Chino Latino in Lambeth

Spent an evening at the Chino Latino bar, and Karamat's service and drinks were amazing. They need to put his drink on the menu, everyone should taste it!! It was a sweet cocktail and well presented, wish I took a picture :/

Serena was above and beyond. Impeccable service and she even gave us recommendations about things to do around London as we are visiting London for the first time. I would definitely recommend Chino Latino mainly because of the service we received from Serena! Had drinks and it was perfect!

Place is amazing and the barman Adrian made the best drink ever! You should totally try the Passion fruit Martini. My first time trying it and it was perfect!

We stayed at the hotel and frequented the bar a few times. Karamat is by far the BEST and most friendly bartender we’ve met! He goes far and above to make sure the guests feel special. I would definitely come back here again if he’s working, what an asset to this restaurant!

This was a lucky find. Great service which made our experience all the better. They catered for the children’s needs and provided a good range of alternatives. It being Easter they also did an egg hunt in the restaurant!!! We had a few little issues with food being cold and miss understanding with a few items . This was swiftly rectified without any fuss. I’d definitely eat here again.

I had dinner during my stay in the hotel. There was live music and the singer was great. The thai green chicken curry was good, and the dessert (chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream) was fantastic. Evelyn provided a great service, she was very attentive during the whole evening.

The food was good, nothing stellar but did the trick. Our waitress, Evelyn, was incredible. Helpful and nice.

The place is spectacular, the attention is perfect, giving you plenty of time for conversation with your companions. And the food is simply delicious.

We were first ignored at the entrance by the staff for 10 minutes until we walked in ourselves and stopped by staff asking "what do you want". Then the service from there continued being terrible, we waited ages for staff to collect our orders and delivered drinks and food. For example, 45 minutes wait for normal standard ice cream. The only positive is that the steak on hot rocks was amazing.

Our waiter MJ was attentive and welcoming. Great service and we were well looked after. Food was lovely especially the seafood moqueca, lots of mussels, whole king prawns, lobster and squid with rice, bit like paella but in another level with Thai flavours even though it was Brazilian. Live music was a bit loud for dinner conversation, glad they had breaks at intervals.

This is my 3rd time staying at the Riverbank location. They still haven’t sorted out the coffee machine situation. Have spoken to management multiple times. Only 2x coffee machines with long cues! Adrian the bartender- awesome guy🥰

My partner & I visited the hotel yesterday & spent several hours drinking champagne at the bar & also had some bar snacks. We were hosted & looked after incredibly well by Jermaine, he was attentive, polite, respectful & charismatic too. Nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely place, setting and location. Really friendly team. Very attentive and engaging. Food was good. Sufficient items for sushi and dim sum. Would be nice is edamame peas were added. Some of the sushi had been out for a while and could have been a bit fresher but everything was wonderful overall.

Good food and nice athmospher but too pricey for the kind of food that was served. We had the cheapest set meny and thought is was a bit basic for the price 50 gbp/ person.

I had a bottomless sushi brunch with a friend some time ago and I couldn't fault a thing! A chilled atmosphere with holiday vibes, a view of the Thames and relaxing music in the bbackground and of course, the star of the show - bottomless sushi! The food was absolutely amazing, with something for everyone. Whether you are a sushi connoisseur or just wanting to try and see if you like it - you'll be in the right place either way. And if you haven't had enough of the delicious sushi dishes to start with, there's also a 'main' course of crispy duck or aubergine salad! And if you still have space for desert - you must try their sweets and fruit plate - it's an absolute winner! We didn't bring the kids on this occasion, but there was definitely something for them too. The manager was always on hand to make sure everyone was happy and the head chef was popping in and out to meet and great people and to ensure everyone enjoyed their meal! Overall, a fabulous experience which i wholeheartedly recommend and will certainly be going back soon.

