McDonald's in Stratford-on-Avon

Had double cheese burger and chips with a milk shake, usual McDonald fair, luke warm burgers, which never look like the photo's and luke warm chips and an OK milkshake hence 2 stars. All expensive for what it is .I don't know what people see in McDonald's food, always feel I have let myself down visiting McDonald's and this visit has not changed my view.

Sevice of a member of staff completely rude and disrespectful, not only that but the lack of character serving a customer that was polite to him incredibly disgraceful. Definitely a no go ever again to their establishments at Stratford upon avon.

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 way to much salt. It has ruined my meal. It is my first time ordering for McDelivery and i will not be ordering again 😡. Also my drink was half full.

Love Maccies but the SoA one has by far the worst chips - always soggy and undercooked. Shame because that's my nearest one..

The track and trace app wouldn't work on our phones, so they refused to serve us. Got a nice full English breakfast at a cafe down the road.

Cuando llamé para quejarme, no se responsabilizarían por la incompetencia del personal hasta el punto de pura negligencia, me dijeron que hiciera un nuevo pedido a través de Uber y solicitara un reembolso del original, cuando les expliqué que no habían hecho nada malo que era la incompetencia del restaurante lo que Fue el problema que me dijeron que podía asistir, pero eso habría llevado a una confrontación muy agravada, dijeron que si tuvieran que organizarse, devolverme la orden podría demorar entre 1 y 2 horas solo muestra la incompetencia de lo que se refleja en el pozo ahora es un nombre mundial y como solo existe una franquicia a través de Robert Holdcroft Ltd. no respetan el nombre de la empresa y no se les debe permitir faltarle el respeto a esta institución.Mi recomendación es mantente claro

Heinz Tomato Ketchup may has been a staple at mealtimes since 1886. It is a great sauce. Please dont give me eight of them after I order a chicken nugget happy meal and a 20 nug assault box for me and the wife to munch through. I asked for BBQ and Chinese sauces to compliment the red and was charged for the privilege (two sauces added with out my knowldge I should have checked receipt, I know) Who knew that day that BBQ and Chinese sauces were as rare as Szechuan Dipping Sauce. Well our server was not. Eating 20 nugs on a rug is suppose to be a happy moment not a tomato slog like attending La Tomatina. Variety if the spice of life and you sir failed to deliver on 17th January at Stratford upon avon drive through around 2:15pm.

Pedimos un doble tocino y huevo Mcmuffin y croquetas de patata. Mi orden estaba sujeta a algunas reuniones y discusiones entre algunos miembros del personal. No pensé en nada hasta que me lo llevé a casa y encontré una salchicha doble y un huevo Mcmuffin envuelto en una envoltura doble de tocino / huevo.Esta es la QUINTA vez que se equivocaron en mi pedido. De tal vez fuera de 20 visitas. Esas no son buenas probabilidades. Haz algo Mcdonalds SUA. Emplear personal competente!

Customer service was amazing greeted by Bill. Very cheerful and happy. Made us smile. We went into stratford for a walk around and always go to MacDonald there. But today was really lovely with Bill walking around and greeting people.

Utilicé el camino para tomar el té para llevar a casa, pedí una comida de 5 selecciones de pollo, un pollo de lujo y una comida feliz. Llegué a casa, no hay comida feliz y solo 3 selecciones de pollo. Esta es la segunda vez que utilizamos el recorrido por aquí y no se nos ha dado toda nuestra comida, basura total

Tuvimos una comida terrible la última vez que llegamos, la comida estaba fría, el personal hablaba y tardó 15 minutos. Esta vez el gerente es un hombre nuevo en sus 40 s. La comida estaba caliente. Obtuvo el personal para hacerlo excelente ya que nuestra última experiencia fue terrible. Así como recibimos un reembolso. Gracias al nuevo gerente, es genial. Está haciendo que el lugar funcione mucho mejor que el antiguo gerente.

The service and cleanliness in the Weston Road Mc D's are excellent. The staff are very friendly and Mc D's fare for the cost is excellent value for money.

It was so busy in there when I went, but the staff handled the people extremely well. One man got very rude with the shift manager, who I didn’t see the name of, all because his ice cream had melted when he got it, demanding a new one and telling the manager not to get an attitude with him. The poor staff were rushed off their feet, but never once did anyone have an attitude.I really hope someone sees this review, as I just wanted to say that I think the staff are brilliant and to keep up the amazing work!

