McDonald's in Bolsover

I really wanted to put this review on the McDonald’s system but after 5 attempts i still couldn’t complete. Friday 9th August I called in on my way to Doncaster. I tried to order from the self service but it wouldn’t allow me to pay. I went to the desk and one of the restaurant floor staff served me. Her name is Di. The same thing happened when she submitted the order on the till. She rebooted the system to no avail. She brought the duty manager and he had same issues. She the brought the restaurant manager and he transferred to another till. Di remembered my order for the manager and reminded him i now only had a couple of minutes for breakfast. I thought Di went above and beyond. She came to check if my meal was alright and asked if i needed anything else. She is amazing and a credit to the restaurant. I hope someone from the store replies. Also the McDonald’s site puts people off praise reports - so many questions before you can say what you want to. Thank you Di x

No sauces as ordered spoilt our meal and no real apology or solution offered. Guy on the phone was obviously reading from a script

Every single time we order from this Mcdonalds they miss something off the list or get something wrong. Over the years I've had missing syrup for pancakes, missing deserts, missing drinks, missing burgers and on more than one occasion even a full meal missing.

I ordered a caramel frap and they put 2 massive ice cubes in it even, though the drink was iced, no need for ice cubes. By far the worst experience.

For the third time they got my order incorrect. I asked for no cheese and the receipt confirmed this yet there was a slice of cheese stuck to each side of the burger. It went straight in the bin. I was left with just fries but they were cold and so followed the burger. What a waste of time and money! I should have checked before I left but yet again was left sitting in the car park for so long I was eager to get home. Several times now I have driven past this McDonalds to go to the one in Worksop as it is so much more efficient. This is the last time I will visit here.

If i could give less than 1 star i would. The customers service was atrocious! i tried to order a breakfast but they said there was ‘non left’ yet the car BEHIND US ordered a breakfast!!!!! i’ve never been so angry in my life i’m hurt and upset :( i deserve a free life time pass for the mcdonald’s!

Arrived for my morning coffee as usual but this time for an important meeting and was expecting to see bins over flowing and rubbish everywhere and dirty tables. However a new front of house lady with the name badge of Jules were whizzing around cleaning like a fairy god mother.I was going to offer her a job at my accounts company cleaning however she looked happy enough when she was wiping up tomato sauce off the table. A smile says it all and your the only person smiling in their Jules deserves a pay rise.

went for breakfast this morning customised our order using the computerised order screens. one sausage and egg mcmuffin minus the cheese plus an egg and bacon. one sausage and egg mcmuffin plus bacon. they put the extra egg in the one with cheese. Third person was on a carb free day so ordered a sausage and egg bagel minus the bagel the got just the sausage and the bacon they forgot the egg and cheese. They have a full list of ingredients and a list of what to add or subtract, it can't be that difficult

My burger seem to be squashed and too much salad and sauce. The chips were the only thing that tasted good, since it is a chain store it should all be the same but it is not

There was a time when you could guarantee that your order would be wrong - chips missing, wrong drink etc etc. Now it seems to have improved. Service is usually good although you can guarantee when you’re in a rush at the drive through, the order person is having a snooze and you have to wait for what seems like hours (seconds really!!) when you’ve got all the time in the world and want to peruse the menu they’re in you like a rash!!Overall it’s a fast food restaurant so you’re not expecting top quality service - but it’s good. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is ...... McDonalds. Can’t say more than that really.

Called in at lunch time over the weekend.Rubbish was strewn around the outside area and the entrance.There were plenty of empty tables but they were absolutely filthy.I had to ask at the counter several times for someone to come to clean a table before we could sit down.It took ages for three simple burger and chips and drinks.The manager needs to get a grip and get it sorted.

Wouldn’t usually put McDonald’s at the top of my review list but recently called in and placed a small order at the counter. Was served by a young woman who’s attitude was frankly disgusting. I don’t think she said thank you once to me. She appeared to be wearing a supervisor/manager’s uniform. Regardless of her position, her manners were terrible. Usually a nice McDonald’s to use but not when you have to deal with staff like that.

We have eaten here numerous times!!! Eating in, Take away & drive through! Staff all ways friendly restaurant & toilets clean. Food is your standard Mc D Fair. All as you would expect.

Called in for a quick meal. The restaurant was clean and tidy - trays left on tables were quickly cleared. The food was excellently priced and very tasty. The service was fast. There is parking outside of the establishment.

Called in today for a quick bite at lunch time.The place looked a mess.Dirty filthy tables,dirty floors with spilled drinks all over.Food and packaging all over tables.I felt sorry for the man who was trying so hard to clear it all up.As fast as he cleaned things away customers just trashed it.Gangs of noisy foul mouthed kids were hogging tables throwing food at each other.Wont be going again.

As a dotting granddad and part time taxi driver it is my duty to take Sum for a Mcdonalds every Wednesday after school. We used to sit inside and have probably tried everything on the menu, chicken legend being my favourite. Now time is a bit more precious we use the drive through for convenience, still good value for money, the only problem is trying to turn right onto Chesterfield road sometimes, can be a nightmare, ought to have been a roundabout when constructed.

All the staff no what their doing and food is quick can’t complain. The food was good and the service was quick. Definitely go here instead of the KFC next door.

I take my son fishing about at Clown about 5 minutes away from this lovely McDonald's. I always drive here mainly to use the wonderful clean toilets but I also pick us both up a meal. The staff are quick efficient and friendly, The food is always great.

Iz and were heading south to spend a few days with the folks and grabbed a Cheeseburger and Fries apiece for the road.

Slow service had to sit down and wait as there were no chips ready. No touch screen order boards and this meant standing in a que.

J30 M1 McDonalds is always clean and has a friendly happy staff. Certain times it can be busy with kids but that's life at such a place.

Stopped here for breakfast after staying at the Ibis hotel. Great variety of food at a much more reasonable price when compared to the hotel breakfast.

food was as you would expect. Good quality and fresh. Quick and friendly service as I expect from Northern England. I'd happily use it again

Great macdonalds. Always kept clean inside and out.Food always nice . I like the chicken mayo at 99p. I would highly recommend it.

I love a good McDonald's so this one is great. Good children area for kids and regular offers are displayed.

We go for a McDonald's breakfast occasionally as a treat for the kids. We always go to this one despite it not being the closest as there is always a member of staff there who brings us activity packs and even balloons on birthdays for the kids. Great service and the kids love it

Lots of customers in McDonald's when we visited but the staff handled this very well. Server was friendly and quick with our order. Everything we ordered was provided and we were in and out of McDonald's within minutes. Only real problem that occurred was getting in and out of the car park as there are cars parked everywhere.