Having been to this place before, we decided to check and see if it's as nice as we remembered it and it did not dissapoint! We stayed overnight, so we had lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day. For lunch we chose the steak sandwich and it was the juiciest, tastieast one we've ever had. We also had our children with us who enjoyed some dishes from the kids menu. Erica was so lovely and understanding and made the whole experience so relaxing by engaging with our little ones. We had a fabulous desert - which was a treat for my birthday! 😊 Later that day, we had dinner and MJ was on hand to make this a very lovely experience as well. He took our order in a timely manner, recomended some delicous dishes and ensured we were being looked after. It was a busy evening, but a lovely atmosfere with live music. I trully recomend this place for a great day out with family or friends. Dishes are unique and delicous and presented in a fabulous way. Breakfast the next day was even better than expected. A great selection of hot and cold food, with something for everyone - includding fussy kids. The time we chose for breakfast was a busy one, but we didn't feel at dissadvantage. Food was always topped up and fresh and the restaurant staff along with management were on hand for any queries. A great experience overall.

Attentive staff from the minute you walked through the door. The range of choices of food was excellent and the dishes were pleasant to the eye and tasted every bit as good. Despite being busy the service was prompt.

Good food and ambience, if not at the upper end of value for money. The staff were attentive and made a lovely effort for a birthday surprise. They seemed understaff and service was slow with 20 mins between being seated and drinks orders being taken

Had a table booked for 9 pm and when we got there the place was in chaos… we sat at the bar and waited for our table which was great. We were forgotten about and my partner went around 10pm to the maitre de… we got seated. Was quite late by time the food arrived…food was good. But service was chaos . Manager(lady in the red dress) hasn’t a clue what she is doing

This is a lovely bar, with great food and a lovely ambience, but the real highlight is the team working here - a real friendly greeting from the manager and Kennis and her colleagues on the bar are the most charming people you could meet. Traveling solo this is very much appreciated. Recommended.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. The food is very good and the service was attentive and friendly. The only slight disappointment is that the music volume is very loud for a restaurant that is not very busy at lunchtime.

Would not recommend. Food was very average. The calamari was nice however the sirloin was tough and the beef taquitos tasted like spaghetti bolognese. The music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself speak. The service was extremely slow. The drinks were good. There are plenty of better places to go to instead.

We had an amazing time tonight at the Chino Latino restaurant. We were very well accommodated by Victoria. She was very helpful and gave us the best recommendations. It was a very pleasant experience, definitely would be returning here. Thank you Victoria!

I’m a not big fan of leaving reviews, but I will remember this restaurant for a long time. Advian made my day and lunch unforgettable, amazing service, amazing food (I recommend steak on the rocks), desserts are worthy of the attention of gourmets, also the view from the windows is amazing, especially when it gets dark, we were very pleased, thank you for amazing atmosphere

Lovely place with an amazing river view and live music. The band was fantastic, they created unforgetrable atmosphere. We had a great night. And yes, food and cocktails were very good.

We arrived for dinner with colleagues, and the atmosphere is unusually quiet with no music. There's no hostess, and we waited at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged. While the staff is pleasant, the food is only okay, and the sushi options are limited to what's on the menu.

The attention was a disaster, on New Year's 2024 a dinner cost 290 pounds per person and there were 5 of us, it took a long time to serve the dishes and they didn't even serve the dessert, the manager gave us drink tickets in compensation for what happened, we returned The next day we went to get the drinks and order something to eat and it took them more than an hour to bring 5 drinks, 1 Coca Cola and beers, they never came to take our food order and we had to stop and bring the drinks. The experience was unfortunate with the service. The experience has been so bad that we will not return.

Delicious food and great service make up for a somewhat soulless ambience which is common for big hotel restaurants. Lovely views of the Thames and Houses of Parliament too. The chef deserves high praise - everything we ordered was fantastic.

Good menu offers but why accepts reservation at 8.30 pm and say that the. Kitchen will close shortly after. We were informed by the waiter that food would be served quite rapidly. We accepted but could not enjoy the menu as we would have liked. Strange way of management at this level in an international hotel.