Took grandsons to lunch today. Sadly, there was an ingnorant oaf sat nearby, making much use of the F word, loudly.This made us very uncomfortable. Anyway, a very nice lady McDonalds worker came out to clear up. She saw and heard this man`s foul language and , to her credit, remonstrated with him iimmediately,in very strong terms. Before the manager could be summoned, the loudmouthed ignoramus decided that discretion was the better part of valour and left. Thanks to this plucky lady the matter was resolved.The kids enjoyed their food, and expressed their admiration for the lady, Cheryl, I believe. All credit to her for seeing this unsavoyury character off.

Staying at the premier inn we went over to this Mcdonalds for breakfast. Food excellent and happy staff. The lady upstairs who cleans is an asset to your team she keeps the place spotless give her a gold medal.

Called for a drink and although busy still fast service Lots of games for children to play on Good friendly staff

After waiting what seemed a lifetime our food arrived. We had the The Alabama Chicken burger it arrived luke warm

Another visit after a really long weekend working. Went through drive in on way home. Placed order and paid and drove 4 miles home. Once in the house we discovered our fries were cold, burgers lukewarm and apple pie completely missing. Complained about the store for same reason previously. Some retraining if staff clearly needed here!! Very disappointed

Not bad. Gets very busy and like most Town McDonald's gets full of teenagers who have one drink between 6 on a table. Has a drive through which also gets busy. The car park is not very big here

We arrived around 10:35pm on a Sunday, we drove through the drive thru and got to the communication intercom, we were greeted by a lovely, happy voice. They took our order, of two drinks, swiftly and they were so angelic and polite! We moved on to pay and were greeted by a gorgeous smiling face, we paid and moved on to get our order by another happy cheerful gorgeous person. Absolutely amazing service! Was not expecting to be treated so well on a late Sunday night. Would defo recommend.

The breakfast menu costs more than other McDonald's, the service was slow and sloppy, there were so many people just standing around having conversations. I would missed my train had I not run for dear life for it. The food took 10+ minutes and there was no one else there? I was expecting the usual McDonald's of 3-7 minutes.

Not very well organised and short of staff. Waited for food meanwhile hot drinks were cooling. Floors dirty and full bins that could hold much more rubbish

Close to the premier inn we stayed at. Called for breakfast one morning. Typical of the chain - nice and clean and fast service. The food was fine, served hot enough.

came here as needing food, we came, we saw, we ordered, we ate, we left, just a normal McDonalds but a good one

This is the 2nd time this week myself and my partner have gone to McDonald's to get something to eat after finishing work late I wish I hadn't bothered the first but thought I would give it another go but again even worst from the first time food stone cold not good for a chicken select meal and if you want to warm your own burger up you might aswell buy a rustle burger at least that would be hotter than the food you get from this disgusting place and if you want a hot Apple pie don't bother asking for one because there is never any cooked and you always have to wait 10 mins to get one and don't bother having a cup of coffee or hot chocolate as you only get half a cup. Disgusting price for disgusting food.will not be returning again

My orders have been consistently wrong. It appears none of the "managers" can manage most appear to have just left school. Kitchen staff observed skylarking around even throwing food at each other. Some of the younger cleaning staff carrying out kitchen duties leaving their collegues frustrated and over worked one young cleaner was witnessed cleaning a bin area for around 15 minutes before swinging a cleaning cloth around her head. Bins overflowing around the car park and external areas. Seems one broom cleans all areas I witnessed the same broom sweep the restaurant, play area, externals and the toilets no wonder other people's comments state they were suffering from upset stomachs! Any complaints at this establishment seem to be laughed off, no one takes responsibility. I really think Mr. Holdcroft should place more "secret shoppers" in his restaurant and Maybe he too will get a true picture of what goes on and take action accordingly.

This has to be the worst McDonald’s that I have visited. The whole place was filthy toilets disgusting floor dirty and overflowing bins outside a disgrace

Poped in Bank holiday monday about 7pm, took forever to get served, we were the only people in the queue, staff more interested in chatting and the 'manager' lady looked like she needed a good training course in hygeine for herself as well as her team. The counters were sticky and grimy, a rack of used trays were piled up on the side and the entire place looked filthy. This place seems to have a lot of Drive Thru trade and I can see why, I would not want to go inside and see how it is working, Mcdonalds usually has a great brand and prides itself on cleanliness and good quality, this one doe not. Avoid

We called in here for breakfast muffins as it was next to our hotel. It's a self order place and the food was delivered to our table. The coffees were good but the muffin could have been hotter!

