Yasmin in Bromley

Had dinner at Yasmin on Wednesday night and what a treat it was. Food was delicious. Cannot fault any of the dishes and all very tasty and nicely presented. Service was very hospitable and first class. We liked the look of the restaurant too and the bill for a delicious dinner seemed very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended.

We have been regular customers of Yasmins since 1996. The staff are so friendly and food great. We even went on Xmas day twice and plan to go again. A great local restaurant 😀😀

I have been out of the district for several years and after dining here in 2016 with my wife, this week I ate here again with 5 ex work colleagues. The atmosphere even on a weekday evening was busy and and friendly - the food was just as good as I remember and the service brilliant . The free Brandy and Cointreau after we had settled the bill was the icing on the cake! Thank you to all staff - we will be returning in February for another 'Old Boys' catch - up!

Excellent food, excellent service. The food was spicy, fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly, and they even threw in a complimentary drink. An amazing restaurant and the best Indian in Bromley, if not south London.

My family and I (8) arrived at Yasmin's today for a buffet. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that due to covid they changed their usual Buffett, to a banqueting style meal option. This way there is less wasted food too! It was amazing and hot, freshly made and plentiful (we had to take some home- there was so much)!! You get to choose a starter, mains, vegetable side and rice/naan - all for 14.95. I am South Asian and I find it's hard to find a real authentic Indian, where the food is cooked from scratch, tastes good and is reasonablely priced. YASMIN is that but the food is not just good, it's exceptional. The manager and his staff are friendly, accomdating and willing to go the extra mile. Thank you for being accomdating with my kids and this needs.

Took my Mum and kids there for Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day. The tandoori mixed grill arrived sizzling and tasted amazing. My daughter especially loved the spicy sausage. My son said it was one of the best restaurants he has ever been too. The “30” special dish was delicious and something really special I would heartily recommend going here and will definitely return.

Ordered some food from here and the food was delicious. From taking my order to delivering my food, everyone was so friendly. Definitely will be ordering again.

Hi I went to this great restaurant last night for the first time and was totally impress with the food and the service. A proper curry. The starter platter was very generous portion and the Lamb Shank was superb. Will be going back soon

Always use this place. It’s great. Today is extra special though as I was really hungry and they delivered to me in under 15 minutes and the food was perfect. Fantastic as always especially that on a Friday night they could make sure their regular customers are valued too

I used to use this place quite often however I noticed the curry’s were not upto standard, this evening the 2 curry dish where taste less the tikka masala was very sweet & the sauce was very runny the chicken was tough, the prawn dish was taste less, however the popadoms was fresh and the bread was nice. If you look forward to a good curry then avoid this place.

Have always heard good things about Yasmins. Ordered a takeaway in lockdown to try it out for the first time.It was a large order for 6 people and we all ordered different dishes.I arrived at the allotted time and everything was ready.The restaurant was lovely and clean and the staff were very warm and friendly.The food was still hot when I got home with it and I live 20 min away .The food was very good. Everyone was impressed with their meals. I would recommend Yasmins. Even got a discount for collecting it and the price was ery reasonable . Thankyou Yasmins

Both takeaway and eat in is fantastic. We can not get enough if this place. Since lockdown we been ordering from them and I can say it is definitely restaurant quality food on takeaway. We miss going to the place though, but at least we can still have delivery. Thanks Arif and the whole team.

Hemos estado visitando este restaurante durante al menos 18 años cada vez que visitamos a familiares que viven cerca. El personal siempre es acogedor y servicial: hemos traído a nuestros hijos aquí desde que eran bebés hasta la adolescencia. La comida es excelente. Para algo un poco diferente recomendaría el pollo de Zamora (con naranjas en la salsa). Esta vez disfrutamos de entrantes de puri de gambas, samosa de carne y verduras y aperitivos mixtos. Los platos principales incluían madras, pollo tandoori y un especial de ajo y chile tandoori (recomendado por nuestro camarero y muy sabroso). El único inconveniente de este lugar son los refrescos. Se sirven con botellas de 2 litros en lugar de con bomba y no siempre están frías. Aparte de eso, la comida y el servicio son excelentes.

I was so pleased with Yasmins’ emphasis on social distancing given the current situation. All staff where masks as appropriate, yet this does not compromise the quality of the service or food. Thank you guys.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar desde aquí hace unas semanas, fue muy agradable, ¡así que decidimos probar y comer en él! ¡Dios mío, mi pollo estaba crudo! Luego nos dijeron que precocinaban pollo por la mañana. Teníamos popadoms en la mesa con el chutney habitual y esas cosas cuando llegamos para luego averiguar cuándo recibiste la factura, ¡nos habían cobrado por ellos aunque no los pedimos! Nunca he estado en una casa de curry, ¡has tenido que pagar por esto antes! En general, el personal no fue muy servicial y terminó pagando por un pollo que no pude comer. Además, comerlo es un 50% más caro que comer para llevar. ¡No volveremos aquí!

