Do not purchase lingerie from here. After ordering an item which did not fit, I was appalled to discover it was non returnable when I went to request a return. A NO point during checkout does it state lingerie items are non returnable. If I had known I would not have purchased. I have contacted customer services twice with no response and I am now taking this further with the retail ombudsman/RetailADR.

As a first-time visitor to London from the United States, Selfridges was one of the highlights of my trip! Selfridge's is like a luxurious high-end mall all in one store, offering an unforgettable shopping and entertainment experience. We kicked off our visit with drinks at the Christian Louboutin bar (yes, it’s as fabulous as it sounds!)—a unique and stylish way to start the day. From there, we explored as much as we could, though you'd need plenty of time to truly take it all in. The variety and quality of the offerings, from fashion and beauty to home goods and dining, were remarkable. If you’re in London and looking for a one-of-a-kind shopping destination, Selfridges is a must-visit. Just be sure to carve out enough time to soak it all in—you won’t want to leave!

The first time, frankly, I enter it as if it were Harrods and the Arabs, and I find it a waste of time. Oxford Street is all miserable, and I do not recommend it at all. The liver is swirling as if I am in one of the streets of Egypt.

The perfume hall is absolutely incredible, if you’re in the Gatwick area there’s a new shop that’s opened up called Pearl Fragrances, they have a good selection of reasonably priced Arabian fragrances! Their perfume oils are very good too, worth checking out.

Myself and our family had a fabulous time. Especially with the jelly cat experience would definitely recommend.

If you can afford luxury, this is the place for you. Nice facilities, nice cafes and food hall.

Make sure to visit Paco Rabanne in Selfridges! The products are unreal and the new shimmer bomb is the most perfect product for summer for that sunkissed glow!

Range of products is okay, although I feel as though it has gone down in recent years. The store itself is also often quite dirty. The only constant that can’t be faulted is the service from the staff which is always very good!

I purchased the Delina Marcelo perfume from the main perfume hall on entrance. I was served by a kind young gentleman and was happy with my purchase. I told my sister about my purchase and she had told me to return it as she had purchased exactly the same for my 40th birthday as she knew I wanted this particular perfume. I then went to return this perfume and was told I could not return or exchange an item I literally brought five minutes ago. There was a lady there whom I spoke to (wish I got her name) but she seemed incredibly rude and dismissive (had a foreign accent). I pleaded that I'd just purchased it and if I'm unable to return I wanted to exchange to which she said "we don't do that anymore". What is that meant to mean?! It clearly states on the receipt "you are welcome to exchange or refund your purchases by Wednesday 22nd January. I spoke to Marcelo who was very kind and professional and offered me an exchange which I'm still not happy about as per my customer rights I was entitled to a refund. Thank you to Marcelo as he treated me with kindness unlike his fellow colleague. This staff member who was rude needs some training on how to treat customers especially when you're in a very busy section of Selfridges. She clearly judged me and chose to be difficult. She obviously didn't realise I was older than my age and older than her most likely and I myself work in retail so know that's exactly not how to treat customers. Incredibly unhappy with my purchase now due to the horrible service and poor excuse. I will be taking my complaint to head office.

Great fun shopping destination located on Oxford Street, London. Food, hot drinks and a massive variety of home supplies, perfume, handbags, tech you name it I am sure they have it. Personal shopper available. Tarot card readings are available with an appointment.

Don’t go there (menswear and womenswear)- they don’t want to get disturbed by costumers! Super indifferent staff that gets annoyed by even the simplest question. If they are super welcoming in Harrods then this is the opposite of the scale.

There are famous brands of luxury bags. However, they have low-priced items. It is a good shopping mall.

Trashy customer service. Avoid. Christmas returns window is ridiculously short (2nd Jan) and is not advertised anywhere. Customer services have a ‘computer says no’ attitude to resolving the issue even when it was explained that the gift wasn’t received until after Christmas. After years of shopping there I won’t be returning.

Harrods better as you get points when u shop

Dont buy luxury roller / fountain pens from here. They forgot to stamp my pen and I cant use my warranty. They dont help on anyway. You can go to browse their collection but dont make a purchase from here. No assistance - no responsibility.

