Undercooked rice, ruined my meal, no excuse!

My order was over an hour late unfortunately. I want to let people know that the chicken tikka masala is very sweet in case you’re not used to that.

One of the best meals I've had in Belfast! Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere! Staff were so friendly!

Such amazing food and lovely service. Waitress D was so attentive and sweet, I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! After trying the onion bahjis here, nowhere else’s compare.

Food is always great, delivery time kept getting pushed back and delivery driver had issues with locating my address even though I've confirmed the location on just eat also.

6 of us came last night without a reservation. We were seated upstairs (downstairs was full and had a lovely atmosphere). The waiter was very attentive and the food was gorgeous. 4 people had the thali which was lovely. We also had a monkfish curry which was good and the butter chicken which was one of the best we'd had. Would definitely recommend

I ordered food from Archana using Uber Eats today and I dont know where to start. Firstly, Aloo Chole chaat was missing from the order. While I was disappointed, I was really hopeful all other food would make my tummy happy. I was so wrong. How can an Indian chef screw up a simple dal tadka? Their Dal is made of Chana and not the pigeon peas. It was also not properly cooked. Paired with boiled rice it tasted awful. I had also ordered onion bhaji and veg Manchurian as starters. And to my surprise, Manchurian balls were actually the onion bhajis tossed in soy sauce. Attached photograph has one Manchurian and one onion bhaji and I cannot tell the difference. Either the restaurant is named such to disguise as Indian or the chef hasn’t been to Indian culinary school or both. Beware fellow connoisseurs. If you’re after real Indian food, look elsewhere.

First time in Archana and it definitely won’t be the last! The food was wonderful and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The best Indian I have had in Belfast! The best chicken tikka masala I’ve also ever had and I visited India this year for a month and tried my fair share! Had a wonderful time and service was impeccable!! Telling everyone about this spot but you need to see for yourself!

Archana food quality used to be great but last night was such a major disappointment. Starter plates were greasy and our mixed vegetable platter contained 2x onion bhajis & 1x pakora which were hard & dry, flipping them over we found they were also burnt so we sent back to the kitchen and declined a replacement course. While waiting on our mains, I decided to read other customer reviews & was tempted to leave but decided to try for ourselves. Both plates for our main course was served cold & my knife appeared to have been used as a screwdriver as the head was bent. It was clear that as the 2x waitresses watched us that we were not impressed. The head waiter asked if everything was ok to which we replied how disappointing this experience was to which he assured the same family owned this restaurant. 5 mins later our main course arrived with fresh Peshwari nann bread which contained a powerful portion of coconut, Tandoori chicken appeared to have been oven cooked, unfortunately both sauces were somewhat bland with little texture & clearly water based as it surfaced to the top when left alone for a few mins. The lack of quality may have been due to the local man cooking in the kitchen cooking Indian food. This experience was at a cost of £70 which explains why now only 3 people were dinning here during peak time. A note to Management: Issues listed here must be addressed otherwise this once, vibrant establishment will fail to attract repeat business.

Nunca deja de impresionar como restaurante. Como alguien que trabajó en Birmingham durante muchos años y visitó la India en el pasado, puedo responder por Archana como uno de los pocos restaurantes indios auténticos en la ciudad. Reemplaza un entorno pretencioso con comida de calidad y atractiva.

I have enjoyed delicious, nutritious and fresh food before taking my second flight (stopover in Belfast). Also enjoyed meeting welcoming staff and meeting the most welcoming and amazing restaurant owner ever! I will eat there again whenever life takes me back to the city!

Came here for dinner. Onion bhaji was tasty however the chicken pakora starter was dry and overcooked. I had the madrass for main which was hot but completely flavourless with a watery consistency. My partner had Punjabi Masala which was tasteless and needed salt. Did not like how the curry was presented as we had to eat straight from the pan. Naan bread wasn’t crispy and could have done with a few more minutes in the oven. Much better Indian restaurants out there than this place. Service was only reason I didn’t give a one star.

Beautiful meal tonight in Archana. We had Aloo Gobin and Thali. Chef made it extra spicy as requested. Service was great as usual. Best Indian food in Belfast by quite some distance. Highly recommend.

Nice small restaurant right in the middle of Belfast. Fantastic food, lovely staff. Very very worth the price. Would recommend to anyone (even if you don't handle spice well)

This is my favourite place to go in Belfast and I’ll travel to here for takeaway over anywhere closer. Everyone that works here is friendly and engaging, you can tell it’s a family run place. Highly recommend!!

Lovely place, atmosphere and staff. Food was tasty but would’ve liked more seasoning. The fish starter was quite dry with no sauce so had to ask for some. Enjoyed the experience but a few tweaks needed to make the food stand out more.

Our order was missing about half the food. Just Eat made the experience worse at every turn. I will never order from this restaurant again or use this abysmal food delivery app again.

This has to be the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever sat down to (and there’s been a lot) The main course sauce was so thin and watery! I’ve genuinely microwaved better curries from supermarkets! Shocking !

Got part of the order wrong I ordered pilau rice and got cauliflower thing but was still lovely, everything else was right and food great.

Was expecting Indian-style cuisine, but this was a total dissatisfaction, never choose this spot in future I would say 3/10. And the customer service was not upto the mark.

