I go to Neuhaus on a daily basis! Elvira is the sweetest and most professional, the chocolates are incredible and I always enjoy coming by! The most generous and welcoming of people with the best of chocolates. A must try!

Busy, friendly staff as usual.. I visit frequently, today 10/1/23 we were served by a lovely sale women one called Gabrielle at the Penhaligon’s section, and Lana, both were amazing. Another visit November 24, Selfridges remains amazing store.

Selfridges … made it here after 51 years. Have to say… it’s very good. It’s huge. So much to see and browse. Quality products in abundance. Opulent. The concessions are amazing. The staff? - the people that work here are … frankly very cool. Great people. Great place. A treat. Recommended.

It contains restaurants and cafes in an atmosphere of luxury and among thousands of visitors and shoppers.

You have to go shopping here if you are in Oxford Street! Massive place to shop, a little bit overwhelming on the ground floor but you could spend hours here. I love the MAC counter, the staff are always so helpful.

Very very large store brand all luxury brands

Visited yesterday as wanted to treat myself to something. I visited the fragrance dept and I have to say I was blown away by the service and knowledge from Dominic at Byredo and especially Daniel at Chloè. I came away with some beautiful new fragrances, a wishlist for both myself and my partner and a smile on my face from such a lovely experience.

No one who worked there knew of other departments or coukd even speak English

Din Tai Fung has always been a favorite, but they really need to step up their menu game! The selection feels too limited and could use some fresh, exciting options. It’s starting to feel a bit repetitive—time for a refresh!

Selfridges is a luxury department store. Tourists come here just to visit, like they go to Harrods. The window displays especially at Christmas, are worth looking at even if you don't go in. The building is old and the architecture is classic. There is a food hall with lots of different options from salt beef sandwiches to cakes and ice cream. There's loads of concessions spread across the floors. On the ground floor there are a number of outstanding beauty brands from Lisa Eldridge to Huda Beauty. At the top you'll find Jellycat plushies and you may have seen the fish & chip experience on social media. It's so cute and funny. In between there's numerous clothing brands. I had a very disappointing experience at the gift wrapping service inside the store, I purchased multiple items and requested all of them to be placed inside one big gift box with price tags removed, I was surprised after 40 mins of waiting that only half of my items were wrapped and the rest were out which made me wait for another 15 mins to be re-wrapped again, I took the gift and gave it to my sister on the same day to be surprised again that none of the price tags were removed and the receipt was on top of everything! Even though i explained what I wanted specifically to the lady working there; none of my requests were met in a professional way, given it was Selfridges I was expecting top notch service.

Best shopping spot in the whole of central London but a bit on the expensive side however you will find everything. Has the best food outlets as well, in addition to the wide variety from shopping.

Had a great time exploring all the different floors. Amazing indulgent breakfast at the Brasserie of Light and the service was outstanding. The friendly and super helpful doorman was a treat and engaged with everybody. Spent a lovely morning here.

Selfridges always puts me in the Christmas spirit. It just has the most wonderful spirit and if you can’t find it in there, it isn’t worth finding!

Had gluten free pizza at Pizza Pilgrims for lunch. It's right inside Selfridges on the 4th floor. The pizza base was awesome! I chose the wrong pizza though as it was a white one and had broccoli in it. I think there would be better options but they were quite pricey. Nice atmosphere though.

I recently had an awful experience at Selfridges London on October 30. I purchased a pair of NB trainers. At checkout, the cashier asked for my ID. When I politely asked why, she seemed annoyed and didn’t explain, instead tossing the receipt to me to sign. A nearby woman then intervened, reprimanding me. When I asked her identity, she claimed to be the manager, accused me of rudeness, and referred to the cashier as “her staff.” Her tone and behavior were unprofessional and disappointing, especially as she lacked a uniform or name tag. When I sought help from the floor manager, I was misdirected to customer service on the 3rd floor instead of the 4th, wasting time. Once I reached the right place, neither the floor manager nor customer service apologized or acknowledged the frustration these incidents caused. A week later, Selfridges’ response minimized my complaint to mere “feedback,” avoiding a direct apology and failing to address the specifics. The response emphasized internal processes over my experience, making it feel dismissive. Phrases like “we are very confident” came across as patronizing, lacking empathy and professionalism, which is disappointing from a brand like Selfridges.

Christmas was just getting started with some nice gift ideas. A bit pricey, but nice quality and staff were friendly. Very busy footfall though!

My daughter and I went to the JellyCat Fish & Chip shop today. It is really nicely done, and managed well. We had booked in advance and the queue wasn’t too bad. But best of all was the assistant Ruby. She was fab!!!! Engaged my daughter completely. Was chatty and warm and fun, and even stayed into her break to look after us. Great experience! Thank you Ruby!

Great big store, it's really too big, I would say, but I women would disagree 😄 But you can get such a wide range of things. It's certainly not the cheapest shop, I must advise. But it's definitely worth a visit if your in the area

Massive (obviously) and weirdly hot inside. The toy section on the 4th floor is extensive and the Jellycat Fish & Chips experience was very enjoyable.

This is a great place to buy anything you want. I personally went to the technics section, where there's a huge variety of items. The employees really know what they're doing, and were a great help to find out which product suits me best.

