This place is a hidden gem It’s in the castle centre at the elephant & castle All food is freshly cooked and you can even tell them what sort of things you like to eat and you will be served with an amazing meal of everything you like, You can get lovely sandwiches, rolls or other types of tasty bread filled with your choice of food. They do lovely smoothies in lots of healthy ingredients. The Sevice is top class, and all so very clean The prices are just right in fact better then other coffee shops near. You must give this place a go , just pop in and look at the lovely display and menu and you won’t want to eat or drink anywhere else round the elephant and castle 6 of us had a Moroccan meal today and it was so nice and will be back very soon .

This is my third visit to elephant eats. I have to say that the attention to detail and experience is always a pleasure. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious. The style is traditional Mediterranean and it does that very well. The price is up there, but that is expected with such a nice cafeteria. I would definitely advise trying Elephant eats and their smoothies

This place has reopened, actually the staff working are really nice people, first we thought they work for the gym but they are private company, the coffee is amazing and the paninis are served hot and taste great, I will certainly visit again.

The Galettes are absolutely fantastic, as are the wines and coffee. A great place to relax and have a chat with the owner. Absolutely spot on in every way!

Came here for a pastry and coffee while passing by during an afternoon walk for a snack topup and loved this cute little cafe. Wide selection of fresh baked goods, sweet treats and more which was accompanied well with a coffee. Recommended and great customer service too despite it being busy.

I suddenly feel like stepping into a traditional French resto. The smells around me remind me of my beloved Home Town Toulouse. Who would expect to be immersed into an old fashion cabaret when going upstairs. And here you are, sipping red wine and flirting with existentialism. The dim lighting is just right for squinting at your date and pretending you’re in a black-and-white French film. Meanwhile, the chairs feel like they were stolen from your chic grandmother’s dining room—comfy enough to stay for hours, questionable enough to feel authentic. But the pièce de résistance? The whole place feels like home. Not your home, of course—unless your home is a bohemian haven with Parisian vibes and a staff that somehow knows when you need another glass of wine before you do. It’s the kind of place where strangers nod at you as if to say, “Yes, we’re all très cultured here.” If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a 19th-century artist pondering life in a cosy Parisian nook—but with Wi-Fi and less tuberculosis—Toulouse Lautrec is the place for you. Five stars, a thousand accordion solos, and a resounding Vive la France!

Food was delicious, especially the Camembert with rosemary, but what really stood out was the exceptional level of customer service. Thanks Hanan and all the servers!!