Oh dear, divide and unrule. Each individual section is so small, even in this huge shop, that they can't display, let alone provide their full range. If you know what you want, go elsewhere. Good place to browse but not buy. And the crowds, quite unpleasant.

Selfridge's might not have the prestige Harrods has but as a shopper, I hate to say this & sorry Harrods I love you but Selfridge's may just be slightly better. Harrods is amazing, a day out on its own. However, it's busy, it's complicated, it's a labyrinth whereas Selfridge's isn't as maze like & has a decent easy to navigate skincare & clothing section. The fragrance hall in Harrods is the place to be but Selfridge's has more stock from brands like Mancera, Montale. Overall, amazing place!

A famous and interesting shopping complex

Selfridges London offers a delightful shopping experience with its stunning displays, helpful staff, and wide range of products. I am grateful to have the opportunity to shop at Dior. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Will be coming back soon.

Another place to find luxury items

Verry disappointed with Selfridges, B&O headphones purchase 18 months ago , over heated and died, Selfridges said they were only guaranteed for 6 month ! (cost £800)- so bad luck buddy ! Telephoned the B&O shop in Guildford Surrey, very helpful, looked up the serial No. were able to confirm when and where purchase and informed me that they have a 3 year guarantee !! ,they have sent them off for repair or replacement, Avoid Selfridges if you want professional service. 0 star if it were possible.

Me and my daughter were being harassed to leaved the store at 9 pm, because the store was closing, it was on Monday. The very rude sales person from Acne Studio even threathen to call security. We didn’t do anything , it just THEY ARE CLOSING .

If you don’t look rich, their staff will treat you in a bad way or not even reply to your question. Generally the worst place to shop ever and would never recommend visiting this.

When the thief spent 9000 pounds using our stolen card, the store agent did NOT even check the ID to see if it matches the bank card. Despite the very suspicious circumstances (the thief spending 6000 pounds, and 1000 pounds 3 times in a row in 7 mins and using another stolen card that was blocked), the fact that Selfridges not even checking the ID is absolutely horrifying. When we called them to cancel the transactions, the customer service was not helpful at all and simply said they will not do so. They do not care about customers and will let the thieves spend as much money as long as Selfridges is earning money. Shame on you Selfridges!!!!

The Yellow Bowl is a rare in store skateboarding bowl. It's an awesome location to skate, especially in winter. With the added bonus of stepping out of the bowl and straight into one of UK's iconic department stores in the heart of Oxford Street. Thoroughly recommend a visit, however, booking in advance to avoid disappointment 🛹💛🛹💛🛹💛🛹

I went to Kérastase today to buy a conditioner and I wasn’t sure which one to go for as it would be my first time trying their products, Saffron helped me so much, she was so sweet and polite telling me about all the conditioners and helping me choose the best one for me, I really appreciate her help and overall I had a very good experience!! 🥰

A wonderful complex containing perfumes / watches / clothes / jewelry and shoes, including most international brands

This place is a maze to navigate , particularly the ground floor and basement. My only major gripe is the food hall pricing. The markups are insane, some up to 50% over RRP, which one doesn’t notice because a lot of the prices are not clearly marked. Feels like they are trying to take advantage of customers.

The best shopping center in London

Busy as usual, once I was riding a bus from here to my work every morning and coming back at mid-day and it was crowdy at that moment as well so i visited the same stop after a year but unfortunately exactly after new year so yeah you can expect it busiest during any festive season and depends how long it will last! You may have to ride bus while standing and car parking is expensive so depends on your plan where are you going and for how long!

I'm frustrated that it's not possible to change the delivery address immediately after placing an order. Even SHEIN allows this, so it's surprising that SELFRIDGES hasn't implemented such a feature. It's a waste of time dealing with customer service when they could easily fix this in their app.

