No wonder this restaurant has so many 5* reviews. We were there for the first (but not the last) time last night for a birthday celebration that took up most of the tables but that didn't seem to faze them. Food was good and plentiful and we had a lovely night out. Thank you to all the staff.

We visited on a Tuesday evening and arrived earlier than booked but they said it was no problem and welcomed us to our table. The couple who run this little gem of a restaurant are welcoming and explained that the food comes out at different times when it’s ready. All the tapas dishes were tasty. We had a good choice and all of them were delicious. Would definitely recommend

excellent food and service. We visited on a Tuesday evening and had some fantastic tapas in this lovely restaurant.run by a lovely hard working couple. All produce is locally sourced and every dish we chose was delicious. We will definitely be back I only wish we lived closer!

One of our favourite restaurants in Broadway. Great food, warm welcome, super atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem! Recommended by a local shopkeeper, we gave it a go and were very pleasantly surprised. A lovely little establishment with a romantic yet busily atmosphere. The kitchen is transparent/open plan. The food is absolutely lovely. It was really charming!

The food is lovely but check the bills, so disappointed a special occasion spoilt as charged double. Would not recommend at all

The fact Hassans isn’t #1 is incredible. The food and service there was impeccable and nothing too much trouble. If you aren’t close to Moreton then a trip is 100% worth it. Both a fantastic menu and a good selection of drinks, it’s the perfect place for a date night or for a big meal out. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable, we will be back!

Here on a busy Saturday night (and maybe they are always busy like this or it may have been in jubilant celebration of the England team beating Wales 68:14, although it looks like France will win the 6 Nations, as I write this review). Lots of waiting around for both our table (despite booking) and our food. However, the really pleasant and lovely staff acknowledged there were issues and knocked various items off the bill without any prompting. The food was really nice - we had a king prawn biryani with loads of prawns in it and the lamb patia was hot, spicy, and tasty with large lumps of meat. Chutney tray with the poppadoms was really good. Yes there were issues but we had a lovely meal and enjoyed our evening. When we return (and we shall), we will book for 8pm when the Saturday rush has died down.

The staff were incredibly, they could not have been more helpful. They were great at explaining the menu and even remade one of our dishes which we found too spicy. The food was so lovely, it was well presented and the menu had more variety than your average Indian restaurant. It was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Ideal for couples and quieter groups

We have used The Spice Room for many years, we also have 2 holiday cottages that we rent out where we recommend them as our Indian delivery/takeaway of choice. Sadly tonight’s meal was awful, not the same meal we normally have at all. We ordered a Rogan Josh and it was like a tin of chopped tomatoes with some tikka meat thrown in. No Indian flavour at all just chopped tomatoes and chicken. I called them as I wanted to let them know as I am sure this must have just been a mistake to be told in a very arrogant way that I “must have picked the wrong dish as this dish is tomato based” all I wanted was acknowledging and that they would pass on the feedback to the chef as I’m sure he must have just forgot to add any Indian spice/flavouring. Really sad about this and how I was treated but sadly I won’t be ordering from them again and I will be removing the menus from my holiday cottages incase my guests receive the same treatment.
