Came away from south wales for a week, Honestly one of nicest Indians I’ve ever had, would recommend to anyone, staff was lovely, food was outstanding! The flavour was amazing, local or far I’d recommend you try them! Will be going here again when we visit every time 👏🏻

Was in Blackpool for the week from South Wales and I will admit I am the world's worst for being picky about my food ..!!! But.. I have to say this was the best Inadian food I have ever had in my life .. it was Amazing so tasty 😋... I would recommend anyone visiting Blackpool to get food from here .. and such lovely people who own it was nice to meet you

Me and mum usually always get the mango chicken each and a garlic and peshwari naan and sometimes chicken pakora with garlic rice , this is my favourite indian i love it , real quality and flavours and friendly people, i bloody love zest of india !

The food is unbelievable, but the owner and his wife are just out of this world as they were fully booked yet were honest and said if sadly I could eat in an hour and half they accommodated my wife and I yet didn't rush us. First class and I even asked how spicy I wanted my meal they are the apitomy of hosting skills love it. Going tonight again and taking my mate with us. They are simply the best restaurant in Blackpool end of. Ryan

We had a fabulous meal here as a family. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The food was incredible - you must try the Zest Special Kebab - truly fantastic. We had not eaten at the restaurant before as we were visiting from Newcastle but we will definitely be eating here again. Magnificent.

Ordered a takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Never tasted takeaway Indian food like it! Didn’t get our onion Bhaji but it didn’t matter. We ordered Pappadums/ chutneys, exotic biriani and a lamb bhuna. Recommend 100%

Visited this lovely restaurant on Tuesday evening, the service was great. The food is excellent, I tried lamb nawab 😋👌. The chef came to speak with us and he was lovely. Will definitely visit here again very soon.

After trying a couple of Indian restaurants in Blackpool we were not keen to try a new place. But we are so glad we did. Food was absolutely beautiful. Biryani was a little spicy but the chef came out and offered me yoghurt and milk, worked a treat and hands down the most flavoursome biryani I have tried. Chicken tikka masala was beautiful also, naans were stuffed with cheese. Service was unmatched. Will definitely be returning👍🏻

Me, my husband and my little boy visited this on Monday and we had a nice experience. We were on a mini moon in St Anne's and I was craving a curry. I ordered the garlic chilli chicken and my husband ordered the butter chicken. Now usually when restaurants say chilli, it really isn't, but this curry blew my head off! I still ate it as I can handle my spice. My husband's butter chicken was the best we've tasted. It's definitely number 1 on his list of favourites. The waiters were very attentive and really friendly to my little boy. They even gave him free ice cream at the end of this meal. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back and visit.

Butter Chicken is my usual dish when going to indian restaurants. The Butter Chicken w/ Cheese Naan here is the best i've had and the service is top tier

One of the best curries I have ever had. Staff were on the ball and the chef even came out to ask customers if they enjoyed the meal. Only reduced by one star as the price is somewhat higher than I am used to, still I don't suppose you can complain if the quality is good. Recommend

Just had a amazing meal here, we tried the buffet, everything cooked fresh and to order, the owner and staff work really hard to give the customer the best experience, the buffet is excellent value and the food its self so nice and different from the usual, the drinks are a great price and varied choice, cannot recommend enough, we have booked to go again to sample the full menu, cant wait, thankyou for a lovely meal and experience..

Had ordered the food on Uber eats, called the restaurant as there was a delay in the food being delivered,but the person who picked up the phone said there was no order under my name...A few minutes later the food arrived and I called the restaurant to check if there was any order in the evening on Uber eats under my name again and she said no ,but sometimes the order doesn't pop up,I said there was a bill from the zest of India and she asked if all the items were there,and when I said yes she said it's probably from their shop. The quality of food was horrible ,the shahi chicken was sweet,you can clearly see there was definitely added colour and sweetener in it rather than the almond/cashew paste... The naan was dry and hard... Same with the prawns,had so much artificial colouring to it... Really wondered if it was a scam place that delivered the food or was it really from Zest of India as the reviews on Google was really good.. Had to leave the food and order from another place.... Only saving grace was the dhal...no Indian place can go wrong with Dhal As you can tell you have replied without reading the message. I called the restaurant and asked when my order would come as Uber had no tracking. The receptionist said"there was no order in my name.I asked her to check previous orders and again she said there was nothing. Few minutes later food arrived.So I called the restaurant back to confirm it was from you. The lady again said there is no record of my order and if it has a bill from Zest of India then it's probably from them. Yes I did complain regarding the quality of the food to Uber as it was pathetically sub standard,added artificial colouring and the chicken had definitely sugar in it ..I lived and grew up in India eating Indian food... Why have you not responded to the quality of the food? So you agree that the food was sub standard