I had a disappointing experience with the Sneakers repair store in Selfridges, London. On Sunday evening, I interacted with one of the staff members who seemed unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. Instead of calming an already frustrated customer, she only made the situation worse. I dropped off my shoes for repair on September 28th and was initially told they’d be ready within two to three weeks. The estimated completion date on my receipt was October 28th, which was already longer than expected. It’s now November 3rd, and they’re still not ready. The most frustrating part? 🤣 They told me, ‘If you want your shoes back, we can return them to you and give you a full refund.’ Does this mean they haven’t even started the repair after more than a month? 🤣 What about all the time I’ve wasted waiting and traveling back and forth since October 28th? Who’s going to compensate me for that?😂 I expected much better service considering the price and the location of the store. Unfortunately, I’m not alone in this experience; several other customers were also there to collect their shoes, only to find that they weren’t ready as promised☺️!

Excellent level of service, The staff here are very friendly and attentive, We had a coffee and a cake each, the coffee was pretty standard, the cakes were exceptional, patisserie quality buy you pay for the privilege! Truly "London prices", hard to accept over £30 for coffee and cake for two.

Iconic London department store. I particularly like the menswear and fragrance hall. Can be busy, but it is a tourist attraction as well as a shopping experience. Evenings are more relaxed and you can definitely take your time more.

Having witnessed the incredibly poor treatment of staff working in this establishment, it's very hard to look past that and towards an objective view of the store itself. Reports I have heard from friends who have worked here include having panic attacks at the hands of aggressive customers while management simply looked on, and then receiving very little support from HR when this issue was escalated. (My friend ultimately left this workplace because they felt so deeply unsafe there). I'm also aware of the unsavoury way in which Selfridges manage business to business relations and how many small businesses have suffered as a consequence. This company are absolutely unscrupulous and I would avoid like the plague.

Huge department store with top brands. You can buy anything you want. The staff is a problem, because in most stores they are not interested in the customer and it is necessary to pull them by the sleeve in order to try something. Kudos to the salespeople at the Louboutin store who are very helpful.

Best collections, designer’s’ selection, and of course best buyers. It’s impossible to leave this place without spending money.

This is one of my go to shops when I’m in London. Decent prices and always look forward to the Christmas shop. Dolly’s is always on the agenda for a pit stop tea and pastry. Bright, airy and spacious, and even when it’s busy it’s doesn’t feel too crowded.

Walked into the store to see all the assistants talking to each other - obviously overstaffed and nothing to do. Waited 10 min for staff to seat us in the coffee shop downstairs- we were first in the line with plenty of empty tables. Had to walk out because of no table service. Won’t be going there again

do not order from there online department they are well know for shipping empty boxes and then refusing refunds as well as trying to silence anyone talking about it

While Qatar visitors love Harrods, the Saudis and UAE visitors made Selfridges thier favourite Which doesn't mean anything as Harrods has its own style and the same goes for selfridges I love the food court in selfridges where you get plenty of choices, the only thing I don't like in there is the fact that some parts of it is never clean enough to match with the rest of the store. My favourite department is the technology department, where you always get latest technology coming exclusively to Selfridges first

My number “ 1️⃣ ” Department Store in town. 👑 In all aspects even more than that place has a very high ceiling and more of a-capacity for more of ventilation and good air conditioning. With more of verity than the rest. With a very high pressure of visitors and the system that they have and taking care of the good vibes and atmosphere around the place. Good brands and that made the place more enjoyable and comfortable to walk around. You won’t feel the time in. As all what you need is around you. People working here are very lucky and they have good attitude with all audiences.

Immensely crowded (not their fault) and offering mediocre service (totally their fault). Miles behind Harrods in terms of a personal shopping experience. Or maybe it was just my luck. Will not come again, though

Despite the store being up market, it was a pleasant experience and the staff at the Christmas shop exceptional.

For me, it’s tried to become too on trend and is no longer the “Londoners’ Store”. But its still a nice experience. And laid out well enough that it doesn’t get too crammed. I think the front atrium should be left as a sales-free zone.

What’s not to like … great store and people watching in the bars or restaurants is great fun!

Great place to shop, you have everything under one, I buy my make-up and clothes,I also purchase my new vacuum cleaner at a very good price. But I usually go there at least once a week to buy the best Caribbean food in central London from Sweet Dees Jerk located in the food, there you will also find Lola's cupcakes. The deli counter has lovely cheese, pate, duck rillets, biltong pies and quiches. The bread counter where you get cholla, focacia ,sour dough, rye bread, etc, they'll also slice it for you. There's an ice cream counter next to the in house cake shop where can find a miriad of wonderful cakes and cheesecakes. There's also a fish and meat counter you'll so freshly made pasta not forgetting there's wine to. It's not the cheapest, but you can still find things at reasonable prices. Your paying for high quality produce. Knowledgeable friendly staff. My only gripe with this store is they need more restrooms and it's always a trek to find one

My husband treated me there to purchase a lovely electric blue, zip up hoodie by Issey Miyake, so everything was amazing. Smashing place to be treated to especially if the Hubby is in the dog house to get back in the good books. P.S Make sure he takes you to the bar upstairs a wonderful, funny waitress will attend and would suggest “specials” that they are trying out. All I can is #scoobie #amust

Considering this high class brand, the food at the Food Hall is reasonably priced. I come here just for Sweet Dee's Jerk where you can get a bowl of filling, delicious food for £14.
