Our food was cold and was sent back Very disapointing

We chose Le Pont de la Tour for our wedding lunch at a significant cost, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality of service or food we received. Despite paying a premium, the meal was disappointingly average. The restaurant was empty, yet we were seated on a long sofa where guests had to move to allow others to use the services constantly. The food was unremarkable, and the dessert was equally underwhelming. The most unprofessional moment came when the manager casually threw spoons on the table during dessert service, which felt disrespectful on our special day. While the location overlooking Tower Bridge is beautiful, the overall experience did not justify the high price we paid. For those considering this venue for a significant event, I recommend carefully reviewing your expectations against the actual service and value

It was a classy and elegant dining experience with a lovely atmosphere. We were very pleased with the service, and the meats and chicken were absolutely delicious. The view was also beautiful—it was truly a wonderful experience overall.

Service was extremely slow. My chicken arrived raw, and when I raised the issue, the waiter immediately claimed that was not the case (even seeing the red parts on the chicken). He took it back and returned, saying the chef also did not consider the chicken undercooked, even though it was red. After I said I did not want a replacement (given the excessive time it had taken to be served initially), the waiter brought me back the undercooked chicken. Afterwards, I ordered some truffles that were never brought. Very bad service, and I can not imagine risking eating undercooked chicken. Also, if the restaurant sees even a slight possibility of this occurring, the staff's reaction should be better to avoid food poisoning or similar complaints. I'm very disappointed.

terrible food for the price and rude waitresses

I was really excited to come here for a very special birthday dinner with me and my fiance. Staff was very rude, menu was pricey so we only ordered two mains but the waitress was pushy and seemed annoyed when that was all we had to order. I had brought a birthday cake to the restaurant and was charged an absurd “cakage fee” for £5 per person. When the mains came I can assure you the food is not worth the price, it was so bland and ordinary and definitely not up to par with a restaurant of that price. The female waitress we had was extremely rude I was shocked, especially about us paying the ridiculous cakage fee (we had already agreed to it, and as we were having the cake she kept on reminding us about it as if we weren’t gonna pay it🙄). I’m not insinuating anything but we were the only people of color in the restaurant…

This place has gone downhill massively. The food was terrible, especially for the price and the service was very slow. The table next to us were complaining too. We ordered the beef tartar and it was so bland, the prawns were overcooked and the mussels we had to send back. The table next to us sent back their steak. Do not waste your money.

From the moment we arrived, we waited more than 30 minutes before someone took our order, and no one even asked if we wanted an aperitif. The wine was served at the same time as the food, and no one checked on us during the meal. Despite the presence of a sommelier, we had to wait to have our glasses refilled. Regarding the seafood platter at €90, one of the clams was not open, which is unacceptable for such a price. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she simply replied, "OK, do you want us to cook it again?"—which we found completely inappropriate. Finally, after our desserts, no after-dinner drinks were offered, and we had to struggle to get a waiter’s attention just to ask for the bill, leading to another long wait. In summary, good food, but the service was far too slow and inattentive. A disappointing experience.

The food tasted amazing, very good. The restaurant was beautiful, the view of Tower Bridge was perfect. I loved the place and I intend to go back. (Just one tip; the waiters could be friendlier).

Tarde perfecta, nos cuidaron desde el minuto en que llegamos hasta el final. Invité a mis amigos y todos quedamos impresionados por el servicio y la calidad de la comida y el vino. La única meunière fue bien ejecutada. Mi marido tomó el filete mignon, perfectamente bien cocinado. La carta de vinos es emocionante con algunos Chablis encantador. También tienen un gran rojo Borgoña para todos los presupuestos. El restaurante estaba ocupado y el personal ha sido bien entrenado para trabajar bajo presión.

