I don't like the attitude of the guy who served me today. He was quite cocky and treated me like I could barely speak any English. DO NOT JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR SKIN COLOUR. I do not look like 'typical' British but I do speak English. (See, I'm writing this review in English)

I was there on 07/02/2024 at around 15:30 and was lucky it wasn't crowded so I could eat an apple tart and drink tea in peace. The girls were very nice and conveyed their good mood to me.

A bit expensive. Tasty but not great. It's not a bad place and overall I'm happy that we had our lunch there. Staff are helpful and friendly, some doesn't speak good English but that's French bakery after all 😅 I would expect bigger croissants, tastier coffee and fourth bar stool. Or keep everything as it is but for cheaper price. I would back and I can recommend this place to other hungry tourists 😄

These are the impressions of a Japanese person who came from Japan. The clerk was very kind and explained the bread to me. I made a purchase of about 1,143 yen and ate while sitting on a chair inside the store. There were many stylish breads that are not found in Japan.

Visited today to pass some time, food and pastries were amazing and not dry like a lot of the nearby cafe. There was only 2 staff I could see and 1 delivery man who delivered the fresh food. They were hardworking and had everything under control. The polish woman with blonde hair (she had a black and white stripy top on) was very friendly. Maybe The coffee could have been warmer but I loved it anyway.

The staff are friendly and went above and beyond to help me with my vegetarian meal for the TooGoodToGo magic bag. This for sure is a fab service which I haven’t received in any of the Paul stores in London. Thanks to the two lady staffs who were nice and kind to me.

PAUL is a family-owned chain of French bakery / delicatessen stores. The prices are very reasonable (for London) and the baked goods and sandwiches are outstanding. All breads and pastries are baked in house daily. Pret A Manger is okay, but go to PAUL if y ou possibly can.

Incredibly slow service, staff behind the counter ignore you instead of apologising for the wait. Had one girl behind the counter wafting around trying to look like she was busy doing something when in fact she just didn't want to serve. Walked out without buying anything.

To have this place next to the office is more than great. It's very difficult to find good bread in London, but this place has it. As well, it's where you're gonna find the best Palmiers, a must try treat.

My small slab of nutty milk chocolate was that scabby shade of white that happens to poorly stored chocolate. The gentleman behind the counter wearing the term 'qualite' on his apron tried to tell me that this was perfectly fine and was defensive, in denial and argumentative until rescued by his co-worker. Poor experience in a normally pleasant venue.

Called into this branch for a quick Coffee and Pastry. The coffee it put it mildly was tasteless! The pastry was good, nothing out of the ordinary. I've used Paul Restaurants in Paris and always been pleased but this particular branch let the brand down. On the positive side the staff did offer to change my coffee after I complained but I didn't have time unfortunately. I will try other Paul outlets in London as this might have been a one off, hopefully.

Sempre buoni i panini da Paul.

I always like it here, the courts, the old press offices and the inns. In the area is Dr Johnston's House which is a real gem. It's also rarely busy so you get a feel of the old London and can easily have a day out just in this square mile.

The quality of food in a Paul outlet is beyond question. However, the service let this branch down on this occasion. Again, I would have awarded it a "Good" had it been available. Average is too low, Very Good is not apt for this visit. It isn't a restaurant as such, but somewhere to sit down with a coffee and a pastry and watch the world go by.

A metà tra la panetteria ed il bar Paul vi offre una buona opportunità per fare una bella colazione all'Italiana. Brioches e torte fresche sono eccellenti ed il servizio molto cordiale. Consigliato! This is a great place to pick up some breakfast. Though their food is rather pricy (especially in England as opposed to France), it's absolutely delicious. The quiches are especially good, and don't forget to try the raspberry tart! Overall, the quality of food is excellent.

This place really saved our day on a London trip in February. We were walking around the Fleet Street area on a Saturday morning and nothing was open. We knew Paul's from earlier visits to their Covent Garden shop and in France. Their food is just delicious though usually rather pricy but you know that you get excellent value for you money - hence it's okay. Especially the bread is fantastic. It's miles away from the usual tasteless bakery - or even worse - supermarket things.