Siempre usamos yasmin y le dimos buenas críticas, sin embargo, debido a la distancia que dejamos de tomar para llevar, anoche pedimos una comida para llevar (ya que no podemos encontrar una buena casa de curry localmente en Sidcup) el sabor de la comida estaba bien pero el pollo era terrible, era duro como las botas viejas (precocinadas, creo), mi esposo luego dijo que recordaba no ir allí por eso, todo parecía haber cambiado desde que el anciano dueño dejó de correrlo

We have recently moved back into Bromley after moving out about 4 years ago. We have missed Yasmin’s so much as it was our go-to Indian every week. The service and food is still as great as it was back then but a few new faces we didn’t recognise. As I said everything was spot on but we missed Taz’ company who always made our dining experience amazing.

This is our favourite curry takeaway. The food is absolutely delicious . The service is outstanding and they always cater for our very fussy needs. We normally order takeaway with a group of family and friends. We have also eaten at the restaurant many times and the staff are so friendly and they treat you like family. They are very attentive. Nothing beats restaurant quality food delivered to your door. I highly recommend this place for both eat in and especially the takeaway. Thank you Yasmin.

Estaba furioso como te puedes imaginar y no volveré a usar el Yasmin a pesar de que hemos estado usando este restaurante durante algún tiempo, me alegro de haber encontrado el otro restaurante en Petts Wood porque la comida era mejor, así como el precio, así que resultó Nos hicieron un favor. Prueba el restaurante en madera Petts, muy amable y muy buena comida. .

La calidad de la comida y el servicio definitivamente ha disminuido en los últimos meses.

Every time we visit this wonderful place with its private parking, we are treated with a warm welcome and a great sense of humour by the brilliant Imran. It is a bright environment where contemporary meets retro so feels refreshing with its wood floors white smart table linen against rustic walls and authentic shades.

I cannot recall ever having to walk out of a restaurant in disgust before, but this new experience was brought to us on Saturday 9th February. A group of 4 of us had booked a table for 8 p.m. and we arrived bang on time. The place was crowded, indeed overcrowded, as so many tables have been packed in there was no where left to go. We had to wait around 20-25 minutes, standing amongst the diners, until a table became free. We ordered drinks and popadoms and these arrived in due course but it was some time before the waiter came to take our food order. There was still no sign of our starters by 9:10 pm so one of our party went and asked what was happening. Another 10 minutes, still no food, so she asked again. She had no sooner got back to the table when the starters arrived. It became apparent that the food was cold and so we called the waiter back to advise him of this. He was dismissive and said it could not be cold as he had only just taken it from the oven. I have no doubt what had actually happened was our order had been overlooked and left to sit for who-knows-how long. By this time we had been there an hour and a half so we told them to forget it and we left. Luckily another Indian restaurant that we frequent was able to take us and they had the professionalism to have drinks, starters and the main course served within half an hour of our arrival.

A group of friends have been going to Yasmin every January for many years for their amazing Kulchi Banquet. Incredible food, beautifully prepared, it’s a must-do if you love Indian food as we do. Order 48 hours in advice.

A lovely family friendly restaurant. I have been here several times with both family and friends. Each time I have walked away with a, smile on my face. The food was great and the drinks were always kept topped up. Very impressed.

We have used the Yasmin Tandoori for nearly 30 years. Our kids, and now our grandchildren, love it. Food, ambience and service have always been exceptional. We hope it continues for many years to come.

Very disappointed to say the least! We’ve eaten here for years and always had amazing food! On New Year’s Eve we we told there was only a set menu for £34 per head,which wasn’t that great and definitely not worth the money! Only to find out that every other table got offered the A La Carte menu aswell !!!!! Very upset and feel very let down.

This restaurant opened 31 years ago and our family has sampled its food for all that time. We have tried other Indian restaurants but have always returned to Yasmin as the food is so good.

Realy Great food, (and I travel in India, with Indians, couple of times a year), attentive but not obtrusive serive, nice ambiance and exceptional value - esp with complimentary liccure, what more could you want? Great company and we had that.

Been using this restuarant for many years, but have to say its gone down hill, ordered a curry today and have to say it was one of the worst curries ive had absolutely no flavour very bland. Can only think they have a new chef such a shame from a once top quality restaurant

I have been visiting this Indian for years, went tonight and didn’t recognize any of the usual staff and the food was not good I can only imagine that it has changed owners since I last came such a disappointment.

We visited Yasmin after driving pass for years, we booked a table and were welcomed with hand shakes and smiling staff. We were sited and offered drinks and poppadum's.

I came here with my family for a nice dinner out. We were consistently pushed to order more and more when we didn’t want to when we just wanted to eat in peace.

