Este es nuestro lugar favorito para llevar pescado con patatas fritas, lo recomendaría 100%! El bacalao con patatas fritas más delicioso, nunca tuvo una mala comida! La salsa de curry irlandesa es súper sabrosa, y mi marido tiene los kebabs mixtos que realmente disfruta!

Esto en uno de los peores servicios de atención al cliente que he tenido con una empresa, Clopton catch solía ser una tienda de patatas fritas tan encantadora, pedimos carne de kebab y patatas fritas x 2 a través de Deliveroo y cuando llega el cordero estaba seco y duro y no se podía comer nos dejamos toda la comida y era muy caro, me rand la tienda de patatas fritas para quejarse y básicamente dijo que no podía hacer nada para ayudarme y que no nos ofrecería un reembolso. A pesar de que los clientes habituales del barco de patatas fritas el pesebre me hablaba como tierra.

Caminé hasta aquí desde mi habitación en el Premier Inn cercano. Wow! Tan pronto como entras puedes ver que saben lo que están haciendo. Era una noche fría y amablemente “envolvieron dos veces mi Haddock y Chips para mantenerlo caliente. (£ 13 . 95 Eglefino y patatas fritas) Muy buena relación calidad-precio en estos días. Perfectamente cocinado. Un bateador perfecto. Muy sabroso. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

El mejor chippy para llevar. Había oído un montón de grandes cosas sobre este establecimiento. Seguramente no puede ser tan bueno como el bombo. Lo siento, pero mejor. OMG, esos chips son increíbles. Ligeramente rebozado es justo lo que son y el sabor es increíble. El pescado estaba húmedo/suculento y recubierto con la misma masa ligera. Vale cada centavo. Ahora solo hay un lugar al que ir para las patatas fritas, lo que es un verdadero dolor, ya que están a 8 millas de distancia. ¿No crees que entregas a Ettington? 😬😊

Clopton Catch se encuentra cerca de donde vivo y recientemente comenzó a usarlos. Antes usamos otro chippy sin embargo tuvimos problemas así que decidimos usar aquí. ¡Estoy tan contenta de haber cambiado! Los hemos usado 3 veces y las 3 veces ha sido genial. En las horas pico puede estar esperando tal vez 10-15 minutos, pero la comida está caliente y fresca. En cuanto al precio, no es barato, pero creo que es lo mismo que otros chipspys. Hacen entregas creo pero nunca usaron eso. Definitivamente volveré a usar

Orden recibida fría. El pastel vegetariano estaba por debajo de la media y las patatas fritas estaban frías. No volveré a ordenar... completamente decepcionado.

La unidad exploradora Bourne Explorers recorrió las tiendas de chips Stratford Upon Avon como una actividad de caminata. Nuestros Exploradores calificaron las fichas en Clopton Catch como las mejores en una escala de 0 a 10, calificando las fichas con 10 sobre 10 por Sabor, Crujiente, Color, Textura, Olor y Condimento (¡todo muy estructurado! ). Le dimos el puesto número 1 de 12 tiendas que visitamos. Desafortunadamente no podemos hacer fotos, pero teníamos algunos exploradores muy contentos.

Recientemente se trasladó a la zona y verificó las opiniones. Esta comida fue sin duda el mejor fish & chips teniendo en cuenta , nos han mimado con las tiendas de patatas fritas Warwick. Hemos oído caro, pero para ser honestos, bien valorado por la calidad de la comida. Oh, las patatas fritas son para morirse y el descarado curry irlandés, una bonificación. No pude comerlo todo, pero si lees mi crítica, no cambies lo que entregaste esta noche. Gran comida 😋

We were visiting Stratford for one night and drove down here from the hotel, based on the promising reviews we saw online. The shop itself is extremely clean and well presented and sleek, very unlike a traditional fish and chip shop. The young man at front of house was very professional and helpful and compliments to him. We ordered a burger and jumbo fish and chips, I was pleased with the value for money and they also do nhs discounts which is fabulous. Also didn’t overcharge for condiments unlike other places. The wait wasn’t long, and food was packaged well into nice boxes. All looked great. Unfortunately the jumbo fish was not the size we were expecting, it was quite small and not enough for two kids to share. It was probably an adequate adult portion. It tasted great although not your traditional cod batter and the chips were also not traditional- there was no soggy aspect they were delicious light and crispy. Mushy peas were yummy. My burger on the other hand was not great- very well presented but the meat had very little taste, and it was all quite bland am afraid. So overall a mixed review- I would go back for the chips if I lived close by though! But portion size is a bit of an issue for me..sorry!