Absolutamente horrible. Posiblemente una de las peores experiencias de restaurantes en el Reino Unido. Personal grosero no entrenado que sirve comida patéticamente cocinada. Si este fuera un campo de entrenamiento para estudiantes universitarios no me sorprendería. Los elementos del menú fueron tergiversados ya que los ingredientes enumerados no están disponibles actualmente o en crecimiento. Muy caro y una representación muy triste de lo que este restaurante era en su día.

portion size was small!! ordered the prawns and literally there was one each!!... I also didn't like that you had to order sides separately from the main meal. seemed way to expensive for what we got. Having said that... the food was absolutely delicious. loved the orange crepes and the lobster. flavours were absolutely amazing

Sophisticated and delicious atmosphere! It is located in front of the Tower Bridge in London, and has an outdoor terrace where the view is even more beautiful, perfect for enjoying brunch! Absolutely stunning, the service was impeccable and the food was outstanding, possibly the best I’ve had in a long time . However it was expensive but because of the location and the type of restaurant, it was expected but overall 5* and would definitely return again

Simply delicious. Started with the French onion soup, moved on to the Filet and finished with the Crepes Suzette. Service was immaculate and the room is a beautiful setting g looking out over the Thames and Tower Bridge.

The restaurant had a great view and food was ok, but the service was low standard. The hostess was the only person with a smile in her face. The sommelier literally mistreated a coworker in front of us, the waitress was inattentive, overall was not a good experience. We chose this place to spend Christmas Eve and we regretted it.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Food mediocre, zero atmosphere, and the staff all walked around with faces resembling slapped arses. It was a corporate event, with free drinks, but they actually refused to serve at the bar, and they was one staff member who walked to the bar, told her staff off in front of everyone waiting for drinks then turned to those at the bar and told them all, "you need to go and sit down to eat your dessert. Shocking service. Never again. There were approximately 80 of us. It was pre booked,and a set menu, so they didn't have to prepare or cook to order. They were paid to provide a service. They failed epically and the staff definitely need some urgent customer service training.

Booked through The Fork, received email the day after that booking was cancelled. Called the restaurant and reconfirmed booking. Received an sms asking to confirm again and after responding yes, received further confirmation booking was ok. Arrived at the restaurant the day after, no booking there and they told us the kitchen closed half hour before. Shown sms and they hosted us nevertheless. Service well below par: ordered expensive wine, did not decant it. Steak tartare for a French restaurant was very mediocre and of suspicious dark colour. Asked for Tabasco, the waitress had to go and ask for it as didn’t know what it was. Arrived with an almost empty bottle of it and wanted to pour it herself rather than leaving it on the table. So weird. Espresso coffees were served in a chipped espresso cup and a large cappuccino cup. All for a mere £168 per person: 1 bottle of wine, 5 cocktails, 3 bottles of water, 5 mains, 8 sides, 2 bread, 2 coffees. A bit of a joke…

You can always guarantee a wonderful night here. The food is delicious if not on the small side. 😋

During our visit to London, my brother and I needed last minute dinner plans and found an open reservation for Le Pont de la Tour. Right away i was impressed by the upscale and stylish decor and the friendliness of the staff that greeted us. We were seated by a windows that gave a great view of London Bridge, which was cool. French food was good though depending on your taste, you may want to ask for salt to enhance it. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Le Pont de la Tour, near Tower Bridge, offers an elegant indoor fine dining experience with excellent service. I started with the grilled prawns, which were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The roast Challans duck was another highlight—cooked exactly as I requested, perfectly pink, with tender meat and crispy skin. The French cheese selection was delightful, but the desserts fell a bit short. The ambiance is sophisticated, with many diners dressed smartly, making it a great spot for a an upscale evening out. Recommended for its french dishes and refined atmosphere!

My partner and I had a lovely meal on late Tuesday night. Jakob was looking after us with some great food annd amazing cocktails. Really recommend to go for the duck as main. Very juicy and beautifully presented. And their twists of negroni are the ones to return.

