They said their meat was halal so we ended up going. Food was really good only critique is it didn't come sizzling hot. Cutlery,plates and glasses were really clean and our waitress, I think her name was Jessica, with brown blonde hair and a nose piercing, was really good. She showed great customer service. In terms of atmosphere sometimes music would play that was inappropriate and awkward to listen to if your with family. Also the fact that this is halal could have been made obvious or advertised abit more. Overall I would definitely come back again to Istanbul. Thank You

My wife and I had an eat-in meal here last weekend and we were blown away with how good the food was. The meat and rice was cooked amazingly well, with the meat full of flavour and melting in your mouth. The service was great and the price is very reasonable. We will definitely be heading here again the next time we are in the area.

Our first visit here and loved it. We had a mixed chicken sharing platter with meze and bread. Lots of flavour. Service was friendly and quick.

The food here is great. All cooked on open bbq right in front of your eyes in the restaurant. I've had loads of takeaway from here before but decided to sit in this time. It's a small restaurant, maybe 20 seats , but has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Good prices too. Great little spot for family and friends groups of up 12 I'd suggest. Can only pay my cash though.

Istanbul BBQ came highly recommended so I thought I'd give it a go and wow you didn't disappoint. Food cooked to perfection and very well presented. Didn't eat in and was an early takeaway order so cannot comment on the atmosphere but it looks like a nice warm welcoming place and the staff are lovely, friendly and polite. You've a new regular now so I'll see you next week for another meal, 5*+ :o)

Food wasn't very hot on delivery, they had forgotten my hummus then said they was bringing it and never turned up.

Visited the first time tonight for my birthday, it had been recommended by a few friends. It didn't disappoint, the food was very good as was the service. Very friendly, polite staff. Visited this restaurant for a birthday meal and the food was delicious and served with a smile. Really fresh, large portion sizes and grilled meats to perfection. We will be back.

I thought the food was very good and the waitress was very professional, however, what spoilt our experience was not long after we were seated, we felt rushed throughout our food. There was 30 seconds between finishing our starters and being brought our mains. Which, to be honest, spoilt the experience of the restaurant. 😫

Wow, that was the nicest takeaway we’ve ever had! Picked the yogurtlu kebab and it was absolutely amazing. The salad and everything was spot on 👍 Would definitely recommend.

Needing to break a long drive, we stopped here and had a surprisingly good evening meal. The restaurant itself is simple, but clean and someone has put a great deal of care into the decorations. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and brought us a big jug of iced water. We ordered a selection of starters with warm bread and kebab mains - all of it came quickly, in large portions, and was delicious. There were very few people - despite its modest kerbside appearance, this restaurant deserves to be busier.

Noticed this place a few times after driving past during the day. So I decided to take the family as a surprise. Lovely clean restaurant and surroundings. We decided to have the mixed platter for 4. Wow what an absolute meat fest. Really tasty and and with the cold meze starters a delicious Turkish meal experience. We’ll definitely be going again.

Overpriced. Had a mixed kebab for £19.50 at 3pm. A can of Efes beer for £4. £23.50 for a smallish plate of food and a drink is way overpriced. The lamb was also tough. Definitely overpriced for the area. I don’t think they’ll last long unless they reduce their prices. This was a £12 plate of food at best. Feel bad I can’t give a better review.

While having a weekend away in Notts/Derby, we decided to try the local Turkish cuisine. It was 7.30pm on a Saturday evening but the restaurant was quiet. This was probably due to the previous week being a bank holiday & on this particular evening everybody stayed in to watch the Eurovision Song Contest from Liverpool. Anyway, we had a lovely meal, the staff were attentive & the manager spent 15 minutes with us telling us about his upbringing in the Turkish mountains. We were offered a complimentary Raki at the end of the meal. Very well cooked meat dishes served with rice & salad.

Terrible, we were posted a recent menu through our door, we ordered from it menu total £30, actual price £43, apparently due to rising food costs. Despite having brilliant service before this and stunning food, but sorry you have lost a customer. My wife cancelled the order but the money was still taken from her account. Robbing thieves, beware.

10/10 food and service! We've sat in the restaurant a few times but mainly order for delivery. The food is always amazing, chicken beyti is my personal favourite! Feels like a healthier option to a takeaway and always arrives hot and just as tasty in the restaurant.

