Food cold when received Poor Customer Service

Nice delicious food, good customer service

Restaurant is nicely laid out and kept clean. Food is pretty much in line with all other McDonald's restaurants however staff seem to always get careless. Every visit I have to ask staff to redo Mcflurrys because the quantity is half what it should be and the presentation is awful, definitely NOT McDonald's standard!

Nothing mighty about this Muffin was half the size of the sausage patty the whole thing was an absolute mess.

Its a mackidees, what can I say. I only gave it 4 stars for atmosphere because its flipping noisy and you can't hear yourself think in there. There aught to be an age limit of about 25 in them, either no one below is allowed in or no one above.

I never been waiting that long for order

Milkshake was solid and wouldn't even travel through the straw, burger had one dot of ketchup, the thinnest slice of meat I've ever seen and a single pickle. Chips were the highlight. However, the establishment is surrounded by crack heads, the upstairs was quite dirty during the time of my visit and when collecting the food, it wasn't organised, everyone is just sort of everywhere.

We paid VAT to sit in with our order however we were refused seating despite there being an upstairs area. We selected the sit in option on the til and yet this was completely redundant. We paid extra just to be rudely dismissed by the staff. The bouncers were both inside and they were drinking monsters. When we asked them about seating they were rude to us. As a lifelong loyal customer, I was really disappointed by my experience!

Very friendly statt and great food

5 stars to the best maccies in the town centre ! All the staff are absolutely wonderful full of smiles. Big shout out to haych such a lovely guy he makes my day every time i come to this mcdonalds he really is a wonderful person!

Recent refurb has made it much more pleasant. Staff are much nicer these days too. Used to be a bit of a dicey branch, but effort has been put in and also has security in later in the day. Not seen any trouble here for a long time now. Nice work turning this one around.

We dont always get the right food/straws or dips but mostly the service is great

City centre McDonald's which has recently been refurbished and updated. Prompt service and reasonable food quality. Have recently revisited and food quality was good. Fries and Big Mac were warm and tasty. Served very quickly with a very short wait. Seating area upstairs. Can get busy at ordering area having to queue to use touchscreens to order so recommend using the app.

Ordered on the App from this place and for the 3rd time in as many months they have missed items. This time being the actual burger part of the meal. Avoid if you don't want missing items from your orders.

Great McDonald's. Busy during the day and at night, but expected for a busy city center with a lot to offer. The food was a good standard for a McDonald's and was the correct food for what was ordered.

GO HERE IF YOU WANT FOOD POISONING Kitchen using clear out of date ingredients as the lettuce in my burger was slimy, the cucumber slices were rotten and the sauce in my big mac was rock solid, now explain me how does that happens. Do not trust their hygiene ratting, its clearly a inside job or some money involved. Toilets were full of urine on the ground and tables were sticky and full of old left overs. Was told there was no milkshakes , while seeing a worker drinking one. Observed 3 workers for a good 2 hours, and they never went to wash their hands once, and kept touching their face, nose and scraching themselves in their rears. GO HERE IF YOU WANT FOOD POISONING

Did not receive everything I ordered again, second time it's happened, Food always cold when it arrives Won't be ordering from here again.

They may forget stuff if you are using delivery. You can get refund from JustEat if happens.

We ate inside at the restaurant today, the seating downstairs was roped off so we had no choice but to eat upstairs. We were surrounded by obnoxious teenagers shouting, swearing, spraying water at each other and on the surrounding seats, throwing food and climbing on the tables. There were small children and a couple with a young baby trying to eat nearby and their experience eating was also affected by the teenagers. Absolute chaos. A staff member was upstairs and witnessed the behaviour but didn’t stop it. More work needs to be done to stop/prevent this type of behaviour as it really does impact on others.

A bog standard McDonald's. I went during a breakfast and it was not very busy. The place is large with many places to sit. The food is the same as every McDonald's. Bear in mind you will likely be listening to screaming children.

Staffs are not wearing standard shoes in the kitchen,no hair or bread net, false nails , and most self check out is not working

I had to return to the counter four times for them to get a standard burgers ingredients right. It was still missing the mustard after all this but I gave up trying. Mistakes happen, but it shouldn't take four interactions for a simple menu item to be served. This in itself isn't so bad but the complete indifference of all the staff shows this must happen all too often and be considered business as usual. By contrast the last order I had included everything paid for in good time.

Got a 3 piece select and only 2 were in the box…if the staff can’t count to 3 there’s some major issues going on back there. Also ordered a cheeseburger with no mustard and extra onions and pickles - ended up with no mustard no pickles and no onions…I don’t think I’d ever been so sad opening up my meal at 1 am and finding half the stuff don’t exist

On the weekend, my entire family eats at this restaurant. A group of students caused a disturbance and tried to bully us while we were dining. They even threw items at us. We reported the incident to the management downstairs, but no one came to investigate. I am disappointed and will never dine here again, especially since my children were with me.

Friendly staff and got my order within 10 minutes and the fries were salted properly and hot. 10/10 recommend

This place was awful. Clearly the management is slack. The burgers came out without salad, burnt and sliding off the bun. The drinks were wrong twice. The toilets hadn't been cleaned in a couple days minimum. When asked for a Manager, the actual manager just stared at us and sent over somebody else to 'deal' with us as he couldn't be bothered. Really wouldn't recommend going here. Complete waste of money.

