Have been before and had good food and servuce, today the food took forever to come out. Nearly an hour for 3 starters. The cheese soufflé was not a soufflé and had been blasted in a very hot oven. Burnt to the sides of the dish. Nearly an hour and a half for the mains. Steak frite very mediocre. Tough and chewy with some wilted parsley on the side. Some dishes were better but overall not good. Service was pleasant but sketchy. Thinking of trying elsewhere next time as it was poor value

Great location right at the side of the Thames and close to HMS Belfast, The Shard, Tower Bridge etc. It's on the edge of a bustling eating area in an arcade. We were greeted by a lovely lady who knows how to do customer service. We'd booked in advance which I'd say is a good idea as the place was very busy and lively with a great atmosphere. We chose from the fixed price 2/3 course menu, limited choice but we were happy with it. You can go a la carte if you like and want more choice. The food was nice and service very good, prices are reasonable for central London. A good experience, we'd be happy to go again.

I went to this restaurant in December. It was very busy. There was a lot of Christmas parties and you definitely need to pre-book before you go here it was a nice clean restaurant and the food was very delicious and the customer service was also on point. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.

Went Friday night ,the best thing about this place is the view over the river. Our waitress tried so hard and was lovely. The food took forever and was total rubbish, something must have been occuring with kitchen staff at a guess. Honestly totally pathetic, refused to pay for three of our meals.

We had a lovely meal. The food was all delicious and the service excellent. The menu is nice and some lovely wines to accompany the food. I enjoyed the sharing steak , the truffle Hollandaise sauce was yummy. Topped off by a view of the river

We were walk in customers and had a very good evening. The manager on duty Ilona from Poland was very professional and welcoming and John from Alicante Spain always ready to know if we are enjoying ourselves and needing anything. Actually all the people working there was lovely and helpful. The food was tasty and substantial and the atmosphere vibrant and electric. Although it was very packed and busy we were very well looked after. My friends were impressed with the good food and all around good service. On leaving we were being said goodbye to as if family being sent off on holiday. The best part of the end of the night was the invite to return when possible as the staff are looking forward to see us again. They were very genuine. We entered hungry and cautious and we left bellies filled and laughing vowing we would definitely return again. Most of the company I was with were travellers from outside London and was surprised by the friendly and good service we received. Baruch Ben-David

A wonderful meal of delicious, perfectly cooked moules, and melt-in-the-mouth beef cheek bourguignon, gorgeous wine (try the Corbières), and stupendous service! We left the restaurant feeling thoroughly spoiled and extremely well looked after. A perfect meal for my birthday! Thank you so much 💜

I had already researched my lunch stop via trip advisor and was making my way over Tower Bridge and along the Embankment towards a rated eatery in Borough Market. Well I'm glad I never made it as along the route on a lovely morning I passed Cote right by the river Thames. A fabulous position not only overlooking the river with all its interest but the Tower of London and the iconic skyline. The restaurant had seating inside or out so I elected outside, the weather being kind, and was taken to a table which must be one of the best in London for the view. I chose their Prix Fixe lunch and every course was well presented and freshly cooked. Whitebait, fresh crispy and presented in a little copper pan, A delicious ribeye steak cooked perfectly to my preference and to round it all off a very delicious Tarte de Citron with cream. The meal was helped down with a large G and T and I noted they served a quality tonic water also. Service was slick, professional but unhurried and a bill for lunch including drink and service at one of the best located tables in London for a tad less than £30 has to be the bargain on the century. Well done all the team at Cote for providing a really first class experience throughout. I will be returning for sure on my next visit to London.

Food was lovely but service was so disappointing I wouldn’t eat here again. We ordered a selection of plates that were whisked away as soon as they looked vaguely finished (they weren’t), we had only just ordered dessert (having asked three times for the menu- generally the waiters were very inattentive and it was hard to get service) when we were told the restaurant closing. We had only been there for about 1hr 15 minutes by this point and weren’t given our table until 8.35pm despite booking for 8.15pm (which was earlier time for evening sitting). We told the waiter we needed to have dessert but then were told three times (whilst eating it) we needed to go and were given the bill before we’d received dessert which I’ve never experienced before. As soon as we had paid I felt like we were just being hassled out, particularly by one large bald guy who resembled a bouncer. Despite spending over £100 on a couple of bottles of wine we had plastic pint glasses planted on our table and when I went to toilet I returned to the table to find my wine glass was gone and wine decanted into plastic. This totally spoilt the enjoyment of almost a full glass of a nice wine, which I ended up leaving. The final straw was the bouncer guy coming over and telling me us rudely they were closed and we “needed to leave”. It wasn’t even 10.30pm and still felt early - plus other customers were still there. We felt like we were pushed out and it completely soured the evening which was a birthday celebration - and felt a bitter end. Bora Bistro I had high expectations - and you failed miserably.

We really enjoyed every single dish! Especially beef Wellington. House red wine was lovely as well. Casserole Croute restaurant is cozy, it reminds so many places in France! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

This place is a hidden gem It’s in the castle centre at the elephant & castle All food is freshly cooked and you can even tell them what sort of things you like to eat and you will be served with an amazing meal of everything you like, You can get lovely sandwiches, rolls or other types of tasty bread filled with your choice of food. They do lovely smoothies in lots of healthy ingredients. The Sevice is top class, and all so very clean The prices are just right in fact better then other coffee shops near. You must give this place a go , just pop in and look at the lovely display and menu and you won’t want to eat or drink anywhere else round the elephant and castle 6 of us had a Moroccan meal today and it was so nice and will be back very soon .
