X L ent! First class coffee and cake - unfortunately we did not have chance to have a full meal - but will next time. Well prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff who deserve all the praise considering the the aims of the organisation. Long may they continue and be supported by the public, especially considering the competitive prices.

Such a peaceful and beautiful cafe , the workers are so lovey, ordered a delicious sweet chilli wrap and it came with a generous amount of salad and crisps on the side. The lady’s toilets provide you with free sanitary products which is great in times of need. Such i nice charity cafe with a gift shop only across the road selling gorgeous products.

this is a first time for me but my support worker as been before it is a place where the staff are vollentears it is quite a big place with differant rooms for differant things it as a counselling service a shop and cafe the staff are very helpfull

Lovely cafe providing funding for such an amazing organisation, and giving volunteering opportunities to young people who have often experienced difficulties such as anxiety or low mood. We often visit, the food is delicious and so reasonably priced, the staff are all absolutely lovely. They have a big selection of cakes and drinks as well as lunch. The cafe is situated in what was part of the town bank and has high ceilings and other features; it really is a warm and welcoming environment, and especially cosy in the colder months. I can't recommend this place enough.

This is a very worthy cause and a well run cafe. Staff are so welcoming and service with a smile and chat. Food and drink is delicious and well priced. The message behind this cafe is outstanding and as a small independent charity, they do an amazing job in providing for the community. Buying a coffee allows more work to be done in supporting very worthy causes. Perfect location.

A brilliant cafe with a purpose. A charity cafe that supports mental health, but it is a proper cafe. Can be difficult to get a seat, sharing is good and I have chatted to some lovely people.

This wonderful cafe has only recently arrived on our radar as our employer is sponsoring them. We popped in for a light lunch and it was superb. The toasted paninis were freshly cooked, I asked for well done bacon and it was crispy, just the way I like it. The staff are all volunteers and today they were all of school age, extremely polite and professional and are a credit to this organisation. I used the ladies toilet and was delighted to see free sanitary products for those that need it. What a great cause - we will be back often now we know about you 💙

Such a warm welcome from the staff, the menu is extensive and dishes we tried were delicious. Great to support a local charity and the work they do. Recommend to everyone who wants good food & a refreshing drink in a great location and staff who care. Superb.

What an amazing cafe this is. Truly fresh and delicious food, delightfully served, all in a wonderful cause. The volunteers run this to raise funds for the in house counselling service. I could not praise the food, attitude and innovation higher.

We have now frequented this restaurant for 4 weeks in a row. The overall feel of the place is great as is the food and drink. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our only negative point would be that on one of our visits a customer decided she was going to feed her dog a biscuit at/on the table ( right next to us and we were eating at the time). We love dogs BUT felt this was not something that should have been allowed and unfortunately, no member of staff asked the lady to kindly not do this. This place is well worth a visit. We believe the restaurant is part of a charity with the same name, so profits from this restaurant will be helping the charity further. We shall continue to eat and drink here.

This is a fabulous place to stop for coffee and maybe a slice of cake. Everyone is so friendly, prices are super reasonable and there is never a rush to move you on. Staff are really helpful and they have covid secure measures beautifully in place. One day I'll try pancakes for breakfast as well

Took my new partner( not from Bourne) he is now a big fan too, great food, great atmosphere, lovely people.and what a better way to give your money back too.My regular place to visit.. now our regular place to visit.

Fabulous little cafe in the centre of Bourne, run by volunteers to help raise funds in order to offer professional counselling to those who are in need of help. Really friendly, helpful, polite staff , wonderful atmosphere, very relaxed. Also some delicious hand made cakes on offer along with freshly made sandwiches etc Well worth a visit if you’re in town and you’ll also be helping to raise funds for this extremely worthwhile Charity towards counselling sessions at the same time , which are needed more than ever now in these difficult times

I made my second visit to the Don't Lose Hope Cafe today. Like the first I found it warm, inviting and welcoming. The food delicious and ever so reasonable and all served by the friendliest of staff who were wonderful with my two year old niece. They made sure she was attended to just as much as we were. .. Little tip the brownies are amazing. They are gluten free but you'd never know. Best brownies ever - It's worth the trip just for those! The building itself is just lovely, beautiful hand made wooden furnishings and fittings. Even without going into the incredible reason the cafe (and gift shop over the road) are there, the work that they do and what they can achieve because of the cafe this little place is well well worth a visit. 40 minute drive for me but I will be back.. If only for those brownies!!

Lovely experience as always. The staff are always so accommodating, especially with my toddler and we were made to feel very welcome. Lovley coffee and cake selection.

Don't lose hope is a little gem in Bourne. The coffee is fab, the cakes are amazing and now they have ice cream for ice cream sundaes. Chocolate, toffee and summer fruit flavours are all gorgeous with whipped ice cream. Great for a hot day! And everything goes towards supporting the counselling work which the charity carries out. Stop by and support them. They are brilliant

I've been twice now and I have to say the atmosphere is so warm and friendly. The food is lovely and freshly made. Looking forward to going again soon.

Coffee stop and feed on one of many rides. Good variety of cakes, panini, filled jacket potatoes, and sandwiches. Freshly made and served with a smile. Highly recommended. Cyclist who always feels welcome.