Ibiza drinks prices in Blackpool 😬 £14 for a double vodka lemonade? Questioned it at the till as 3 drinks came up to £38 was told their just lytham prices from an Indian on a main road in Blackpool 😂 was also charged £8 for a naahn that we never recieved which they did take off. I've no issue paying for decent food which it was but there's not a single place in Blackpool that charges that for drinks. Buy a double and it pays for the whole bottle. Just down the road and bought 2 doubles with lemonade £11.80 that's £2 less than a single drink costs Absolute robbery

Great freshly cooked food. Can taste the individual spices in most dishes. Fresh nan bread. Fresh onion bajas. Efficient service, friendly staff. Very busy night Saturday due perhaps to our show in Blackpool. Suggest booking a table. Highly recommend and would return.

update 10th July 2021 12 months on and its Zest of India's first birthday, we have had many meals in and countless takeaways, food has always been awesome. July 2020 I can't rate this restaurant high enough. I need 6 stars. Re-branded from the Lea Raj with new owners, what an absolute change!! The food was excellent and the staff were really attentive. A fantastic Indian dining experience. The experienced chef is using some of his Grandmother's recipes. I would recommend you try this place! 2024, place is still awesome, can't recommend it high enough, visit, you will not be disappointed

We visited this lovely restaurant on a Wednesday evening. The food and service was perfect again. The owner and staff are great hosts and provide excellent service. The food was delicious again. Already planning our next visit, unfortunately it isn't local to us. Wish it was. Highly recommend.

One of the best Indian restaurants, period. This is the second time I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment and it did not disappoint. I live in Hong Kong and have spent most of my life travelling the world, experiencing a vast array of cuisines, but I have to say this place I rank up there with one of the best Indian restaurants. The owner took the time to come and chat to us and it transpired that this restaurant takes a lot of influence for Bangladeshi style cooking. The blend of spices is mind-blowing; for me, this represents the best restaurant in the NW of England. In short, I recommend this place if you are a spice lover.

We had talked about going to this family run restaurant several times over the last few months and decided to go this evening on a spontaneous date night! We made a reservation which was definitely a good idea as it was busy when we arrived. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing and we enjoyed drinks & poppadoms whilst perusing the extensive menu. The menu is full of classic dishes as well as some very tempting chef's specials. Crispy chicken rolls & mixed kebab starters were followed by a spicy chicken madras and a lamb palak which was full of the most meltingly tender lamb. All the food was piping hot and really fresh & delicious. We just about managed a coffee afterwards. It was a really lovely evening and we will certainly return.

The food had a lot of artificial colours used and the biryani is nothing close to Indian flavour! The garlic was raw, the mutton was overcooked and tasted stale! I would highly not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Just moved in the area and tried this Indian Restaurant for a take an away, it was really good. The food was hot and very tasty, the staff are really friendly will definitely use it again.

Very disappointed to be honest yesterday as it took ages for lamb chops when they came out was over cooked small 2 chops one so small was not worth the price then to get overcharged....normally we always come there eat on special occasions...but yesterday disappointed...waited ages not even offered any poppadoms with sauces while it took ages for main food..sorry but have to be honest

What a find, very good food and staff. Visited for our evening meal as we were staying over night in the south shore area of Blackpool for work. The 4 of us opted for the buffet option as it came in under our £25 a night allowance. We got the starter selection, a total of 4 different curries, 4x naan, 4x rice and dips... for £18.95.. £18.90 bloody 5! Despite the price food was cracking, and we were stuffed the chef even came out and checked everyone's table. We had a great night with great food well done team Zest and we hope you do well. If you after a decent Curry in South Shore it's the best we have had in the years of trekking to Blackpool.

Not only does zest of India serves the best Indian food in Blackpool, rather it serves THE BEST FOOD IN BLACKPOOL. Everything in the menu is nothing short of delicious. The butter Naan is better than what is actually served at the top restaurants in INDIA. Great service as well.

TBH i wasn't sure about this place never heard of it before and the prices were putting me off i thought it was way too expensive.. but i had £25 gift card for my birthday for just eat and it was also cheeky Tuesday.. so we took a chance and SO GLAD we did this was gorgeous absolutely exquisite everything we ordered was lush.. our new fav go to here won't be getting any Indian food anywhere else from now on..as for the prices. (I GET IT'S NOW) You've heard of the saying, you get what you pay for neva a truer word said for zest of India bloody lovely food seriously delic if you were like me hesitant because seems pricey don't worry about it once you start eating you to will understand the quality of food negates these prices i would happily pay more than they are zest of India is class with beautiful food for everyone can't wait until next time we order fantastic

Absolutely love this place. The aubergine pickle is worth a try. I had the Exotic Biryani and it was lush. Very accommodating and lovely staff. Felt very welcome. We went a few times as we loved it that much.