My partner is very fussy about his food and dislikes most local restaurants . He likes Indian Essence in Petts Wood but really doesn’t rate other local Indians .

Ordered a takeaway for the family while visiting relatives. As it was a Friday evening thought it may take a while but was delivered within 1/2 hour. Dished out for the family and was impressed that the portions were sufficient sized for all. The food itself was very good. Generally tend to steer clear of Indian as they tend to be too spicy hot but this was the exception. No head sweating and just delicious flavor after flavor. Very impressed. Probably the best Indian I have ever had.

Luckily this is my local restaurant and I regularly use them for takeaways. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious. Everything from the Aloos to Naan's, my mouth is watering now thinking about those delicate and balanced flavours. And 10% off if you collect!! Highly recommended.

I've been to Yasmin quite a few times because me and my college friends love Indian food. I'm a vegan so I usually ask for special types of curry (dansak, korma and saag are my favorites). They go for the meaty options and they are always satisfied. Service is quite fast, the restaurant is clean and with nice decoration, and it is on a well located area in Bromley.My last challenge was to take my girlfriend last week to this place. She knows nothing about Indian food, so I wanted to see a reaction from a person who's not used to this food... Spoiler alert: she LOVED it and now she's addicted to this place. Guess I have one more reason to visit Yasmin on a weekly basis.

This restaurant is amazing the food was quality the service first class. There was eight of us with quite a few children, but we were made to feel welcomed straight away. They were even kind enough to warm up baby food for my 9 month son. I will definately go again and would highly recommend.

I went with my friends to this place on Friday night and we were so delighted with the quality and the taste of the food! The taste of the Chicken Masala was probably the best I've ever tasted and the Garlic Naan just melted in my mouth. Rest of us were very happy with their choices as well. We all had a fantastic time and the staff could't be friendlier ;). Definitely it will be our regular Indian place from now on.

I've just returned from this restaurant and I don't usually write reviews but I feel that in this case there is a need. This restaurant was recommended by a friend as it was a last minute birthday meal arrangement for Mum's 58th. I have to say that the food, service and ambience was absolutely spot on. Everything here was on point. We ordered several dishes, all to suit our eclectic tastes. I ordered the Naga chicken which was fused with flavour and the right amount of spice. Our waiter was helpful and service was very efficient. I would definitely be visiting Yasmin's again very soon.

Yasmin was recommended to me and I am so delighted that finally I managed to visit for a delicious and delectable dinner. The menu has been carefully thought out, and it a superb representation of authentic Indian food away from the Indian sub continent. It is very clear that all staff are passionate about their work and will endeavour to make your visit memorable. I ordered food delivery from this place purely because it had such great reviews- I was so disappointed!! Probably the worst Indian food I've ever had. I've eaten at multiple Indian restaurants on a frequent basis, as well visited India a number of times, and I can say for a fact that this was appalling.I ordered a curry which was 40% oil and 60% curry. Had to sieve through all the oil to get to the curry, which was just gross. Indian food does not need THAT much oil- it's all I could taste. When I did manage to scoop out the curry from all the oil, it was bland. The matar paneer was a complete joke- there was no paneer!! Instead of paneer, they substituted it for some sort of cheese?? Absolutely ridiculous, you can't call the dish a paneer dish if you don't have the actual ingredient in it! Not to mention the fact that Indian dishes don't contain cheese, so that substitute doesn't make any sense.On the plus side, at least they got the Naan right.Quite possibly the worst food I've ever had. Never ordering from there again.

We have been going to Yasmins for 25 years and visited with friends last weekend and as always the food was fantastic and bursting with flavour, this is undoubtedly our favourite restaurant, and we bring friends from far and wide at any opportunity. The guys that run and work here are really friendly and welcoming they make you feel like family. We also take away very often from Sidcup so I guess that shows how much we absolutely love Yasmins, our dishes are consistently great every time.

First place we ate when we moved to Bromley common, lovely staff, lovely fresh food, great delivery time, lovely restaurant too. We have strayed a few times and always disappointed. I love the naga it's amazing

I don't often go to Bromley, but when I do, I make sure I pay a visit to Yasmin restaurant. Along with the amazing food, parking facilities, and friendly staff, they are also understanding of dietary requirements. You can get such a wide variety of food at an affordable price and they tailor it just to how you like it, in my case, hot and spicy!

So many indian restaurants miss the mark and spend a lot of money on decor and neglect the food. Yasmins is an exception - had a very lovely chicken tikka masala which tasted freshly made and authentic.The onion bajis are to die for, they are so crispy you can tell they were prepared and made the same day.

