Very disappointed with the Onion bargees over cooked with just abit of lettuce when I asked for some Rieta sauce the waiter looked confused and came back with some red sauce? We had less poppadoms than ordered And they got 1 dish wrong I think the waiter was new or just wanted to finish early as the other main dishes were very good. After spending over £100 was disappointed on a special night out👎

Rahin, Jan, and Jumman provided exceptional service. Could not have been more amiable, smiley, friendly and warm. They have a professional but jolly and cheery attitude which puts you at ease and they'll even have a laugh with you. All of the above is very rare to see in any restaurant. Equally rare is to see vegan options in a Bengali or Indian restaurant. They have 4 or 5 main dishes that are specifically listed as vegan! Never have I seen this before. In addition, upon enquiring, I learned that they don't use ghee! So all the vegetable side dishes (that don't have cheese) are vegan as well! I would strongly recommend they make a separate vegan menu with all of these on, or else put (VEGAN) next to the side dishes. Otherwise people won't know! Staff remembered us and took time to talk and get to know us and tell us about them as well. The food is incredible, really wonderful, all the dishes were great. Recommend Rasoi to anyone, ESPECIALLY vegans who will feel welcomed by the menu options. (I suggest that the chef adds a vegan dessert, we didn't fancy a dessert today - but if we had, I would have had nothing to choose.)

The woman looking after us (Jan) was sooooo friendly and helpful, came across apologising about the wait at one point, which wasn't excessive... Tuesday, party of 11! waiter had blundered our order up leading to a 2 hour wait, finally when the food arrived, a few of us were missing food items which led us to wait while others on our table dined, food finally arrived after my friends had finished, it's a shame because the food was outstanding but the service was absolutely shocking! A table full of chefs is probably the worst clientèle to disappoint. There was a couple opposite us who had waited over 30 mins for their order to be taken until they actually walked out and had the staff chasing after them to return !!! Embarrassing! Prices are not too bad but no free poppadoms? really? Food great, service terrible.

Stumbled on this place while on an evening walk in Cirencester. Ordered some takeaway and this place hands down probably had one of the best tasting Indian meals I have ever had. I asked for disposable cutlery and there was none on hand (not a big deal)…so I left and had walked easily 200m+ when the fellow at the front desk came running after me to deliver some disposable cutlery he had got for me. I guess they they do care that much about their customers :-)

Tasty food and conveniently located, but we had a very odd interaction with the waiter that left me feeling quite upset. When it came to collecting the menus from my family and I, he stated that he was one menu short. He wasn’t - we had each given a menu. He went to look around the table to find it. It wasn’t there, obviously. And he said it would turn up (which I’m sure it will as we handed it over). The tone was accusatory and left us feeling uncomfortable. When he came back to the table later I asked if it had turned up and he again doubled down that he would find it in due course but that cutlery etc often ends up under the table or lost. We spent over £100 in total and, as I say, the food was good. But this interaction really undermined the experience.

Very good choice of starters, mains etc and good vegetarian selection. Nice atmosphere, very pleasant waiters. Seated really quickly, asked about drinks and poppadoms before we'd got chance to settle, felt a little rushed. Didn't have to wait long for food which was very tasty and everything nice and hot. A couple of areas we felt could have been better. Once mains served we weren't asked if everything was ok, did we want any more drinks or would we like to see the dessert menu. Also a little surprised at the cost of the poppadoms and dips. £1 per poppadom and £3.95 for the pleasure of a few spoons of pickles and yoghurt! Would visit again if we were in Cirencester but would not allow ourselves to be rushed with ordering.

Tonight we had a pre booked table for 8.30 and arrived on time to be seated at reception, twenty minutes later we were still sat here without even being offered a drink or any acknowledgement whatsoever. At which point we left and dined elsewhere. We were visiting Cirencester, from Cheltenham, as we had tickets for the Sundial Theatre and so were looking for somewhere to eat. We parked in the Abbey car park and by chance realised we were right next to a restaurant. What luck and what a find! Located in an older, characterful building this is a charming restaurant. We chose Poppadoms and chutneys for our starters followed by Chicken Jalfrezi, Sagoti Chicken Tikka, Plain Naan and Basmati Rice, accompanied by a very nice bottle of red wine. All the food was beautiiful cooked and delivered with attentive but discreet service. The white tablecloths were a nice touch too as were the various Indian artefacts dotted around making it feel really autherntic. We considered ourselves very lucky to have stumbled on this gem quite by chance and will definately visit again in the future. If you haven't tried it already then you must, it's well worth a visit.

