Shezan Restaurant in Kensington and Chelsea

Celebrated my sister’s birthday here and we had an amazing time. The food and service was great. Omar and Pina were lovely and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant :)

Having twice previously been here I thoroughly enjoyed a return trip and cannot fault Shezan. Sublime surroundings with attentive unintrusive service and excellent traditional cuisine.

Very authentic, kind and polite staff. Most polite staff we ever had. Food was extremely delicious. Ambiente was calm and relaxed. I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

We ordered the Tandoori platter and the lamb biryani. Honestly, the tandoori platter didn’t have much of a smoked / grilled flavour to it as other tandoori platters do. The green chilli sauce was nice. As for the lamb biryani…I found it quite bland and I have tasted far better with much more flavour. Overall, I’d say disappointing and not great value for money. I had mentioned in the booking that we were coming to celebrate an occasion and nothing was prepared like a little cake as a nice gesture. When compared to other restaurants, this was disappointing in terms of service. Decor was beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante qualche giorno fa. Eravamo in 4: io, mio marito e i nostri due figli di 11 e 15 anni. Abbiamo trovato una cucina indiana veramente di ottima qualità ed un'accoglienza estremamente cortese (la signora che ci ha servito vi ha consigliato le pietanze meno speziate per il nostro undicenne). Sinceramente è il miglior ristorante indiano in cui abbiamo cenato fin ora (ed un po'ne abbiamo provati :-) ). Menzione d'onore per il Mango Lassi: strepitoso!

If I could give 100 rating I would! Food - incredible, Service - incredible, Decor and Setting - incredible! I was looking for a restaurant to host 30 of my closest friends and family for my wedding lunch and from the first time speaking to Omar until the end of our event, Omar and his team were incredible! The service provided and friendliness of the staff was top tier, making sure we had everything we needed and never had to worry throughout the day. We had a mixture of meat and vegetarian eaters and Omar went above and beyond with ensuring everyone was catered for. The food itself is out of this world - the quality of meat used and the spices through each dish were outstanding. All of the guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, and I cannot recommend Shezan enough! They really did everything to make sure our guests had a fantastic experience!

We could not have had a nicer experience. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant is highly decorated with Indian artifacts and art. It was intimately lit with table candles. We can’t tolerate highly spiced food, so asked for recommendations and the advice we received turned out to be perfect. One of us had the lamb shank (Nihaari) which consisted of two very meaty shanks in a very nice sauce. My partner had the butter chicken (Murgh makhani) in a lovely curry sauce. We shared a dish of cauliflower and potatoes. We enjoyed our food very much. Our wait staff were most cordial and helpful.

What a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting! Our hotel booked us here and the lovely hostess was warm and welcoming. Our server guided us to dishes that were flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend.

Absolutely overpriced! 100€ for 2 tikka masala, a cheese nan, a lassi.. No, no, you're not dreaming, plus they add things to the bill that we didn't take! Waitress who was blowing because she had to close the restaurant! To flee

Here is the return of my evening at first glance a beautiful decoration, a pleasant and smiling waitress but there is a but. Be careful, your meal will cost you very, very expensive, you'll tell me it's close to Harrods, but the restaurant just opposite offers prices halved. A bill of 100th for two tikka Massala (which looks more like butter chicken) a lassi and a cheese nan when we look at the bill we see a billing of 8th surely not order the entry to bring back and offered but in no case specify. You have been warned for seasoned wallets!!! there is really better reason why I do not recommend it is not worth the price in any case!!!!

I had the pleasure of going to Shezan for the first time with a group of work friends and it turned out to be an amazing night to remember. The food was delicious and so fresh. Every dish I tried left me wanting more, but in my opinion, the lamb chops stole the show and was the talking point for all of us. The staff were great and we even got to meet the owner of Shezan and her family who were lovely. It's a real family business and great to see. I'm looking forward to going again.

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. Tucked away off of the Main Street, the decor alone is something to visit for. When you add the amazing customer service and impeccable food you can’t lose. I would recommend this to anyone who loves food and a great atmosphere.

