Food came quickly & warm but the chips were stale its the only way i can explain them, like id reheated from the night previous, naan was thin and stiff. curry itself was nice.

Had a lovely dinner with a friend in Namaste restaurant. The food was delicious and portions were perfect. We both really enjoyed our meal and had some left as it was so much. The service was lovely and the place is redone with a style.

We normally love food for here.. we had a danske which tasted great but our nan bread was cold when delivered and tasted a bit stale shame

Ordered on Nameste website today Sunday 16th June 2024 at 626pm yum yum yum. Lovely food as always. Chicken Tikka Masala highly recommended and Chicken Pakora . Delivered with a smile.My only complaint is I called the restaurant and they told me they had no recollection of me ordering, thar is unacceptable. Top class food though and highly recommended. I live in Lesley Apartments on Knocknagoney Rd,I'd already paid.

One of the worst ever restaurant we have been to. The taste of the food was horrible, anyone who ever cooked in lifetime can make better dish. We bought prawn briyani, chicken tandoori and madras chicken curry for nearly £40 and it was utter blunter. Suggesting anyone not to try here if you are craving for Indian cuisine around.

Order arrived on time but missing naan bread. Phoned restaurant who said it wasn’t their fault it was the fault of Just Eat. Won’t be ordering from this restaurant again

I have had a tandoori chicken and garlic chicken curry take away. The taste was disgusting and cannot be able to finish it. And the red colour added to the food stays in my hand till next evening.

Visited tonight, with my family ,who were home from Scotland, on holiday. Brilliant service, beautiful meals, served by two very polite and attentive waiters. Highly recommended first class experience.

I've just moved to the area and was looking for a new curry place after missing my old trusted one. I have to say this exceeded expectations! The food was plentiful and delicious! Chicken tikka was so tender. This will become my new go to curry house.

The quality of the food is usually good here. However, it has just arrived stone cold. The only thing offered on the phone was an apology. It's a shame, as it's quite expensive.

Food was about an hour late, not all of the orders were correct, actually put off using the just eat app as when u realise the order is wrong the drivers already gone

Only fault was we had only sat down and we where told thet they needed table bck by certain time we were already told this when booking the table we had no longer finished our meal and the bill was put on table but when we said about this when paying the bill we where told we would need book a month in advance as they very busy when I explained we had booked a table during the week we just didn't walk in no response and couple beside us said same had happened to them

Thought I was ordering from Rajput but this is the new owners Namaste Indian, we had the worst Indian food we have ever tasted, completely bland, tasteless ended up throwing it away, don’t order from here

We had Sunday dinner here during our Belfast trip. It wasn't crowded. We ordered garlic chili chicken, naan, boiled rice, and raita. The curry was very tasty, the service was also good, and we really liked it. The quality and quantity were good. I would highly recommend it.

Last visit wasn't good as madras lacked spicy taste. This time it was slightly better but incredibly salty. Service was poor. Our party of 19 was served had some being served mains as others had finished their meals.

We seven friends from London went to Belfast for vacation and got a chance to try authentic Indian/Nepali food in this Restaurant. Food, atmosphere, service everything were excellent. Will visit again.

Loved the place. There was a live music, food and service was awesome. We were seven of us and they managed to accommodate all of all on a busy Saturday night. Deffo recommend this place!!

Expensive, but top quality food.

My first experience in this restaurant for mothers day and wasn't great we arrived at 5 and did not recieve our food untill 6.10 and it was brought out in drips and drabs, I ordered the salt and chilli chicken starter portion for a main which came out 5 mins before other main courses it was very bland and not a chilli in sight even though I asked for it hot! It was basically to crispy chicken strips with onions thrown on top that also lacked flavour and what looked like tomato sauce with a hint of chilli, I tasted a little spoonful of a main garlic chilli chicken which was just okay the nan was very bland also, the service was not good the only time they came to us was to take the order and deliver the order which we had to ask twice for 2 portions of the nan we didn't get, it clearly seemed to us they were concentrating on their deliveries as plenty was going out while we waited over an hour on our food also left waiting nearly 10 mins at the counter to pay I wont be back I cant speak for the rest but I'm pretty sure they won't be back either also there was two small children with us and they only have 1 high chair they were told to bring their own ! Not what you expect to do bringing your children out for a meal

