pure scam full of lies really disappointed

Was in Canterbury Town macdonalds with my granddaughter and needed help finding a seat. They helped me to a seat and brought my order over to us. Brilliant service. Louis and raven was so helpful. Manager downstairs was helpful aswell

Always busy and value for money

Staff are nasty rude manager useless didn't do order properly when confronted abt food laughed and said oh dear the manager just stood with stupid look on Face said nothing

The order numbers got called up before the actual food was even ready, so you'd just stand there at the counter and wait for them to finish your order, even though the screens said it was ready. Tables weren't very clean either.

I did not receive any food at all. I waited for my number, but it did not appear, and nor the app, nor the kiosks give you a receipt (the kiosks don't have paper). The only thing that went through, was the charge in my card.

Fast delivery of food, despite there being so many people

Ordered on app using delivery took an hour to get to me and when it finally did arrive it was stone cold

Only a 4 star on food but not a problem with the food it's the coffee they seem to have changed it and I no longer like the flavour. Also I dislike the cardboard cutlery.

it was horrible. I ordered some food and i didn’t get any receipt. When i came to the service she said that if i don't have the receipt she wont give me the food. They literally scammed me. I lost 18£

i ordered a milkshake and chips and it took 30 minutes!!! 30 minutes can you believe that 30 long minutes for two things its an outrage i cannot believe this its a horrible mcdonalds

The fish filet very small to what i remember just like half a fish finger and the bap was clagy chewy yukky NOT PRESENT. The chicken what there was of it NO TASTE. Not worth a visit.

It's normally very good here but the layout is a bit awkward with the self service screens and where you wait to collect your order is standing right in the way of people coming in. The bathroom is coded to enter but the code is always at the bottom of your receipt. This store is normally very clean but the receipts do run out on the self-serve machines commonly during busy periods. The atmosphere here changes a bit in the evening on 'social nights', most of the time it's okay and staff are well trained.

Went through the drive through was the only car had to wait a minute before anyone spoke ordered food had to park up and wait. 5 minute drive home chips were luke warm and floppy burger was the same bun was really dry .

Service was quick, and the food was quite warm. The only thing that annoyed me slightly was kids just hanging about, not ordering or eating. Made getting to the ordering screens a bit of a bumper car challenge. No big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Terrible service, the food that was delivered was completely collapsed and all other the delivery bag which means that the people that packed it didn't do a proper job. As well as no sauces, who orders chicken selects and nuggets without getting the sauce... Either read the order or get a better supervisor clearly not doing your job as the final checker

Supposed to be fast food but it's not!! And when you get the food it's normally cold where it's been on the side waiting to be given to customers. The chips were cold too and soggy

I found a manky green chip in amongst my child's happy meal chips. And they missed my drink. An overall horrible experience

Lovely service especially by Alice, helped with our orders and made sure they were all correct while being a fun smiley character to talk to

there is a worker called Alice, absolutely AMAZING. literally cannot explain how perfect she is, just what you need after a night or day out. deserves raise upon raise.

It's not somewhere you go for a classy dinner but when it's busy there just isn't enough space for the people waiting to use the screens and the people waiting to collect. Feels uncomfortable and stressful but everything is machines these days which sucks

The food was good. Staff were great. McDonald's app was terrible. Poor wifi and no signal! Ordering via the app was impossible. Ordered food via self-service. No receipt, no wifi, no signal. Contacted customer services, nothing they could do. Might as well delete the app if planning to eat in McDonald's Canterbury

I order food delivery and only 1/4 of the food arrived. It said they are RUNNING OUT OF FOOD! It’s crazy and didn’t make sense for an order at 6pm, not 2am?!

Staff at the counter were fine, but I could hear someone who was obviously in “Management” being extremely disrespectful to staff in the background. Almost shouting at them, being rude and sarcastic to a member of staff! Words like “it’s not difficult is it” and “are you stupid.” Not what you want to hear when popping in for breakfast. I was going to ask to speak to them, but thought they are obviously a bully and would probably make it even worse for the poor staff member!

