Started ordering from here every now and again after not doing so for a year or two and the food quality is proper good! (It’s still takeaway pizza, but I’d that’s what you’re after it’s perfect!) Open very late too which is handy!

Tasted nice - feel a bit ripped off by the size of the cod £7- ordered on just eat fish and chips for 1 cost £20 so a bit saddened at the portion

Driver left food on doorstep, called shop said its my fault apparently, wont be ordering again, and had to chargeback through my bank now which cost time and money. we were at home all day, did not knock or even ring the bell, and just left the food there and was ended up stolen. phoned up restaurant said its completely my fault which i dont agred with, as the driver could have ring the bell or knock more. which he didnt even bothered with leaving the food on doorsteps is extremely unprofessional

Waited for 15 minutes for a portion of chips. Watched other customers come in after me with larger orders and got served first. Won’t be going back.

18” is a go to in our house. Great value and typically quick delivery. Yes it’s not upmarket restaurant quality but you generally get what you pay for and we keep coming back!

The man who works here most nights is totally lacking in any customer service skills, interest in his job and as a result I will never get takeaway from here again.

I went there on a Monday evening at 9.00pm asked for some fish and was told none available. What’s the point? There were three unappealing sausages ready to go. Waste of time them being open.

We ordered a large fish and a portion of chips. The fish cost £9 on its own - it was so small - barely enough to feed 2. We were disgusted at how tiny your ‘large’ fish is. I dread to think what a small one looks like! For over £12 it wasn’t good value for money at all. Does Look big in the box but it truly wasn’t. I get everyone has to make a living but we have been to.a few fish shops in Canterbury and this is by far the one with the smallest fish portions.

Such good value for money and amazingly tasty pizza. Nice ingredients, super fresh. Chicken dippers are yummy too!

Absolutely love this shop can't describe how they do it but their pizzas are banging better than pizza hut and domino's I can't fault the food very clean shop friendly staff always say use these for pizzas great service but most of all yummy food

They advertise 10, 12 and 15 inch pizza's but when mine came it was 13 inches! Came to leave a review and I see I'm not the only one. If it was a one off I could believe it would be coincidence but now it seems like they are cutting corners and scamming people.

Lying about the size of his pizzas, I think we know where the missing two inches are...

I feel sorry for the owners wife if his habit of lying about his pizzas being 2 inches larger than reality extends to other areas

Hung up on me when I mentioned that a 13 Inch Pizza I received was sold as 15 Inches. Fraud.

These the guys who advertise a 15 inch pizza and give only 13 inches? That’s a 25% decrease in area. Sounds like scammers to me.

They lie about the size of their pizzas and then call you a liar for calling them out in it. A pizza with a diameter of 13 inches is not a 15 inch pizza you grease balls.

Ordered a takeaway form here to be delivered to the hospital where the ward I was in fancied something different from hospital food. Food arrived quickly and was lovely and hot still. We all were very happy with the food it tasted delicious. The person taking our order on the phone was lovely and friendly. Totally recommend.

Just ordered from the Westgate fish bar as a rare treat for me and my son. I ordered a small fish and chips for myself for £9.99 it used to be lovely and I can quite honestly say I’ve seen more fish on a prawn! Absolutely terrible, will not be ordering from here again I can tell you that!

I ordered a 15 inch pizza but got a 13.5 inch pizza instead. When I called to complained, they hung up on me. Pizza tasted good though but it was not filling since it was smaller than expected.

I bet the owner tries to seduce women by telling he is 2 inches bigger than average. Just like his pizza.

**Canterbury to Whitstable Delivery** Placed order £51 just before midnight, they phoned shortly after as payment problem on my behalf. Manager took steps over & above expectations to ensure we still received our food, at the risk of their own expense! Food turned up steaming hot and fresh, well prepared, full of flavour and toppings and at a very competitive price! Restored our faith in Pizza Restaurants as Dominoes etc are failing miserably in all aspects in this area. Definitely recommend

Absolute worst place, incredibly rude staff, had a problem with my order and the dude literally said “well you aren’t getting a refund” when I never received my order.

We went in for a late supper once we arrived at Canterbury we ordered large fish and chips and burger and chips - when we opened the chips we found that they had given my husband 2 fillets as no large available - the chips were perfect just the right salt, vinegar and grease absolutely delicious staff were very friendly and everything cooked fresh - we ordered too much but we did enjoy it

My wife was mad because she didn't get the extra 2 inches in to her mouth

We have ordered Canterbury’s biggest pizza from here many times, we have thoroughly enjoyed it every time! The food is always hot and has never been greasy, it is our go to takeaway especially when we have guests for dinner. It is very well priced and good quality without fail, delivery is always a lot sooner than the estimated time.