Alright. Review of Le Pont de la Tour. So I made a reservation (not realizing it was super fancy which was my bad). However, we were the only one’s there. We requested to be sat outside for our anniversary with a nice view of the London Tower Bridge. Instead, we were sat inside. There wasn’t a way to make a reservation for just drinks, so we told our waiter when we were seated. We were later asked to move to the bar, but were actually seated in a waiting area with no view of the bridge, instead just an orchid. My wine glass was less than half full and the glass was dirty. Should have asked for a refund :/ I had really high hopes and never leave reviews… however this experience warranted one. Don’t go here if you want to cheers and enjoy the London Bridge. Just not the place!

I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and the food is indeed superb. Thats why I’ve been a regular customer. The service also used to be superb. But my most recent and long planned reservation (13th Oct) was abruptly cancelled at short notice by them as they suddenly had a larger more important booking? I felt so hurt by that. A glass of ‘bubbles’ was offered if I booked again and tbh I’d expect a bottle of ‘Champagne’. Felt very cancelled….Grrr

Great service from Muqtadir. And amazing atmosphere

A la llegada mi abrigo y chaqueta estaba colgado sin que tuviera que preguntar, el restaurante era luminoso y acogedor, con mesas muy bien presentadas, el camarero era educado y no demasiado exigente. Teníamos el menú de 3 platos que solo tenía 3 opciones para el entrante y principal, y el postre. El menú usaba términos culinarios franceses para que la gente no supiera qué es algo de la comida. Mi entrante (jambón de Bayona, tomates secos remoldeados) era de un buen tamaño y presentación, sabía bien, pero nada sorprendente, mi amigo tenía corazones de gema Veloute de guisante, pois pequeños, aceite de oliva Para mi principal tenía corona de pollo asado, gallina de los bosques, col rizada, pompones Lyonnaise, vino tinto jus. Que se presentó muy bien y el jus se vertió justo después de que la placa se colocó hacia abajo Pensé que la Lyonnaise estaba en el lado pequeño y el pollo estaba un poco en el lado seco, pero en general era sabroso. Un amigo tenía el pescado ( menú en fotos ) dijo que era muy agradable, nada para inspirar lo imaginativo en mi opinión. mi otro amigo tenía la ratatouille que le gustaba, a mi me faltaba presentación pero quizás no mucho puedes hacer? Teníamos una copa de vino espumoso que vino con la comida, que era agradable. Para mi postre tomé la Crema Brûlée. Era un buen tamaño y crujiente y suave crème como era de esperar. Una de mis amigas tenía el fondant de Chocolate que le gustaba, a mí me parecía que estaba en el lado de la secadora. El servicio era muy bueno y me sentí que tenía suficiente para comer, pero un poco más de comida habría sido perfecto, especialmente en la parte principal. En general lo pasamos muy bien. I ate at Le Pont de la tour about 15-years ago and remember the service and food being faultless. At that visit I had a chocolate souffle that took an extra 20-minutes to make and was worth the wait. I also remember the restaurant being packed and that we had booked quite far in advance. My visit yesterday was very different. First of all, the restaurant was empty. There were only 5 other diners inside which is so strange for a Friday lunchtime. Secondly, service was slow. Considering there were very few other diners to serve, I had to ask for my water to be topped up three times. I know it seems like something small, but this restaurant used to have impeccable service. The food still speaks for itself. I ordered from the lunchtime set menu. I had a salad, followed by sole and then a chocolate fondant for dessert. I'm not sure what the dressing on the salad was, but it was delicious! Also, the portion of sole was huge. I love chocolate so had high hopes for the fondant and it did not disappoint. It was served with an espresso ice cream which complemented the fondant very well. The menu is excellent value for money at £35 and includes a glass of champagne. The restaurant is in Shad Thames, right near Tower Bridge. There are lovely views of the bridge from the restaurant.

Great ambience, views of Tower Bridge and excellent service. We hadn't noticed that it was a French restaurant and actually wanted to eat fish and chips. The restaurant employee made it possible for us to enjoy the dish. A big thank you for that! The restaurant is highly recommended because of its very courteous service. We will definitely eat there again.

