Very rude staff, expensive products

And this is just because there's no way of writing a review without a star. I've ordered a chai latte, came tepid and tasting just like milk, I immediately ask if this was a chai latte and the waitress said yes... I just need to stir ir a little bit.. which I did....same taste milk with a hint of cinnamon nothing else. I've returned the product and no apologies therefore I said leave as it is. The store was not packed...the staff was anything by welcoming and this is not the first time I have a negative experience in a Pret a Manger branch...again wrong order served and waitress with an attitude. I am a paying customer and I do not get drinks for free...but after this... I'm done with Pret..overpriced..staff with no skills or knowledge on customer service. Deplorable decline and to be fair...not worth it!

I just ordered an oat flat white, I waited for my coffee and the girl announced only flat white, I said mine was with oat milk and she simply stuck an “oat” sticker on the lid and told me that was mine.

The worst branch, unfortunately, I spoke with a person who says he is Muhammad Islam, unfortunately he does not respect the customer. He's arrogant. I asked him about something. He left me talking to myself and did not answer me. This is the worst experience I have ever had. This is a large company that should be careful to choose people who care about customers first and foremost. Unfortunately, he told me that he is the head of the branch. This is the biggest disaster. If the official is like this, how will the employees be? 0 service 👎🏻

To the manager: Please be aware at about 5:15 pm I got a capuccino at your store and the milk had gone off. I had to throw it away.

I went to Pret last weekend with 3 of my friends. We ordered Caramel Blondie and classic chocolate which is clubbed under Pret Shakers. All shakes were unbelievably poor. Caramel Blondie had only ice cubes and I had to open the cap and drink it as straw couldn't fit in. I suggest the management to seriously analyze the way this shop is operating.

No toilet, they don't put a sign to tell that they don't have toilet but they wait for people to waist some money then they say sorry no toilet rubbish place 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Pret has increased their prices by 90 percent since 2020, and their operating profit has gone through the roof. I won't be gang raided I to joining there so called club this time. I did in the past, and they cancelled the smoothies.

Staff were so rude telling customers to wait while they replenished half full shelves. one employee even pushed a food trolley into another employee filling an adjoining fridge. customers waiting upto 5 minutes for pick up and go items. Manager was clueless and tables filthy. Not sure customer service is priority. Would never go Pret again, rather go to Black Sheep Coffee or Soho Coffee. In the end left without anything!

Average for this fast food chain. But at least they were open on Christmas Day.

The Food may be delicious but there’s no Wifi and the electrical outlets do not work at all! So for staying in it is not recommended. Take the food and leave!

Locale molto climatizzato in tutti i periodi dell'anno Servizio: prendi giù paghi e porti su. alla cassa sono gentili e ti propongono le offerte. Menù: quello che vedi esposto, hanno sempre tutto fresco e della giornata. Hanno un sacco di panini e primi piatti da provare. Cibo: come sempre mi sono fatto tentare oltre al classico panino ceasar che è buonissimo e lo consiglio ho preso le patatine chili che erano molto croccanti e piccanti e un budino, unica cosa un po fessa. Prezzo e Consigli finali: ovviamente qui i prezzi sono a livello con lo standard londinese, il costo è medio ma la qualità è alta visto che è tutto cucinato al momento e fresco e soprattutto vegetale. consiglio sempre di andarci.

Horrible customer service at front desk

They closed the toilet because of the march. They didn't close the shop for the money people are spending on every march. It's shame. I hope people will stop going during the march and affect your business.

Unlike every NYC Pret I've ever been to, be warned this place is NOT vegan friendly! We bought 2 oatmeals and then realized they were made with cow's milk. Practically had to beg the check-out person for napkins and toppings. I hope the homeless person we gave the food to enjoyed it. A complete disappointment. We went down the street to Blank Street Coffee and had a vegan cinnamon bun instead.

The food is very good and the staff is very kind. The best quality-price ratio we found in London.