Wow, that was a very disappointing experience (23/12/2023), haven't been so disappointed in a restaurant in YEARS!. First, when you enter the hotel you get hit with their EXTRA STRONG parfum in the air, wow someone went crazy on the streinght and was so uncomfortable fortable just breathing, like when you go toa small toilet and spray for 5min a room deodoriser, you could taste it!. We had the coldest welcome from the hostess at the entrance of Chino Latino. We arrived at 12:45 pm for our 1 pm lunch booking. We were told with a 'I couldn't care less attitude,' while she finger-tapped on her computer screen to show us the time, that it's too early, and the restaurant is not open yet. What restaurant is not open at 12:45?!?! But then asked if we could sit at the bar and wait and have a drink. We were told yes, and that was it—no escorting, nothing. Arrived at the bar, and it was quiet just another 4 people with drinks already and we were ignored by the barwomen for 15 minutes while she was on her mobile phone. We had to call a few times for her attention. The cocktails were good, though. Then we were taken to our table, and the gentleman waiter didn't introduce himself or properly say hi. He couldn't care less for us; he was cold and nonchalant. His station was next to our table, but we had to scream for his attention as he was away with the fairies staring at the ceiling the all time. Attention should be on guests even more when the restaurant only had three tables. Then we went to the buffet, where names, labels, and allergens were missing (one of our guests is vegetarian and the other has allergies). So we had to ask twice for what it was, and the waitress had no idea. Then we had to wait more to get the signs out. She was apologetic, but come on, if you do a buffet, labelling is the minimum, and also, the team should know what they are serving. Worst part, was when we got to the dessert station, all of them were still hard frozen and the staff had to get them out and replace them with unfrosted one, so not even made on site. The restaurant had an amazing view of Big Ben, and that was it. The restaurant is soulless, and lacks personality and warmth. Feels like an airport lounge! What a shame Park Plaza Riverbank and Chino Latino used to have high standards back in the days when it was on the ground floor. What happened?! Also, don't you train or manage your staff? Put one star as the food was okay, one star for the view. With the price of the brunch and the drinks (cocktails are overpriced; this is not the Savoy), we ended up spending so much money for a very low-quality lunch/service. Would not recommend to anyone to go until they start caring for their offering and guests. If you don't, then don't do a brunch and close that restaurant and keep it for breakfast service only. They have ruined our Christmas get-together lunch :(

Thoroughly disappointed. £250 for 2 people for average food. There is a Japanese place near Liverpool street San Jungo more authentic and half the price.

The food was good - but we overestimated the amount we’d be getting. We picked the Tasting menu and it was quite a lot by the end. The seasonal cocktails were delicious!

I visited Chino Latino yesterday and would like to share my pleasant experience. It is important to say that the food and cocktails we ordered were delicious . The staff at the restaurant also met us very hospitably. I would especially like to highlight the waiter Eidin, who served us. Really professional in his field, was able to answer all my questions, because I am quite picky about food. He cheered us up with his sense of humor and put us in a great mood. Thanks to him, I will definitely come back again! I recommend the restaurant to everyone!

The best part was our service . Everyone was super friendly , ambiance was excellent. Three cheers to our waiter BHART . Very attentive , suggested some great veg dishes . over all very classy place and food was good . Only complain is portion sizes were bit small .

Having returned 820pm from winter wonderland it was handy to have a table for 830 Used them before greeted warmly by lady in red,nice views over Thames Excellent three piece band playing. Soft crab duck pancakes as starters.large portions.....Nice glass of wine Mains short beef rib , veg curry,both nice.i don't like the canvas chips but that's me....nice birthday platter for my wife....friendly atmosphere. It just feels.....it could be so much better in its design or layout.feels abit hotel bar rather than stand alone restaurant. Still very enjoyable and fairly priced for London.....recommended if staying at hotel

A little disappointed as the food was good but the bits which should have been hot were warm The Miso soup was cold. Even the main thai curry was not hot enough and that was not out for self service. The service was bad which I have never seen before , had to ask for soy to be put on table and had to ask to be able to order wine. Orders for coffee were delayed due to lack of milk availability, I had to ask if the coffees were still coming after 10 mins and then took over 20 mins for 2 of the three hot drinks orders to arrive by which time the first coffee received had been finished. I I was a shame as I had taken some friends to show off the place.

