Great food. Brilliant that they are open at lunchtime.

Takeaway meal, patia chicken, so hot/spicy we could not taste the chicken. Numb lips and tongue were not what we were expecting. Had we been told beforehand we would have chosen differently. Perhaps a little yoghurt would have been a good accompaniment . The restaurant was very well presented, staff smartly dressed and attentive, would i try again? Probably, but I would check the hot/spice rating first.

Food was cold and had to be heated the curry was tasteless.

On my recent visit this place, me and my family enjoyed very much. ❤️ Atmosphere was lovely with friendly staff. The food was amazing, exactly what I was looking for. Jharna restaurant is now one my favourite restaurant, where I can go again and again.

Myself and my partner dined here on Saturday night the service was exceptional from we walked in. The food was excellent I highly recommend jharna Indian restaurant for a nice relaxing eating experience.

It was a nice experience I had in Jharna. Very friendly staff and a quiet and beautiful atmosphere. The tandoori Seabass is delicious. While eating Garlic nann I really felt that I'm in India. In Jharna only I feel the original tandoor making foods. Thanks to team Jharna 🤗🤗

Where to start, the food is always exceptional, whether dinning at Jharna or getting a takeaway or delivery. All the staff in the restaurant are always friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Using the Jharna app to order takeaway or delivery is quick and easy plus it can work out cheaper than using just eat. Deliveries are usually pretty quick ;) I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I love Jharna food. I hadn't been there in a while, but our friends are very frequent diners there. I can appreciate the need to run a simpler menu and up prices, which now makes it a slightly pricier night out. What irked me was the fact they they handed me the bill for payment, never said they automatically applied £30 service charge, and said nothing when I upped the bill by another £37 to a total of £360 for the eight of us (BTW main courses only...two bottles wine and a few Cobras). I fully accept that, despite having my correct glasses and being a bit old fashioned in generally simply adding 10% for the staff, that that is my fault. But respect is a two way thing, and I felt quite aggrieved and annoyed that it was not pointed out to me that service had already added within the bill when I added more. For me, that is bad practice and a black marker against my once favourite Indian restaurant.

Stunning. Excellent service from very pleasant staff, & great food. They’ve a choice of a house (sweet) or traditional (hot) jalfreezi, I tried the latter for takeout. 5 star’s & I will definitely return. Edit: 2 years later trying the same restaurant but sitting in, same great service & flavours, still 5 stars.

Best Indian restaurant in Northern Ireland.

We were close to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were welcomed by friendly staff and ordered from the 2 course lunch special menu. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will return when in the area again.

Always get a great meal here, staff are friendly and attentive. Their jalfrezi is particularly good, especially if you choose the slightly hotter version. Update: it's become a regular thing now after the NI games to pay a visit, thoroughly enjoyable, Cobras are always cold and there's a decent selection of Red wines to choose from. Highly recommended. Tried the chilli massala and karahi recently both of which were superb.

Superb Lunch!! First time visiting this Indian restaurant, exceptional flavours, and super freshly prepared ingredients. The aromatic spices infused each dish, creating a delightful culinary experience. The attentive service and cosy ambience added to the overall charm. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic taste of Indian cuisine.

As An Indian restaurant Good place for business meeting with ambience and good service. As an Indian you wont grt the food as expected to indian or asian standards to be true. Felt all good, gave a reasonable tip, we thought... until we studied our bill! 10% Service charge added to the bill. Is this normal practice? Every small item was added, unlike any restaurant I have been to before. Sorry, but we won't be back 😢 oh BTW not wheelchair friendly. Stairs only/ no lift

Breads (paratha, chapati and naan all 3) were not either prepared properly or not re-heated correctly. Daal was good, paneer curry was ok, but difficult to finish all with not-fully-cooked breads. Delivery was quick.

Food was full of sugar every course , sheek Java’s had bone in it so I couldn’t continue to eat the rest and it was £40. They must have changed chiefs as it used to be good but not for me ever again

Had a booking for Tuesday 27th June for 6 people. When we arrived they had a notice on the door that read “due to staff shortages, we are closed on Tuesdays until further notice.” A call to tell us & save a journey would have been appreciated.

Best lunch spot on the Lisburn Road, 2 course lunch for £14, the courses are fan favourites and the portions are perfectly sized for mid day.

The food arrived on time, tasted as though it had already been cooked and reheated. Rubbery chicken, couldn't cut through it. Both my husband and I ended up leaving both currys and eating only the naan bread. Very expensive food for very poor quality.

The food was pretty basic, I’ve eaten in the restaurant before and liked it however this time it wasn’t great. I ordered the king prawn puri, there was about 5 small prawn max and the Puri was just thrown in in town of it. I also ordered the chicken bhuna - not sure how’s it’s possible but zero flavour and the rice was pretty greasy. I wouldn’t order again. Rated restaurant service 5 however didn’t have any interaction - delivery driver was nice and the restaurant threw in a couple of popadoms

Went on NYE. It was busy but a few tables free. We waited 25 minutes to be seated. There were 6 tables sitting empty. We were then eventually seated. A further 25 minutes passed. Not one member of staff approached us even when asked from a distance. We then left. I think they were more worried if we were doing a runner rather than addressing the poor service.

The restaurant is located up a short set of stairs. The restaurant was very well laid out and had lovely decor. We were greeted by a lot of friendly waiting staff. There was a lovely roaring fire on when we arrived which made it really cosy. We had a mixed starter and 2 main meals as well as 2 nan breads. The food was delicious. The rice and nan are separate unfortunately so that added to the cost. We all enjoyed our food and to round off the evening, we had an Irish whiskey which was very nice indeed 😀

Service always welcoming and attentive. This was our second visit within a month,previous visit fantastic all around. Food this visit overall okay but my starter was very expensive for quantity and quality.£9.50 for 3 prawns which where just not up to standard. I did not mention as my partner was treating me. Happy to discuss with management further if so desired. Unfortunately we will not be returning, at least for the near future.

Food wasn't good. We went as a family, the starter was supposed to be host, but it was brought cold, then that forced to change the order for stater. Next then was main course , that also wasn't good enough.
