The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Ordered a takeaway 28/03 to find an item missing, rang the restaurant to let them know and was then told the chef said the item was packed in the bag to which I was then questioned, 20+ years of going and no apology no nothing.

Absolutely wonderful food and staff. The honey and chilli chips were a challenge. You can take your own booze in. They were good enough to provide an ice bucket. Thoroughly recommend.

Great food, great osphere, very friendly waiters always very helpful, nothing's too much. C'mon & try it for your selves !

Could not fault either the service or food. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.The dishes we selected(a couple with the guidance of the waiter) were all really tasty and packed with interesting ingredients. Particularly recommend the 'special' dishes. Portions were generous and the overall cost was reasonable. What not to like?! We will definitely be going back next time we are staying in Watford.

Three of us arrived at 6.30pm on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised at the number of diners at that time! We were welcomed by the owner and given a choice of tables. He couldn’t have been more helpful with menu choices. The food arrived in good time, was plentiful and delicious - no other description! We were made to feel totally at home, with nothing being too much bother! Terrific value and 5* service - we’ll be back, no hesitation! ❤️

We are from tarn (Barnsley), staying at New Lanark Mill Hotel. We’ve had takeaway tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous, delivered very quickly, it was fantastic. Thank you.

A great find for sure. The cook is Toni who is from Nairobi, Kenya. The place is two separate business's. The bar and restaurant are owned by two different owners so you have to pay separately. The bar staff are excellent and always ready to serve. Very large selection of drinks so easy to satisfy most people. The restaurant orders are taken to the left of the bar. The food selection is excellent and the food itself is very good. If I'm honest, the seekh kebabs could do with a bit of work. The staff serving the food are OK. They are not proficient in English so struggle to understand orders. But you can muddle through so no big deal. Overall, a very good place to visit for a great meal and drinks. FYI: Going again for sure.

This place has been horrible recently, zero respect to customers. We have very bad experience in getting food delivery at home twice so far. Last year in July'24, we ordered food at 19.00pm and it was delivered at 10.00pm. owner said they will refund 20% on my card which never arrived. Today again same experience food ordered at 7.30 pm and it did not arrive until 9.30pm and that is after we visited the restaurant in person for refund.. very bad behaviour..

Aloo gosht had a consistency of mushy peas. Regret ordering it now.

Had another great meal. Ad the pickles for starters. I had chicken ajjwan was lush. Hubby had chicken karai. Very reasonable priced and staff very friendly.

We usually have a home delivery, but decided to eat at the restaurant with friends over the weekend. It was lovely - great service and absolutely fantastic food!

Accommodated a table of 8 last minute. Decent service. Good curry, not the best I’ve had but no place will ever top my local curry place back home.

Very lovely food and friendly staff. My girlfriend enjoyed the cocktails the curry and Lamb chops are 10/10. Will be booking again for sure.

The food was delicious, veg was ok, non-veg was tasty and the service was top-notch - friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was just okay, but overall a good dining experience!
