The Coriander Blackheath in Greenwich

I have been coming here regularly for 6 years. Stellar food. Very good value for the quality. Wonderful flavours in the curry dishes. Jeera and Coriander rice side dishes are full of interest. Some really great starters too (the salmon for example!) Dining in advised as the dishes are able to be served more appetisingly.

Food had no flavour and is over priced and worst curry I have had for a while, also expensive, save your money

We had a fantastic meal here. They understood our requirements, offered off the menu selections, service was amazing and the dishes were even better. And the value for money was spot on. Definitely coming back

As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by very inviting staff who made me feel comfortable whilst being seated. The food was amazing, with just the right amount of spices. Overall, the food was amazing, and I’ll most definitely be coming back! The entire experience, from the staff to the food to the atmosphere, was 10/10, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going!

Hassan was absolutely lovely. This was our first visit but certainly will not be the last. It was welcoming, romantic, and the food was perfect. Hit the spot!

Absolutely fantastic place, the prices are such good value and the food tastes so fresh. Service with a smile every time, they go above and beyond. I wouldn’t use another Indian/nepalese as any I’ve tried can’t compete.

Best curry ever. Lamb balti is amazing.

I ordered a takeaway last night - chicken vindaloo, lamb biryani and a naan. Naan was very small, biryani wasn't good vindaloo was OK. Woke up later with horrendous food poisoning for 5 hours. I don't know what happened to make the food so toxic but clearly something went seriously wrong.

The food was amazing and although it took a while to cook it was definitely worth the wait! Probably because we came when it had just opened but luckily we were not in any rush. Service was lovely and they gave us little chocolates at the end. Would definitely come again!

Lovely food and service in this restaurant nicely located next to the train station in Westcombe Park. Arzoo looked after us brilliantly.

I tried the Naan bread and the chicken biryani, and i can honestly say it was the best I’ve had. The meats were tender and full of smoky flavor, and the biryani was aromatic and rich. I am already planning my next visit.

We usually order from TC Blackheath once a month. The food is exceptional. Always tasty and delicious. The staff are always friendly and polite. We have just had our order delivered tonight and the food was even more delicious than before. Well worth the money.

Visited this restaurant recently, and while it had a promising ambiance, the experience fell short of expectations. Firstly, vegetarian options were limited, so not much unfortunately for us to choose from. I tried the paneer shashlik and veg jalfrezi. Both dishes were average in taste. The service was another disappointment. It bordered on wait staff being slightly aggressive. Additionally, there were discrepancies in the offers: what was communicated at the time of reservation did not match what was actually provided. It left a feeling of inconsistency and diminished trust. Finally, a service charge was added to the bill, and no signage indicated this policy. While I have no objection to service charges in general, transparency about such fees is essential for a positive dining experience. Overall, I’d say the restaurant has potential but needs to improve on consistency, transparency, and food quality to create a truly enjoyable experience.

They delivered a starter instead of a main, spoke to me like an idiot even though i could see main written on my receipt, then shouted at me and hung up.

Since we found this neighbourhood 10years ago, we wouldn’t go anywhere else for a The coriander Westcombe Park Forget the fancy looking places in Blackheath. This is all about the best quality food in a friendly staff & relaxed setting. Spice levels are authentic too! 100% recommended. We will come back soon once a week. Thank you Coriander ☺️😊❤️👍.

I have been eating at The Coriander for years. I used to live locally, but I still make an effort to come back if I'm ever in the vicinity. The food is delicious and the service is always incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Don’t get confused by its name, its not an Indian restaurant it’s Bangladeshi restaurant food might be good of Bangladesh cuisine but Indian cuisine is worst at this restaurant. Whatever food I ordered was horrible tasteless. Not recommended if you think it’s Indian restaurant or going for Indian cuisine.

I’ve ordered out a few times and every time it hits the spot; the food is full of flavour and options with spice levels depending on your tolerance. Tonight I decided to eat in and it was super, good table setups, no blaring music - just what you want. The staff are very friendly and just the right level of attentive; even offered me a free drink! Definitely will be back!

Wat can I say worst food I’ve had ever from a curry shop food was bland cold and tasteless the sheek kebab was pal under seasoned and just taste like play dough not good at all had a few curry’s from here but seems like it’s gone down hill only thing nice was the poppadoms and then even that was stale gave us a bad stomach probs recommend not ordering from here

This was the second time we ordered a delivery from here. First time wasn't brilliant but I called the restaurant before placing my order and explained the things that wasn't upto my standards. The man who answered the phone. Assured me he would tell the chef how we wanted our food done. Ie naans done thinner so that they wasn't stoggy or doughy. Extra chilli's on the chilli naan breads. Even my garlic naan wasn't nice. And my dads two chilli naans where terrible still doughy and stoggy. The worst thing about the meal was my dads chicken madras. The sauce was so watery. Nothing like a madras sauce. I did call the restaurant later on that evening to ask why they hadn't done our food as we asked for. And all he said I did tell the chef. Looks to me like they are watering down the sauces to cut cost. Just not on.

We have been both dining in and getting take out from Coriander for many years now and they never fail to impress. The food is delicious and full of flavour, with balanced spice. While the service is friendly, attentive and excellent.

Amazing food, loved everything we ordered. We had the butter chicken and the tandoori prawns with garlic nan and coconut rice. Hasan Habib was so sweet, kind and super diligent with serving us. We love the service we got and we continue to visit at least once or twice a month. Best Indian food in the Blackheath/ Greenwich area!

We ordered food from the restaurant today. Whilst the first curry that arrived was good, they forgot to send out, or I suspect make, the second curry for my partner. We rang them up to say it hadn’t arrived and they arranged for a driver to come send it out. I also asked for a can of coke to be added to order as a goodwill gesture. It then took them half an hour to deliver the second curry by which time the other food we ordered had gone cold. When the driver arrived, he then demanded money for the can of coke to which we stated we didn’t have and shouldn’t have to pay given the mistake they made. He then stated this “wasn’t his problem” so he left with the drink. This was absolutely poor on their part customer service wise and has put a dampener on the food we would have otherwise enjoyed. Not to mention the curry that did arrive had an embarrassingly small amount of prawns in the curry. Would not recommend.