I have read a recent poor contribution on Trip Advisor for this restaurant which was obviously for a different Yasmins.(They have never had an arrangement with Just Eat).I have been coming to this restaurant most weeks for the past 29 years as my family and I love good quality Indian food. I have tried over the years every other Indian Restaurant in the Bromley area and can confirm that this our favourite.(Bromley has more Indian Restaurants per head of population than any where else in the UK)It has taken me 29 years to send a review in but I can confirm that we have always enjoyed excellent cuisine and service every week in all that time. I shall look forward to the next 29 years of excellent Indian food.

I order a delivery trough Just-Eat on Tuesday 1-11-16 and I was extremely disattified! The food was in late and I wasn't told it was coming late, when I called the restaurant they were dismissive. When I finally received the food it was cold, no apology from the the restaurant when I called to complain and they were trying to argue about it, awful customers service! They said they can't do anything and they suggested to speak to just eat as I made my order through them. I spoke to the customer service of Just eat and it was even worst! they bounced me back to the restaurant and said that they couldn't do anything about it, I even asked to speak to a manager and they just said that they would confirm as above. Really poor customer service from both side, it really put me off ordering from either, ever again. There are plenty of better restaurant out there, but mostly there are better delivery company out there. Don't wast your money

We went here tonight without planning , although the restaurant was fairly empty ( Monday night)We were greeted like old friends and were served with a big smile and attentive service , the food was spot on and we will return for sure !

My partner and I were visiting my sister, and she'd heard about this restaurant so we thought we'd give it a go. It was a good choice. The staff are helpful and courteous, the food was fantastic and overall was an enjoyable experience. We haven't had the chance to go back yet, but will definitely visit in the future.

Yasmin was our weekly hang out spot when we lived in Bromley. It's a tad far from Sevenoaks but despite our visits being less frequent than before (due to distance), whenever we visit the restaurant the food is still spot on and service is amazing!

I am not a regular eater of Indian food (once a month) but when I fancy one there's only one name that crops to mind and that's Yasmin's on Hastings Road. Been going there for nearly two decades, early years with my parents and last decade or so the family! Food is always exceptional and the service is brilliant, can't fault the place and the owners are always accommodating.

Classy decoration and Staffs are friendly and the food is nice, in particular, the Lamb, and chicken dishes. Will definitely visit again with family and friends.

The Yasmin has been producing great food for many years, both in the restaurant and to take-away. The restaurant is family run and it shows in the friendly manner of the staff.

As this restaurant is only two minutes walk down the road we have eaten here several times but I have never written a review before. The Manager/Owner always gives a very warm welcome and his staff are pleasant and friendly. The food is consistently good and the Manager chats to everyone and always makes sure everyone is happy. It gets very busy at weekends, which is always a good sign, so if you want to drop in without booking it is best to visit mid week otherwise make sure you book. It is reasonably priced and if you are looking for a decent Indian restaurant in thr Bromley area you could not do better.

I normally don't write reviews but Yasmin is worthy of praise. The food is on point, very tasty and good portions. I know Indian restaurants very well and this place really is one of the best I've visited. The quality of the food is second to none. The service is nothing short of excellent and the staff are very friendly, especially the manager who welcomed us as if we were his own family. The bill was surprisingly reasonable given the high quality of the food and service. The decor is pleasant too and is impeccably presented. I would definitely recommend Yasmin and will go back again soon.

I heard of Yasmin restaurant from family members so I payed a visit from Essex. I ate a chicken tikka biryani which was amazing, full of flavours. The Naga chicken was delicious too. Not forgetting the mouth watering King prawns. The staff were very polite. Would love to visit again.

Food was really good, except the stale poppadoms.Portions are very small (I had a king prawn main dish that only had 3 small prawns in it) and served randomly so luke warm by the time everything is out. The lamb dish on the specials, I think it was called naga or something similar was delicious! I would go back again, but maybe in a smaller group and hopefully would be better!

I visit this Indian at least once a week, the food it always very good and the staff are extremely friendly without hassling you. And you always get asked if you want a drink on the house when settling the bill, highly recommended

We have found this Restaraunt via a friend although it is a bit far for delivery we always order our take away and collect (they have delivered for a larger order whic as we are a bit of a distance is fair)Staff always really friendly, food great really fresh, chicken tastes like chicken which we found in a lot of Indian and Chinese restaraunt a it tastes preformed.We have also eaten in the Restaraunt which is a nice experience as the decor is very nice, and the other customers are obviously long standing as the staff know them very well, which says a lot if they keep coming back

We visit he Yasmin regularly and have done for the past 6 years or so. We have never had a bad meal . It is consistently excellent! Staff are great, welcoming, friendly, attentive and efficient! We are very lucky to have this little gem of a restaurant practically on our doorstep!!

Been here twice now and had 1 take away. Very impressed with the service on all occasions. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Cant wait to go back.

We've dined at Yasmin's a few times now but never had a takeaway until this weekend. The food arrived on time and was piping hot. I would happily order again as we were very impressed with how it tasted.