We turned up at 5pm as a party of 9. Alarm bells should have rang when we were told we would have to bring one of our own highchairs as they only have the one in store. We arrived and had to tell front of house we needed the highchair and when I went to remind them again they were scrubbing it so in my head that means no one bothered cleaning it from the previous day. We were finally asked what we would like to eat at 5:25pm. No smile from the waiter, a straight faced "are you ready to order" was all we got. We then had to ask if we could order drinks. We waited for what seemed like eternity on our food and it finally arrived at 6:15pm nearly an hour later. The food came out in multiple batches just over 5 minutes after each other meaning the people who had the first batch would have been earing luke warm food if they waited for the rest to arrive. Most of our party was happy with their food when it finally arrived but one person had korma and mentioned it didn't really have any flavour. We ordered a few Nan breads and had to remind the staff that we had ordered them which again were brought out in 3 batches. Not a single apology was given. A straight faced "it's coming now" is what we received. What made this worse was when I had to asked for a plate for my food as the waiter didn't bring enough on the first run. I wouldn't mind if it was busy but there was 4 tables in. I went to the loo to find there was no loo roll available. Thankfully I didn't need it but when I mentioned it to the staff member I was told "there is a toilet at the other side of the restaurant". Generally we would visit Indian ocean in Holywood. Its authentic, they have poppadoms on arrival and the staff love to see people come to their restaurant. I've never had a bad experience there. I came here as it was recommended. I will not be back and will be recommending that people do not visit.

Unplanned meal here on Saturday evening and they went out of their way to fit us in, especially as we hadn’t booked. The food was fresh and delicious as well as being well priced. The staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Would 100% recommend and look forward to going back for my next meal.

Food was just OK. Wouldn't say the service was up to scratch and not overly friendly. Overrated restaurant in my opinion.. maybe it does so well due to its location and BYO. Wouldn't rush back.

Food was ready about when it was ordered for, and didn't have any outstanding problems, but was solidly average in terms of flavour. Very little depth to either the Korma or the Punjabi Masala, needing additional seasoning to salvage anything from them at home. Bajees and Naan were good though.

The food and service were first class. Our party of 3 all agreed it was easily the best Indian food we have eaten in a long time.

I love this place!! Wouldn't go to any other Indian ! Staff are great for sitting in everything cozy and clean. Lovely ambiance. Gluten free options also. Would highly recommend the chicken tikka garlic balti!!

Tried lamb & chicken Tikka biriyani as take away. Felt lamb was better than Tikka. One parcel is enough for one only. Anyway my kid liked it and so will be there again ☺️.

Since new owners have taken over, the standard of food is terrible, the way they treat their staff is a shambles and their customer service skills well they don't have any. I give this business less than 6 mths and it won't exist

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. £40 for a sub par takeaway - I've eaten many Indian meals in my time, unfortunately this was one of the worst I've ever had - The dips, lacked any effort seemed as though they came straight out of a bottle or jar. Vindaloo was semi spicy (I've had spicier Madras) but lacked any flavour at all. Korma was orange, which was odd, tasted too sweet & again no flavour, popadoms 2 fresh & 1 stale/soggy. Kema nan dry & tiniest ration of mince through the bread. Was offered free drinks with next order & turned it down as there would most definitely not be a next order.

We went here as a large family very nice atmosphere. The food was great really friendly staff, one of them even show us a magic trick which was amazing. The food didn't take long to get to our table. A very pleasant evening was had by all.

Inconsistent, some items were beautifully marinated and very flavoursome others just plain bland. Mediocre.

Great food. Bring Your Own keeps cost down and you get your favourite wine. Staff are excellent.