I visited this cafe on Friday, October 20th, around 8-9 PM, and it pains me to leave a negative review, as I've been a loyal customer of this chain for the four years I've lived in London. However, on this particular visit, I encountered an unpleasant rudeness. I came in, as usual, to order my favourite coconut matcha latte. Upon receiving my drink, I quickly realised it was scalding hot to the touch and impossible to hold. I politely approached one of the staff, a tall, dark-haired young man with slightly curly hair, and requested a small additional cup to pour the tea into, hoping it would cool down faster. Even though I knew this wasn't standard procedure for preparing matcha lattes, it was boiling. To my surprise, this particular staff member, whose name I didn't catch, made it very clear that he was from Ukraine and flatly refused to provide me with a separate cup. When I asked why this refusal was, he responded rudely, stating that they couldn't afford to hand out cups to customers like me every time, insinuating that I was a repeat offender. What does "customers like me" even mean? Is this the new communication style adopted by your cafe? Subsequently, I asked for a coffee stirrer, and he was equally reluctant and made a disgusted face when I, flustered by the encounter, momentarily forgot the English word for "straw." Are you serious? The city of emigrants and I will be humiliated for the incorrect pronunciation of English words? However, what baffled me the most was that while I stood aside, attempting to cool my beverage, another customer, a young man, approached the counter and asked for two cups without any issue. This blatant double standard and unequal treatment left me bewildered. I came to your establishment seeking a pleasant experience but received rudeness and disappointment. This is not the service I have come to expect from a brand I have been loyal to for so long. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improving the customer experience at your cafe.

I will never understand how a place can be allowed to sell food and drinks without having customers toilets in the premises

I love Pert so much I can't even start my day without a latte from Pert! Every branch I’ve been to has the nicest staff and manager ever Unfortunately, in this branch the manager (who dont have his name tag on) was “managing the cafe” by harassing customers! He kept yelling on everyone ! as if we were in a military?! a cafe is a place for people to relax and unwind for a bit not to get yelled at! In our case my sister got her latte first and wanted to add some sugar and get some napkins so we head to the sugar table and we place our croissant on the table just for one minute and then they call for the 2nd cup. I went to grab it then the manager came and yell at my sister telling her that this is not a place to eat that she needs to move her stuff. My sister quickly moved her stuff and we went to the stand on Table, to have him coming over again disturbing our coffee break as he wanted us to stand in line to leave space even tho we were the only one standing no one was around he wants us to move like an army! Its a coffee place for god sake and i turned to my sister telling her that i just want to have my coffee and he came back with attack mood asking what?! he wanted to pick up a fight with a customer!! And i told him that he kept asking us to move. I was trying to have some coffee! He kept talking back to me and being very rude, so I started packing my stuff to leave and I told him to stop being rude. He followed me and said no I’m not rude instead of apologizing. Unfortunately, I’ve seen so many comments on the same Manager. I really hope that Pert’s management do something about it because he Ruining pert’s image.

Don’t state you open at 6am if your not open at 6am.

Is advertised online to be open at 0600, my bus was due at 0619 and the shop was still not open by 0616. There is no signage on the shop window to show that the opening times for the store either.

No toilet, slow service, plug points don't work. edit: why would I contact you via your website? Just answer saying 'toilets are out of service, plug points will be fixed by X date', etc

Ok, you can’t make someone wait for 10 minutes for a drink because someone else took a drink and you need to make other people drinks before that. It’s not my fault 🤦‍♀️ I just want my drink and don’t want to wait 10 minutes and be late for work. True, every Pret is different. This is not my fav. Well the drink was good, though.

Left the shop just now, after spending £12 pounds in food, Mohammed the shop manager(with no ID on him) approached me in a very confrontational away asking me if I payed for my food, while I was leaving the shop. I wonder if he did what he did because I’ve got the Mediterranean/dark beard look!? He approached me outside on the street, 7m away from the shop door while I was unlocking my bicycle and said his colleague told him I didn’t pay for my food. This is a disgusting and wrong attitude… all this while he followed me outside with another colleague to intimidate me. I’ll be send an official complain as I felt racially profiled in the Pret brunch. Plus no one offered the option of a receipt or even had a proper customer facing attitude while I was paying for it on the counter, perhaps that’s why his colleagues wouldn’t remember me because he did an awful customer service job. What an horrible experience….

