They gave us the wrong order, and then the male indian waiters started laughing when they gave it.

Probably the best Indian food in the area combined with good service and a situated in a well managed pub. TV Sports is a popular feature though sometimes the volume is unnecessarily loud.

don't order chicken biryani u'll get chicken fried rice or chicken pulao or even worse.. rice was not cooked properly. not even single grain of rice was full length it was all broken. no taste of biryani at all. don't waste your £12 it's not worth £2. they are adding bit of orange colored rice to normal rice and chicken pieces it's all chicken biryani for them.

Recommended by a family friend and not to disappoint A great Indian pub and restaurant with authentic Indian food as prepared by a chef from Deheradun. Friendly staff. Nicely greeted. Made to feel welcome. Starters were delicious Recommend Lamb chops Chatpata Tandoori Chicken wings Chilli paneer Chicken tikka Mains recommend Lamb Biryani Paneer tikka masala Seven chicken curry special Butter chicken could have been better Poppadum with chutney could be on house After food mint or chocolate could be introduced Dog friendly is great maybe something on menu could be an introduction over time. Parking on site is great though limited. A fan for hot days please! Will surely plan another visit.

Popped in to check The Seven out as local to me and not had a chance to look around yet. The owner was lovely and gave me a tour and ended up staying for 3 hours as everyone so friendly and atmosphere was so nice. Haven't eaten there yet but definitely will. The food looked amazing and by how busy it was, it must be tasty too! They have 2 large gazebo areas in the garden which look great as well as a more solid build eating area, covered with attractive leaf with heaters which was done up very well and had large tvs on the walls so guessing that's for sports nights too! I was shown a room available for hire which was a great size (ill try to attach photos I took if I can) and another dining area near the front which looked amazing too! ... hoping I haven't missed anything as so many areas. Staff were lovely and attentive and cant wait to go back there to eat soon! 😋 Will post a review when I do 🙏

AVOID! I have been here a few times over the years and each time it's an absolute mess getting a table. They always have no idea where to put groups. Each time I've had a reservation and even left a comment with instructions which are ignored. I have even booked weeks ahead for a birthday and when arriving they act like your a walk in. Really disappointed as recently I even called up hours before my reservation to explain each time I have come there is always an issue with the table. I have come with both my father and father in law who are disabled which I explained and would have issues with the specific area they put us and they showed little care or willingness to do anything. I have given the benefit of the doubt 2-3 times however I have lost patience and can safely say I will not be returning in future

We had a 1st birthday party at The Seven. My friends own this place.

Food has gone downhill here, lacked spice and was quite bland compared to previous visits, maybe a change of chef or a bad night?? Service was poor, had to wait 20 minutes for bill to be paid, could easily have left without paying and they wouldn't have known!

We booked online prior to our visit on the website where it gave us option to book in the “shisha lounge” which I did, upon arrival I was told that the do not take “outdoor reservation” and it’s first come first serve.. I asked why was this option give online than if that is the case? The than informed me that the have stopped doing shisha for over “2 years” but on their website it still shows that the do. After going going forward and backwards.. we are than finally given a table outside.. which was full of dust and dirt and when we asked the lady waitress (with tattoos) can we get this get cleaned “she advised this is what you get when you sit outside” eventually another waiter came and cleaned it up.. Food was nice but the overall experience was poor and staff were actually bitching about customers in the restaurant which at no point is acceptable! Would never go again or recommend..

Good food served by friendly staff in a nice setting. Car parking is available . Beer barrels need to be checked for supply & not run dry. Toilets should be checked & kept clean. 29.4.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment though the toilets are a mess & need regular cleaning ! The toilets are a Filthy abomination & awash with fluids & needing upgrading as mentioned before unless the possibility of spreading disease & infection is not considered to be a possibility after a scary visit with drunk & abusive louts around who seem to be ploughed with more drinks by the bar staff which is ridiculous! Disturbing that customers are also allowed to smoke/vape inside the restaurant & especially in the dining area by Management! & irresponsible customers seem to park on the pavement outside which makes its impossible & dangerous for drivers leaving the premises & exiting onto the main road to try & avoid oncoming traffic & a horrendous crash! Ridiculous.

Food was nothing special, you can get better mixed grills and meats at plenty of other places, starters weren't that great. Butter chicken wasn't bad but very pricey for what it is.

A pleasantly surprising place that looks like a small pub from the outside but is more spacious than at first appearance. Inside there is a seating area, similar to a gastropub and feels much like a pub, however venture outside and you see a lovely beer garden will a good amount of seating as well as an area to smoke which is under cover. There is also a generous private room that is heated and fully indoors. The food is good and while we didn't try any of the mains, a numerous example of dishes we tried were excellent. The chili paneer, the chicken wings, the chicken 65, the lamb chops, the masala fish and chicken tikka were all excellent as was the bhindi tempura and potato bhajya. The only thing that was a slight let down I think were the lamb kebabs but not terrible. Great place, try it!

