The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Food was good, service by the staff was amazing as nothing was too much trouble, they catered for everything we asked for. Disappointed in that we had a wedding tea party which was pitched to us as a high end experience by the manager over and over again. On the day we were promised to deliver particular trays with glasses which were non existent. Luckily I didn’t rely on it and bought it from home as a back up. The tea was served in some cheap cold drink cups that were too big and were only half filled (not the best look) The idea of not getting what you paid for and the response from the manager wasn’t great. Although we settled thanked the team and left. Wouldn’t be arranging anything here for the future, clear differences in what a good high end experience looks like…!! Wouldn’t have an issue if it wasn’t pitched as high end. That being said staff on the day were brilliant.

Visited here for the first time last week with a couple of friends, one of whom is Romanian so loves visiting different balti restaurants when he comes over to visit. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. We had various starters, all of which were spot on and really tasty. We all opted for the Naga Chilli Chicken for main. This was awesome. Very hot & spicy hot.. We all really enjoyed it. Plan to visit again in the near future as isn’t far away from me. Cannot fault the service, the food, the beer or the price.

Not being able to choose what you want to eat is just absolutely crazy and it was not good food to make it worth the risk. No amendments to anything allowed, even asking for a spicy curry as part of the whole tables sharer was denied for 14 people. Asked for a menu to order extra sides was told it wasn’t part of the sharer menu so couldn’t. I really feel for the server as she was doing everything she could to facilitate it but had to say “let me go and ask the chef” to something as simple as asking for a naan. Even after this parts of the set menu we were meant to get didn’t turn up and we had to tell them it was missing. Forced charity donation and forced 10% tip on your bill at the end of this and to top it off wouldn’t even tell us what was remaining on the bill after half the party had paid so we had to pay over, when I asked the sever how much total we had paid she just said “that’s perfect” so unknown how much we actually tipped them by the end of it. Servers were fantastic. Food, menu and chef absolutely terrible

The restaurant had a very warm friendly inviting atmosphere. The service was very good quick professional helpful efficient & friendly. We shared bel poori which was delicious with just enough spice but not over spiced. The channa betura was so sumptuous with tamarind infused over the top giving it a tangy flavour. Our main of keema ( lamb mince) with matter (peas) was very tasty coupled with jeera (cumin) rice was a match made in heaven. The battura bread accompanied the dishes very well. If you like street food, i would strongly recommend it. You can either book in advance or just walk in that makes it even more appealing

Food and service is always top notch, anytime we visit the North we make sure to come here for dinner, the food is immaculate and has never disappointed

Went here for valentines and the atmosphere was ok, however, despite there being alot of staff hanging around, it took nearly 45 minutes to get a starter and this was only because they came over to see if we wanted another drink. The food was servicable but the lamb was very overcooked and not tender and chicken was a little dry. They had set meals and for 2 it came to £85 + tip (which they automatically applied and did not deserve). Took about 2 hours to have a starter and main and it wasn't overly busy. Would not recommend and will not be going again

Waited over an hour for our delivery and items missing / by the time the item was re delivered the curry was cold, chips and nann bread were soggy

This restaurant is the best in Leeds, we are a group of retired firefighters who regularly meet up for a few beers and a curry, we've tried loads of Asian restaurants over the years and this is the best by a long way, the service is exceptional and the food is amazing plus the surroundings are fantastic, great atmosphere and the location is second to non being within two minutes of the train station and within easy reach of all bus routes, a great place for couples and groups, cheers fellas, you're the best 👍

Very bad quality of food they served I ordered garlic naan then I received burnt naan even if buy naan in grocery store is better than your naan

Was really good food and our waiter Mukith was outstanding.
