pork Bao buns , chicken satay , veg tempura , duck with pancakes and sea bass were so great . The cucumber for the duck was very limited and was wilted , also the service was very attentive early on, but was lacking later in the evening . Presentation of the dishes was done very well

As always had an amazing meal best Indian food we have had. Service is great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Abir is so friendly and welcoming and remembers us every time we come. Food is served quick and piping hot great value for money. Well worth coming to try!

This is the 4th time I have eaten here and this restaurant never fails to disappoint. I travel a lot on business and am always looking for a good curry. Chicken Jalfrezi is my go to dish and this is one of the best ones I have ever had. Extensive menu good service. I will definitely be back.

Just had an excellent meal at Zest of India. Start to finish the service was superb with attentive waiters without being obtrusive. Good portion size and really tasty food. Couldn't even manage a dessert. Will be back. Well worth the price. Price paid includes wine.

Fresh and full of flavour. Lamb was lamb. Staff are great its nice that the chef came out to make sure your food was OK. But dose go on a bit. But the food is fantastic and if there is any think wrong they will sort it for you. 10 out of 10.

What an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and full of charm. The staff was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind — making us feel right at home. Every dishes we ordered was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The spices were beautifully balanced, and you could tell everything was made with care, the Madras was aromatic and perfectly spiced, and the naan was soft, warm, and absolutely addictive. Even the little details like the presentation of the dishes and the thoughtful pacing of the meal — made the entire evening feel special I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is an absolute gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Really good value on a Sunday for the excellent buffet. Staff attentative, welcoming and friendly. Well worth a visit and the trip out from Blackpool to Squires Gate at end of tramline.

I’m not being funny or anything but I whent there and it took a long wait and the poeple after us got there food faster and we ordered a kebeb and it was the smallest thing u could ever see I would recommend this place

Fantastic meal .. mixed kebab for starters. Adrag lamb and chicken chamuk with mushroom rice and keema naan.. Amazing.. the lamb dish was the best I've ever tasted. Will be back soon.

Ordered a takeaway, the food was late which was blamed on a kitchen mix-up but nothing complimentary like a poppadoms was added, the onion bhajis were cold, I ordered £7 worth of Fanta Orange Zero and received the full sugar version. The chicken tikka masala wasn't as nice as usual either and had unchopped cashew nuts in. I thought they'd sent a prawn curry til I realised what they were. Wasn't impressed this time. The food was lovely when I ate in the restaurant and previous takeaways have been good. Disappointed ☹️

I recently visited Zest of India , the atmosphere was warm and inviting , their food was delicious . I tried their chicken curry and chicken biriyani. Their service was attentive and enjoyable making the whole experience more enjoyable .

Used for the first time yesterday to buy mother a curry for birthday. Ordered a chicken Balti which on menu states £5.90. A rather small pot the size of a supermarket ready meals arrived and I was charged over £10! Then was told cash only. Will not use again.

First time trying this restaurant as my usual Indian was closed, and I have to say, my friend and I were very impressed, we think we have found our new regular restaurant! For me there were 3 stars of of the show, the Onion Bhaji, crisp on the outside and moist inside , very tasty and not at all greasy as you usually get, the nan bread was light and almost melted in the mouth, and the real star the chicken Dopaiza was fresh and perfectly balanced, great job guys, we Will be back

First time visiting after reading all good reviews thought we would give it a try. Didn’t disappoint. Food was divine. 3 course meal every dish was amazing starter and main was all served piping hot. Dessert was very tasty. Service was brilliant. Enjoyed the drinks too. Had lovely Indian music on very lovely atmosphere and cosy. Can’t wait to return. I give this restaurant 5 stars. Went there on Saturday night for dinner with my family. Loved their curry dishes. If you love spices and flavourful food, then I recommend this place. Tried the lamb curry, tandoori roti. We also ordered the biriyani and its was great. The chicken was perfectly cooked and really flavourful. Their interior gives a homely vibe, nothing too fancy and sparkling though. The staff and Chef were really well behaved and came to checkup on us every now and then. We will definitly try their buffet next time.

