McDonalds in Nottingham

I had not visited McDonalds in a few years. It was what I remembered. I continue to love the McDonalds apple pie. Yum.

We went into exchange walk McDonalds Saturday night and the place looked a bit unclean, with paper roll and liquid on the floor, just a Saturday night? After placing an order on the screen as no staff were on the counter we stood and waited, and waited. As we stood for quite a while we Began to notice just how filthy the place is, then noticed staff sliding on the wet floor in the kitchen, one guy scratching at his greasy hair then handling a bun and slapping a burger on top. We saw too much in that 15 minutes to work out why it's closing and get a refund. I have never seen any takeaway so filthy, let alone a global brand. Hang your heads in shame McDonalds this place is disgusting.

Felt very cramped at tables by the ordering machines. Service was polite, ordering easy, and food cheap and cheerful. Decent cheap breakfast.

visited here today Tuesday 14th March 2023 at midday with wife daughter and 9month old grandson. Daughter uses the app a lot but today wasnt allowing her to order the drinks so to the instore machines. Not much better here as it would not allow her to order the fries. we queued for about 15 mins before someone came to serve us. Food wasnt too long a wait and was ok but drinks not very hot. Was busy, staff not very customer focussed at all and seemed that serving food was the only part of the job. a smile .thankyou etc goes a long way

A fine establishment for for a king 👑. Me and my friends had a scrumptious meal the other night and the prices were very reasonable.

Very disappointed call here for a quick breakfast before a meeting at the bank was kept waiting for 15mins for food then had to rush eating it to get to meeting Food was ok but drinks were fortunately not really hot so that we could drink quick Definitely not a fast food restaurant

most times i have been very good, today not . i had two cheeseburgers they were just warm.i did not complain only because they were very busy. very slow service.

I Had a bad experience here the service i recieved wasn't the best it was rather rude but that could be due to how busy it was but the food was atleast warm.

Called In for a takeaway and train was due so couldn’t return .. we were kept waiting longer than other later ticket numbers so expected it to be fresh and nice … The fries were dry and cold and no bacon on the big tasty despite paying for it and it was flat as a pancake and not worth the price nor did it match up to the advert photo in any way although that’s to be expected.. my friend tried the spicy nuggets She liked the flavour but also cold and dry .. won’t be returning

Christin served me,lovely young lady,polite and big smile. big mac and chips very good.top marks for young lady and meal.only a 4 for the time it took my meal to come.they were not vesy busy but it took over 10 minutes.

Pub and bar hopping around this part of town my twin brother Stephen and I decided it prudent to get a meal into us as we planned to visit some really good pubs, a good option was this McDonald's along Exchange Walk. A neat and tidy,light and airy restaurant we ordered a double cheeseburger, fries and cola, service was quick and I must say we both really enjoyed our burger meals in here,it was just what we needed, a tasty, unpretentious burger meal to soak up the beer in the pubs we had picked out to visit,couldn't fault anything about our visit. Easy to locate along Exchange Walk/ St Peter's Gate, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and in need of a sneaky burger meal 🍔 🍟 .

McDonald's on Exchange Walk on St Peter's Gate is a decent McDonald's fast food restaurant that offers a quick and tasty food menu. With a typical McDonald's interior and fantastic seating option's throughout the restaurant this is an ideal place to order a quick tasty meal with a non-alcoholic beverage. This is our first visit to this McDonald's and I make a point of going to at least one McDonald's when ever I travel to a city I haven't been before be it in the UK or Mainland Europe. When here we had a Bigmac with fries and also a Coca Cola Light which was well cooked and well served and priced. I don't often visit McDonald's it's only when I visit a new town or city but they are very handy if you are looking for a quick well priced meal and I can honestly say this one met all our expectations as it was very clean and the staff where superb.Very easy to find from Old Market Square tram stop its only a few minute's walk.(This is my first review of McDonald's in Exchange Walk in St Peter's Gate). i went to notts today,good to get out.burger one of the best ever. the chips to much salt. at least the birds liked them.they were not very busy, so did not wait lon g. much, i enjoyed it .

