Worst curry I have had in a long time got bhuna and patia both curry’s tasted the same would not recommend kebab meat looked like frank furter sausages joke

Nice food reasonably priced. Outside signage looks a bit run down but the premises are clean and tidy. Kids portions are good.

Food took almost 2 hours to come from I placed the order. Also, the madras sauce was basically a soup which made it unenjoyable. It is unfortunate as I would normally order from Sonali at least once a week as a treat and I would usually enjoy it but I think I'll look at other options from now on as for the money I am spending I would like a better experience

Delicious food and great service. Enough options for vegetarians. I liked everything I ordered (went for 2 nights is a row). When ordered mango lassi ask not to add salt (of you are a fan of sweet mango lassi).

haven't ate from Sonali in a long time. ordered on Friday and it was so good that i couldn't wait until next weekend to order again. Nice portions, packed full of flavour and arrived piping hot and in good time.

The nan bread is the worst nan bread we have ever eaten. It was tough as though it had been reheated a few times. Inedible and almost impossible to chew.

Food was nice quick easy and effective would recommend if your looking for an easy bite which Doesn’t take long to come, polite staff always coming over with a smile on there face 👌

Think it's bad that you don't get a bit of salad with every order...my side of potatoes were rock hard! Usually love this Indian food but 2nites was very disappointing

We ordered vegetarian food. While ordering we told them to specifically make them spicy. While going in, we didn't have high hopes. However when we got the food we were pleasantly surprised that the items were made spicy and also tasteful. Please note : Tell them specifically if you need the food to be spicy in any of the UK Indian restaurants. By default they make it bland to cater to everyone's need. We learned the lesson from past experience in other places! The price was also very reasonable. One of the best indian food we have eaten. Staff was very friendly too. The lighting seems to be little dark for our comfort.

Excellent meal - highly recommended. Small cosy restaurant and good menu. Reasonably priced beer and wine selection. One of the best Dhansak that I have eaten and I’ve had several over the years. The restaurant was quiet - could have been the atrocious weather , but I expect that there is more focus on the takeaway business. That said i would recommend a visit to this Indian restaurant if you are looking for good food and service

Was confused as to why i didn’t see any Indians reviewing this place and now I know why. ITS SO BLAND. Genuinely the food is not good, the picture of rice is meant to be Biryani but it tastes entirely of cardamom and nothing else (for £13), we were all super disappointed. Please don’t get it from here. Also they don’t provide sauces or anything with the chicken which is a huge surprise for me. Yeah give it a miss.

I ordered delivery and it took almost 2 hours to arrive. Couldn’t get any updates from the app because it was delivered by their staff. The food taste amazing until there’s hair in my food. I didn’t notice until it was in my mouth and I had to take it out only to realise it’s hair. Cleanliness should have been observed. Really hope the restaurant could get back to me because I think making a call to the restaurant won’t change anything.

The food arrived an hour late and I am genuinely disgusted with it. The vegetable korma was made with frozen veg, and the water from the veg had thawed and made the food soaking and cold. Every item was soggy and cold. The only warm thing was soft drink. I haven’t ordered from here before, and first impressions matter. I’ve contacted just eat to tell them the food is available for the restaurant to collect, as I won’t be paying for it.

It's the second best Indian restaurant I've been to (the first one is in Lancaster). We came at 10:30pm, we were all alone in the restaurant by ourselves with my sister and the food and service were absolutely amazing. We have the greatest time thanks to this torrific place. Thank you again so very much for your kindness!

The jalfrezi was watery, really watery, I ordered two poppadoms and got one, the chips were soggy. Kebab was dry, overall really not great

Unfortunately didn’t enjoy this meal. I normally get the chicken rezalla from another Indian on Lisburn road, thought I’d give this a try due to price difference. Wasn’t nice at all, very over powering coriander taste. Normally this dish is a rich creamy sauce. Delivery time etc was fine so maybe other dishes are to peoples taste.

Called in on a Monday night. We were the only diners for a while . I’m really shocked as the freshness, quality and quantity of food was top notch. Not from the area I can strongly recommend this restaurant.

Perfect Lamb jalfrezi was delicious and lamb melted in the mouth. Kids loved the chicken tika. Look no further than Sonali for a treat that doesn’t disappoint.

Food was tasteless, chips and poppadoms were soggy! Just went to drink my bottle of sprite that I ordered with the meal and best before date is 5.4.22 !!

Had Dinner Two nights in a row, the food was that good. Made our stay in Belfast even better. Great food, and lovely staff.

very accommodating, we tried to find a late evenung dinner after a concert in Belfast, and this was one of the few places that would serve us at 10 o’clock. What a delightful surprise, food and ser ice was fantastic. My son-in-law had never had Indian food, and said it was some of the best food he’s ever had.

Amazing Meal and Staff, myself and a friend came from England and were visiting Belfast for a couple of days. We had the mixed Starters, mixed grill, chicken korma, rice and naan. It was an amazing meal and would highly recommend if in Belfast!!

Would recommend the tandoori king prawn masala & the vegetable Sag curry <3

Been here many a time, food always top notch, decor could do with upgrade but not there for the decor. Birthday celebration, after being let down at last minute by a nearby Indian restaurant, Sonali took a booking with no notice for 6 people on a busy Saturday night and impressed as always. Staff all friendly and informative regarding meal choice