I was only having takeaway, so can't say much about atmosphere bu the food is great. I've heard plenty negative opinions about the place but just can't agree on that. It is good food, maybe slightly overpriced as wrap for example is very small so I need two and I'm not a big lad. One wrap £8 so but it is a quality 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just collected an order asked for 3 chicken kebabs got home the order was completely wrong rang and told them and was told nothing they could do . Very poor won’t ever use again

Questioned why there was an 80p charge for ordering online and I was told I dunno ! Asked to speak to someone who does know and in the background someone said it's not us ? I asked if I order over the phone would I have this charge and I was told NO ! Then they sent a link to pay which included the charge. It's not about 80p it's the principal and the fact the person on the phone was so downright rude treating me like I was some sort of idiot for asking. Nice to be in a position where your food is nice so you can treat people like lower species.

Order 50 worth of food waited 2hrs for it to come my partner went down to see where it was sed was on its way. He got back before the food. Then it came all wrong kitty a £20 meal. Rang them back and add the cheek to say ear it and get discount next time. After paying £50 bar. And thing is I would of order if them all time as food is nice. What a Shane but never Agen.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn for 1 night & as we both love Turkish food we booked a table. We ordered the the platter for 2 & at £27 we didn't expect much but we were both blown away at how good it was. We are used to paying £40+ for similar dishes at other Turkish restaurants around Bristol & South Wales & this place delivers on taste and quality with any of them. The locals around the area are so lucky to have an establishment like this close by, unfortunately we live 140 miles away but if we are ever within 20 miles we will definitely be back. Absolutely amazing value for money.

a group of 6 went here from work and we had a great time. The restaurant is small, more like a cafe. The food was fabulous. He modified the set meals to suitor groupof six. Lots of tasty extras. Loved the bread and dips. I highly recommend this place. We took our own wine. Great value, fun evening. attentive friendly staff. nothing too much trouble.

Awful unhelpful customer service/phone operator or receptionist… the owner of this restaurant should try to check how this people answered phone!order for delivery and they are so unhelpful at all!!

First visit to this fantastic restaurant this evening. We had the meal platter for 2, there was more than enough and it was absolutely delicious! The service was spot on also, and the staff were extremely friendly and polite, especially the young girl that served us. Brilliant establishment and great value for money, will definitely visit again.

Enjoyed a very tasty chicken wrap. On my way home I spotted this place and as it had parking outside It seemed convenient. Was met with pleasant staff that smiled and had good Manners. I chose a chicken shish wrap, 5 minutes later it was ready and I went home to eat it (worth noting it does have a restaurant area). The chicken had been bbq'd and was delicious and succulent and it came with chips (not fried). The only quabble I had was that the chips was served in a tray that melted! But this did not change the taste. Summary.... Worth a visit

Food was tasty and well priced but the restaurant was freezing with the door constantly open or incredibly smoky with it shut. My eyes stung and my hair and clothes stank by the time we finished. If they could sort out the ventilation I’d definitely go back.

Amazing place....lady on the phone got us a table ready straight away when we phoned asking if theres any tables. We was greeted by all workers. Absolutely delicious food. So filling and full of flavours. Portions are good.

Our greatest friends said how good it was so we made the trip up from Cambridge - wow we wasnt disappointed- the service was fab - the food lovely and fresh and so well cooked by the excellent staff - All the tastes took us straight back to Turkey and got to say the best turkish food ive ever had outside of Turkey.

If before I found this as "Really good food, friendly staff 100% recommended" in the last few months things got changed, I'm assuming the ownership was changed as I have seen different people cooking and running the business, first things first they increase prices with 10 to 30% so significant and tbh I received a downsize portions for ie. the potatoes salad, humus smaller I got a portion of ribs that there is more bones than meat also for ribs and Chicken youghourtlu you get at least 4 pcs of naan bread, I got only 2, definitely we will looking for something else next time. :(

What a lovely night out. The staff at the Istanbul BBQ were great. We were a party of four, had a sharing starter and a main course each. Super delicious and Super value for money and super tasty. You can bring your own booze if you wish or buy some at the restaurant. Thanks everyone for a lovely night out.

I love the food especially chicken yoghurt, I've been eating here for a year and never been disappointed buuuuttt I have a problem with those girls who sell on the bar, they have long hair and is not tied up, sometimes when I see those girls with that hair I just pass to eat in other days, is disgusting to serve people with that long hair! I can't say anything about the food... the food is extremely delicious

Consistently good. The quality of the food and service is always excellent. We use regularly and will continue to do so. I'd recommend the set meal for 2 or 4. You get to try a mixture of the goodies they offer then :)