Visited this McD's this morning for a quick sausage McMuffin. You're not supposed to call McD's a fast-food restaurant - the correct term to use is "quick service restaurant". There was no quick service on the menu this morning for sure. Ordered via the touchscreen kiosk and after 10mins a simple order of a sausage McMuffin had not appeared. Requested a refund, which I got, and left to go to Greggs instead - only £2.10 there for a bacon roll and a drink... the non-existent sausage McMuffin was £2.39 with no drink. The franchisee behind this restaurant - Jerry Nicholls / Blades Restaurants - own/run a number of McD's in and around Nottingham. I did complete the "Food for thoughts" survey with the code off the receipt and McD's Head Office just replied with a "sorry we did not get it right this time" email - so a waste of time filling in the survey. Clearly they make more than enough money out of the franchise fees this business pays they are not too bothered what the quality of service / food served is like. I can only assume this McD's is having an informal competition with the Burger King at the other end of Exchange Walk as to who can provide the worst service with a skeleton number of staff on duty. I certainly won't be back to this McD's in a hurry - or others that I know are under this franchisee's umbrella.

we went saturday,my friends meals were ok ,mine cold.i did not say anything they were so busy.today i went on my own, i spoke to lady in charge about saturday.the lady sat me down, and fetched me a big mac and chips, nice and warm.thankyou very much, i enjoyed it .

Called in for coffees etc whilst shopping. Service was fast and friendly, tables cleared constantly and floors swept. Good value and worth a visit,

Mcdonalds era mi comida favorita de comida rápida, así que ordené en la pantalla digital y esperé mi comida. El área que espera la comida es pequeña y poco conveniente, ya que las personas deben pasar para subir las escaleras. . Cierto personal detrás del mostrador fue grosero al gritarles a las personas que se movieran hacia un lado si esperaban la comida, pero fue una lucha, ya que había mucha gente esperando comida y no bloqueando el paso para subir las escaleras. Clean environment. Queues moved along quickly. Friendly staff great cheeseburgers. I always visit when in the area. The best McDonald's in Nottingham City centre.

Dirty floor, tables messy, food not cleared away - McDonald's surely have a standard policy for cleaning up - the franchise not following this here clearly.We ate here at 3 in the afternoon so no excuses for staff being too busy as there was only 6 people in hereWon't be back Ronald

Stopped off here for breakfast before spending a morning shopping in Nottingham. Quiet when we visited and ordered using the order boards but here you still have to collect the order at the collection point. The upstairs seating area was closed when we visited but there were a few tables on the ground floor although cold draft every time the single sliding door opens.Food was fine and expected and the coffee very good. Butter for the bagel too although given a spread to start with but staff member happy to exchange for butter.

Long day of drinking quick pit-stop for some fast food, slow service, not a tidy place and generally could do some much better, toilets were need though.

Simply awful,told by staff member couldn't sit down as she was holding the table,long queue as only one till on.Went to Burger King a short walk away. Much better.

I visited exchange walk Nottingham McDonald’s today with family, unfortunately my little boy was sick while ther, the lady keeping things clean was excellent, I wanted to leave a positive review for her but didn’t catch her name, she was there straight away to clean the sick up and was very helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble for her, so Thankyou for helping out like you did and still smiling and being nice.

Conveniently situated between Broadmarsh centre and Victoria Centre, near to Marks and Spencers. Good for a quick drink instead of queuing in other coffee shops. Clean premises and pleasant staff.

Went here for a quick lunch as we were hungry. The food came quickly and the place was clean although it was busy.

Smack en el centro de la ciudad, pero eso trae algunos problemas. Las últimas dos veces hemos sido grandes grupos de personas y comportamientos antisociales que lo acompañaron. No necesariamente es culpa de los restaurantes, pero realmente no quiero comer en un lugar con gente que comienza. Agregue a esa comida tibia y mesas sucias así que no es un lugar que recomendaría. Estado en mucho mejor Maccy D's.

Visité McDonald's con mi hija y mi nieta de 2 semanas las mesas estaban llenas de basura, las papas fritas estaban frías (si solo eso fue lo peor) 2 hombres entraron al baño para discapacitados, que es también el bebé que cambia a una joven que comenzó cuando entraron allí ya que eran conocidos por tomar drogas, ya que escuchamos a 2 miembros del personal expresando su preocupación de que el gerente (Leanne) no dijera nada que pudieran hacer. Decir que estaba conmocionado y disgustado es una subestimación al permitir que las personas tomen drogas en un restaurante familiar donde cambiamos a nuestros bebés, esto fue a la mitad del día. Es seguro decir que mi familia no regresará a McDonald's.

We visited here whilst visiting the Christmas market and it wasn't an enjoyable experience.

Slow, cold fries, burgers look bad, floors are not clean. Nothing special. If you are looking for a Big Mac, you will find it. Don't expect anything different.

Girl on the till looked she was already in bed instead of work, food was warm, no pickles on the burger? Only given 2 sauces with our nuggets never coming again.

