I was so looking forward to eating here, heard so much about it. Mothers day booking. 3 of us ate. When we walked in, I observed how large and bright the restaurant was (7.45pm booking). Our table was in the middle, and so felt a little like a canteen, with the lighting quite bright, it did not feel like a special evening meal. We started with poppadom's, we did not ask for the chutney tray, but it was delivered and charged for. (no other restaurant has ever charged us for this). I did see it was on the menu at a cost of £2.50. But we did not order it. The food was very nice, quality of the chicken was really nice, probably some of the best I have ever eaten. While we were eating I received an email from the restaurant saying, while they appreciate plans can change, it would have been appreciated if we could not make the reservation to give them notice. We were literally sitting in the restaurant eating!!!! Overall, I felt the restaurant lacked atmosphere, service and all the waiting staff gave an atmosphere of being rushed, and overall I felt it was a little on the pricey side. I probably would not re visit, and use a more local restaurant. I was disappointed with our visit here.

LO MEJOR! Lleva años y sin duda el mejor curry de Sheffield. Personal amable, porciones generosas, buena relación calidad-precio. No iría a ninguna otra parte, si no hubieras sido imprescindible. No me gusta decirle a mucha gente lo bueno que es ya que me preocupa no conseguir una mesa : ) ¡Fabuloso!

I didn't have the food but it was clear it was very popular. Great bar staff, friendly and a great atmosphere 👍

One of the worst takeaways to date. Absolutely gutted. After reading the reviews we thought there would be no issues. Here visiting for a few days and last min delivery order. The nan breads were horrendous…congealed mess stuffed into small foil bags. I’ve never seen such weight of a nan bread in one small bag. Such a shame we didn’t even want to eat them. The tandoori mixed grill was something from my local fish and chip shop not an Indian restaurant. Just be careful for takeaway as I’m sure eating in wouldn’t be as bad…but I’m just giving a heads up as 90% of my order is in the bin. Gutted

Went first time for a family weekend dining based on reviews provided but it was utter disappointment. No proper cutlery served we had to ask twice, drinking glasses felt not properly dishwashed - stain and marks on the glass , soft drinks ordered without ice was completely warm no even refrigerated. Meat platter Starters ordered were just lightly lukewarm not even piping hot and was very dry served without chutney which is not a common gesture. I was hugely disappointed for my spending on not to the mark expectations...

We hadn't been for a while, but as we remembered we had enjoyed it, took a family member there before heading off to the subrooms on a Saturday evening. We weren't disappointed. Friendly service, delicious food. The Pawa is amazing. Only minor point is that we would have had coffee and been tempted by desert, but waiter didn't return after clearing main course and we ran out of time before our gig, (and we would have thought there was plenty of time) Highly recommended. PS website states will deliver up to 4 miles. We live 3.5 mile away up the valley, but putting our address in we are advised 'don't deliver here' Shame but I think waistband and wallet relieved. Maybe a list of villages would help?