Is the place good ? Yes! It was very clean and well organised. Would I revisit this place again? Definitely! Went there this Friday night with my friends, had a really lovely time there. The food was excellent and so tasty. Their tandoori and curry dishes are a must try. Highly recommended. Every employee had a professional and decent attitude. Thank you Zest of India. Keep it up! We visited this Indian restaurant on a Sunday evening while in Blackpool, coming from West London, where curry is king. Despite noticing that the prices were quite high, we decided to give it a try. We ordered butter chicken and a lamb dish, along with some poppadoms, lemonade, Coke, and a family-sized garlic naan. The presentation and service were excellent, and the naan was particularly delicious. However, the main dishes were disappointing—bland, watery, and lacking depth of flavor. As a chef, I would rate the food 6/10. The total bill came to £65, which felt quite expensive for what we received. That said, given the location, it may be in line with local pricing. I’d recommend that the owner focus on improving the seasoning and freshness of the dishes to enhance the overall experience.

Return here time after time whenever visiting Blackpool, can never fault the food or the service the only fault I can find on our most recent visit today was the price, the bill was double what we pay at home and definitely more expensive than what I’ve ever been charged at a Indian or at this particular restaurant, I have added it up from the online bill and there was £10 additional on top so unless a service charge was added I’m not sure but this charge would certainly now put me off returning but other than this based on everything else I would recommend to someone else.

Wow wow wow. Went to celebrate a birthday and so pleased we came here. Great menu with lots of choice. The food was very authentic and made to order so you could choose the spice/heat level. Quality, fresh ingredients used in all the dishes. Excellent, friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely decor, Clean toilets with lovely soaps. We will definitely be back here soon

We arrived without having booked - We weren’t sure if we’d be able to get a table because it was so busy, but luckily for us there was one spare. I was fearful that we may be a little neglected in terms of service but I needn’t have feared - The staff were very attentive despite a packed restaurant. The food was exceptional - The duck Jolsha is highly recommended!

We are staying at the Hilton Blackpool and fancied an Indian Meal for a birthday treat and found this place on Google. So glad we did. The food was lovely, some unusual dishes to try, portions were big, service was friendly. Will definitely go again.

Stayed over in Blackpool for a couple nights and was looking for a curry and came across this place! Omg the food was unbelievable and me and my partner are fussy with curries! Food was beautiful great portions also!! Definitely recommend this place 🔥🔥🔥

We went for Xmas day and as usual very busy and very good. Pints are £5.50 for anyone wondering, they do a buffet Sunday to Thursday night excellent value, food is fantastic can't beat there onion bhaji

Zest makes good food HOWEVER, last time i got the special tandoori kebab wrap there was loads of chicken on it , however tonight there was only one fifth of the amount of chicken on there compared to last time which made me very unhappy , and it costs £14.95 for a tiny little bit of chicken on a small naan bread, so im not left feeling good, felt like a rip off tonight and weve been going here for years

Me and my wife enjoyed a meal from zest of india, it was DELICIOUS. I had the king prawn puri to start, one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! You could tell everything was fresh and that’s just credit to the chef. Outstanding meal! Will deffo be returning.

This was our second visit to Zest of India, with another one of our friends, and as locals I have to say it’s got to be the best Indian cuisine by far here in Blackpool! Not only that, the staff are amazing, so friendly & chatty. The chef/owner actually comes out & talks to the customers. Last night he personally went to each individual table asking if we enjoyed our meal & asked how we all were. Fantastic food, cleanliness top rate & staff first class. Also it was nice not to feel rushed while eating. Highly recommend!!!

Was in Blackpool for the week from South Wales and I will admit I am the world's worst for being picky about my food ..!!! But.. I have to say this was the best Inadian food I have ever had in my life .. it was Amazing so tasty 😋... I would recommend anyone visiting Blackpool to get food from here .. and such lovely people who own it was nice to meet you

The food is unbelievable, but the owner and his wife are just out of this world as they were fully booked yet were honest and said if sadly I could eat in an hour and half they accommodated my wife and I yet didn't rush us. First class and I even asked how spicy I wanted my meal they are the apitomy of hosting skills love it. Going tonight again and taking my mate with us.
