Ordered a take away from here tonight it’s our first time trying and will definitely be back everything has been amazing the taste of the food and the portion sizes for the price are definitely worth every penny

Racist? Ordered from here for the 2nd night in a row. New Year’s Eve. Busy. Bit of a wait. Don’t mind that at all. What I do mind, and what I do find really odd, is how everyone in front of me got a complimentary dairy box of chocolates and I didn’t? Tbh, I couldn’t care less about the chocolates but if you’re offering them to every customer for NY well wishes, why are you seemingly being selective? What’s also funny is… I was the only guy of colour in the shop and get treated like that. Barely made eye contact whilst serving me. Felt bad for going in!? Even more awkward in a room full of people. What sort of message are you trying to portray? Really, really odd. Won’t be ordering again. Out of town customer now lost. Terrible customer service and extremely questionable and discriminatory behaviour. Very uncomfortable experience.

Food was half cold, it said collection was at 6:45, I was stood almost 20 extra minutes waiting - please don’t say it’s ready to collect when it’s not just for your order times. The food was blander than usual, great naan though.

If you are prepared to wait, the food is amazing

Wasnt really hot was luke warm and it wasnt like any other typical tikka masala was really Mild and creamy

Excellent food without a doubt, but service always slow even with a phone order you have to wait longer than they said, and trying to get front of house to pay, you have to wait because he's in kitchen, so even food Excellent, service very poor, will use else where after using them for last couple of years

Massive avoid for me. They are on just eat but shouldn’t be and should be removed for abusing the service. They cancelled my order just for using account credit on just eat which is allowed. Disgusting service.

Why are you listed on just eat if you don’t take the orders any more? They claim because I used some account credit? This is allowed. Just eat should remove you guys from the service. Very bad service, I will never be returning

Haven't been for a while but ordered 2 meals last night, both of which were horrible. This place used to be the best but I can honestly say I won't be going again.

One of, if not the best currys is in barnsley, after being to various places, this is the best by far.

Known one of the guys who works here for years ever since he worked elsewhere. Won’t name him or the other place but he was and is still excellent in his service. Even though I’m not local, Little India has been my go to curry house for a few years. Why? Never had a bad one! It’s consistently of high quality and reasonably priced as well. 10/10.

We generally get takeout every other week,We love the Kashmiri chicken tikka sagg it’s just so tasty,The Bombay aloo is great too ,Nan and rice fab ,only slightly down Tarka dhal is a bit runny. Forgot to take a photo as I was too hungry 😉

Not as good as usual. Been coming here for about a decade or so, usually amazing. No garlic on the garlic naan, they were just plain + food less flavourful than usual + given ghobi aloo instead of cauliflower bhaji. Review isn't to give the place a bad name because I know full well it's amazing and 5 star, just a bit miffed

Live local, but never used them and lots say its very good. Ordered on line and picked up all good, the wifes chicken chat did not come with sauce or salad and nan bread and chicken korma cold - Tried once , failed me - Never again, this was on 11th November 2023

These guys can cook! I have had three different dishes from them: signature, biryana & sag and they were some of the best Indian meals I have ever had. Can easily taste/see why they have won so many awards year on year.

A great curry, lots of flavour, plenty of chicken and overall a great meal.

Staff were helpful in identifying that my order would travel better with all the items being placed in a box rather than a carrier bag. Food quality was generally good with a wonderful balance of flavours, although the Onion bhajis were slightly greasy. Although a few minutes late arriving to collect the order, there was still a wait for the order to be completed. None of the issues mentioned would stop me from ordering here again & certainly one of the best in my locality.

This is the best quality Indian in Barnsley. Every time we order we are always impressed with the quality of food. The food is always hot and of a high standard and the staff are always polite when we pick up our order.

Bhuna had lots of tender chicken but vegetables, peppers were undercooked for my liking.

Amazing food, best Indian in the area by far. However, our order wasn’t actually ready for another 40 minutes after we got the notification/text through to say it was ready to collect, rather not spend an our sat in a warm waiting area for that amount of time

This is usually my favourite Indian in Barnsley however they no longer do lamb tikka which is sad as I don't really like eating non free range and I know the lamb is always pasture fed. Also my last meal wasn't as flavorful as usual. Hopefully it was just a blip.

Lazy man dinner when you can't be bothered to cook! Always very well cooked & tasty. The best onion bhajis anywhere! Nice blokes to talk to as well. Excellent.