I came in the night before and my order was incorrect I just finished work and was the last customer of the night and wasn’t able to finish my food because it wasn’t right which is unusual because they usually get everything perfect I came back the next day with the food they couldn’t be more apologetic and they made me up a fresh meal customer service was brilliant and food was lovely it was a shame that the food was wrong the first time but don’t let one bad experience put you off as long as your polite about a situation people are more than willing to help you get your meal to you just how you like it

Miidle of the week, not busy time & we got sub standard products. Starting with poppadoms soggy, stale & dips wr average. Butter Chicken coconut flavoured sweet glue curry, no taste except sugar. Vegetable Dhanshak dish served without lentils sweet & sour taste, no aroma. Saag Paneer spinach tossed in tomato onion gravy with fried chunks of paneer. Garlic Nans were only good part of the meal. I am really sorry folks but can't deny the fact that this is not Indian food whatever Rajput is serving. Thanks

Food was delicious but the service was very bad. The starter and main course were served together. The waiter never bothered to come and ask if we wanted anything more. We had to get up and go to the counter to order extra dishes. One of the waiter was busy watching something on his laptop.Tamarind king prawns was delicious and hence the stars.

Very poor experience. The food was nice, not amazing but still pretty good but the atmosphere was horrible. There was a crowd of rowdy people singing doing cocaine in the toilets and then the establishment's singer came over and made everyone at our table feel uncomfortable by singing in the ears even though we did nothing to attract his attention. I'll not be back. ------- Updated review - My partner wanted to try here for Valentine's Day and we ordered a delivery order over Uber eats. The good - delivery was on time and my partner enjoyed the tikka masala. The okay - the chicken was borderline cooked right. The bad - the jalfrezi was bland, with very little sauce and the rice was over cooked. I almost always get jalfrezi and the over riding flavours are of capsicum and coriander. This was watery and tasted like a reheated curry (either that or from frozen and given the dry rice I have my suspicions). I'll definitely give it a wide berth and don't believe the reviews online I suspect some are false. Avoid. Like. The. Plague. Bithika is better.

This is my first time from ordering food from here. Service was second to none and food was amazing. Nando made sure my vegan diet was catered for. This is my new number 1 Indian restaurant. I cant recommend it enough ❤😊

Butter chicken is my go to when I'm hungry so I've had a fair few from around different places. The Rajput has to be thee most bland tasteless pasty one yet I think they must have forgot to add any flavour and gave me a Korma. At that price I expect better.

The worst food ever I had, I had even specified them less oil... But I got delivered very oily starters. We ordered three curries, 3 of them tastes the same and worst too... We couldn't eat and dumped off all the food... Waste of money, and I don't recommend to visit this restaurant... Obsolutely disappointed, will never order from here...

My daughter,granddaughter and myself had a meal last night in the Rajput, I could not wait on it opening again and I was not disappointed the food was magnificent, the service brilliant even the younger staff, where so attentive. This restaurant is run by a family who make you feel welcome I would highly recommend to everyone

I'm honestly disgusted by the food. I'm am not even able to identify if they gave me the wrong dish or of they messed up that hard. Either way it doesnt taste good. I would never order again from this place.

Firstly I ordered 4 mains, 3 of which were average considering the fact it cost £50 for a takeaway with one starter, 4 mains and no side dishes. My daughter ordered a butter chicken and ended up with chicken korma - which was so sweet it was inedible. When I phoned to ask if it could be replaced the guy told me I was wrong and that butter chicken is made with coconut and sugar. I’ve eaten a lot of Indians and I have never came across a recipe for butter chicken that has coconut and lots of sugar. The guy eventually admitted that the chef had probably put too much sugar into the dish But he still refused to change the dish or give me an exchange even though you can look at them a recipe on you will not find a butter chicken made with coconut and large amounts of sugar. All In All in all I was very disappointed with how they handled the situation. The manager was rude and the customer service awful. He blatantly lied to palm me off with an incorrect dish. I won’t be returning and they can say goodbye to my business.

Both myself and family members have eaten in this restaurant frequently, and I can only speak very highly of it. The quality of the food is second to none and all the staff are very welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant.

Ordered meals at 19.30 on their website waited hour and half and still no sign of it tried phoning no one would pick up gave them another half hour still nothing phoned more than 15 times. Will not order from this place again terrible customer service. So someone picked up 3 hours later said order didn't go through even though I had order number leaving it to late to reorder. Busy night fine but pick up the phone and let the customer know when they call the first time.

Back again. Best Indian about. Staff are great and food is excellent. Saturday night atmosphere is magic, usually full party going on.
