The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

3rd time been here and will NOT be returning we arrived on time do family meal and greeted by somebody that didn’t seem to know what he was doing and that’s how the evening continued. Very poor service waited nearly 1 hour for 2 starters and the mains were 1hour 45 mins nobody seem to care when they were asked where ours is as others have had there’s who came in after us food was average think I was the only one that enjoyed mine, no smiles no apologies only just got a thanks a goodbye, toilets always seem to have some issues so a overall rubbish experience and definitely will not return

Amazing and delicious food. Authentic Indian taste! They called me especially to make sure I got the curry the way I wanted it. Definitely going the extra mile for their customers, very happy with them definitely recommended!

Fantastic food ambiance and staff - we had poppadums with pickles, chicken naga , chicken kerala with lemon rice and sag bhaji - all delicious well spiced - the best Indian we’ve eaten in a while

Visited here last night as a group of 8,was very busy and there is a reason why,the service was ok nothing special but the food was really nice ,great sized portions and very tasty,not the cheapest in the area but you get what you pay for will be back sooner rather than later

I recently tried out this Indian takeaway, and it definitely hit the spot. The food arrived hot, fresh, and full of bold, authentic flavors. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced, with tender chunks of meat that melted in the mouth. The garlic naan was fluffy with just the right amount of char, and the vegetable biryani had a lovely balance of spice and fragrance. Portion sizes were generous — more than enough for leftovers the next day. Delivery was quick, and everything was neatly packed. The only downside? I wish I'd ordered more samosas. Crispy, golden, and packed with flavor — they were gone in seconds. If you're craving a solid Indian meal from the comfort of home, this spot is a win. Highly recommend!

Top quality food, there is no better Asian takeaway; shame there is no delivery service as that is the only factor that holds it back.

Good quality food. Full of flavour and the lamb was tender. Have ordered on few occasions and will continue to order from this takeaway.

We have been to Elachi multiple times now. We love the food and the service is great! Biryani, Naga Chicken and railway beef are excellent. Decor is also very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Yet another mouthwatering, tasty curry from the fabulous curry inn. We feel very fortunate to have this great curry house on our doorstep. I had the chicken and mushroom tawa. Matt had the special chicken keema bahar. Excellent value for money. Well recommended.

This is the best meal we've had out in a while. The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the selection of curry (that the chef chooses) and each one was amazing. The food is such good value that we tried different items from the menu and totally overindulged! Brilliant service and excellent value for money. It was quite quiet in there for a Saturday night which I found unbelievable. The people of Stone don't know what they're missing!

We called at 5.40pm to place an order. They didn’t pickup for 45 mins of repeat calling. We eventually drove 8 minutes from our village to place our order in person at 6.30pm. (We really wanted a curry!) We were told the wait would be 45 mins. The phone rung repeatedly when I was was in there, being ignored. I arrived back to collect at 7.15, already a bit peeved that I was driving there for a second time. Deliveroo, this is not! My order came out at 8.20, pushing two hours since the original order. There were multiple others waiting in the tandoori house who were clearly experiencing a similar issue. No mention of a discount or free portion of anything, which might have appeased some frustrated customers. Also no updates through the process of how long I might be waiting, which should be straightforward. I would have cancelled, gone to wait in the pub, ordered a beer, or any other option better than sitting stewing on a hungry stomach. I arrived home and the curry was good. Everything seemed tasty and I couldn’t fault what I ended up with, but the process was ruined by the delay, and the lack of apparent empathy from staff who didn’t even reference that what we had experienced was unusual or disappointing. I bit my tongue and left without losing my sh*t.

Made our regular visit to Chilli’s and as always excellent service and great food. Kam and his team are very friendly, welcoming and professional. We’ve been very very many times and never had a poor meal or service in fact every visit is amazing. This is our regular go to restaurant locally especially with the very varied choices of dishes. The best Indian restaurant we know. Definitely recommend and will be returning

We ate at this restaurant last night. Both the food and service were great. The staff were attentive. Mother-in-law said it was the best Indian she had ever had. Will definitely return.

Excellent fresh Indian cuisine prepared within short reasonable time. Available for take away or collect. Very tasty accompaniments.
