Bison burger came burnt and dry with the bun smashed. Wings were ok but the BBQ sauce was abysmal. It should be a crime to cover wings in that sugar microplastic sauce. Sweet potato fries were ok and service was good.

To pricey paid 18 dollars for just 2 shrimp and mac n cheese that was cold.

We stopped by for breakfast before heading to Red Rocks and absolutely loved it! I had the steak and eggs — cooked just right and super flavorful. My husband had the Cowboy Breakfast, and it was hearty and delicious. Emma was a very attentive server!! The portions were generous, and the service was warm and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Morrison area!

Good food and ice cream. Staff is friendly, and space is inviting. They do have a parking lot, but it can often be full and you'll need to park on the street or in one of the city lots.

I went with my friend today for lunch looking forward to have the fish and chips that is/was famous. What a disappointment we ordered the fish and chips but instead of the chips we exchanged for salad wish it was absolutely delicious but the fish was 2 pieces of frozen fish from a box. We were looking forward for the homemade breaded cut of fish that was as big as your plate. No not anymore, not going back.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants after a visit to Red Rocks! The food is great and the staff is friendly. It's a fun place!

Fun, eclectic place with good food.

It was a hard choice between the beef burger, or the bison burger, but I went with the beef burger. Very tasty and a yummy bun. And I love that I could select a sweet potato fry option.

I loved this spot. I got a massive breakfast burrito. The flavors were wonderful. I also had an Irish coffee and started my day off loose. If I'm ever back in the area I will visit again for sure.

I wanted a great place to enjoy our final breakfast on vacation. This was it. The staff are friendly, entire area very clean and well decorated, food greatly exceeded any expectation I had. It was so good, I got a second breakfast to go!

We stopped by The Cow for lunch with the family yesterday. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The space is small but has a cozy, homey feel—definitely has charm. Service was great throughout the meal. We started with the fried PB&J and sweet potato waffle fries. The flavor on both was good, but the PB&J was a bit dry—not quite enough peanut butter or jelly. Fries were a little soggy but still tasty. I had the berry yummy salad with a side of vegetarian green chile. The chile had a real kick to it, but the flavor was on point. Salad was fresh and hit the spot. My husband ordered the regular chile, but it was too spicy for him to finish, so just a heads-up if you’re sensitive to heat! Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back. Great service and a welcoming vibe—just a few small misses on the food that kept it from being five stars.

Had an excellent lunch here. The fish and chips and fish tacos were excellent. The portions were a very good size. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the Red Rock area!

I had an incredible dining experience at The Cow in Morrison, CO! The service was absolutely top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff genuinely go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The highlight of my meal was the French Dip—it was exceptional! The bread was perfectly toasted, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the au jus was rich and packed with depth. Honestly, it's the best French Dip I've ever had. Pair that with the great atmosphere, and you’ve got a winner. If you're in Morrison, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back to enjoy more of their fantastic menu and outstanding hospitality!

I was there last week, coffee was Ok, a little weak for my taste, ordered pan cakes which were good, but my waiter just disappeared, no sign of him any where, finally got up went to the counter to pay and someone else made out a check for me to pay.I quess he went home.

The Cow is The Best! Loved their food. Service was fantastic. The eggs benedicts were delicious and when they brought the bowl of fruit that we ordered instead of home fries, I thought that alone was worth the price of the meal! It was huge! And the fruit was fresh and superb quality. This is one of those golden nuggets you find on a weekend exploration trips and it makes your whole trip a positive experience.

Atmosphere was great food was underwhelming at best. We had the mac & cheese grilled cheese. Cheese was not melted very little mac & cheese. The geo It’s Gyro burger sauce was good The burger had very little flavor.

Breakfast was cold. Avocado toast, the toast was mushy and the eggs were cold. Wait staff so busy couldn’t get their attention to request warm eggs. The cinnamon roll was nothing special.

Stopped in on a Saturday around noon time. I ordered the fish and chips. Fish was bland, no seasoning whatsoever. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which was also very bland. My teenage sons order the Mac and cheese which they enjoyed but the portion size was a bit small. Overall, the food was very bland and the customer service was subpar.

At the cow, the cinnamon rolls and the back patio are literally why my daughter wants to go here every chance we get to go out to breakfast. The patio is really nice to be right on the trail and next to the creek, and get to people watch. The food has always been comfort and delicious, although I've never had anything other than breakfast, but assuming it's good as well! Can't wait till the evergreen location gets open!

If you are LGBT you are not welcome. They forgot sprinkles on our ice cream that we ordered. The girl at the window said she needed to "ask her manager" if we could have sprinkles. Then she scolded me for not ordering sprinkles. If you are trans, LGBT or human don't go here.

Never again, rude waitress!!!! If it wasn’t for the kids being hungry I’d have got them fast food! Beware tourist trap not even worth the stop.

I and a friend have on occasion for the last 7 years been visiting this eatery. Through a few name changes as well. Always delicious food, delightful atmosphere and excellencet service. Keep up the good work see you next time.

