The best restaurants serving French food in Southwark London

Me dieron un vale para el taller de elaboración de trufas de chocolate como regalo de cumpleaños. Duró unas 3 horas. La tienda es realmente encantadora, la señora que dirigió el taller era muy conocedora y servicial. Ella explicó la historia de la vaina de cacao, y probamos varios chocolates. Fui a casa con 2 bolsas de deliciosas trufas de chocolate y algunos polos de chocolate.

Comí desde aquí cuando había visitado el mercado callejero Maltby. Pedí sus patatas fritas, queso y pato plato de la firma. Las patatas fritas sabían increíble. Crujiente y sabroso. También tienen opciones sin gluten. Buen servicio.

Tucker served us twice, once to buy saucisson, once to get two raclette diners and he’s been incredible. Really great portions, nice little chat, the guys a legend. Thanks tucker and thanks Champagne and Raclette

This place is a hidden gem It’s in the castle centre at the elephant & castle All food is freshly cooked and you can even tell them what sort of things you like to eat and you will be served with an amazing meal of everything you like, You can get lovely sandwiches, rolls or other types of tasty bread filled with your choice of food. They do lovely smoothies in lots of healthy ingredients. The Sevice is top class, and all so very clean The prices are just right in fact better then other coffee shops near. You must give this place a go , just pop in and look at the lovely display and menu and you won’t want to eat or drink anywhere else round the elephant and castle 6 of us had a Moroccan meal today and it was so nice and will be back very soon .

¡Me alegra saber que hay un lugar dedicado en Dulwich que vende una variedad saludable de postres que incluyen opciones veganas! ¡Fui ayer con mi amigo por su oferta del 20% y NO me decepcionó! ¿¿Mejor que el batido de GBK / Five Guys que es local ????. Limpias y además tienen adhesivo para tapar el batido y evitar derrames.

The Galettes are absolutely fantastic, as are the wines and coffee. A great place to relax and have a chat with the owner. Absolutely spot on in every way!

We went to the restaurant after booking a couple of weeks in advance but years of saying we really wanted to go. It looks the part and is lovely inside. Sadly, the food was disappointing. Starters were at best, good. The mains, however, were incredibly poor. I had fish (on the bone) with new potatoes and my partner had the steak. It quite literally was just fat, and had no taste whatsoever. The table right next to us had the same and pushed it around their plates before leaving promptly. My partner mentioned to the waiter his dislike and was met with a 'stare' that was then directed at me ? I was shocked at the unprofessionalism. As the restaurant is small, it was very awkward. Anyway, we paid our £120 and left. We will not be returning. Had we had a more professional waiter, we would've just put it down to making the wrong choice on the menu - but it was actually the waiters response that made our mind up that we a) would not be returning, and b) wrote this review.

Excelente personal, realmente nos cuidó a pesar de estar ocupado. Servicio sin prisas pero atento. Los cuatro disfrutamos de nuestra comida y el desierto y el vino y el ambiente era cálido y feliz. Gran lugar

Animado café amable, desayuno vegetariano ENORME que era una gran relación calidad-precio. Muchas alternativas para el desayuno dulces y salados

Probably one the of the best croissants in London . At the very end of Maltby market you will find under the arch what I dare to say true french croissants . Wide selection of other vienoiseries and also worth noticing, they sell frozen ready to bake products (even croissant dough , so you can actually get creative with it) . Coffee is really nice. Truly awesome breakfast place.

Terrible service for a night out with my daughter for a special occasion. Ordered 2 drinks at 6.50 and waited 15 mins while other tables seated after we did were served. I asked the Maître D’ how long our drinks would be as we had a table at The Shard booked for dinner. He shrugged his shoulders and continued to welcome new guests into the establishment. I got up to ask him again, This time he said I could go to the bar to order.. I went to the bar and was told “table service only” I explained we ordered 20 mins ago and we were still waiting - just for 2 drinks!!!!! We sat back down and waited as we were then told our order hadn’t been out through the system. No apology. We finally were presented our drinks as we got up to leave and we had one sip and explained to the waiter why we couldn’t finish them as we needed to go to the restaurant. He muttered we were rude when we turned away. A ruined pre dinner drinks. Will not be returning

Siempre es un placer comer aquí la pastelería siempre es tan fresca mi favorita el albaricoque inglés y la manzana y la almendra. Una gran selección de baguette Buen café. La mejor pastelería de Londres.

Teníamos los espárragos y las setas para empezar y luego el lenguado y el risotto con trufas. Fue excepcional. Como cliente habitual le dijimos al gerente que el restaurante estaba frío solo para que le dijeran que no podía subir la calefacción. Finalmente encontró una solución mejor tarde que nunca.

I feel the restaurant chain isn’t as good as it once was. Appetizer was on the small side Ordered steaks with a side. Side that was ordered at the beginning didn’t arrive with mains so after a few minutes we caught the attention of the waitress to advise her. She said she’d find out where it was. She didn’t come back and the side never arrived. When we’d finished she asked if we’d got our side… we said “no”. She apologised and then said she thought it had gone to another table … well, that’s useful! Cheese to finish… very small portions! Would we return? There would have to be a good reason.