Arvind provided excellent service during our visit to Archana Restaurant. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. His knowledge of the menu and prompt service were impressive. Highly recommend💯

I recently visited Archana and had a fantastic dining experience! The vegetarian meal was absolutely delicious, with every dish full of flavor. The starters were especially outstanding, setting the tone for a great meal. Additionally, the service was excellent – the person(arvind) who served us was very polite and humble. I highly recommend Archana to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience with perfect indian taste.

This restaurant is small(ish) inside but has wonderful service and amazing flavours. I had the evening Thali and my husband the Jalfrezi with mushroom rice. So pleased we didn’t have a starter as both were large dishes. Great to say the quality was excellent and flavours were delicious 👏

Very tasty! Couldn’t find a Chettinad anywhere else on JustEat and it’s my favourite so thought I’d try Archana! It didn’t disappoint. The portions are a good size and we got free Bhajis for spending over £25. It was a whole portion, not just one! Would definitely order again. Thank you!

Just had the mixed tikka starter, and it was really nice, exactly what I wanted. The accompanying chilli sauce dip they give you was spectacular (seems to be blended chilli's and salt). Chicken vindaloo was super tasty and ingredients fresh (portion was slightly small). Always tended to by staff and checked up on. Prices are decent. Loved this place. I was looking for spicy Indian food and I got what I wanted. Satisfied. P.s. curry's don't come with a side, this is priced separately. Typical, I guess, though, and the same as in England.

Food was great as usual. However onions don’t usually come in a Madras and I specifically asked for no onions to be sure. If you spend £50 on a take away, it should be correct

Quiet when I visited for the second time but this restaurant did not disappoint. Fabulous Punjabi food. A good choice and not exorbitantly expensive. If there were six stars the food would get them. Really! Give it a try. Proper job!

Absolutely delicious food and the most attentive staff and owner. We have eaten here before but we live outside Belfast so not too often. Each time the food is incredible. We absolutely loved every mouthful. We went with friends and they agreed it was great. Having travelled all over India for many years I found the quality and taste and spice level very authentic and tasty. I had the lamb and spinach, my husband had the lamb madras and both were super. We had a garlic naan and a pershwari naan:. my only issue is they don’t do Mojito’s, but the wine and company made up for it haha! Would not hesitate to recommend this place and can’t wait to get back. In our opinion it’s the best Indian in the city of Belfast

Very disappointing ,watery sauce lacking in taste and body.Veg dish just had peas and green beans ,ordered the same dishes the week before and they were very good ,Archana has inconsistent quality.

Excellent food, arrived quickly, and very nice delivery driver!

Were usually dining here with family. We met an owner before who was super nice and careing about our son and the food was outstanding, we felt nice Indian hospitality (like in my friend’s home). Butter chicken was yellow nutty and delicious. Today butter chicken was red and extremely spicy, on the top of that we were charged 3£ for chutney that usually come free with papadoms🙄first time I see this attitude of greed in Indian restaurant. We weren’t asked about spices, but food was never like that spicy and watery, before it was nutty and mild (also without asking) No lollies for kids anymore, no welcoming atmosphere and despite that we told about different taste and colour of the same dish in the same place-nobody cared, except two mint candies. For the bill of 40+£ you expect more. Total disappointment and shocking that such a lovely place turned into commercialised fast-food, where nobody expects taste or hospitality, but with the high bill for what you get. We don’t have the favourite Indian place to go to with family in Belfast, such a pity..

This was the best Indian food I've had for a long time and certainly the best I've had in Belfast. Every part of it was packed with flavour and the chicken and lamb were both super tender and great quality! This will now be my regular!

A varied menu for the fan of curries. Very pleasant staff who ensure you know what to order. Environment clean and friendly. A couple of Magners with a Dhansak with a Chilli Naan, what's not to like? Would visit again without hesitation.

Well this was my first time in Archana restaurant and I did go to a few Indian restaurants in mainland and a couple of restaurants in Northern Ireland Surprisingly I was amazed with the taste , quality and such friendly staff it was Ashok who served us and the gentleman was really good in explaining things with a pleasant and positive attitude.Normally when having Indian restaurant abroad they stick with the local taste and flavors but this place never had such issues Highly recommended and see you soon.

Love this place, order regularly. Only teething issue I've ever had with this place was the delivery drivers and never the restaurant. The food is excellent for the prices. Your green chilli chutney is so addictive. I'd love to know the ingredients for it.

I usually go and collect my order from Archana as their delivery drivers are absolutely useless. My GPS location is confirmed on the Just Eat app, I give full, specific details on how to locate my apartment block (which is 1/4 miles from Archana) but the drivers STILL call me saying they don't know where my address is. 5 star rating for the food itself but if I could give some of their drivers -5 stars I would. Will be collecting my order from now on.

Garlic naans were best, samosas were good as well. Lamb gravy was too sweet from coconut. Tandoori fish was below average. The daal tadka was best among all. Although management need to be police to customer. Lot of scope to improve on.

Food is always lovely from here but unfortunately the Just Eat driver decided he wanted to help himself to some of my order. Archana tape the bags closed but on this occasion one bag was taped and the other had been taped closed but opened. Not the restaurants fault so have scored on the food quality which was delicious as per usual. Just Eat sort your drivers out this happens too often.
