We’ve been dining out for ages. Foods always beautiful, friendly staff. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to. Interiors a bit simple but I think that’s the style they’re going for. Would highly recommend dining in

Really good choice of curries and both of the ones we had were really tasty. Can also recommend the onion bhajis and naans. Exceptional value especially if you go for the set offer. It is take your own alcohol but there is an off licence next door if you've forgotten to bring your own. The waiting staff were very attentive whilst also respecting your space. Definitely somewhere we will return to.

Really nice as always, our only complaint was the naan breads were a bit stale & hard like cardboard in places, but they’re normally spot on so we’ll put that down to a one off

Booked a table of 6 had chicken/lamb korma's mango chicken and chicken jalfrezi lamb tikka masala boiled rice pilau rice onion bhajis .. food was absolutely delicious service was great lovely place to eat .. definitely will come again highly recommended

Brought a takeaway from here butter chicken and parotta and tandoori chicken. We so disappointed and unsatisfied with the food. The butter chicken was too sweet. Partita was hard and not what they said on the menu of being traditional. Tandoori chicken had a lot of food colouring it was literally blood red. All of this was £37 and definitely not worth it. Never going back, would not recommend.

I have been to some of the best Indian restaurants in Sheffield including the Zeenat restaurant and the Indus restaurant in Attercliffe in Sheffield and the Khans restaurant on West Street in Sheffield and I have to say that the Spice Room Restaurant & Takeaway in Darfield is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in this area. Our meal tonight arrived on time and was piping hot and so tasty and delicious. The staff listened to our instructions that we left in the notes and the delivery staff are so polite and friendly. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Spice Room for another wonderful tasty meal. Keep up the good work because it it much appreciated by us. I made some typo errors on my last review that I left for the Spice Room which I couldn't edit so I have done it again and that is why it appears twice.

Had a takeaway so dissipointed I couldn't eat in. The food was fantastic. Definitely going soon again.

2 prawn for 5.95 , spent 29 pounds for rubbish. everything absolutely rubbish. don't get anything from here. rang up but fob off. shocking service and when rang up fob off. please don't have anything from here. don't care about food and service.

the lamb curry was awful inedible. the prawn starter had the shells on .the peshawar nan was like rubber no taste at all was never a peshawar nan. £37 spent on absolute garbage never go here again🤬🤬🤬🤬

We experienced an issue with our order tonight because it was Valentines evening so the restaurant was extremely busy so we contacted Just Eat who were useless as just because it stated that our order had been delivered when it hadn't Just Eat would not do anything about it which was not very good at all so we contacted Spice Room directly who rectified our issue for us straight away which was great so basically cut out the middle man meaning ( don't order through Just Eat as they are useless at sorting issues with orders out ) and if you want a good service just order from Spice Room directly in my opinion and save yourself the service fee. Thank you so much for resolving our issue with our order tonight in the end Spice Room we really appreciate it and even though we didn't have a great experience tonight because you were very busy because it was Valentines night we will have every faith in ordering with you again in the future, thanks again.

The garlic chicken was very salty but other items were okay.

Read all the reviews that stated the food was great, ordered a chicken tikka and lamb tikka. Both came with only a few bits of meat and the worst sauce we've ever had, we couldn't even eat jalf it was that bad never again

Chicken in dishes was nice but just surrounded by sauce. No substance to it. No chunky onions or peppers etc.

We received our order but unfortunately we received the wrong food. After speaking with them they were very apologetic and we received our correct order within 30 minutes. The food was delicious and we have not been put off from ordering again. Would highly recommend

Food very late - we kept ringing and staff kept telling us it would be with us in 15mins. This went on for over an hour. When food did arrive it was very nice however.

The curry we odered was a korma and It came spicy as anything u could smell how hot the curry was I’ve never complained before and usually oder from you but we got the complete different curry, I’ve called the shop multiple times and I have also been in they said I would be refunded and still nothing 2 weeks later that night we ordered from somewhere els as we couldn’t eat what you had brought us

Food was cold and potion size was a joke £11 for a prawn main course counted 4 prawn talk about feeling ripped off I will not order from here again poor show

Food was around an hour late. Ordered at 7pm arrived around 9pm. Food was cold and had to warm stuff up in the air fryer. This was our go to Indian but not anymore!

I have never had a bad meal from here but the onion bhajis today were exceptional, i could happily just sit and stuff my face with a plateful. Everything else Chicken Panshi bhindi bhaji, naan and rice was spot on as usual.

The worse attitude and customer service from a delivery driver ive ever had in my life. The driver needs sacking. He was not bothered at all. Such a poor attitude to a customer. Not a good look for the restaurant. I usually pick it up and probably will next time.

Everything is expensive & the portion sizes aren't very big. The mains are all sauce with barely any meat in them

Chicken tikka masala was watery with bit of chicken no flavour, never order again

Food tastes fantastic and was early which was a nice surprise, but the portion sizes aren't great. Way too much sauce compared to chicken in the curries, and starters are tiny.

Butter chicken and chicken tikka was very tasty. Food arrived on time and hot! Would order again.

The food is just really poor. Have to say this is the worst I’ve ever had. It may be because I’ve had quality Indian cuisine so I really really noticed how poor it was . Sorry to say but I feel it warrants a honest review.

Meal seemed over priced for what we got for a takeaway and not as described we ordered the house special not a prawn in sight in one disb and a lot more spicy than advertised