Great Indian, staff very friendly and helpful. My favourite Indian dish is a murghi massala and it wasn't on the menu but the waiter very kindly had it especially made for me and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back

Didn’t receive the 15% off order when we went to pick up. Had the onion barji , samosas and prawn puri. Which was nice but nether received any sauces to go with them? Normally you get one or the other.! Mint or mango. Ended up getting the garlic chilly chicken and to be fare it was pretty bang on with the garlic rice. I think he did try sweetening me up for a return visit with a small bottle of beer.

Quite simply one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to - and to be honest we found it completely by accident. After a day at the beach we went looking for a chip shop and found one on this street, but when we saw an Indian buffet a couple of doors further up the street we decided to treat ourselves. And we're glad we did. The food was absolutely superb - served quickly, freshly-cooked, and hot, and tasted amazing. We went for the "mixed starter", assuming that would be just a small plate each, but it came on a big platter and was superb, especially the bhajis and chicken tikka pakoras. Then our main courses - again, very generous portions for a buffet, and soooooo tasty. Ice cream for dessert, and even that was much better than the standard Indian restaurant ice cream. Add to the food very welcoming, polite and attentive - but not too intrusive - staff, a very pleasant and friendly Manager and you have a real treat. Marked down by one point for the non-Indian music (just adds to the atmosphere) and the lack of parking nearby; no parking outside, so you have to go hunting for a parking space around the nearby estates. We'll definitely be back.

Ordered a take away over thru Blackpool eats app, All I can say is “WOW” ordered chicken and lamb dishes both were absolutely stunning … did not disappoint , eaten way too much now as I just couldn’t stop my self … as a fellow restauranteur I can say this was beautiful fresh, authentic food the flavours were bouncing , the lamb just melted in the mouth … brilliant quality for a take out too , especially as I ordered literally last minute before they closed …. 10 out of 10 guys thanks

Fish pakora & chicken curry(spinach) with mushroom rice = all spot on very fresh + tasty. Would have given a 5/5 but slow service,so a 4/5. Although understandably mid week only low staff. Fair price for nice tasty cozy dine curry.

Food was excellent but had to wait 20 minutes for poppodoms then another half an hour for the curry. It wasn’t very busy so can’t understand why it took so long and the curries are very expensive!!

Unable to comment about service or food. When we arrived the deal menu had finished, some negotiation the owner agreed to let us have it. Then said we can only have it if we had drinks. This enjoyed some in our party, after some debate we all left.

This place is a diamond find.. I had no idea it was in our doorstep..now I've found it,it will be our local.. we arrived for order and collection,they were busy and accommodates us in quick time. Vegan options delicious,we got %15 off the bill as collecting and they even gave us a free drink.cannot praise the staff enough they were lovely.

I was away for work and looking for a decent meal. I saw the reviews for Zest of India and booked for an early evening meal. It was outstanding! I tried the chicken pakora, onion bahji, vegetable pathia, pilau rice and naan. A lot to eat but I did not want to waste such great food. The buffet menu is a good option for an early evening meal and the initial portion was pretty big so did not need more even though I could have ordered extra in theory. The garlic naan bread and vegetable pathia were perfect - the owner also made an effort to ask how it all was and the staff were all very genuine and kind. I felt very comfortable there even dining alone and would love to return one day when back in Blackpool!

Tripadvisor : Not suitable for a romantic meal for two. More like sitting in a football pub. Roudy customers mostly surprisingly in there 50-60. 1:15 hr to get served from ordering . It came cold after expressly stating hot . Returning twice. Whilst food as flavoursome being cold niggled me. Only 4 small dices of lamb for a £60 couple meal excluding alcohol. Area is over lit and looks like the locals have taken over not appreciating others quit space . Not recommended for couples . Follow up ======== After reading there response to this, below shows disrespectful to clients. I did nicely ask and state at order please make sure hot . And it came back twice in end chief seemed angry, but after 1:hr 15 min wait then cold food . Plus haven if to listen to very noisy people for the extended period . I think couples don’t go unless your happy with a drinking night out end of evening kebab alternative.,

What an amazing place , so welcoming , such friendly staff , go above and beyond to ensure everything is spot on , worthy of more than 5 * . We had a lovely night last night at zest of india staff are so friendly and the chef and owner came out to speak to you he even went out of his way to make me a tomato sauce to accommodate that was slimming world friendly to go with my salmon the staff and food was amazing this is the best curry house in blackpool we definitely won't ne going anywhere else this is our number 1 curry house and would highly recommend zest of india