Un regalo de cumpleaños, y basado en una de las experiencias pasadas de la fiesta, todos estábamos deseando que llegara. Empezaré con los positivos. Las bebidas eran geniales. Cócteles buenos y el vino elegido también fue bueno. Los positivos han terminado ahora. Servicio terrible. Creo que el turno cambió a mitad de nuestro almuerzo. En primer lugar, después de mencionar las alergias de mi hermana, los gougeres llegaron a tener con nuestros cócteles. El camarero acaba de decir que mientras las deja, no puedes tenerlas. No hay advertencia, no se ofrece sustituto. -Nada. Llegaron nuestros platos principales, bueno para ser más exactos, llegaron tres de los cuatro platos principales. Dos de las medias langostas más pequeñas que he visto, el filete más duro que he comido, literalmente temía por mis dientes tratando de comerlo. ¿Lo pedí bien hecho? Sin medio. Pink. Servido con patatas fritas, no con patatas fritas como sugiere el menú. Mi cuñada vegetariana dice esperar, y esperar y seguir esperando. Eventualmente un camarero fue marcado, porque ninguno de los empleados notó que solo tres de nosotros teníamos comida. Su ensalada de remolacha y papas fritas habían sido falsificadas. 10 minutos más tarde llegó un plato de té, no un plato principal con algunas cosas de ensalada arrojadas sobre él. No hay atisbo de pensamiento o arreglo. Nos habrían cobrado 32 libras por esta ensalada de lado si mi cuñada y yo no nos manteníamos firmes. Los postres fueron claramente promedio. Sin embargo, si revisa la carta de vinos por botella, tiene sentido obtener mejor vino por copa que pague de más por menos vino por botella (comprobado en Vivino también). Sin embargo, bebe en cuanto a que es una gran carta de vinos, excepto el sobreprecio por botella. Los gougeres estaban secos y decepcionantes, y el steak tartare... por favor envíe a su chef a París para tomar un steak tartare en Les Deux Palais, y cambiará su punto de vista sobre el plato que sirve con patatas fritas (escandaloso: ). El pan que vino con él fue decepcionante también, tanto como el resto de la comida. Necesitas ayuda seria, porque no está ni cerca del francés. La salsa dura sobre sarro de bistec cuando se supone que es cremoso, los gubiares secos. Tal vez para las personas que vinieron del pub y querían probar smth new es bueno, pero no para las personas que desarrollaron las papilas gustativas reales.

Recientemente almorzamos por un aniversario de boda - y disfrutamos de la experiencia en general. El entorno es precioso y teníamos una mesa exterior con una gran vista. El servicio fue excelente, amable y profesional. En el lado negativo -teníamos un grupo de 20 personas que parecían creer que la terraza era su área privada -eran tan ruidosos y desconsiderados- constantemente de pie con su vagabundo en mi cara que tuve que pedir que se movieran las mesas -esto se trató profesional y rápidamente-, pero el restaurante tal vez necesita acordonar a los grupos grandes, ya que esto fue un verdadero defraudador en el día -el vino y la comida eran caros -£ 80 por una botella de Pouilly -Humo... -la comida era decepcionante -mi entrante de sarro de bistec era gris en lugar de rojo, el cóctel de crustace de mi esposa tristemente carecía de crustace -principales y postres eran igualmente decepcionantes Lástima porque es un lugar encantador

This restaurant really surprised me. I was afraid it would be a posh place not really worth it, and it was just the opposite. Great food, lovely lovely service (we were served by Patrick!) and amazing ambiance. Will definitely go back.

While the view is gorgeous, we were less happy with the quality of food and service that came along with it. There was nothing to complain about for the food but for those prices, you would really expect better quality… maybe I’m just a sucker for good value. There just didn’t seem to be that much pride or thought taken to make each dish special or memorable. However, I could have just ordered the wrong things as well. While the waiters seemed friendly and happy to serve, the maitre’d seemed to give off an arrogant air and wanted to be off doing other errands than to make us feel more welcome.

