Service slow. Staff were not really able to understand English, seemed to be eastern European, not Chinese. The food was unpleasant, rice overcooked, chicken tasteless and barely warm. This was not remotely like Chinese food. Overall, poor service, unpleasant food. I assume this is a franchise, do Chopstix need to address this.

I really wanted to put this review on the McDonald’s system but after 5 attempts i still couldn’t complete. Friday 9th August I called in on my way to Doncaster. I tried to order from the self service but it wouldn’t allow me to pay. I went to the desk and one of the restaurant floor staff served me. Her name is Di. The same thing happened when she submitted the order on the till. She rebooted the system to no avail. She brought the duty manager and he had same issues. She the brought the restaurant manager and he transferred to another till. Di remembered my order for the manager and reminded him i now only had a couple of minutes for breakfast. I thought Di went above and beyond. She came to check if my meal was alright and asked if i needed anything else. She is amazing and a credit to the restaurant. I hope someone from the store replies. Also the McDonald’s site puts people off praise reports - so many questions before you can say what you want to. Thank you Di x

Ordered takeaway and we were missing a burger (a Big Mac as well which is more on the expensive side). EVERY TIME we ordered some sort of takeout at this restaurant something is missing. Where is the organisation? Most annoying thing is that when we called the restaurant and contacted the virtual assistant on the app they said we have to contact Uber to get this resolved. This was not Uber's fault! The delivery driver was great - right on time and polite. The bag was closed and locked with the cardboard so the driver couldn't have lost anything. This was the restaurants fault for not putting it in so I do not understand why Uber and the delivery driver is being blamed for a mistake that's not theirs.

Spent 26 quid in the drive through on food and it was cold, tasteless with missing items. The fries were unsalted and stone cold and stale! The quarter pounder meal was basically a cheese burger. What a waste of money!

Called to explain i had a missing item, was dealt with buy a rude member of staff who put the phone down on me just because i asked her name, the most unhelpful customer service member i have ever dealt with!

How difficult can it be to serve milkshakes.. Again i cue in the drive through only to be told not available today.. I’m on the understanding that the 2 in hinckley have the same owners, so i suppose thats why both are so badly run.

Mixed up order, it was almost as if I'd been given someone else's order. The server was confused and poorly trained so I asked for the shift supervisor. The shift supervisor was rude and arrogant and did not support the server but tried to make out that somehow I was in the wrong. Never had an experience like this before at McD's. The supervisory staff need training in customer relations Thoroughly horrible experience.
