The best restaurants serving Fast food food in East Midlands

Nothing special just your usual McDonald's. staff was nice, the burger wasn't as good as burger king though, the milkshake is alright.

You pay for the food so expect your food to look edible. I got 2 cheese burgers that came back to front, onion's were under the burger and the burgers were coldish, took two bites then they were cold, they were wrapped like a little boys 1st attempt at wrapping a Christmas present for his mummy. Very poor quality burger, I had 3 cheese burgers the other day and 2 of them were nicely well made and were hot, the 3rd one was full of salt I still ate it because i was starved. The chips came warmish and tasted like cardboard. I know what you are all probably thinking and yes I probably do eat McDonald's to much. Very poor food. Look at the rest of your reviews. You all need to go back to school and learn about food and why it tastes better hot and not cold. Do your staff collect stars on their badges? Has everyone got a half star. If I was the boss there I would quit. Such a rubbish experience and they even have security on the door at night. What an embarrassment of restaurant. One more thing. You have only just had a refurbishment. You need to refurbish your training.

I had called 6 times after I went to see if my missing item was there but every time I had no one pick up the call. It’s ridiculous how I have to call more than 2 times in order to get a response but here they don’t even bother picking up the phone

Came in for some fish and chips was served by Kez whose customer service was the best we had been given since visiting Skegness. Served frequently by a younger gentleman called Callum again excellent service.

This was their third and final chance, and they blew it. I used to be a regular customer at this establishment, but drifted away over time. On the previous two occasions I had food from here (both at tea time) I woke up the next day with incredibly loose poo. Since these instances occurred over a year ago at this point, I decided to give them one more chance. I took a can of Pepsi from the fridge, approached the man on the counter and very clearly asked for a Codnor Fish Special to go with the can. The bloke on the till entered this (I know because it came up on the till itself), but when I handed him the cash, he gave me the tenner back and walked away with no explanation. From other reviews, it's clear this type of rude, shoddy service is not uncommon. Avoid this hole like the plauge, especially as their are two, far superior chippies within walking distance of the place.

I really wanted to put this review on the McDonald’s system but after 5 attempts i still couldn’t complete. Friday 9th August I called in on my way to Doncaster. I tried to order from the self service but it wouldn’t allow me to pay. I went to the desk and one of the restaurant floor staff served me. Her name is Di. The same thing happened when she submitted the order on the till. She rebooted the system to no avail. She brought the duty manager and he had same issues. She the brought the restaurant manager and he transferred to another till. Di remembered my order for the manager and reminded him i now only had a couple of minutes for breakfast. I thought Di went above and beyond. She came to check if my meal was alright and asked if i needed anything else. She is amazing and a credit to the restaurant. I hope someone from the store replies. Also the McDonald’s site puts people off praise reports - so many questions before you can say what you want to. Thank you Di x

Made my usual visit through drive through paid and moved on to collect meal wasn't available told to wait in car park waited 20minutes no meal went in to ask where is meal no apology told to wait after a further 10 minutes got my meal no apology or conversation just a negative look felt really uncomfortable probably senior citizens are not welcome hope not true like the food.

I had not visited McDonalds in a few years. It was what I remembered. I continue to love the McDonalds apple pie. Yum.

So today I made a mistake in fetching a breakfast for my very very poorly partner who has cancer and a sarcastic member of your team took the order. She was so busy saying is that it, is that it over and over - thinking it was funny that she totally messed up the order. Her colleague at the collection window thought she was hilarious. Cold, disgusting food, served by people who can’t be bothered. Management need to step up and sort out staff. Useless would not return.
