Super service, but the food was simple street food!!!

The place is so nice and the staff are lovely and friendly .

Myself and my partner arived at 7 spice slightly before our booking time. Before we had even stepped into the resteraunt, we were asked if we were interested in going inside. We explained we had a reservation, we were told this was fine, however the staff member just walked away from us without offering a seat. We headed inside and had another staff member ask us how we were, we responded saying we had a booking, only for this staff member to also walk away from us without saying anything. It was only when we approached the hostess stand and said we had a reservation did we get ushered to a table. We sat down and had menus handed to us. Around a minute later we were asked what drinks we wanted. At this point we had only just taken off our coats, also, since there was only one drinks menu, I had looked at around 2 pages of what was available. We asked for more time. We ordered our drinks and a bottle of tap water for the table. We then received a single glass of tap water. The food however was delicious, no faults there. During the meal, we had lots of staff hovering around us as we were seated near the door. Often 2-3 at a time. It was clear the manager was micromanaging his staff infront of guests. We felt watched as well as hurried for our meal, to give an example, the second I emptied my beer bottle into my glass, I had someone take the bottle away as if they had seen me do so, I was mid conversation. The resteraunt looks nice, the food is great but we just felt rushed, watched and harassed the whole time. Won't be going again. Also, the single toilet in the mens is wobbly!

Absolutely lovely atmosphere, food and service through our time in there. The quality of the food and cost was amazing. I would travel from England to Belfast for their food again. Brilliant

I have recently visited 7 spice along with my friends and I must say that the entire experience was wonderful from the delicious food impeccable service and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience! Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish! I’m looking forward to my next visit!! 👌

We have spent the night in one of their domes and had a fabulous experience. We have travelled from Cork for a birthday celebration and the owner made sure to let us feel super welcomed and well catered for. All the staff is super friendly and professional, we’ve exchanged chats and jokes throughout the night and they have helped us with all the questions we had on the menu. The food is AMAZING and the price is definitely lower than what you’d expect from such a fancy restaurant like 7 Spices. They even offered Baby Guinness shots at the end of the night. We will definitely will be sure to book again when we’ll travel back to Belfast.

I would give this spot 7 stars if I could. Incredible flavours in every meal.

The owner was in front of house! Greeting his guests, extremely professional attitude, as for the food, simply outstanding from starters to desert. Friendly staff, couldn't do enough... be back every trip.... 100% recommended.

The food was actually nice the problem I had was the pricing. When I went to pay I had to pay a gratuity of either 10 20 or 30 percent 🤔 my bill was 83 pounds 97 euro for two people with one drink each?

This place used to be the such a good Indian but the last time me and my family went here all the sauce's tasted different and watered down and my father good food poisoned by the lamb and was sevearly sick. we are making a complaint about this disgusting experience

The atmosphere in the pod was so amazing it was the most peaceful and enjoyable dining I have ever had I will be back! The food is amazing as well very well presented and taste is very well cooked! I definitely would recommend this place and the staff are so lovely

First time I have been here and the food was exceptional, I think it might be my new favourite Indian in Belfast. Staff was very polite & attention to detail to their customers was amazing made me feel very at ease as they were very friendly and nice. Atmosphere was really comfy. We booked on first table so we could try for our first time and we will be back to pay full price as the food was top standard and worth every penny. Thank you for the free baby Guinness me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will be back 10/10 for food, service and prices☺️☺️

By any standards, this is an exceptional restaurant. The food is superb, the staff are super courteous and friendly, the decor is pleasant and contemporary and the service is impeccable. I went with friends for a birthday meal. My friends had brought a cake - not only did the restaurant present it beautifully with a garnish of strawberries but also served it with complimentary glasses of Tia Maria and Baileys which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.