Located at the city centre, it's just a minute walk from the bus station. Service is good and atmosphere is lovely.

food was obviously good but so disappointed with security staff. Asked my friend to take down his hood as we were leaving (which is fair enough), my friend says “ok but we’re leaving” and the female security says “still take your hoodie down”. My friend obliges but as we’re walking away, I hear the security woman call my friend an “idiot”. Direct quote. You should be ashamed of your security staff.

I had to order two orders because they added cheese to my order even though I’m allergic to cheese, twice they have added cheese even though I called to complain! When asked to go there I couldn’t because I have a broken foot! This is shameful but also allergy awareness

Waited AGES even though it wasn't that busy... They forgot the syrup for the pancakes, and the hot drink lids were all naff and broken. Also what's with the increased price on the breakfast deals??? Pay an extra 20p just to add a hot drink?!

I would do zero as I got no food. Waited 15 mins then went up as my order didn't get called. Guess it went missing so got my money back. I paid by card and they gave me cash back. Waste of time. McDonalds cannot handle all the bike pickups and in person customers.

I used one of the machines to place my order, and the receipt with my order number wasn't working, so I had no idea when my order would be called. I asked a member of staff(Raven) who was cleaning at the time for help . He asked what I had ordered and then went to the kitchen and printed my receipt and order number from there. Brilliant, helpful member of staff 👏 👍 😀. The food was great, and the counter staff remembered to check all that I would need with my order. Hasbro Happy Meal toy is very cute.

Not my cup of tea. Crowded. Busy. Staff are a bit off hand due to how busy it is and how rushed they are. Did not find this a relaxing environment to eat my food. I found it rather stressful. Food bog standard as you would find with all Mcdonalds.

When after about 10 minutes the girl decided to take my order didn't seem really interested When my number was called my order was wrong The lad did put it right but the he wasn't very friendly

Great place to get something to eat on the go, as it's situated right in the centre of town near the bus station. So you can get a bite to eat while you wait for the bus. Speedy service as you just order what you want on the screens that they have in store and pay by card, you get an order no and then wait for your number to be called by the staff at the counter and then collect it from there. I expect they do a table service if you are eating in. It was very quick turnaround time and I didn't have to wait long. It was very reasonable priced for what you get, too as always and it is always good quality food, cooked well and tasty.

No problem really with my food except the burger is always slung together with the cheese half off the burger hanging out the roll! But my biggest moan is really about your delivery service! You deliver in Canterbury and thannington and yet not Chartham which is 5 mins up the road by vehicle 🤔 why!!!! I guarantee you will get a hell of lot more orders if u actually included the surrounding areas too!

This restaurant is brilliant if you want to sit in and order table service on your phone that service is fast and the staff that bring it to the table are very friendly and helpful however if you order at the counter you will wait ages and receive bad service including a sh#tty attitude from the staff slamming your food into your hand aggressively and deliberately not adding sauces etc delivery is also not recommended as your food will come all smashed up with several items missing so I'd say 1/10 for takeaway or delivery and a 10/10 for the fantastic table service

the FAT female security guard please stop trying to beg attention from your 4’9 male colleague. it’s okay to be a fat tall women. it was 1am & the sign said “takeaway only” - “no eating in doors after 11pm” i received my order where in which i did not open at all and waited with my friend who ordered half an order for me where in which i informed the security guard that i was waiting for my order with my friend, during this time he decided to bring along this women the size of jupiter to THREATEN me and say that if i did not leave they would make me. extremely aggressive from the security guards would not suggest being there because u will be scared of the fat female security guard who would squash you with their belly.

Found a rat in my burger, in all fairness it was pretty nice.

Restaurant is hard to find in the town after 22:00. food quality is common, perhaps below average. But service is good.