The pizza is okay, no complaints there. But the gentleman who works the phone needs lessons in customer service. I ordered a pizza to my house and received a call from the driver five minutes before I arrived, informing me that he was there. I told him that one of my housemates would pick it up for me; no problem, he said. But when I arrive, there was no pizza. So i get on the phone to Westgate pizza, where I explain the situation to the gentleman on the phone. He assures me that the pizza was delivered and tells me that my housemates are pulling a joke on me. I politely tell him this is not the case and he begins accusing me of stealing and trying to scam him for a free pizza. After going back and forth for a while, I hung up out of the frustration of knowing I’ve just lost £15. About 5 mins later, he calls me back, and tells me he’ll send the driver back to the house to check he delivered it to the correct address. Another 10 mins goes by and the driver turns up at my doorstep with my pizza. Despite the accusations of the man on the phone that I hadn’t put the correct information in the app, the driver claims he handed it to someone about 4 houses away (who were having a house party). So it was probably some type of mix-up. I’m not upset about what was probably a simple mistake by the driver. But, if they hadn’t sorted this situation out, I would be giving them 1 star. What customer wants to be accused of stealing? After reading multiple reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence too. I’m sorry if people in Canterbury are trying to scam you, but there are too many other pizza places that I could go to, rather than be subjected to this dogsh*t customer service. Will not be ordering from here again.

Had to call police as the pizza I purchased was 15” and they sent me a 13”. Otherwise amazing, rectified by the company who gave me the finger.

i passed here and had a wonderful pizza the other day i have NO idea what "trigger the madness" is whingeing about but really crying about 2 inches when it shrinks due to cooking what's a male Karen called trigger the madness GET A LIFE !!!!

Terrible pizza place. Really rude staff. We bought the 15 inch pizza and it was way too small so I rang them direct before the delivery app to get it sorted. The person in the photo directly called me a liar over and over and was very argumentative. He refused to even send a new pizza or a refund since it wasn’t what we paid for. He kept saying they take pictures of their pizza and I am wrong. Well, me measured that pizza after this and that pizza was too damn small. It was burnt, just terrible all over. Really, don’t order from these people, they do not care about you.

Deliberately serving smaller pizzas than what you ask for. Incompetence or fraudulent behaviour to save on costs? You decide but whatever you think, don't buu from here; trading standards have been made aware of what's going on.

I asked for the bill. After waiting my 10 minutes I turn around to look for a member I of staff to find she’s too busy on lunch sat behind up now having a gossip with pals. I could see the tables around us looked in disbelief he they’ve been waiting even longer to be served. Wouldn’t go back

Id say they have the cheapist 18" pizza but with the right toppings its amazing 😫. The only thing i dont reconmend is the cheasy chips.. they were nice but its the burger cheese that i wasnt expecting which came too nearly £4? Ill update it when i next go there with photos

Twice now I've ordered from them via Uber Eats when they've claimed to be open, and twice now they've just cancelled it immediately with no reason given. LITERALLY immediately. No attempt made to fulfil my order whatsoever. These people do not deserve your money if they're willing to so blatantly lie to their customers.

We walked in and ordered, they told us it will be ready in 15mins. So we walked around and came back for picking up on time. HOWEVER,ended up with waiting outside in the cold wind for 20 more minutes... SO 35MINS WAITING in total just for a pizza.. AND, they didn't give me the drink in the order... Pizza was okay, but completely bad experience :((

Me and my partner shared the 18" pizza yesterday it was really nice would definitely go back and the price was really good

Ordered for the first time and was genuinely worried because I was ordering late (10:30) and hoped the fish wouldn’t be soggy. I was really pleasantly surprised, everything was amazing: Fish was fresh and freshly cooked, chips were amazing and the batter was nice. I ordered a small portion but it was actually huge and I couldn’t finish it all. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

My mum and dad decided to not cook tonight so they ordered from west gate fish bar my mum had a large battered sausage which the batter was rock hard and the sausage was stone cold, the chips were hard and cold as well my mum wasn’t impressed at all. My dad had fish it tasted awful and was cold as-well alongside the chips were cold to. As a new fish bar opening not long ago my parents would of thought there food would of been better quality and to a high standard it was an absolute disgrace my mum will be ringing the company to complain and won’t be probably ordering from here again unless they improve there quality.

We were here for the day and wanted lunch , we couldn't find anywhere to let the dog in so decided to get takeaway and eat in the park. This place is close by and the food was excellent , all freshly cooked and very tasty with large portions. Thanks for a very nice meal.

This was the best fish and chip delivery we have had for along time. The chips were just right and so was the batter. Portions were very big.Yes it was a little more in price but the quality is more and as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Def order and get from here again