Some of the best vegan Indian food I've had. Try the vegan chicken jalfreizi and you'll see what I mean.

The food was fantastic, and the service was delightful! The cocktails were exceptional, especially the ones served in large glasses; they're definitely worth the price. A tip: get the larger size cocktails! The ambiance was charming, and the staff were all wonderful!

Disappointed first and last visit to this restaurant. We had a table booked for 5 people who arrived in 2 lots the second half of our party were told there was no booking, it was only that I saw them and waved that they were able to sit. Service was all over the place, tables with us in the glass room who arrived after us were served their food first and one persons starter on my table didn’t arrive till I asked and then the same persons main was not served until reminded. Plates were stone cold, food Very expensive. We will not be returning

Love this place, really nice for just a pint and srarters or full blown dinner. Staff are friendly and the toilets are clean and there is parking too. Chef is called Mario and he is a great cook, i really did enjoy the food here.

Bless the Chef! What can I say about this place....the food is amazing. Ive eaten here three or four times and everytime ive loved it. This time i tried the sag lamb, butter chicken and masala prawns. Got to meet Mario, the chef. He told us that he worked in South India and Texas USA. He really knows his stuff and takes pride in his food. Staff were friendly and beer lines were clean. Great experience and I will be back!

Waited a long time for our food even though the table beside us came after and had their food. Food came after we queried the wait. Plates were stone cold. Staff kept coming to the table taking away dishes but never once asked if everything was okay. We had hardly finished eating when we were asked if we wanted the bill, never asked if we wanted dessert or more drinks. Card machine was brought promptly just felt they wanted rid. Not a particularly nice experience, food was okay but wouldn't be in a rush back

A place trying to be something it isn’t

Brilliant place. Food is good. Atmosphere is great and well maintained place. Nice carpark and waiters have very positive outlook. The barstaff are very efficient and always smiling. Worth visiting.

Terrible service. Had a table booked for 8 and the table kept getting moved to a later time. Left in the end when no apologies came and we still weren't any closer to getting a table we had booked

I was there with my brother in law and sister. I must say the food was good! BUT the waiters were totally inexperienced . One could hardly understand English. I had asked for bottle water. They didn’t have any water of room temperature, asked for a jug of water. Guess what!! The waiter brought a jug of water mixed with hot water😂 The water spilt from the jug into our table and knowing there was water on our table,I had to call the water to wipe off. He just came with couple of tissues leaving the table still wet. I think the waiters do need to be trained. They might be friendly but totally amateur 🙏

Great food as per usual… Can’t go wrong with Sevens

Was not the greatest experience when you expect food to be medium spicy and you end up eating food that was on fire. Very expensive for the area, kitchen closed early and wouldn’t serve drinks towards closing time - would have been nice of them to state when the last orders would have been.

Best Indian authentic food in the entire London we have tasted till now. No other restaurant can beat the taste of The Seven! If you are looking for authentic Indian taste with the best service The Seven is your place! Highly recommended!

I cannot fault the staff at the Seven, they were unbelievably helpful when organising our engagement party there. Even with the uncertainty of the weather, they helped us organise, host, serve and entertain our guests. The food was delicious- couldn't not recommend more their Lamb chops, chilli paneer and Dahl and the staff made sure all our guests had a drink in their hands. Our guests loved being there and all commented on the venue, the service and the food. Thank you so so much to all that made our day/night a wonderful experience.

I must applaud you The Seven, the food was delicious, cannot wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow!! My mum was very happy indeed. Will definitely be ordering again

A quick visit with a friend who treated me and enjoyed our meal here again. Food is good, not exciting but enjoyable. Dishes are small compared to most restaurants and places is busy and staff a little rushed. Good place for a quick meal out.

Food was a bit cheaper than other restaurants but still a good quality! Food arrived on time and hot, I would order from here again. Only reason I put 4 stars for quality was that some of the meat was dry but otherwise everything else was great!

The food has good fusion mix with the lamb chops a plus, we had the appetizers which was more then enough. The main dishes go well with the nans.

Indeed a cozy pub with amazing Indian food. Great service and brilliant decor that retains it publike charm whilst being contemporary. The pub garden is equally refreshing and a great place to enjoy a pint or two no matter what the weather as it is sheltered.

I ordered food and they made me sit on another table that was right near the door where people come in and out. Terrible service and I highly recommend others not to go here, because of the service and the food was not as expected. Lacking serious flavour and on top of this it came cold. The sauces weren't all that. The mixed grill consisted of basic flavours and didn't do justice. The waiter she was not that enthusiastic and didn't smile or anything. Nobody came to me to ask how my food is. Stay away from this place and go to other Indian restaurants near by because it wasn't good at all ans I won't be coming back here either. I've also been warned by others who told me not to go and they were right. I thought I'd give it a try and it was a mistake.