Out of all the prets I visit, this is the most efficient one. During rush hour, I get my coffee in 3mins! They get the job done and are friendly. Coffee is pretty much perfect all of the time :)

Very good branch. Location is great next to marble arch. Good place to drink coffee and have a break while Roaming in London. Needs a bit of extra worker to keep the place clean.

Please state your opening time accurately on Google. You were not open till 6.40am this morning (Tuesday 27th June).

Asked for a strong soya matcha, employee said yes but only made a regular drink. When I asked again after having already tapped my subscription I was told to pay a surcharge to have the drink made as I had initially asked. This felt like a scam

1) Day 3, 22nd May 2023, They have turned off the power in the sockets, so probably people do not sit for long time -- have asked staff several times when will they fix the sockets, they keep saying that they don't know!!! A good cheeky way to save money by Pret - well done Pret! 2) Day 4 today on 23rd May 2023, and still the sockets are not working -- it is shame that no-one here in the branch knows when it will be fixed -- when I asked for the manager's name, they refuse to give the manager's name, what are they scared off 3) Day 5 today on 24th May 2023, still no power in the sockets -- this is getting ridiculous service from Pret -- are you doing this so that people do not stay for long in your coffee shop or to save electricity bills if to save electricity bills, then well done Pret and also for increasing our monthly Saas charges, well done 4) Day 6 today on 25th May 2023, still no power in the sockets - the manager said that it is a fuse problem ; but still not fixed 5) Day 7 today on 26th May 2023, still no power in the sockets...... 6) Day 7 to Day 17 on 5th June 2023, still no power in the sockets --- this is not good service, Pret 7) Day 18 on 6th June 2023, still no power in the sockets -- the management team is doing this purposely so people do not sit for long time,hhhhhmmmm???? 8) Day 24 on 12th June 2023 -- still no power in the sockets, I hope the management team is reading this review and data log

An absolute joke really. My daughter ordered a cooler and she was given a cup of water with a tiny bit of juice inside. When I asked to change it I was told I'd be given the same drink by the man behind the counter who surely was old enough to know not to talk like that to his customers. He kept moaning after giving me drink and said I was acting 'too smart'. Really shocking behaviour after being a customer for many years. Such rude, unprofessional staff shouldn't be working at a reputable chain like Pret!

Great study spot due to abundance in space! However, lack of plugs is a shame… (1 upstairs, 2 downstairs). Staff are polite but not very experienced. Toilets weren’t pleasant. Drinks generally good. LARGE VARIETY of foods/ sandwiches. Great location.

Good location but everything else needs work. The trainee at the till looked extremely unlikely to ever be able to manage it. Everything was dirty, from the windows to the stairs to the tables and chairs. Customers appeared always to say it was takeaway to save - and then sit down upstairs. At least four people sitting upstairs hadn’t bought anything - one was eating her own food - thus using tables which paying customers couldn’t. There was a man stealing all the sugar downstairs… There are cameras everywhere but presumably not being used. This place feels shabby and slightly shady; it needs a proper overhaul.

Chicken, avocado and basil sandwich w a bit of mayo on a light wheat bread IS the second best sandwich ever made. (NEXT TO A REAL CUBAN SANDWICH, )

Service was so poor today 21st Jan at 2.30pm. I bought an overpriced(but lovely)Vegan baguette. Got to the till and the guy serving("curly", bleached hair, with and attitude) asked me if I was eating in or taking out. I said take out and he then charged £5.80. I asked him if he was sure and if he could double check as the price in the ticket was different and he looked at it and said "well you did buy the avocado and olive baguette, that is expensive". I then asked him to double check(again) and he did charge the right price which was just over £4. No apology, no nothing, just OK YOU CAN PAY NOW. I did say thanks and goodbye but nothing came out his mouth apart from "NEXT PLEASE". So cheeky of Pret trying to make couple extra quids here and there. I wonder how many ppl he tricked into paying more then it is. Does it even go into his pocket?! And if it was a mistake, it really costs nothing to say sorry. My baguette was lovely tho.