Food was excellent. The service left something to be desired. We asked to be seated on the patio, they said there wasn't any seating, though there clearly was. No big deal. The waiter was cold and unnatentive. Any time he had to come over it seemed like a chore for him. Very minimal effort. He made us feel unwelcome.

I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap at The Cow. The first time my wrap came out it was covered in a ridiculous amount of buffalo sauce so, I sent it back. The second time my wrap came out there was barely any buffalo sauce. My wrap was better than before, but I didn't get any avocado. The buffalo chicken wrap is supposed come with avocado. I didn't send back the wrap a second time because I was hungry. The waitress did a good job, but over all I was very disappointed with my dining experience at The Cow.

This is a quaint little restaurant in the hear of Morrison. I visited for breakfast and had the Emerald Omelet. It was delicious. The service was fast and attentive. I visited in February, but it appears there is some outdoor seating available for the warmer months. Would recommend.

We were sat at a table effectively in the hallway right at the kitchen door. A lot of traffic. My dish was not impressive lacking any type of attempt at flavor.

Food was amazing, their green chili is to die for!!! Nicole was our server and she was an absolute sweetheart! She recommended their homemade hot sauces, their habanero sauce was probably my favorite although they all have an amazing flavor! Chai tea was probably some of the best I ever had. Would I recommend this place? 10000%. I’m definitely coming back when im in town!

We had a wonderful breakfast here. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I would recommend trying if you're in town. Get the smothered breakfast burrito with green chili!

They have a gluten "friendly" menu (that phrasing always gets me, like friendly to the gluten or to me?) It states that they have a shared fryer, grill, and toaster. I ordered the Cubana sandwich with gluten free bread and asked them to use a tin foil liner in the toaster. It's 4 hours later and no ill effects. I'm glad 'cause that sammie was delicious after a hike with friends.

This place was such a great discovery in our trip around Colorado!! We just wanted something easy to have for breakfast and we are so glad we ended up here! The staff was so friendly and nice and welcoming. Food was DELICIOUS. I forgot to take a pic of my omelette because I just ate it so fast. I got the Bear Creek Omelette, that comes with goat cheese. Many places just put some scrambly little amount of goat cheese in their food but this one came with a generous amount of it, so I did not run out of cheesy bites throughout!! The hot cocoa was great, too! And the waiter gave me unicorn pink sprinklers on top which of course, made my day 🤣 I wish I lived nearby to come here again soon!

This place gets five stars just because of how good the food was. They could have charged me for two burgers and I would not have been mad. I had the gyro burger, and I loved it. The flavored drinks are properly (not lightly) flavored. I would come here again. It is unlikely that you will be dissatisfied with the food. The atmosphere and service were average

Service was fine but the food not so much. Last time I ate there felt same way. Was hoping it was a one time thing. But was disappointed once again. The food use to be great under the original owners. This time I had French toast. Thinking you can’t mess up French toast but I was wrong. The bread was extremely thick which is fine if soaked. When I cut into it was just plan bread. The out side was lightly coated with egg mix. Was basically eating piece of bread with syrup on it. Husband had breakfast burrito and he wasn’t impressed either. New owners shouldn’t have messed with the kitchen or menu. Was great before. Next time eat breakfast will be going back to Morrison Inn where we have had much better food.

As always, our goto place for a consistently good meal, especially when we don't want to cook or just want a coY place to eat with our friends and their signature veggies and salad are the best.

At least for the meals I get, the food is always excellent. And the service matches the food at least.

Food is always good here. I have tried a lot of things, hamburgers, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream. I love their salad and onion rings.

It may look small from the outside; the inside is busting with personality. Had amazing people that I was able to share a meal and discussed life at the same time. (I went alone). I had one of their specials and it was so good. I will be returning for sure.

I've usually had a great experience here up until my most recent visit. The server that was taking care of me vanished and was replaced by a younger guy. I wasn't finished with my meal when he slapped the bill on my table without asking if I needed anything else. I saw the sign for hot chocolate, and since it was a cold day, I was going to order one with some Bailey's. Money lost on their part. I also looked back while leaving and saw him pocket the cash that was meant for my server. As an onlooker, it appears this guy stole my server's tip (which was doubled for the holiday), and I felt kicked out. I had received great hospitality until this kid came waltzing to my table. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back. I have lost all of my trust in this cute little diner. I hope to God that my actual server received the tip, or if they're pooled, it was added to the pot and this kid didn't get a penny since all he did was give me a bill. It's pretty sketchy when some random guy comes to your table and puts the cash not meant for him in his front pocket. You won't miss this regular. Plenty of oblivious tourists to screw over.

Stopped of there last August while visiting red rock for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and a lot of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. This place is well worth a visit.

We greatly enjoyed the kindness of the servers while waiting for our to go order. When we ate the food, we were all extremely happy with what we ordered. GF Gyro burger, patty melt, buffalo sandwich. The sides were the best! French fries were different and awesome! Sweet potato fries and great onion rings! Will certainly go back and dine in next time.