This restaurant and the hotel team is so unprofessional and heedless. They never answer the phone, once it is connected then they will cut you off, after long pause and couldn't be bothered to explain or anything. They are so conceited and careless as they are busy with tourists and other business. No proper profession service nor courtesy. People should not bring business to this kind of place even though it is convenient. So bad, frustrating I am so disappointed and annoyed.

Went on Saturday night, great place with Live singer!! Good setting, surrounding and ambience, Feels relaxed and will not get bored as the singer sing different Genres from Pop, Jazzy and a little touch of Opera and absolutely Great food!!! 💯💯💯

The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ambience was very pleasant until the arrival of the musical group. Too loud and so old fashioned. The staff brought a slate of mini desserts with a piped message about our anniversary which was much appreciated.

Evelina was magnificent in arranging night for my wife's birthday and Arabella was amazing and attended to all our requirements upon arrival. They MADE the evening VERY SPECIAL AND ARE SUPER AMAZING. THANX AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING. AAAAA+++++

It was my daughter's birthday celebration and we couldn't have chosen a better restaurant. Their staff team captures the soul of the restaurant and gets involved in every detail, each one of them is very precise in what they do. The dishes were amazing, well prepared, and designed, it was clearly done by very experienced chefs, we had the Hallowing celebration menu very creative, and everything was delicious. The waiters were professional, elegant, and calm, and the furniture was comfy, I've never been in a restaurant with a chair (armchair) so comfy. The atmosphere is peaceful, joyful, and modern, with the river views. When I arrived, I just told them that I would like to put a birthday candle in my daughter's dessert and didn't say anything else. To be honest, I was afraid they would forget it. Instead, and here is the icing on the cake, to my surprise, they brought a delicious and beautiful dessert specially designed to celebrate her birthday, she couldn't be happier! About the price: it is worth every penny for everything you get and there is no better place for special occasions. It was an unforgettable experience and we will return and highly recommend them to everybody.

We were given the menus without being informed that many dishes weren't available. When we started to make our order nearly every choice had to be changed. The waiter was laughing while telling us "this and this isn't available" without giving alternative options. The food we managed to get was tasty (except for the duck breast and spinach dessert). Unfortunately, this was our experience and the four of us did not leave the hotel wanting to return.

Ranking the food 4 stars. The sushi rice definitely need some improvement. It was a bit hard and dry when I eat them. The place does bottomless food and I am glad they don’t have the time limit or having ala carte order where you have to wait. This is self service allowing customers to grab as much as they want here. It is indeed a good buffet choice for the hungry eaters. Some may feel it is not worth with limited choice of food but I think it’s good enough with the ambience, afternoon DJ playing and glass of bubbly on arrival. Can’t complain much about this. Would come back again when there is more sushi variety selections.

Modern and nicely styled restaurant with river views. Sirloin steak was very nice and came well presented on hot stones. Duck pancakes were also delicious. Mock tails were good. Waiter did not know which options were gluten free and had to pass over the allergen folder to us. Very limited gluten free options. Quite overpriced for what you get.

I had a less than satisfactory experience at this restaurant. Firstly, they didn't answer the phone when I called to inform them about our late arrival. Inside, there was a shortage of waitstaff, leading to long delays in taking our orders. Overall, it was far from a memorable dining experience.

Not the first time here but this was particularly unpleasant. The staff doesn’t seem to be properly trained for what the restaurant pretend to be. Hostess not smiley and waiters unexpired (or not properly trained). During the service they removed plates while still eating, or in another moment they didn’t change them before serving the main course, resulting in them arriving at the table with the food and with no space left for serving it. The bill was left on the table without the usual cover, just as a piece of paper as it is. And this is not what you would expect for a restaurant that costs you over £150 in 2 people. In terms of food, it is good but overpriced and quite pretending. The portion are very small, as from the one in the picture that represent 4 pieces of beef taquitos for £16. The environment is nice however it is a smelly restaurant and we left it with out clothes smelling of food. To the management I’d suggest to review the prices or improve the service level.

Arrived and had an issue straight away with the tables we booked. MJ was an amazing waiter, honest and attentive. The manager super rude and sarcastic. My food arrived cold. A dish was replaced after an unpleasant encounter from the actual manager!! I wouldn’t be seen dead in this place again. Sharing set menu is so tiny it’s literally for 1.