Slow service but it was busy people standing around next to the door had to push your way out because people waiting for there order or using those touch screen boards

Aceptaron un vale perfectamente válido incluso aunque otros McDonald's no. El personal no podía preocuparse menos. Al menos me dieron un reembolso, pero si no quieren aceptar que la orden se debería haber me dijo cuando yo estaba pidiendo.

It was a mild and hungry night when we stepped into Exchange Street Nottingham McDonalds, looking for shelter and food. Mainly fillet o fish. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rebecca tried against all odds to get me my tap water. The staff were amazing. Classical music played in the comfortable corner where we sat. The ambience was bouncy. Strip lighting was adequate. Amé ate her cheese burger but more gherkins would be appreciated, however we understand that this is a personal choice for the individual and she enjoyed her bugger anyway. Fillet o fish was erogenous. The fries were soft and turgid and this wasn't good. Unfortunately Patz didn't have enough cheese and it wasn't centrally positioned so she stole some from Loweeeese, but she took it well and no fight broke out.Thank you, Exchange Street McDonalds.

Good quick easy food, got it whilst on the way to work. I don't personally like the breakfast's but I can't say anything bad about it because of that. Only problem is that staff sometimes give you the wrong food/not what you asked for or they miss something. But you get what you pay for.

More an observation than a review why do McDonalds tolerate droves of college students occupying tables eating food from either rival chains, supermarkets or home leaving their paying customers with nowhere to sit? I visit this particular restaurant regularly with work as the staff on all levels are outstanding I can only assume it is to avoid confrontations? Bizarre this would not deter me from the use of this establishment although I do think it would be of benefit to the company as a whole to deter this as I see it happen at various McDonalds restaurants around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire!

Reasonably priced food at any time of day. If you're in need of food after a big night out then look no further. Treated like a human by the staff and feed like a king.

Fast food it's primarily ok but lacks any atmosphere, staff are friendly but often get orders wrong food is sometimes cold they will of course change it, never able to different orders out at the same time one of us is usually finished before the other has even arrived.No big breakfast any more Mc has dropped it big mistake in my view.

Central location, 2 storey site, now has touch screen ordering which I think are a backward step, thankfully, if your persistent, you can get past the security staff that try their best to stop you speaking to a person. You're then corralled away into a waiting area-which is like the worst Bingo you'll ever see. My opinion is that this march towards automation is a bad thing.Restaurant was clean and food was corporate standard.

Just the usual McDonalds experience! Sometimes go here after a night out and its carnage but the staff cope quite well with the situation bless them. Don't expect too much - it's just McDonalds :)

My hubby wanted to go here so that he could have the taste of America tennasse burger. He had to wait about five minutes before being served and then got told he had to wait for the burgers to be cooked. Why call it fast food when you have to wait think next time I'll go to a pub even they would of been faster. No wonder I prefer the other leading burger chain. Never want to go to this snail service place again.

This place is always busy, but they still manage to serve up a good burger. Sure it is not fine dining, but it fills a hole and is consistent.

I have relatives in Nottingham and have eaten here a few times. The experience has been the usual in McDonalds, fast food, cheap prices, and OK staff. This evening (Boxing Day 2016) a yob was shouting to get himself noticed, the security initially seemed to do nothing, but in the end they eventually threw him out (can't be easy having to deal with idiots though). All previous visits have been in the daytime when the restaurant was decent enough and welcoming.

The queueing system is nonsense and needs to be addressed asap. Anyone can walk in and push in front of you, there needs to be order...even if it is a fast food restaurant! I do agree that the portion of fries was a little on the low side, but I did wonder if it was because I had a voucher for a big mac and fries for £1.99. Either way, if you give away vouchers, then provide a service that makes you want to tell people. It wasn't the most positive of places I've been to. The stairs are too busy, upstairs was cramped but it was decently cleaned. Not in a rush to go back or recommend.

had a great, good value meal here. can't grumble too much as you get what you pay for. all outlets offer up pretty much the same.

We used it twice in the same week. The first time it was ok. Portions are very small. Large fries, although in a large box were only half full. And that happened on everyone's, on both occasions. Not a lot of seating downstairs, better upstairs, but very long and steep stairs. But clean. No clear sense of where to stand for queuing. Second time was just after 6pm though. upstairs was closed, so not much seating area. We were the only family there. Seemed to be more people out of the pub or going out. No trays given out so everything was in bags. Very slow service. Burgers were sat a long time before fries were made, so were cold. Others were complaining of the same thing. Admittedly it was on a Friday night, but I have seen more customers and been served quicker in other locations. I wouldn't go there next time.