Everything was delicious. The portions are quite large. From cocktails I asked for something sweet, they advised me to take it with coffee.... I think it was a joke. I re-ordered a French cocktail (pictured)

Booked an outside private seated, heated pod for the 2 of us to enjoy a meal and some privacy to talk, as well as eat some wonderful food.. The service was perfect, the food spot on, and superb flavours on all our meals and courses, balanced with a wonderful setting. Chose some special meals, and they were superb 👌 👏 👍 A really enjoyable conversation with Luthfulz, chatting about shirts - yes shirts 😀 - and the restaurant as well. Had a truly great time and will definitely be back again soon..

This is my first ever bad review. Booked a table for 7.30pm, didn’t get seated until 8.10pm. When asked what we would like to drink they took my partners order and ran away without asking mine. This happened a second time with another server. We then proceeded to wait an hour for our starter until a nice young waiter came over and was shocked to see we hadn’t gotten anything yet. Bear in mind, we had already waited 40 minutes to get seated so it had been 1 hour and 40 minutes until we got to eat. Starters were fine, the onion bhaji was just a plate of deep fried red onion. Manager had came over and apologised for the wait to my partner by this point, had no idea why I was treated as invisible, maybe it was because I’m a woman, who knows. We then waited a further 40 minutes for our mains, mine arrived freezing cold and we had to ask several times for the naan bread which we had ordered. The food was good, albeit not worth such a long wait. It arrived when we had finished our mains. We then had to ask for the bill from 3 different waiters including the manager. We spent almost £100 between the two of us and it wasn’t worth it. Awful experience, I wouldn’t recommend.

Great food, Fantastic Service and friendly staff. We were in one of the little pods outside. I asked for Paneer and mushroom bhaji which wasn’t on the menu, but it wasn’t a problem. My wife enjoyed her chicken tikka masala which she said was the best ever. Well done! Jacqui and Mike

Went today for lunch, it was quite superb. The service, the food, the portions, the prices, just everything was good.. The best "Indian" restaurant we have experienced in Belfast. And we have tried the other well known places.

Very disappointed in our recent experience. I have many time ate in this restaurant from it opened and loved the service and food. This time we waited 45 mins between starter and main. We had to chase up drinks orders several times and when arrived they were wrong. They seem to have new staff and they are not as friendly as the previous staff.

Awful service waited 1.5 hrs for food arrived it was cold and tasted awful worst butter chicken and tikka I have ever had! Will never be back

The food and service were excellent.. However, we needed to put our coats over our shoulders to keep warm as the heating was either off, far to low, or broken ? Yes.. we were sat inside, and others were also noticeably doing the same with jackets and coats to keep warm. As we left, the heating seemed to suddenly start working... to late for those who had already eaten or just finishing, such a shame as otherwise it was good. However, we returned the following week and had a pod.. this was lovely and warm, combined with the food and service we had a far better experience. We will return again and again as the food is superb..

The food here is one of the nicest in Belfast. Very tasty and great portions. There was a great selection of wines and drinks. We had a pod and were able to play our own music. Me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves last night . The food was really good and authentic , and they even gave us a complimentary sambuca shot on the house . The booth pods comfortably seated our group of 7, and they even had a Bluetooth speaker for us to play our own music. Highly recommend!

I been there with my friends, but the way they treated us was so rude and nasty. This is the first time I’ve ever treated like that. I feel so bad and embarrassed. I will never go back to this restaurant again and I will never recommend it to anybody.

Sat in a pod outside and enjoyed a delicious meal! Excellent food, well balanced, and the drinks were excellent. This is a place for a leisurely meal with friends and loved ones - our experience was not a quick meal but that was perfect for our evening. The owner, Ahmed, checked in often and shared some great insights plus the staff were lovely. Absolutely recommend.

We booked one of the outdoor pods which can seat up to 6 people comfortably. The pod has a Bluetooth speaker and you can play your own music. The service was good and our order was taken promptly. The food was beautifully presented, and delicious. Though the restaurant was busy, the pod offers some privacy whilst also providing a view of other customers and passers by. As it was a warm day the sun did make our pod a little too warm and stuffy, and the only ventilation was the doorway, but this was a minor issue.