Delicious and cute spot for French fare. The mussels, the Comte, the sea bass and the ratatouille are really yummy. Nice cocktails, and a beautiful view from the tables outside. Service was generally good, albeit they forgot our drinks once and our dessert. Nonetheless definitely would recommend and hope to be back!

Lovely service and view of the Tower Bridge. Unfortunately the menu online was completely different to the one given in person. The duck leg and liver terrine which was bland, dry, and unfortunate. If the liver was mixed with smaller pieces of duck leg throughout the terrine it would have had more of the delicious liver flavour and texture. The blini dish was good aside from the blini itself, as it was bland of any sweet or salty flavour.

We wanted to enjoy our dinner at leisure, but the dishes were rushed through in no time, despite repeatedly indicating. This was somehow not really understood by the serving staff, who were friendly though. And that was a shame, because the dishes were really delicious.

Amazing restaurant , perfect location . We selected from the pixe fixe menu which was superb and a great choice to suit all our tastes . Service was also outstanding . We totally enjoyed our lunch . Would definitely recommend. Has outdoor seating which was wonderful , perfect for sunny afternoons and warm evening , with a view of The Tower Bridge along the river . Fantástica comida y ubicación, siempre nos encanta y vivimos justo por ella, sin embargo el servicio de esta tarde no fue genial, los entrantes se dejaron a un lado durante 10 minutos con moscas aterrizando en él, era un restaurante vacío y el personal estaba charlando en lugar de servir nuestra botella de vino llena en nuestras copas vacías

Wonderful. , perfect location . Food was outstanding , we selected the fixe pixe Menu which had a lovely choice on the menu. Service was excellent. Overall outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

Took advantage of the special Evening Standard menu offer at the Le Pont de Ia Tour “Bistrot “ small but varied menu with some tasty food being presented. Very good wines and some delicious cocktails. We were blessed with great weather so sat outside overlooking Tower Bridge. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. A second visit during Sumer 24, the standard of both food,wine and service was excellent. An excellent lunch with lovely views of the Thames and Tower Bridge.

We love this restaurant and chose it for a special celebration when three of our grandchildren completed their studies. The restaurant picked up on the reason for our visit and acknowledged it, making the meal feel extra special. I was very pleased we had decided on le pont de la tour for this occasion. Excellent food and service as usual, sat in the sunshine with a perfect view of Tower bridge. What more could you want?

Disappointing! It started with the menus, whichever even on the website are blurry and impossible to read! The main course we both wanted was unavailable and waiter did not mention it at the start. Oysters were opened by a blind man and awfully presented, I ordered a medium rare steak and got a medium/well done one, which meant everyone had to wait for it to be recooked. It came back overdone again and lacked seasoning. It was a nice piece of meat so tasted OK but for £40 I expected it to be better cooked. This place will always draw crowds due to location and waiters did their best but for over £100 per head, I will not be coming back.

I came here almost 12 months ago and was delighted with the service and food but this visit was the exact opposite and it’s pretty clear that there has been a change of staff/management Service was slow, inattentive and barely any interaction. We ordered a seafood platter for two and at £90 I expected more. But everything was terribly salty including a ‘side’ of moules mariniere The table opposite is sent their steak back twice- how hard can it be to cook a steak medium rare! Poor. Won’t be going there again.

It was a long wait for food even though they weren't busy. Staff were friendly but slow never came to check if food was good. Didn't enjoy my main at all but no one around to complain to. I had guinea fowl which was dry only they veg weren't dry, may have been better with more of the sauce but no one to ask. Will not be going back.