Its been about 6 mths since i visited last, when i thought the food was great. Im afraid it has really changed, portion sizes small and the fish had a nasty taste to it. So very disappointed , last time it was good. The chips this time were over cooked as well.

Called in at 8.40pm to order food having been recommended we try it out. Very helpful man served me, and here’s where the whole experience went downhill. It’s fantastic that the food is cooked to order, however in the 30 minutes it took for my order to be prepared, I along with other customers witnessed a staff member being bullied and threatened with being fired by the senior (I think) member of staff. I was very uncomfortable about this whole situation and mentioned it, but the man who’s behaviour I also found threatening was not only smug and disrespectful towards me as a customer. Food was lovely but it’s the first and last time I will support this local business due to this one member of staff. What a shame, but first impressions count

We visited Clopton Catch for a Friday night takeaway. When we arrived there were a lot of people waiting for their orders. We ordered 3 x kebabs, 2 x chips and a curry sauce. The young lad behind the till was pleasant. We ordered at 19:15 and proceeded to wait outside. During our wait, we witnessed the lady in charge of distributing the orders shout at both the staff and the customers, especially the young lad behind the till. We felt really sorry for him. It doesn’t look good on the establishment when customers have to witness this. We were called for our order at 19:50 - 35 minutes after ordering which we thought was quite poor considering that the meat for the kebabs was already cooked and only had to be cut from the spit and assembled, the only part of the order which was cooked fresh was the chips. I understand that they probably work in chronological order from when the orders are placed but this can lead to long waiting times. Luckily, we checked our order when we received it and we were missing a box of chips. This was quickly rectified. The food was very nice overall, however the portions are small for the price (our order was £41.40). I also found it unusual that the kebabs were wrapped in paper and not served in a box. Whilst the food was good, the wait time, value for money and attitude of some members of staff has put us off coming back which is shame as we are local.

I work all over the country, stay in hotels on the coast of every part of the UK, when it comes to fish and chips and a battered sausage Clopton Catch is by far the best in the country. I don’t usually eat chips but their chips are the best. I urge any tourist going to Stratford upon Avon to get food from here. It’s very close to the centre and it’s absolutely superb. The fish is cooked to perfection

My partner found this little gem. We had just visited the Butterfly farm and were going to find a chippy in Stratford Centre… Then he chirps up that we’re going for a little walk, I’m glad we did! We waited for our fresh, hot food which took about 10 minutes and it was worth the walk and the wait. The chips were soooo crispy, my partners fish was a generous size and my portion of doner meat was plentiful. The young man that served us was pleasant and he said to come back for more sauce if he hadn’t put enough (never been offered that before) The queue out of the door speaks for itself 🤷‍♀️

Soggy batter, soggy chips, watery mushy peas and none of it hot. High prices for poor offerings. Won't be going there again.

This is the best chippy out there I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed it’s delicious and it’s excellent staff I love it

We were camping in a nearby village and tried The Clopton Catch on a Sunday night (note it is only open on Sunday if it's a Bank Holiday Weekend). Our meal for 13 was perfect, and everyone said they were the best chips ever. Yes, we had to wait outside. Yes, we had to wait for our order. But I don't care, that just meant we got the freshest food and it was excellent.

Best fish and chips take away i have ever tasted, Was at a fund raising for the Shakespeare hospice and they catered for 50 no problem.. Individually served in special card lard boxes and piping hot. The chips were delicious.

Simply the most delicious takeaway fish and chips we have had. The batter on the chips is different, very yummy. Yes the fish is small but so tasty. And the Pieminster Pies too. Can get busy so there may be a wait. I am surprised the ratings for this takeaway is not higher but I guess it is down to portion size and pricing. No complaints here. Jumbo fish size was a joke, complete rip off. If that's there definition of jumbo, hate to see their version of small....very disappointed as this shop used to be decent.

We visited Clopton Catch during a weekend break from Surrey. It had some good reviews but exceeded our expectations. The fish and chips were both great quality, well-priced and had great portion sizes! Two large chips were more than enough for 6 adults, and not too greasy which was refreshing. They operate a very efficient buzzer system for all orders, preventing crowding inside by asking all customers to wait at the tables outside or in their cars. It is a very speedy, well-organised takeaway service. We visited at around 6pm on a Saturday night. They had sold out of all fish besides Cod and Seabass which was slightly disappointing but the Cod ordered by everyone in my party was delicious! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a takeaway in the area.
