Chilled out restaurant with Vietnamese chef and authentic dishes. The Pho was wonderful as were the summer rolls and steamed roll with mince. Great value and so good to have a great local restaurant

We had our first takeaway from Tam's Kitchen this evening! We are total foodies and vegan and Tam's kitchen far exceeded our expectations. Every dish was fresh, authentic and supremely tasty! We demolished EVERYTHING!

Siempre es una maravilla cómo este lugar no está más lleno. Hay comida increíble, en buenas cantidades y precios baratos, súper deliciosa y rápida, y el servicio al cliente es realmente bueno. Los mejores rollitos de primavera que he tenido!

...ultimately it didn’t matter as what they did have was delicious. And I say that as someone borderline obsessed with Viet baguettes. The prawn summer rolls were essentially perfect: really tasty and not at all dry like some can be, served with lovely satay sauce. My main of spicy beef and pork noodle soup was also excellent. Friendly service and low prices too.

So happy to have given Tam's a go - so good that it instantly became our go-to favourite in all of Streatham. The place may not seem anything special from the outside, but we were very impressed both by the variety of dishes on offer and their authenticity. Some of the dishes we tasted took us back to the wonderful streetfood we enjoyed back on our holidays in Vietnam. Great value as the prices are very reasonable, and staff are friendly and helpful too. Portions are generous, leaving you entirely satisfied - and what better way to cap it off than a Vietnamese drip coffee. I highly recommend!

Still off radar for timeoutfoodies surely not ? Residents and workers within a one mile radius are missing out. With a Barclays bank bill division app or suchlike, this place is great for beer and small plates, also known as “Starters” in Streatham-speak. Previous TÂm reviews in Tripadvisor are thoroughly Viet—food literate so this is just an add-on. A real find if you are nowhere near East London or Soho. Easy peasy to visit from Streatham train Station (not Streatham Hill, not Streatham Common) turn left at the exit, past Marks and Spencer and Aldi, cross the road safely to the side with the muscles supplement shop, carry on slightly uphill past about 2 side roads. TÂm is turquoise. Brixtonites can catch the bus 250 or 109 outside H&M, about 15 minutes on, you will see turquoise TÂm and the spire on St Leonards church on the right side of the road, alight and walk backwards on the same side of the street, uphill till you see the turquoise signage again. Take the excellent quality and service for granted. Go early on any school night for that private chef feeling. Bring lots of cash to eat lots, save your weekends for other activities. For the rules about card payment see their website. Having said that I only spent £11.50. I would say not push chair friendly unless you can see the two tables at the shop window are empty. It is not Ikea. Also no bone free neat finger food, no chips, ever. (Parents will enjoy Tooting Rosa’s Thai for pushchair space and scary adoring staff instead). Big people are spoiled at TÂm though. As on 29 March 2019 the Banh Mi lunch only special was is around £5, it is modestly called “baguette”. Evening and lunch have black bean and sweet and sour styles for a nod to Chinese if you need. There is nothing deep fried (if you need, and I often do, go super meaty and deep fried at basement buffet Tai Tip Main Elephant and Castle, slabs of beef shin stew, prawns, mackerel, wings) The carrot juice at £3 is superb, freshly cut and buzzed up to order, fun foam crema on top. Jasmine tea for one is only £1, the tiny cup with a big teapot, take for granted that hot water refills are free if wanted. You take the Viet milky coffee hot or iced. The beef rice soup noodles was £7.50, totally lean and sliced easy to eat. It is enormous, probably a half gallon ceramic bowl , with the expected fresh mint, coriander, sliced raw chilies and lime wedge and bean sprouts on the side, the nuclear grainy chili oil is already cutely potted on your table, sweet sriracha and the barbecue sweet sauce are in big bottles if you ask. There are no desserts. The Moon…….wetherspoon pub is a few shops further up on your right as you leave, I have gone there for the magical unlimited tea/coffee ranges and apple crumble with custard after TÂm, sorted. The full-on salads will come into their own when the sun starts shining in London, very clean and refreshing in heat. My next goal is to eat all the starters as a dinner though.

Great Vietnamese restaurant offering fantastic food. Lunch menu has a good selection including stewed beef, roast duck, soup noodles and stir fries served with rice. Banh mi (Vietnamese baguette) also available for lunch. Good selection of starters - ribs, chicken wings, salads, Vietnamese pancake. The soft shell crab is absolutely delicious. Mains include the usual soup noodles and a few stir fries the Thit Kho ( belly pork in caramel sauce) is very tasty.

This place used to be known as Tiger and I used to mainly eat their (massive portion of) chicken wings. It got a revamp and upgrade and the menu has changed but this is all for the better. I love pork belly and can honestly say that their pork belly stew is melt in the mouth. Their portions are very generous - as are the prices for a glass of wine. They managed a large group of us last week and food came to order and on time and we all left happy and well fed.

My husband and I have dined here on a number of occasions...... always great food served by very nice guys. We have used this restaurant for many years when it was run by the previous owners. Tam is as good if not slightly better, thank god. Well worth a visit.

I have been popping in here since they launched earlier in the year. I was a customer of the previous restaurant in residence too. The food at TAM is consistent; always fresh, tasty and value for money. I had the pork banh mi this lunchtime and it was delicious. It's a great little Vietnamese that works hard to up their profile. They have recently spruced the place up and although maybe a little canteen like, they have made it cosy A definite recommendation

Worth a short trip over the river and away from the crowds to get an amazing meal. Best meal in London on our trip, great service and cute atmosphere.

We have been living south London for a while but we were struggling to find the good local Vietnamese restaurant until NOW! I ordered Beef pho, delicious! My son had a crispy pork and rice, delicious! and My husband had a Bun cha, DELICIOUS! (also deep fried squid for starter, fantastic) We were so glad finally found a good restaurant not too far from us. We will be coming back definitely soon. Thank you so much.

We love this place. My daughters want to go to Edo all the time, especially to celebrate special occasions. The sushi is fantastic. Taste, presentation, imagination are delicious; the service is very kind and patient; and it's healthy. I think the owners can be very proud of this place. It would be good to see them open up the restaurant to the front with a stall to serve their Japanese delights as a tapas-style, instagram-able take away to capitalise on the footfall heading for the park, pub gardens (line that stomach!), transport links, school commute, etc. I wish Edo the best success and we will be back soon :)