Didn’t even fill up all the way and I ordered a large drink. I remember when I was there, I had to tell them to fill it up all the way…

Awful place. Went at about 11pm to get food, which we bought. I also needed the toilet, obviously the toilets are closed at night. I politely asked to use mcdonalds toilets, as I had bought food. I had tried to use the public toilets but they were full of sharps bin content (see attached photo of the toilets mcdonalds suggested I use) and someone was also doing drugs in the other cubicle. There's no other toilets open at night and I have a 30minute drive home. The manager was just rude and patronising from the outset. Just because its later at night doesn't mean you have to treat your customers poorly or without empathy. Mcdonalds are happy to make money out of people at night, but not even show the slightest amount of customer service. I get that dealing with customers can be difficult but I wasn't rude, and I wasn't drunk, and was stressed about my 30minute drive home with no toilet. I was happy to use the public toilets but they really weren't safe. I have paid money to eat Mcdonalds food and drink, it's after 11pm (when it is the law that places serving food and drink provide toilet facilities). And actually it's basic human decency (and hygeine) Please just show a tiny bit of politeness or empathy in the future to your customers. The actual mcdonalds staff were very polite and friendly, but the manager was rude and abrasive

I’ve been informed by an inside source regarding some well kept secrets by this McDonald’s. Firstly this McDonald’s has been subject to a rat infestation which I quote “ran across the food counter” possibly leaving its dna in the burgers, secondly the secret Big Mac sauce is not secret at all, it contains various radioactive elements which make it slightly spicy, but nothing major. Thirdly it is a gathering spot for ‘stinky John’ who incites racial hatred.

Very busy, but. Clean. I just used the loo, which was surprisingly tidy. Lots of staff about, seemed very organised.

If you want "service with a grunt" and burnt food then this is the place to go... seriously poor service from staff that don't appear to be bothered about anyone ( THATS IF THEY CAN HEAR YOU OVER THE LOUD MUSIC THAT THEY SEEM TO PLAY FOR THEMSELVES ) Had the unfortunate experience of receiving a burnt breakfast, only to be told "they come how they come" and then the replacement was also burnt ! So we go in McDonald's in Canterbury. So I ordered a big Mac meal and a cheese burger. Well the cheese burger was flat and half of the cheese was out of the burger which was bad enough and then your fries. Well OMG don't you know that too much salt is bad for people. There was too much salt and both me and my wife left our fries as could not eat them. So daft you won't leave the salt off and let people choose if want salt or not with a small Sachet instead of you smothering fries in it. My mouth and lips still feel strange and this was over 4 hours ago. Then seeing as I'm disabled and I need to use the toilet downstairs as I can't climb stairs I look again for the receipt and the code to use the disabled toilets and yet again you failed to include it. I mean how difficult is that? After all was your choice to put a code on the door so make sure you give the code to customers. If of course I ever return which is highly unlikely if I'm honest

Not allowed to sit indoors after 11pm!!!... Stupid idea. Ordered food and not allowed to sit down in the warm so had to wait outside for 90 mins for my National Express bus.

Food cold Machines to get your food will not work properly Thugs trying to bully other customers and insulting staff Hiding the brooms and letterboxes so staff have to waste time.e looking for there thi gs to keep place tide I at to confront one group of youths who wanted to pick a fight with me but back down when stood up to them Lift jumps down a little and makes scraping noise when being lowered when you come down from up stairs

Always some little oik spoils every visit trying to be clever. Not the staffs fault, but it is definitely off putting when you just want to rest and refuel

It was a terrible experience all around as a person who works in hospitality this was as bottom of the barrel as it gets. Normally the till roll within the Kiosks should be topped up at all times. However due to the laziness on the staffs part to do this most of time you can not get a physical receipt nor is a email receipt provide so receiving a refund is unlikely, or any issues with your order in regards to malpractice on their part. On top of that The staff are uncooperative and lack the customer service skills to come to a compromise with the consumer. You should avoided this place at all costs there are plenty of competitors in the area which are provide a better service.

Very very busy! Touch screen ordering... Not a good place to eat roundabout school times. 🙄
