I usually eat in this restaurant and it has always delivered fantastic food, excellent and friendly service in a friendly environment. Today I decided to try a collect. The ordering process was easy. The email confirmation of order stated 20 mins wait. I pitched up in 18 mins - it was ready. When I got home the food was hot and delicious. No loss in quality.

Excellent! I've eaten at their sister restaurant the Bhurj Swindon too - also fantastic. The chicken lollipops are a must have, but I haven't eaten a single thing there I didn't thoroughly enjoy. And the mango kulfi is really creamy and flavourful. 10/10 recommend!

Even though this is walking distance from our home we don’t go here enough but after the latest meal we had, we will definitely visit more often. My son had the tandoori mixed grill, my wife had the passanda and I had the butter chicken done to a madras strength and all was amazing. Reasonable prices too and great service but the curries are so tasty that I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Visited with family members who were staying at a nearby hotel. The restaurant was very busy and noisy. The food was average. Portions were good. Waiting staff were very busy and we had to ask several times for tap water.

No flavour, bland food. The restaurant was freezing and the waiter argued with us and other tables that the heating was on when it wasn’t. Stay away from the chicken tikka masala!!!

We have visited the Raj several times and it’s our favourite spot for lunch. The food is always tasty and fresh and the service is always excellent . My husband’s favourite is the Tandori mixed grill. Thank you for a great visit as always

Located a short walk from the Village Hotel where we have been staying, we decided to visit the Raj for an early evening meal. Although a little more pricy than our local Indian restaurants, we could not fault the quality and presentation of the food we ordered. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Easily the best Indian in Swindon. Have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaway from this establishment many times now. Food amazing, staff attentive... nothing is too much trouble. Have recommended to family and friends of which none have been disappointed.. Definitely our 'go to' place for true authentic Indian food.

Stopped off on a whim on the way home from a day out. Was a busy Saturday night & some tables were rowdy. Service was slow but all was forgiven when the food arrived because it was absolutely delicious. 4 different main courses, rice and breads, all of it excellent. Hope to be back sometime.

Well this has been my first and last visit here. Food took an hour to arrive and when we got it it was mediocre, warm not hot and all a bit meh. Sag aloo was probably the best out of the five dishes. Tikka masala was thick with cream and very heavy really didn’t like it. Was waiting so long our drinks were empty and had to several times call for a waiter. I nearly rang the restaurant from our table for service. Sorry but never again!!!!

Wouldn’t return. Very expensive for the quality of food we received. Staff pleasant though and polite. changed my starter which wasn’t edible. The main was better but chewy chicken - just can get better for your money elsewhere.

Curry arrived so liquefied it was like soup with chicken bits in. Mint Yogurt dip was awful had such a funny taste! We couldn’t eat it. After spending over £50 on just two of us it was most definitely disappointing. Would never buy again!

Live near but never visited much but that has all changed. Had takeaway last night and it was the best we ever had. Food and flavours were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. The Raj will now be our go to restaurant. Definitely recommend.