Beautiful location with patio seating. The manager, Matt, greeted us at the door and quickly seated us. He was so kind and welcoming. Our waitress, Jennifer, was also very kind and helpful at recommending what to get. The food here is fresh, delicious, and unique in flavor. An excellent spot for our first morning of our honeymoon. Stumbled across The Cow An Eatery by accident - a very happy accident! There were 10 of us in our party and came in to the restaurant for breakfast. We were famished from our early hillside trek. Sam our server was truly professional and friendly. She had us set up at our table and our coffee/ hot drinks before us in no time. The food arrived really quickly and it was delicious. I had the SMS omelette (spinach, mushroom and Swiss Cheese) - it was just yummy. Sam gave each of us our own individual bills - she made everything so easy - delightful lady. Definitely recommend this place.

Happened to be in Golden and decided to stop in. Sat on the patio because the weather was great. Annie with the server team took care of us. She was very friendly and made great recommendations. I had the gyro burger, buffalo wing and the apple pie with ice cream for dessert. All the food was fantastic and I’ll definitely make my way to The Cow again.

Food is just okay, the vibes are …. Strange. If a restaurant was a sundown town, I have a feeling it would be something like this. Took my parents here during their visit to Colorado before we hiked Red Rocks. The servers are efficient enough but nowhere near friendly. The most offputting thing is the threatening signs in the bathroom — someone at The Cow seems to be super concerned that we’re going to take their arts and crafts hanging in the bathroom? Give me a break lol

The Cow an Eatery is a gem! The beautiful location and cozy vibe set the perfect tone for a great breakfast. We tried the Goat Cheese Greek Omelette, which was delicious. The staff was amazing and service was quick, making for a smooth, enjoyable experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing spot with tasty food! The beautiful surroundings just enhances everything at this place.

My group were all gathered together from different parts of the country for an event at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We were camping in Morrison, and ended up eating here each day. I even got a souvenir from the restaurant due to getting a small cocktail that is in a rocks glass and had a special glass straw I was able to keep. Plus traveling from Wisconsin, the can of New Glarus on display in one of the cabinets was a fun surprise.

On a flying visit to Denver, we went to Red Rocks to see the sun rise. Afterwards we walked down the trail to the town of Morrison and we were very hungry! Stopped into The Cow an Eatery for breakfast. There were 10 of us in our party. This was not a problem to the lovely ladies in finding us a place to sit. Sam our server was excellent - very professional and friendly. The menu was extensive and exciting. Before long she had us set up with coffee ( and some hot chocolates) and then she took our orders. I chose the SMS omelette (spinach mushroom and Swiss cheese). Everyone ordered something different and it was no issue to Sam if a few tweaks were requested to the dish written on the menu. In what seemed like a flash our food arrived. It was just gorgeous and we dived straight in as we had worked up quite an appetite. Sam kept coming over to refill our coffee cups. My breakfast was delicious and it came with potato shreds ( like hash brown) and rye toast. Everyone devoured their food and enjoyed every mouthful. When it came to pay - Sam did something amazing - she gave us separate checks!! It was so easy to settle up either by cash, card or using the QR code on the individual check. This diner/restaurant was a great find and I can heartily recommend it to anyone who is looking for breakfast after watching the sunrise in Red Rocks. Thank you most sincerely to Sam and her colleague. You made a wonderful experience even better.

For the moment, I’m just posting about the cinnamon roll and staff. It was epic. Soft, gooey, and decadent. But my picture is bad, so I need to go back. The staff was friendly and fast. I paid and had my roll as soon as I had my change. Ashley was super quick and answered my questions about everything they served. Expect to see something off the menu and multiple rolls on the edit. ;-)

Great place! I had the bison burger, and then got a peanut butter banana shake to go! Cows all over the place made my soul happy!<3 I love cows, so this is my kind of place! Such a great place, I even bought a shirt. Matt is the Manager, and he is the kindest man! He helped me with getting my shirt!

We traveled from Ohio for a Red Rocks show, but also did some exploring. We stopped here for grub and were blown away by the fresh fruit they offered…like picture PERFECT. My brekkie was also top notch, and our server was sublime! Thank you!!

I was in town for a show at Red Rocks so I stopped in for lunch. My server was very friendly and did her best to be attentive, despite a relatively full outdoor dining area and her coworkers just sitting at the bar talking. The chips and salsa were a mixed bag, the chips were mediocre but the salsa was very good. The fried mushrooms were phenomenal, 10/10 would get every time. The chicken fried steak was very good. The gravy was fantastic and the veggies were just right. The mashed potatoes tasted like they forgot to season them, however the texture and consistency were great. My only real complaints are watching my server struggle to keep up while her coworkers just chatted at the bar frustrated me and there were a lot of flies buzzing around. I do recommend stopping in if you are in the area for a show and want some pretty good "American diner" food. Happy hour has non-premium appetizers nearly half off and some drinks as well. 10/3 2:30pm