Look elsewhere for a fun evening with friends or family..... After 32 years in the city, I can say that Le Pont de la Tour used to without a doubt the best restaurant in the city. World famous for its impeccable service and food ..... times have changed..... On Tuesday evening we were unfortunate enough to witness first hand some truly appalling management at the Le Pont de la Tour. Whilst considering the menu and enjoying some pre dinner cocktails in the warm summer sun, we were approached by who we later discovered was the Restaurant Manager, but instead of the nice warm welcome you would expect, my guests received a dressing down being told to keep the noise down as we were "laughing" too loudly. An experience that made us all feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we decided to take our leave. If you are looking for stuffy out of date dinning in near silence, then this may be for you, but if you want to have a lovely evening with fun and laughter, I would suggest going elsewhere (the Chop House next door is great, it certainly where we ended up having a wonderful evening)

The food and decor here was great and you get a nice view of tower bridge. However, the service was not what you’d expect for the type of establishment. Everyone who served us seemed a bit confused / disorganised although it wasn’t particularly busy - maybe new staff. Anyway, would return for the ambience and food anyway.

A good French Cuisine Dining experience. The spot by the river and Tower Bridge is nice. The atmosphere is cozy and al a cart menu, nice with variety. The wine list has many choices from different countries, the staff were happy to help, describing the flavour and what is best for your menu choices.

We decided to order a deluxe seafood platter along with some drinks. However, I was deeply disappointed with both the service and the quality of the seafood. To begin with, when the seafood platter was brought to our table, the waiter accidentally dropped a prawn on my bag. Despite this mishap, the waiter did not offer to replace the prawn or take any corrective action. This lack of attentiveness was disheartening. Furthermore, as I started eating, I noticed that one of the mussels had an extremely unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a dead fish. Concerned about the quality of the seafood, I brought this issue to the attention of the manager. Astonishingly, the manager insisted that the mussel was fresh, dismissing my concern entirely. This response struck me as ridiculous, especially considering the amount of money I had paid for the meal, which amounted to $200. Having traveled extensively and dined in various establishments worldwide, I have never encountered such poor service and low-quality food. It is regrettable that I am left with the impression that the discrimination against my Chinese background influenced the treatment I received. But i would like to stated that i came from Hong Kong.

View was amazing, our waitress was great, but our croque monsieur was only 1/2 a sandwich (so a whole sandwich between 2 of us at £18), it was dry and hard. I can make better croque monsieur myself.

Exquisite French restaurant on the Thames. I let the staff order for me and suggest wines. It was terrific to let go, slow down and enjoy life at the Le Point de la Tour. Thanks to the ace Suzanne Moore for meeting me there and showing me the best of London!

Fantastic location for a romantic dinner with beautiful views. Great service and very tasty selection on the menu. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok- nothing particularly amazing. Pre paid for the 4 course lunch menu with 4 tasting wines, we paid £240 for the food and we left feeling hungry and unsatisfied. My daughter had also prepaid for this birthday lunch and now they are arguing on whether they have received payment when one staff member confirmed via a phone call that they could see the amount of £240 had been prepaid and settled.

The food was great overall, though the potatoes could've been better. The place had a stunning view and the wine was delicious. But, there was a major issue with the attitude of the short French waiter. He assumed we couldn't pay our bill and treated us condescendingly. It made the whole vibe uncomfortable, like we weren't welcome. Plus, we got served food we didn't order, which was taken back but still ended up on our bill. I paid without double-checking, but my partner noticed later. When we pointed it out, the waiter said we couldn't get an immediate refund, which wasn't true. His attitude totally ruined what should've been a lovely meal by the river. I felt judged, looked down on, and robbed. I will add that all the other waiting staff were very professional and nice. It was only the short French man who had a better than attitude. It's almost a week on and I still have not received my refund. This place is a joke. Even McDonalds can mange that. Don't waste your money here

The view is magnificent (of course) but the service is what really made the night! I had forgotten how much that attention to detail I would expect in the US elevates the dining experience. Just great!

Disappointing. We sat outside, and the setting over looking Tower Bridge is fantastic. However the service was slow and really patchy. My father had the roast beef which was okay, but the Cod that my mother and I had was on the plain side. All the food came on cold plates so was already luke-warm when it got to the table and got cold fast. To be fair, after we complained and took the service charge off the bill, the Maître d' was profuse in his apologies.