Been here twice. First time absolutely loved it, food so so delicious. Staff lovely. Second time they clearly had booked too many tables and not had enough staff in. We waited quite some time to be asked about drinks and poppadoms. Once these arrived, a little later they took the food order. We then waited close to an hour for the food to arrive, by which time some of us were past the point of being hungry any more. We had also finished our drinks and asked three different members of staff if we could order more. The food then came out and we were halfway through by the time the drinks came, when we maybe didn't need them any more. I had a prawn dish which came out lukewarm. Then it took us a while to get the bill, and again we had to ask several people if we could please pay as we'd been in the restaurant for around 3 hours and had somewhere else to be and we're already running late. Eventually we were told to go downstairs to pay. We had such a lovely first time which is the only reason I've kept this at 4 stars. The second time was a 2 star experience.

We visited to this con artists lair on Christmas day where they had a set menu containing lamb and turkey which we don't eat. We then decided to leave as there wasn't much we could eat of the set menu but the waiter said that he'll make something special us. We were pleased by this. He said he'll make us a chicken biryani and a chicken tika masala and some naan just for us. At this time we said Do you have any veg dishes and they said no and we said OK that's fine we'll just have the biryani, curry and naan. Then when she brought the food she also brought a "mix platter" that we never ordered. This was revolting. It had a miny veg samosa that was clearly from a packet that they chucked in the oven and some raw uncooked chicken. We ate the samosa but not the chicken as we didn't know if it was even safe to eat. Then came the revolting chicken tika masala which we didn't eat. We only ate the naan and the pickle. We didn't touch the biryani and parcelled it. We ate a bit of the biryani at home which gave us a horrible stomach ache. Then she came with a veg dish that we just asked if they had but never ordered. The bill came to £60 for biryani, curry and naan. They charged us £15 for the "mix plater" and 15 for the veg curry. We said we never asked for these two items but they made us pay anyway. I understand that the waiter allegedly made the biryani and curry from scratch, but they purposely gave us the veg curry and mix platter to up the bill. Thieves

The lamb mains were very tough not good meat in very watery sauces. The dish taste was OK, but a strong liver overtone to the meat. Was not great, delivered cold, madras had no spice at all! Onion bhaji were very oily. Tikka was bland and so was the samosa? All round so disappointed..

Food OK but nothing special, service OK but not great from one member of staff, starters literally felt like it was thrown in front of us! So much so that we laughed out loud, a couple of minutes later he returned and said "so is it nice!?" He didn't seem happy at all. After our meal we asked for the bill which was brought, we then sat there for at least 10 minutes before our happy server passed and I said can we pay? and he said "go to the till!" Needless to say, we won't be rushing back.

Fantastic food and lovely service from the friendly staff. We had the best Nann bread ever, fresh out of the oven, fluffy and light. The food was vibrant with fresh spices and quality ingredients.

Although we had to wait quiet long time for the food, it worth the wait. Food was fresh and very tasty. Service was good too .Friendly place and lovely environment. Very cosy.

Just back from yet another excellent meal. We always try to eat here when we’re in the area. We know that the food, atmosphere and staff will be unfailingly fantastic and tonight didn’t disappoint. We each had the set meal for one and thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. Great value at £24.95 each and more food than we could eat, all served by super attentive staff. Wish we could get here more often.

The fact Hassans isn’t #1 is incredible. The food and service there was impeccable and nothing too much trouble. If you aren’t close to Moreton then a trip is 100% worth it. Both a fantastic menu and a good selection of drinks, it’s the perfect place for a date night or for a big meal out. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable, we will be back!

Disappointed, booking confirmed and reminder received but on arrival place was closed, no one around and no response to my phone call. No explanation for closure will seriously think before visiting again.

This wonderful little gem run by a husband from Turkey and wife from Slovakia prepare some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had. We had eggplant & red pepper mousaka and lamb tangine and topped the meal off with delicious homemade ice cream. Wonderful wine selection as well. Very reasonable prices. It’s a must visit in Broadway!!

We ordered 2 chicken dishes and 1 side with paneer cheese ‘Mottor Ponir’ a rice and 2 naan breads 1 of the two chicken dishes came with what seemed and tasted like a strong cheddar cheese grated and melted over the top in a thick layer The second was tasty but the chicken very try and no texture to the sauce at all The side dish was also covered in a thick layer of the same cheese with what I assume were chickpeas in a thin curry sauce and no paneer cheese at all The rice was okay as was the naan Overall, majority was inedible. This almost seemed like a joke. In the car home the overwhelming smell of cheese and curry was odd. However, after tasting it, even more strange. I’d like to assume this was a one of but I wouldn’t risk wasting your money here unless you have a love of mature cheddar on your tikka masala
