Located just round the corner from Borough Tube, seats outside, comfy seats inside, the guy serving's English was not the best and probably I did not end up with the best choice. I ordered a toasted chicken Panini, a coffee and went and sat down. There was a lot of coming and going and the guy brought me my coffee, I did wait a little longer that I expected, and when the Panini came, it was fresh, but a little dry. Would I come back - yes, its in a convenient place and I would certainly persevere with the guy who took the order, as there seemed to be a lot more better looking dishes going past.

This is a wonderful place, near my work, and I have been there a lot. I was just googling it so that I could send a link to a colleague for where to meet and I realised it has very few reviews despite it being a great spot so I thought I would write one. Firstly the coffee is top-notch and more affordable than any around. Many of my colleagues buy a coffee every single day from here. The lunch options are wide ranging - today I was in a rush and have grabbed an outstanding sandwich - it is in a crusty granary baguette and has smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, cucumber and it's sooo good - am chewing as I type. Another memorable one was a frittata and there are lots of things still on my list to try including something that looks like a big empanada pasty. I've also tried a lot of the cakes and pastries which were all really good and huge. Once I shared an epic oblong pastry with sliced apples on it with my colleague and we were both full. A final important thing to say is that the staff there are lovely and friendly people and there are some nice tables to sit at and more space downstairs if you need. Strong recommend from me!

Food was delicious, especially the Camembert with rosemary, but what really stood out was the exceptional level of customer service. Thanks Hanan and all the servers!!

I suddenly feel like stepping into a traditional French resto. The smells around me remind me of my beloved Home Town Toulouse. Who would expect to be immersed into an old fashion cabaret when going upstairs. And here you are, sipping red wine and flirting with existentialism. The dim lighting is just right for squinting at your date and pretending you’re in a black-and-white French film. Meanwhile, the chairs feel like they were stolen from your chic grandmother’s dining room—comfy enough to stay for hours, questionable enough to feel authentic. But the pièce de résistance? The whole place feels like home. Not your home, of course—unless your home is a bohemian haven with Parisian vibes and a staff that somehow knows when you need another glass of wine before you do. It’s the kind of place where strangers nod at you as if to say, “Yes, we’re all très cultured here.” If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a 19th-century artist pondering life in a cosy Parisian nook—but with Wi-Fi and less tuberculosis—Toulouse Lautrec is the place for you. Five stars, a thousand accordion solos, and a resounding Vive la France!

Came here for a pastry and coffee while passing by during an afternoon walk for a snack topup and loved this cute little cafe. Wide selection of fresh baked goods, sweet treats and more which was accompanied well with a coffee. Recommended and great customer service too despite it being busy.

The Galettes are absolutely fantastic, as are the wines and coffee. A great place to relax and have a chat with the owner. Absolutely spot on in every way!
