Beautiful food and excellent service! We had a birthday of 20 people and everyone had a great time. All meat was very tender abd really tasty.

Ordered chicken tikka masala, North Indian garlic chicken, mushroom rice, pilaf rice, garlic naan, Best curry. amazing atmosphere. Friendly staffs

Well, what do you say about the most amazing restaurant in Portsmouth. From the moment we entered, the staff and manager were very helpful, polite, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing. As a group of 3, we all had different items from the menu and shared a taste of each other's. The bathrooms are spotless The restaurant is clean, with a lovely ambience. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples, groups and families alike. Well done.

Perfect meal as always the dhaaba lamb is always cooked lovely....also received some very nice chicken noodles very tasty and definitely recommend the atmosphere is always so relaxed portions are big so ne prepared to take some home.

Delicious, flavoursome food! Arrived hot, full of colour and spices. The garlic chicken was lovely, naan, mint chuntney. Everything was hot and tasty, my only criticism was the korma tasted great but texture could be improved to be more thicker, less of a thin substance of sauce.

Wasn’t great tonight. Onion bajies weren’t crispy enough and the dansaks were really spicy and couldn’t eat it!

Had a very nice vegetable Dansak from here last night. Will return.

We stopped here before the ferry and for Fathers Day. The nicest Indian food I have ever tasted, quick service, friendly staff and a lovely chilled atmosphere. I would definitely recommended. See you again Gandhi’s we will be back

We had a lovely meal in The Gandhi tonight & well looked after by the staff. Given a free order of onion bhaji as they thought they were busy with a large group & were keeping us waiting, this was not the case.Staff were very attentive & kind.Thank-you for a lovely meal.

Have ordered with Ghandi before and it was good, but this was atrocious. Food arrived swimming in oil. So much so that 3 of the dishes were completely inedible. Very disappointed

We have ordered from Ghandi before and ha been lovely but this was a real disappointment. My husbands mixed grill had a random prawn in it (thankfully he is not allergic to shell fish), my butter chicken didn’t taste of anything and one of my mushroom rice was missing. Not sure I will order again unfortunately

Wow, Wow, Wow!! What can say, I have been returning to this establishment as honestly its the best in Portsmouth, and I've tried lots but Ghandi is no1 to order from. The food is absolutely amazing, lamb is always tender, chicken moist and everything is cooked to perfection, if you want mediocre dishes go elsewhere. If you want to tantalise your taste buds order from here you won't be disappointed. We shall be returning again and again, shout out to the staff you're brilliant xx

This place is just great. Delivery was on time, driver called when a few minutes away and was very polite. Food arrived popping hot and packaged with care. The meals were delicious, packed with incredible flavours. We love the Gandhi special sauce! It’s a must try. Complements to the chefs, really lovely takeaway.