Just what you'd expect from McDonald's. Clean and tidy. Self service or with real people. Happy meals with Hungry Hippos and plenty of activities for kids.

isited stratford on a Monday to celebrate my son's 3rd Birthday. Wanted to take him to the MAD muesuem and Butterfly farm. Needed to have a quick lunch between the visits and hence picked up McDonanlds.

Can't believe there drinks is not filling the cup more than that.and yet they are more expensive than London ?! Not happy. 😡

This is a light, airy McDonalds with a good view of the local canal. It was reasonably clean and great to be able to order upstairs and have it delivered. The kids enjoyed the play area.

Went to the mad museum with two kids and visited McDonald's afterwards, just couldn't believe the place,

The McDonald's itself is clean and tidy and modern but the array of youth behind the counter could do with some training. I understand it's a busy place but on both occasions we had breakfast something was wrong. It's not hard to put 2 sausage pattys and cheese between the two muffins but obviously they struggled. The second time to big chunk of egg shell in the egg was a little disappointing

Great experience. Busy but loads of seats. The new ordering system makes everything so much easier. Toilets were clean too.

As I am a regular visitor to the store for breakfast, I was very much surprised to be served by a friendly face. I thought that the management had read and took on board what I said in my review in May.

Dreadful service. Counter assistant who did little to hide his disdain at working in such a soulless place by treating each customer with utter contempt, no manners. A simple thank you goes a long way, instead your recent is slung at you across the counter. And the stupid new Argos style serving system meant a 10 minutes wait to be served a couple of soft drinks. 3 times as many staff standing round posturing as cooking & serving.

As a regular customer of this drive thru restaurant it can be nice to see a friendly face in the mornings when getting my breakfast, but just lately the smile as gone out of the restaurant and the sprit as well.

We stopped off here for a drink before heading off to the town to see the local tourist attractions. The place was very clean, the service was quick and the staff were pleasant.

With two children, we occasionally come here as they enjoy the small soft play. At our last visit we could not park, waited for ages, went away and came back, same cars still there and eventually had a drive through. When I mentioned (not complained!) this to the very nice lady who took my order, she had the assistant manager bring out our food to explain lots of people were parking there who were not customers. He was very apologetic and said they were thinking of getting parking reinforcements in. I hope they do as they are losing business from customers who cannot park. We always go to this one rather than the one in town due to its cleanliness and friendly staff.

We are not McDonalds regulars my any means, my only real experience was when the kids were small and we had Happy Meals! However, we had travelled some distance to Stratford and arrived starving so had a cheeseburger and a chicken piri piri wrap, both were excellent and once the order was placed and paid for the staff brought the meal to your table. Very clean and tidy and food very tasty. I am impressed with McDonalds and I didn't think I would ever say that!! LOL

Sure, it's all the usual standard Maccy Dee's BUT over 2 floors with great open views of the canal. Great team, smiling and welcoming. And so clean. Robert Holcroft deserves a special mention. Both his units are excellent.

Called in for a late lunch having travelled by train to Stratford. The McDonalds is located close to the hotel we were staying at. Food was standard fare. Service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was clear and had plenty of seating with the facility to order food at machines online.

Very clean modern building.Had a bit of view of river and the staff were friendly-hash browns were nicer than at the hotel,Bacon and egg muffin was excellent as i asked for a soft egg and got , Coffee could be better but was hot

Just what you'd expect. Seating, drive-thru, outside spac. Has a canal nearby with a footpath, so you can walk off the fries ;-)

Great value for a quick meal whilst on the move shopping!!! Very polite and efficient upon ordering, food was very hot and tasty we had sausage and egg breakfast meal and must say the coffee is lovely

Went to the drive through and ordered fish happy meal and sprite. When I got home we had chicken nuggets and water. This outlet gets it. Wrong so many times. How hard can it be? If you go then you are well advised to check all you order before you drive off.

Just as you would expect from a McDonald's however the only thing I'd say is there isn't enough parking which I've had problems with a few times.

McDonald's drive through I've been through in the UK that didn't say "Is that it?" after every item requested in an order. Otherwise, accurate and relatively quick service through the dual lane drive thru.

This is a large free-standing building just outside Stratford. It has its own car park, a two lane drive-thru, seating outside next to the canal and is on two floors. It has the newer self-order system which is handy if you need time to examine the menu without pressure to order.