Went with my son for something hot he unfortunately has not been not been well since within 1.5 hrs off leaving there,seating area just awful and service confusing and no toilets also no receipt when purchasing food and hot drinks very poor

Terrible. Avoid. No toilets despite seating for a good 20 people upstairs. Soup didnt have a roll, was filthy around the seating areas. Next time I will look for a pub.

Very busy branch , couldn’t find space to sit so got a take away and sat in the park . Staff very helpful and kind , service was very quick even though the shop was packed! Coffee was great and the chocolate croissant was very tasty and fresh.

You will find a Pret A Manger store everywhere in London like every 500ft. They provide foods for you to grab and go. During our stay in London we always went to this store for breakfast. I didn’t like their latte not even a bit just thrown it away after a slip.

Opening time says 6:30am, I was there at 6:40am standing in the cold with the doors locked. ridiculous.

Been going into Prets regularly for over 10 years. This is the worst store I've ever been into. Staff are hopeless, poorly motivated, left to do nothing, and not know what they are doing. Likely very poor management at this store. Very disappointing.

Not much to say - it’s Prêt. Coffee was well prepared, croissant was ok. Staff was ok. Music was tasteless vulgar garbage, as expected.

I have just bought lunch for over £20 in this Pret and wanted to use my App to collect Pret Perks, however, the guy behind the till said that I cannot use my barcode as it is only for coffee. It was kindly explained to him that I simply wanted to collect points and then a female colleague of his came to tell me that this is not possible, looking at me as if I am an idiot. Very disappointed! I will not revisit this brach again...

Service was an ok speed, however they didnt have half the things on their menu and they only told you when you reached the register so then they rushed you to make another decision. Probably wont be back

Vielfältige Auswahl wie bei jedem Pret A Manger der sich über zwei Stockwerke erstreckt. Es gibt eine unzähligen Auswahl an Baguettes, Sandwiches und Säften in der Kühltecke. Zu Stoßzeiten gibt es ausreichend Platz für eine Vielzahl an Personen. Hierfür gibt es mehrere Kassen. Die Qualität des Kaffees ist in Ordnung und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist im oberen Bereich aber im Vergleich zu einem Starbucks okay. Der zubereitete Cappuccino war leider etwas zu heiß, da die Milch / der Milchschaum etwas zu lang erhitzt wurde.

Random guy with suit jumped queue and comes to the front. Manager sees him and politely asked him to go back to the queue. He goes to the other side of the tilt and asks for the manager. Manager tells him again "sir I'm the manager please respect the queue". Random guy left. Everyone smiled. Good start of the day.

Opened nearly a half hour late, didn’t say sorry or explain why - the lady with red hair didn’t even say a word to anyone who’d been waiting when she opened the door. I understand things go wrong, but if you’re running late because of a delivery, a simple sign to say a rough opening time is all that’s needed.

Got a tortilla wrap and asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands before eating. Staff said i can't use WC not even to wash my hands. Very bad attitude, totally impolite.

They charged £5.99 (take away) for a salad when it clearly says £5.75. Told the girl who was serving me but did not believe me at all! At least if you change the price on the till, update also the ones on the shelves.. or train better your employees to avoid overcharging customers.

Omg it is hotter than outside. I can’t believe pret bosses leave their employees to work in this conditions, unbelievable. They were just surviving there …Simple air con or 2, is doesn’t cost much.

My family and I are from South Africa and every time we visit London we have choc frappes. We went to a total of three Pret stores today and NONE of them had frappes. Two of the three stores had no idea what we were talking about and the third was sold out.

Tho I love pret, I really needed to get coffee for my partner at 6 am and the store was closed. Idk why it says that it's open from 6 am on in here.