I placed an order that was cancelled without any communication. I tried contacting customer service, and they gave me no real reason, said they could not place new order for me and disconnected without warning

I have been to selfrigdes for shopping but always with someone. But I went in on the 24th of Dec for some Christmas shopping. I used the train to get there and exited at Bond street. I used google maps to get to one of the entrance close to Louis Vuitton because I wanted to get an LV bag. Picked up my bag and headed to Tom ford to get one of their body oil perfumes. The attendant was very nice, showed me all they had and I picked up. They wrapped it up and I was good to go. I would say their service was great given it was a night before Christmas and the place was so busy.

London is worth a trip, which should also include this house. Browse, look, buy... something for everyone!

Yes we have been here many times over the years and down stairs they have some lovely foods flowers champagne 🍾 chocolates and coffee fish 🎣 meat 🥩 salad they even have samples champagne chocolates etc ! I was in Selfridges Oxford Street on 14 December 2024, on my vacation in London desperate to borrow a telephone to make an urgent local call to a car rental company to try to stop them from accessing my credit card without my approval and also lodge a disputed charge. My phone had a data package that did not allow me to make calls. I tried public phones in booths but none work. I also approached some shops along the street, but they refused to help. So I decided to try my luck at Selfridges and spoke to a young man manning the perfume counter after the main entrance and explained my dilemma. He immediately took out his phone and told me to make the call. I offered him as an assurance he can have my phone in his possession while using his but he said not necessary. At at this point, we were total strangers plus I am a foreigner. I believe he is a promoter and not a permanent employee of Selfridges. But this young man's generosity and empathy for others speaks volume on his character and someone that Selfridges should seriously consider hiring with such strong leadership and compassionate qualities. I have attached a photo of him but unfortunately I did not get his name. Please send my best wishes to him again if you are still in touch with him.

Cheap tat that was worse than things on Ali express with a thousand times the price. It was enormously busy and production quality wasn't there on the items on sale.

Giant department store, kind of Harrods-light!

The staff is very helpful and they are well informed about the formulas and ingredients in the makeup isles, so many options!! Is very crowded during Christmas, is better to go with lots of time and plan ahead your shopping list.

Another legendary store that has just about everything you can imagine. I love the cafe and cinema and the whole place is amazing. It’s definitely a must visit and highly recommended.

It's a huge and nice departmental store here along Oxford Street. There are many levels, many brands, and even many sub-sections. I really love it when it's the holidays, when they spruce the entire space up. You can pretty much spend a good amount of time for the entire family, shopping anything from skincare and scents, to household appliances, and clothes for men ladies and kids. When you're done shopping, they even have restaurants on the top floor. Worst case scenario, if you're in the area and looking for a washroom, they have multiple washrooms available here too.

Selfridges, it's a shame you are making me feel very unfestive at the moment. I brought a Samsung Frame TV from you on the 19th November. It stopped working on the 8th December. Contacted Samsung with no joy on the horizon as to when they can repair it. So went back to Selfridges. Told by Selfridges they can't exchange. They need me to return and then wait for a refund, then I have to buy another TV. I got the TV collected Wednesday 12th December. Chased Selfridges customer service today to be told, I have to wait 7-10 days for Samsung to issue the refund to Selfridges and then Selfridges will issue the refund to me. Then I have to buy the TV again and wait for delivery. I brought this TV in November, so I would have a new one for Christmas. No chance of that. I have wasted hours of the phone to Selfridges and Samsung, and still no decent resolution. Terrible customer service from a premium store!

I ordered some important Christmas presents for my family and paid for delivery last sunday. The delivery arrived and the driver wouldn't leave as the pin number they sent me wouldnt work. After various calls and online chats it still hasn't been resolved. The speed of response is dreadful and disorganised for a company of such a name and reputation. I had a similar issue in the summer with a birthday present which was supposed to be delivered but they cancelled the order by accident then offered me £10 E voucher when I had to travel 200 miles to collect it not to let my daughter down on her bithday. Will not be using again!

This once high end feeling place has had a taste bypass! Whoever designs the window displays should step aside. Equally the Christmas stuff was gaudy, over ornate, tacky and cheap looking but with an exhorbitant price tag. Used to love this store, but it has really lost the plot

Selfridge is my local and to go shop since Debenhams and house of frazer is gone from Oxford stree. I love going there i get my perfume and beauty also my chocolate. Will always recommend a visit.