Savored some authentic Pakistani dishes, and the experience was delightful. The biryani, with its perfect blend of spices and tender meat, was a feast for the senses. The lamb shank, cooked to succulent perfection, fell off the bone, melting in the mouth. It's rare to find such genuine and high-quality Pakistani cuisine that truly honors its rich heritage.

More about the experience than the meal itself. We ordered a Nihari and Kadahi gosht, speaking as an Indian myself the food is not authentic and rather flavourless, especially not worth the prices. The one takeaway is the atmosphere and setting is probably one of the best in London, but not a place I would return to.

Nicest Indian/Pakistani restaurant I have come across

The decor of this place is extremely beautiful. As we walked in, we were greeted in a warm manner. We felt such a calm and welcoming presence. There were candles lit everywhere. We recieved appetizers in front of us very quickly. Our order was taken promptly. The food was mouth watering. The service at this place was of a high standard and all staff members were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. There are many options and so much to choose from! We really enjoyed our experience.

Très joli restaurant, ambiance tamisée. Terriblement déçue par le manque de saveurs des plats qui étaient plutôt fades et ce dîner ne reflétait pas la cuisine indienne traditionnelle qui est si relevée habituellement . Accueil standard, service trop long.

En arrivant au restaurant nous avons été charmés par l atmosphère très feutrée et joli décor. Quelle deception de goûter un mixed grill tikka plutôt sec. Et encore pire aucun de nos main courses n était savoureux. Nous connaîssons bien la cuisine indienne et le goût n avait rien d indien. De nouveau poulet sec comme réchauffé avec la sauce ou halal nous pensons. Le butter chicken n avait qu un goût de sauce tomate ! Pas de coriandre fraîche ni de goût subtil des épices.Meme les naans sont devenus secs très vite et le riz au safran également. Nous avons tous laissé la moitié de nos plats. Bref pour 317 euros a 4 cela ne vaut pas du tout le détour. Le rapport qualité prix est nul. Nous avons informé le personnel de notre grande déception.

This restaurant is a real find. A bit difficult to locate but well worth the effort. Really nice relaxed setting and interesting decor. Our party was made to feel welcome on arrival and throughout the evening. Really good food. Interesting flavours. Decent portion sizes especially the rice dishes. Excellent service. I wish it was closer to where I live. Reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful experience at Shezan. The service was very attentive and friendly. We loved everything we ordered. The portions are not huge, but there is plenty and we left quite full. I highly recommend Shezan if you are looking for Indian food in London.

I took a group of 28 Queen fans visiting from Japan here as part of a tour in the UK. The team provided great hospitality with high quality fresh and beautifully presented food for the group. I can warmly recommend Shezan as as an authentic family run restaurant.

Despite the cosiness and great service, the food was absolutely tasteless!! The chiken madras is supposed to be a speciality in any Indian restaurant..This chicken and sauce was very dull. Extremely disappointing when the restaurant looks really nice inside!!!

My stay at Shezan was fabulous from start to finish. After being warmly welcomed by the staff, we had beer and appetizers in front of us in less than 2 minutes. Our order was taken promptly, with the owner himself offering his warmest recommendations. The food was outstanding, and the beer was top-notch. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade ice cream. 8.9/10.

Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the food my favourite forages were the kyhber Karahi and paneer makhni. Really enjoyed the meals served with fresh hot garlic naan. Mix grill was delicious and flavourful. The staff provided great service and shot out to Pina who gave great recommendations and always stopped by to make sure we were happy as well as her colleague. Would recommend this place. Great dinner tonight. We tried the Paneer, Aloo Gobi, & Garlic Naan, all were excellent. Restaurant is well decorated and creates an interesting atmosphere.

Dined here tonight and was blown away by the amazing hospitality and tasty and very well presented food. We had a few vegetarian mains with naans and pulao rice, followed by tasty rasmalai and everything was fabulous! The ambience was great as well.

Dipendenti sorridenti e socievoli. La conduzione familiare crea un ambiente piacevole e sereno. Il titolare Omar è un ragazzo giovane e intraprendente insieme alla mamma Nives formano un team all'avanguardia. Consiglio vivamente di provare questa piacevole esperienza culinaria.