Really tasty food - as always. Very busy so collection time was around 10 minutes later - we were given the wrong order and left before we realised. I phoned the restaurant and they were very apologetic and said that they had attempted to follow us out to give us the correct order. Issue resolved promptly and our food was waiting for us 5 minutes later.

Food lovely, collection time a little behind what was given but fine. But missing items and when requested refund wouldn’t give me a refund as I collected and therefore should go through my entire order in the shop?? Done with just eat! Good bye!

This is the Indian I have been searching for. Fabulous food, order online or by phone and ready when expected. The best curry I’ve had in years and worth the drive from Wakefield (7 miles). It’s also great value, so that’s Saturday nights sorted. Keep up the good work.

For some bizarre reason they wont deliver so having driven across town to pick our food up we get home to find it`s the wrong order, never again!

Curry was nice, but called at 18:15 requesting for 19:15 for collection and then an additional 30 minutes to collect, this seems to be an issue every time with this place,

I have no complaints over the food quality it was delicious, but I ordered what was supposed to be "very hot sauce " which was mild at best so was disappointed. But was very nice, and will order again, maybe over phone so I get what I want this time.

What a fantastic takeaway meal. Excellent onion bhaji starter with great salad and raita. Chicken makhani was so flavoursome with really big pieces of succulent chicken breast. Pilaf rice to compliment. Excellent food.

Received a text at 17:59pm saying food was ready to collect but at 6:25pm we was still waiting for the food to come out. Arrived home to find the 3 pilau rice were actually boiled rice and more worryingly a long piece of metal was in my bhuna! Almost got stuck inbetween my teeth! Looks like it’s from a wire brush (perhaps washing up one?). This has completely put me off ordering from Little India again!!

By far and away the best Indian in the area but because of that you do have to be prepared for a wait for collection due to popularity; particularly at weekends, but worth the patience.

Fit for a king! 🤤 I had to drive a bit to go get it which I’ve never done before, but I have always wondered why there were no really good curry places near to me. Now I know why: there’s no point trying to compete with this place. The waiting room was crammed with people who figured that out before I did. They seem really popular, congratulations to them. We’ll be back!

Poor quality food in my opinion; wouldn't revisit. Chicken was very dried out and sauce too greasy. Avoid.

This is hands down thee most professional and clean takeaway I have ever been to. The food is amazing and clearly made with care, skill and quality ingredients! I usually get the Chicken Pathia.. I highly recommend. 🥰🥰

We fancied trying somewhere different for a change to our regular. At first it was looking promising place very busy, reviews great - the food was piping hot, the onion bhajis were gorgeous, nice big portions, chips great, keema rice very nice But unfortunately the actual curries let the meal down. Lacking in flavour and very bland compared to our regular Dilshad. I guess there is a reason why it’s known as the best in Barnsley. Shame as I had high hopes it could be our new regular.

Outstanding Indian food. Big portions, quick, friendly sevice. A cut above the normal Indian take-away. There's nuance in the spices and the meat is always first class. Amrad and his team's attention to detail in food and service is second to none.

Absolutely lovely. One of the best indian takeaways I ever had, 2nd best probably which is amazing. Very flavourful and you can taste the ingredients are fresh and good quality, really good. Half an hour drive from where I live, but definitely will be coming back, as it's worth it. Also the place seems really clean and the service is very professional and polite, 100% recommend. I ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic rice (garlic rice not on the menu but they still sell it).

Fantastic food pick up and still lovely and warm when we got home nothing was missing which is always a bonus when collecting food as suffered a lot in past with other delivery places staff nice and friendly and always smiling I think had I had an issues they would have been sorted prompt and Without an issue however cannot say I have had any issues in the past lovely great food

Been using this restaurant/takeaway for a long time now, and they never disappoint. You can always rely on these guys when you're in the mood for an Indian takeaway. Will always be back for more.

Lovely tender chicken and beautiful king prawns

Went out of my way to collect the order instead of having it delivered as I heard this was a great place having won awards. My meal was below average to poor, and I’m quite disappointed. Everything lacked seasoning and any depth of flavour. The naan was tough and not freshly made, probably a day old. Chicken in the starter was dry and chewy. Main was ok, but nothing special by any means. The rice, again, under seasoned and lacking flavour. Their Tarka Daal was the worst I’ve had. Yellowy slop. Bland and uninteresting would be a kind way to put it, and absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. Was like they boiled some lentils and blended it in the water it was boiled in, done. Not going to bother again, as there is far far better Indian food available in the area delivered to your doorstep.
