Indian Queen in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We booked a table online very last minute and they were able to accommodate. We were away on holiday and were recommended to give this place a try. Parking isn’t great so I would go early to find a space. We took our 2 children and were greeted by very friendly staff. Drinks are very expensive for what they are and they do not serve alcohol so take your own if you want beer/wine. The food was amazing and I must recommend the naan breads! The keema naan was the best I have ever tasted. The mains are big enough to share between 2. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

We visited here recently whilst on holiday in Cornwall. The food was good, I had a chicken balti which came with a naan (which I must say was the best naan I think I've ever had) and my husband had one of the specials which came with rice. The kids shared a tikka masala with a side of chips. We also shared a chips and a garlic naan. Whilst the food was really good, I do think that £75 for 3 Currys, 2 chips, 4 cokes, a naan and 4 poppadoms is really expensive, but this is Cornwall so I guess prices here are not what they are local to where we live. Had I known you could take your own drinks I would've saved myself £14 on 4 330ml cokes.

Excellent food! We had a takeaway staying at the nearby White Acres Holiday Park. Quick collection time and really friendly staff, most importantly it was decent food 5*

Don't bother. The place had no alcohol licence, the food we ordered was terrible and served with sauce probably for a bulk can. The decor was dull and in need of refurbishment. Where we were seated the wall had several dents in it as if there had been a fight on the corner and the plaster was missing. However the service was polite and prompt, but value for money was very poor.

Very poor they got a delivery driver working and can't do a delivery less than half a mile away. Due to traffic lights. Nobody sat In the restaurant. No wonder it's quite in there

Cant rate this establishment highly enough. Tasty food with a nice atmosphere, called up last minute and had no problem accommodating us. Best Peshwari Naan we’ve ever had, we ordered two curries and two sides. Chicken unbelievably tender. Bellies were bursting so we grabbed food containers and took some leftovers home to ugly eat later in bed. Bring your own booze, better than spending an extra 30 quid on overpriced drinks. It was nice to watch everyone pour in with crates of beer and bottles of wine. Staff are very friendly, our sever chased us to the door to open it for me. Very nice place. Defiantly will be back!

Came for a meal for Mother's Day, we have been once before and enjoyed it. Was not disappointed tonight! Stunning food and the service was top notch. Will definitely be back and will even be looking to order take away.

We attended for a Sunday dinner for Mother’s Day, the table service was excellent, all staff were very professional, polite. The food has to be the best Indian food I’ve had in Cornwall! I’ve left with a smile on my face and full stomach. Already looking forward to returning again soon for more.

This is our favourite Indian takeaway, 10/10 food, delivery in good timing. 100% recommend to anyone after an authentic Indian.

What a fantastic place, food was all absolutely amazing great flavours and amazing value £16.95 each. For this you get a starter a main a vegetable side dish and either rice or a nan bread. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive friendly staff, add in bring your own alcohol it just makes it so much cheaper than going to the pub to eat average food with overpriced drinks. The only negative I could point out was my partners chicken korma the sauce could of been a little thicker but the chicken was spot on. Can't wait to go back again soon

This is the third time I’ve been to the Indian Queen so I thought I’d better leave a review. The decor is clean neat and tidy and the tables and chairs were simply done. The main thing is that the food was delicious, we’re not exactly adventurous with spicy food so I had a chicken tikka masala and my wife had a korma with onion bhaji’s poppadoms and nann bread. They are doing a special deal at the moment so it was great value for money too. The staff are really friendly and helpful so we’ll be going back again with another couple.

I've been to many Indian restaurants in and around Birmingham, Since moving to Cornwall a while ago, I was always worried about getting a decent curry then I found this little gem . Absolutely lovely curries , the dining area is absolutely spotless ,staff are very attentive and very knowledgeable about what they serve you , overall a real indian experience, my number one spot for an Indian without a doubt

Me and boyfriend live about 45 minutes away and we make the 1.5 hour journey about once every two weeks for a takeaway and it is beyond worth it! We’ve spent the past 2 years trying to find an Indian restaurant/takeaway and we’ve found the jackpot. I always have a chicken madras which is flavoursome as well as spicy which is rare in most places. The food is always ready at the time we’ve selected to pick up, we’re never waiting around. The staff are always lovely, polite and helpful too! :)

We have tried a number of Indian restaurants around the Newquay area and have finally managed to find one that is worth a return visit. Coming from near Bradford where we are blessed with any number of great Indian restaurants we have always been disappointed with the places we have tried up to now. The Indian Queen food and service means we now have the option of enjoying a good Indian meal on our regular visits to Newquay to see family. Our only criticisms are there is a hint of sweetness in some of the dishes and this includes the raita sauce which is a bit odd on the taste buds! Overall the food is good and the value is excellent plus they have a loyalt card scheme so you get rewarded for return visits. Mohammed and his team are very friendly and attentive so give it a try yourselves.

We visited here while staying at the Retallack resort on the 1st of January as a family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) Excellent service, great food, lovely friendly staff. Couple of things to note when visiting the restaurant, the restaurant only serves soft drinks, no problem at all for us but useful to know, and the children’s menu is the same as the adults (we went for a round of Kormas for the children and they went down a treat (kids aged 2 - 10) Really enjoyable, relaxed meal - would highly recommend (they also do take away and delivery) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are staying at the nearby Retallack resort and spa and ordered an Indian to be delivered. It arrived at our lodge in good time, at a perfect temperature and was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if in the area.

Tried a takeaway £40 from here.The Garlic Chilli lamb dish was cooked with pickled chillies and with no spices or very little so ended up with onions and tomato curry that didn’t taste very good at all Would not order from here again
