The best restaurants serving Fast food food in England

We popped into the Leon restaurant before boarding the train to France. It was a Friday around 18:00 and we waited around 7 minutes to be served. The staff were pleasant and took our order. When the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised as it was very tasty. I will most definitely go back when travelling to France. Some of my reviews may seem unforgiving but I come from a time when everything was not “Awesome” and “near enough was not good enough”. So, if I say something is “Excellent” that is because it is somewhere better than most others… and well worth considering visiting. I hope this review was of help, please consider following my travels & reviews in the autumn of my life.

Food was great, ordered 2 doner kebabs which we really enjoyed. I asked for a cone of non battered chips which was ok. Unfortunately it came with battered chips on a sausage and chips, instead of plain. Was still tasty but my young daughter isn't keen on battered chips as they're too rich for her.

We had absolutely beautiful fish and chips here which we took to the beach. The chips were perfect, not too greasy at all. I had scampi and my husband had cod and both were delicious!

First time and I will definitely go back

Cracking shish kebab two nights in a row. Generous portion of meat. Good salad. Bread a bit thin. Friendly and efficient staff.

Usually good and my go to chippie, but seem to have been going downhill. Today each bit of fish was paper thin....like they'd asked the delivery driver to run over it before delivering, and the chips were rock hard, dry and not fresh. Disappointing as they were very good and didn't represent value for money.

Although independent and now holding Trip Adviser Authority and Superstar status I would review as follows. I attended here recently to purchase a lunchtime takeaway from the drive through, it was busy with quite a long queue, my order was taken and I was asked to park up, no problems with that, my order was handed to me through the window, I had ordered a 7 up and immediately noticed that there was no straw which was a pain as I wanted to drink on the way home, I had a look in the bag and the meals were literally stuffed in the bag, chips were upside down, the dips I had ordered were missing (they forget these about half the time despite being shown on the screen and receipt) normally I just accept the omissions here as I know the staff are young and relatively low paid but generally I have always thought that McDonald's train their staff very well. This time I decided to get back in the queue again and ask for the meal to be re-done mainly because the chips had been dumped in the bag upside down and I did,nt want a cold meal. Just to make the point, McDonald's have seriously increased their prices over the last couple of years, I had just paid over £17 for two fast food lunches and what I was presented with was just not acceptable. On handing back the meal and asking for a replacement the Manager came to the window and apologised very professionally, the meal was replaced and I was given a number for a gratis meal next time to make up for the hassle of having to queue up twice. Generally the McDonald's Stanway restaurant is good. Thank you to the manageress for correcting things for me.

Este es nuestro lugar favorito para llevar pescado con patatas fritas, lo recomendaría 100%! El bacalao con patatas fritas más delicioso, nunca tuvo una mala comida! La salsa de curry irlandesa es súper sabrosa, y mi marido tiene los kebabs mixtos que realmente disfruta!

Ordered via the app for table service, it was very quiet in there. Maybe 3 other tables with people eating. Food came out really quickly and order was correct, the chips were lovely and no ice in my drink as ordered however the burger (the main part of the meal) was vile, it was drenched with fat, I soaked up some on the serviette but it was really bad, I even googled to see if they were deep frying their burgers that's how bad it was. It was slop!! Will never bother going there again after that experience, ate chips 🍟 but chucked the greasy burger 🍔

Visited today with a friend for coffee. Staff not really helpful. I asked if they sold teacakes and was told to look at the menu, in an off handed way. Coffee was nice as was the teacake too. Offered jam and butter which was good. Biscuit provided with the coffee also Msic was too loud hard to chat with each other. Mentioned it to staff but no difference. A pleasant attitude would have been better.

Very tasty chicken, good value, and friendly staff. Frequently visit here on our lunch breaks, and you can also get a discount if you work locally.

Muy fresco, muy agradable casual. El personal era muy amable, aparte de la que me sirvió y sacó un chip de mi plato y se lo comió justo en frente de mí.

Used to be the brst kebab in gloucester, with now yummies selling and keeping this place, wouldnt eat here if you paod for it