There’s was not a lot to pick from and the food was dry and not fresh

I've heard so much about Chino Latino, some rave about others don't. Rather than ordering individual meal we decided on doing a combine sharing platter as it was late night. The resturant was not that packed that it felt that you couldn't hear the other person across the table. It was great ambiance with the spectacular view of riverside. The staff were all professional and very helpful as we couldn't decide of what dish we would like to try. The food was good, decliouse and while some dish stood out than others. Overall I would say the food was ok/great/ average but not worth the cost. However having said that, we didn't have all the dish on the menu so I can't comment on them.

We’ve been a few times and generally always love it at Chino Latino. The food and drink quality is always very high! Yesterday evening the service was a bit slow, we waited a good 15 minutes before someone asked us for our drinks order. Once ordered, the drinks too a long time to arrive. That aside, there was some evening entertainment, a 3-piece and they were great, the singer was fantastic and had a great voice. Overall a good visit and we’ll be back again soon!

Had the most AMAZING birthday meal here. That tasting menu was exquisite, had a great table by the window and the staff were so attentive. I was given a complimentary birthday dessert which was delicious. Would recommend 10/10 I look forward to coming back

Excellent service, lovely table, great view, great food, amazing waiter. Special birthday and 50 years of friendship well celebrated with bespoke puddings. We loved it.

Saturday Brunch Review. This is based on the Saturday brunch offered by the hotel, it is an all you can eat buffet of sushi and a main meal. So let's start with the buffet, it's very basic, the selection of sushi is poor, very boring salmon and avocado rolls, and cheap veggie options (cost-saving) the only thing salvaging this offering are a few fried taco bites which although very greasy, tasted nice. The main is a chicken Thai green curry which tastes anything like it should, although they are catering for the masses, it shouldn't be too distant from the actual taste of the dish, the only way I could describe it was a cream soup with chicken breast pieces and chestnut mushrooms, bland and very unappetising. The desserts on offer were crème brulee or a brownie, the first being inedible and the second just plain. When you add the drinks and service to the bill, this brunch turns out to be very expensive! The food just isn't up to scratch either, so for these two reasons I'm going to say avoid this Asian brunch.

Waiters were lovely but a little lost at times. Food was exquisite and the value for the chino Latino taster experience was amazing. The setting was very nice and the music was lovely. Good place for a date. I shall be returning.

Very limited selection for the sushi and dessert buffet. More sushi, sashimi and soup selection required. The main (Thai Chicken Curry) wasn’t great. Inauthentic and too sweet. DJ was very good and entertaining.

Chino Latino is a modern Pan-Asian restaurant with a Latin cocktail bar, located in the heart of London with riverside views. The menu celebrates a mix of wild, exotic flavors, and zingy Latino cocktails with some Pan-Asian favorites. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chino Latino and was blown away by the food. I started with the black miso cod, which was cooked perfectly and had a delicious, flaky texture. For my main course, I had the wagyu beef, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. I finished my meal with the churros, which were crispy and doughy and served with a delicious chocolate dipping sauce. The service at Chino Latino was also excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. He also made sure that our drinks were always topped up. The atmosphere at Chino Latino is lively and fun. The restaurant is decorated in a modern, stylish way, and the riverside views are stunning. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Chino Latino. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in London.

Had a great time with my friends at this restaurant. The food was amazing, ( I’m usually not the biggest fan of sushi….. but theirs, I can have everyday!!) service 10/10. Literally counting down the days until I’m back.

Didn’t eat as the service was pathetically slow, 20 minutes at our table and didn’t have our drinks delivered or get any offer of water to the table. When the waitress was questioned, I got excuses and attitude, so we left.

The service was very very slow considering how empty it was, the food wasn’t great, in fact it tasted old and stale, the cocktails were disgusting and need to be updated - overall not a good experience

Chino Latino is excellent we started with a mixture of skewers which were really tasty and I had lamb cutlets in a hot Korean sauce and jasmine rice all cooked to perfection while my wife had salmon again excellent finished off with cheesecake and good value for money
