The best restaurants in England

This is, hands down, the best restaurant in Truro. Small in size, with a welcome short menu it allows the chef to deliver perfection every time. The wine list is equally well considered and the staff are friendly and well informed about all they bring to the table. We have eaten here three times and taken bothe the set and sampling menus; we will keep coming back. A foodie delight without foodie pretentions or prices.

Top quality Turkish food and impeccable service! We even got to sample some of the new menu which sounds great! You won’t be disappointed. 10/10 experience!

An amazing local restaurant, we have visited a couple of times and took family this time. We ordered a sharing platter, which was outstanding with very generous portions. An excellent recommendation. The staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Our family was as impressed as we have always been.

Superb food , staff location and atmosphere

I'd heard about Mocky-D for a while but never knew where it was; one couldn't find it by chance, tucked away in this small industrial estate and Google Maps didn't indicate to me that it was real (eg street view didn't show it). Truly a hidden gem. The owners are friendly and passionate about what they do. The food is great; I highly recommend the Philadelphia Cheeze Steak Sandwich (I have only had it once, on my first visit, and would love to have it again). But, I've tried everything on the menu and so far, enjoyed everything. Nice to try the limited edition themed burgers, with well thought out toppings. Liquid Light (Vegan) Brewery in the same Unit 9, right alongside. Hit and miss parking (double yellow lines on most of the road edge) but seems pretty relaxed here.

Beth has made many lovely treats for us, and they’re amazing every time. She’s so talented when it comes to both the taste of the items and the design. Thank you so much!

Went here on a Sunday Lunchtime to meet with friends. Our table on arrival was ok and table space was ok too. The problem started when I received an overcooked Toasted Salt Beef Sandwich. I didn’t complain as we where with friends and didn’t want to spoil the meeting. There food was ok but nothing special. Thete Lasagne had far to much cheese on top. Also my coffee could have been warmer. Probably won’t go back.

Lovely food and great service. We had the mixed grill which was tasty and plentiful! Very fairly priced. Will definitely be back.

Visité este lugar varias veces. Mi crítica considera todos los aspectos de comer colectivamente como percibidas por mí, así que obviamente, mi opinión. Mi principal consideración es la comida. En este restaurante, la comida es fresca y deliciosa, preparada en frente de usted, con grandes porciones, servida en tiempo de espera, con algunas partes gratis. Té turco y algún tipo de elemento dulce es casi siempre ofrecían. El pan plano horneado en el horno de arcilla en frente de usted es algo muy pocos restaurantes ofrecen comida recién horneados, donde en realidad no es la atracción principal. Las opciones para vegetarianos son limitadas y deben considerar mejorar eso. El personal es siempre alegre, amable, de voz suave y amable. Ambiente es limpio pero lleno, ya que el lugar es muy popular. Por desgracia yo vivo a unos 200 km del lugar.

Kay’s Kitchen catered our wedding in August 2023 and we could not have asked for better caterers! Sanam and the team were so accommodating and ensured our buffet was exactly how we dreamt, with person touches too! The quality of the food was INCREDIBLE and our guests were raving about it all night- we over catered numbers wise but the food still all went! The value was also amazing, especially considering the perfect quality. We cannot say thank you enough!

Don’t think much of the veggie breakfast the sausages weren’t cooked enough for me. Everything else was nice esp the coffee!

We’ve been here a few times for sandwiches, today we thought we would try the Brie, bacon and cranberry paninis. I can honestly say it’s the worst panini I’ve ever had. The bacon was really very fatty and cold. Both of us only ate one mouthful and then had to remove all the bacon. The lady behind the counter was very busy so I didn’t feel able to complain.

Gran servicio y deliciosa comida y pasteles frescos. El dueño siempre todos muy bienvenidos. Sin duda recomendaría probar este café.

Absolutely fabulous Burn’s Night experience at The Stables at Oaklands College. The food was excellent and the service attentive. Definitely will be returning on another Thursday night