The mager is the worst, I came for a few drinks with my family spending a couple of hundreds of pounds. The manager was rude, food was awful. Don't come here!

Service and food was the worst. The manager is horrible, shame because the other staff are nice. Staff was put right rude and predijust towards me. Food portions are small overpriced and tasteless. I would avoid at any cost Hope they have a change of management soon.

Good and calm ambience with lovely food….

Second time at this place, first time we walked out due to fact football want on and found very loud didn’t eat just had a drink in the wonderful beer garden. Food wasn’t the best, kebabs had no taste, paneer tikka was good would of been better if sizzling , lamb samosa were average, main course nothing much to shout about. We booked few days in advance despise this we were seated in the stable area which we were not told about at booking, being in the stable was cold n dull, the manager did manager to put on Bollywood music for us which was a lovely touch, out waitress was outstanding drinks n food on point. Highlight was service from waitress.

Was told about this restaurant by a friend recently, and our group loved it! Great venue, and the food and service was fantastic. Shame it took us so long to try it but will certainly be our new regular going forward. Highly recommend !

Tasty food would order again. Only slight issue was too much oil floating at the top of the curry which I had to scoop out.

Rude and arrogant staff. Food is average. We were initially refused to order in the garden, then a manager advised the staff they only needed to take a table number. Then served “Bombay mix” which was definitely not a Bombay mix, however the staff tried to convince me it’s the new way they are doing it. Coated in ketchup! This place used to be ok but now I wouldn’t recommend coming here since they brought in new staff.

A hidden gem, fabulous indoor and outdoor setting for private parties and dining. Ambience and decor was very good, music, screens and options for various table arrangements. Food was great. Sunny and Alex have been very professional and friendly from booking to on the day handling of requests. Guests left impressed.

The indoor space is surprisingly small. They have a good choice on their menu. Own car park. I've been here twice now. Salt and pepper tofu wasn't as crispy as I've had else where bit all in all food is okay.

What a fantastic place for our colleagues leaving do. The conservatory was set up for our booking. Food and drinks were perfect with some lovely mocktails. Great vegetarian options and loves the paneer. Thanks to you all for making this a perfect evening.

Avoid this place if you want authentic Indian food. There was hair in my naan. Complained about it and waiter was upset that we complained. Paneer butter masala is nice and the naan is good. All starters were very bland

Went for lunch with friends. Great tasty food, large portions at reasonable price. Fast and friendly service. Large beer garden at the back. Highly recommended if you traditional Indian food. Will definitely be going back.

In this visit the only thing that was good was the food. Service was not 100% waited over 30min for papdoms, 3 pints of beer took like the same amount of time and that's only when we chased it. Over hour and half the onions didn't come still waiting lol, Starters took ages as well. Only after we complained that the mains came with 15min, we ordered beer again and came straight away. Its not the best dinning experience, its a shame as the food is good. We asked for the manager who was Alex, he never came, after waiting 10min, ask for the manager again and the owner came who was very nice and Try to help much as possible and gave some discount. I will think twice to go back.

Appalling customer service. AVOID! We went here for an Anniversary dinner and sat at the table for 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our drinks order or ask if we were ready. I then got up and asked the waiter if we could order and he rudely dismissed the request and went back into the kitchen. Clearly understaffed and it shows in their customer service. So many better restaurants in the area AVOID this one.

So we have only eaten in once, whilst the other four times have been takeaway but we have always had a throughly enjoyable meal each time. We have had starters including the mixed meat platter and vegetarian platter which were good but it our favourites are the garlic mushrooms, chilli paneer and mogo which are absolutely lovely. For mains, we have had most of the chicken curries which are always full of flavour and also enjoyed both paneer and bombay aloo. Then of course the breads and rices are always spot on. Just a consistently good Indian at a time where so many can be so hit and miss.

My wife and I paid a visit to this bar/restaurant midweek. It was pleasant inside and the food smelt lovely, so we decided to book a table for two, on the Saturday. We arrived on time and were shown to our table. Unfortunately, we were sat along side a table of ten, comprising of 6 adults and 4 young children. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the noise was unbearable. It was a bit like being in McDonalds with a kids party going on. We couldn't even hear our own conversation. We asked to be moved to a different table. We were moved, only to be told, two minutes later, that we had to return to our original table, as the one we had moved to, was booked. Back we went. The food arrived, and to be fair, it was absolutely superb. Awesome starters and excellent mains. A wide choice on the menu to suit all tastes and the drinks are very reasonably priced for a restaurant. We will definitely book again, but on a quieter night.

Great drinks and fantastic service

Shockingly bad levels of service. Too few staff to deal with the amount of diners. Constant chasing for missing items not delivered to table etc. Even worse, we had a table facing the car park and could see at least 3 rats running in and around the side of the restaurant. Disgusting!
