The best restaurants serving French food in London

What a rude service!! Didn’t call my drink but then got rude when I kindly asked for it. Definitely skip this pret the next time.

We booked as a group of 11, and were asked to pre-order the meals. No problem there. Some of us ordered loin of pork- what we received was described on the bill as “roast suckling pig”-it certainly wasn’t loin of pork. Two other meals were ungenerous in quantity; vegetables, listed as part of the dish (rather than sides) were scant. The service and ambience were both positives of the evening, but the food was overpriced.

Came here after work today (30/09) at 5:30 pm and the service was very fast and the employee was very lovely. Will definitely come back for the amazing service, I unfortunately didn’t get his name! Pastries are super delish as well.

It was disappointing to find that the restaurant is so poorly laid out for a self-service breakfast. We arrived at 7.50am but had to queue in the outer hallway as a restaurant staff member explained ‘we don’t open until 8.00am’ The breakfast diningroom is located in the hotel lower ground floor. Once inside, I saw that the Serving areas were small so diners had to line up in the pathways, thus blocking access to tables. The foods on offer were good, but the limited display areas meant it was hard to see all the dishes at their best. The area for drinks - especially the coffee and tea self-service - had the longest queue. Lack of space and poor accessibility meant the visit was not enjoyable. More worryingly, the main seating area of the downstairs restaurant had a flight of steps in/out. And there were no prominent EXIT signs from that part of the dining-room. With much of the space blocked by diners, it would have been hard to make an exit in any emergency.

As a local who hasn't visited before I highly recommend this addition to the neighbourhood, it was patently obvious I hadn't a clue how to order a takeaway on their 'kiosk/display ' & instantly the charming 'Antoinette' patiently explained how to search the menu & choose. I did & our dishes appeared promptly & we were gifted additional sauces etc . The food proved to be as delightful as the service . Thank you ..we'll be back .🖖

Following a rugby game we went fir an early dinner. Fantastic. Lovely atmosphere warm welcome from peter. Good food well presented at fair prices. Excellent wine selection in carafe. Happy evening. Well done

Delicious salad in a beautifully rustic café. Plus, the self-serve nut butters on every table are lush.

Large Pret here. Today queued for a while, only to be told I couldn't have my smoothie because their payment system is broken.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Perfect flavoursome dishes, the taste and presentation are a cut above the rest!

Great selection of breakfast beverages and foods. Very friendly and efficient staff. Nice size portions for the money. Great value!