The view is lovely, food was good and the venue was quiet during lunch on a Wednesday, yet the wait staff gave us the wrong bill twice before we received our correct bill. It felt like it was an effort for them to deal with us.

My husband booked outdoor seating (which is the main draw of this restaurant) weeks in advance. This is so we could enjoy views of the Tower Bridge specifically. On the day, we were escorted to a cramped corner of the indoor restaurant near overlooking a tinted mirror and concrete plateau. We were informed the weather was too bad to serve food outside, yet there was also a party outdoors for drinks that same evening. Fair enough, but it’s in good practice to notify guests in advance of big changes to their reservation to avoid disappointment. Staff were polite and apologetic, but there were no attempts at resolving the problem. It put a damper on our Friday evening and we ended up leaving.

Really unprofessional people. Booked well in advanced a table for two outdoor for a date night which was very special for me. I confirmed my booking 24 hours before again to make sure everything is lined up. However, when I turned up I found out that my table is not reserved outdoor any more. There was a big group instead who took all the tables outside. The silly excuse they gave me is that the weather is not right. However for the other party weather was alright to drink outside. They wasted so much of my time. It ruined my Friday date night and they didn’t even offer any alternate solution. The question is if as a customer you cancel the booking they charge you a fee but when they do it they don’t give a damn. Never ever again! They are unprofessional and unreliable.

Come here to celebrate 25th Birthday. The service is so perfect. Staff is very detailed and attentive. This restaurant gives fine dining vibes. Portion might be small. But I highly recommend for special occasions. You must order Crepes Suzette. I was awed with how cool it is. Shout out to Salar and chef Kiran who made our night so special. Thank you 😊.

Gave this restaurant five stars on previous occasion but return visit today and it sadly seems to have gone downhill a bit. Food very average - chicken salad bland and uninspiring steak tough chewy and small. Slow service. Disappointing.

We had a fabulous meal. There were four of us. We first went to the bar to have a cocktail and oysters. Bartender Vanessa was delightful and made great cocktails. Then we went to the dining room. Had a great meal. One of my sons described his duck as the best he had tasted. My Dover Sole was exceptional. For desert we had Crepe Suzette, which was perfect. We left happy after a great meal. One word of caution: you get what you pay for and this fabulous meal was incredibly expensive.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing service at Le Pont de la Tour recently, and I must say it was truly exceptional. Vanessa, the Bar Supervisor, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere added an extra layer of charm to the evening. A heartfelt thank you to Vanessa for creating such a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The service was 100% amazing loved the restaurant however our food tended to get cold very quickly and had to ask to re-heat our food. However the staff were very polite and had no issues with heating our food up again. The atmosphere was very pleasant and warm. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We were offered some warm bread 🥖 and butter to start us off with. All the food was very delicious and scrumptious. The food portion may look small but very filling.

Had a lovely meal here on Sunday, looking out onto the Thames for our anniversay. The views were amazing! All the staff who served us were lovely, and Salar, who was our waiter, did a fantastic job - he was attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and looked amazing - would recommend the cheeseboard with port! It was quite quiet when we visited, but can imagine it could get very busy - we'd definitely visit again!

We were a table of 10 celebrating a 50th. Was an early February, Monday lunchtime and only 2 other tables were occupied. Food and drinks were great, when they turned up. Honestly ylthe worst service I've had in FOREVER. Asked for it to be removed from the bill, think I've only ever done that twice in my whole life, it was that bad. Such a shame, its a great spot, but most of us said we wouldn't return on the back of that experience. Especially considering how much money we spent.

The restaurant is well located although food was merely adequate. The waiter was exceptionally good and we had a great time. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff , Salar was taking care of our table and he was kind and helpful. We loved the view on Tower Bridge and the style inside the restaurant. We were celebrating friends birthday and she received a complimentary cake with candle. We were also a bit late but the staff was kind enough to hold our table. The food was very good , wine tasty but a bit expensive.