Always waiting for food no such thing as fast food , is slow food service and cold when received rude staff and the other time I went in after midnight I ordered 20 nuggets half was cold and other half freshly cooked I only come here sometimes because Greggs don't do 24/7 service otherwise that where I'd be going

Normally good standards but most recent visit has put me off permanently, saw an employee handling food with bare hands after having sneezed into their hands , after seeing this I couldn't eat my food

Ordered via deliveroo. Both drinks upended and pouring out of the bag when the rider gave it to me. Made a complete mess to deal with. Rider didn't want to know and fled immediately. Deliveroo doesn't want to know and nor does McDonald's. Save your time and money and either go get groceries or order from a reputable independent restaurant who cares about your custom.

Came into the mcdonald’s and already knew it was going to be bad, came upstairs and the tables had food left on them, no staff to be seen…i had to clean my own table…the staff also look miserable, bins overflowing alongside handrails looking disgusting, i might as well be sat in an airport waiting for my flight as it took over 30 minutes to get my order

You go there with kids and they don't give you a tray despite asking for it, which makes eating much more inconvenient and messy. Overall, a dirty and unpleasant place, though frequented by many. Lots of other McDonald's in the vicinity, at least 3, and I would recommend going to one of those.

Overly packed with people. Chaos. Made me pay extra for ketchup despite it being free upstairs? The toilets were disgusting. I won't return to this establishment.

Problems with their computers so staff flustered, people waiting and impatient so food being rushed out. Not the best but half term.

Walked in walked out, The order machines upstairs were out of order, so it made so you go upstairs to get s table, come back down to order, to have to go back upstairs to eat, what a palaver.

Great McDonald’s usually entered after a night out that wasn’t too enjoyable as was sober due to medication, only for a bouncer behind the till to grab and kick me out for asking for a ketchup. Seemed to be on a power trip of some sort which I mean just isn’t needed which is a shame because have to give recognition to other bouncer Musa who was professional and what you expect from door staff. Hope the others can be trained to be more like Musa because nothing but good things to say about him. Shame other had to ruin it.

Refused to give me my order as their machine didnt print and i said 3 items correct and not the fourth. I had said galaxy pie, instead of galaxy caramel pie.

Very busy on an early Saturday afternoon (not surprising to be fair) so the queue for the kiosks was going out the door. Rude staff member managing this queue. Food was ready reasonably quickly despite how busy it was.

Only came here cause I was forced by a drunk friend. Don't normally eat at these grim fast food places. Had about 3 bites of a cheese burger and the rest went in the bin. Wouldn't bother to be fair.

Takes an absolute age to get your food, s you wait around holding your ticket. Feels like you could do with a stab vest on. Good was lukewarm at best, and bread was stale. Absolute horror show of a place.

We decided to get something to eat from here there isn't any seating on the entrance level. There is some seating downstairs but this was blocked off when we visited, there is some seating upstairs which you can use the stairs or there is a small lift. The places wasn't in the best condition, it was relatively clean but was still grubby. I had the double sausage egg mcmuffin which was ok usual standard and quality however this seemed to be more greasy than other branch's have been too. There is a sign next to the counter which states that sauces are charged at 10p although there is still the free ketchup and bbq sauce dispenser (which was partially broken). Overall this place is ok, but could do with being renovated. Staff seemed ok

Supervisor really did just throw my chips from across the kitchen into my bag like I wasn't going to say anything.. fries upside down. Had to give me another portion. I dread to imagine their hygiene, no hair nets etc..how on earth are these idiots being paid £12.50 an hour?!!!!!

Visited on Monday 28th of August 23 around 3pm, the restaurant was filthy dirty all empty tables were dirty, we ordered on the app for table service, took quite awhile to come, once arrived my sons burger was missing, he went and told the lady working in the area she said go down and let them know, 3 times he went down and asked for his burger and no avail! We had all finished eating so I went down a found a young lady working downstairs and she did promptly bring him his burger but overall took ages to sort! Once we’d finished we wanted to use the toilets……..well I have seen cleaner toilets in a festival field…..to call them disgusting would of been to kind. My daughter found blood all over one toilet, one toilet was blocked with paper and goodness knows what, and the other had no toilet paper! There was some sort of fluid all over the floor and wet toilet paper all over the floor! We did not use the toilets even washing our hand we didn’t do as they would not of been clean because the state of the sinks! Spent £45.00 in the restaurant and could not use the facilities and found it over all dirty. I did tell the lady how disgusting the toilets were and she said she was aware and it was on the to do list……with blood present as a bodily fluid it should of been a high priority or at least made out of order until they could have been properly cleaned. Visited many McDonald across the uk and this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to write a review! To say I won’t be returning any time soon is an understatement! I would highly recommend you hire a cleaner or re train your current one!

The food quality was alright not the best but wasn't bad... the food took a while to come to me. Also was luke warm so it went cold reallly quick but apart from that the atmosphere was lovely kids laughter and sensible grown ups.

Nie wiedziałam, że mc wrapa w zestawie można tak zepsuć : otrzymałam białe (nie usmażone) frytki, wrapa z jakimś starym kurczakiem, którego nie można było pogryźć, wszystko zimne (tak jakby na dowóz a przecież jedliśmy na miejscu). I teraz najlepsze - okazuje się, że nawet kawę można zepsuć - dostałam kawę z serem 😄 znaczy ze zwarzonym mlekiem bleeee oddałam pani supervisor - mina bezcenna. Nie polecam miejsca!!

I am on crunches, bought something to eat, they put my staff into a paper bag and on my way home, 5 minutes after the bus stop that I had to walk, the bag cut into 2 pieces and all my staff were on the floor. The bags used, are NOT to protect the environment, they are for the company to save money and they are not fit for purpose. When a product is not able to do the job intended to do so, it is simply not fit for purpose and it is the weak that are paying the price. Which in this case, is me.

Shocking service. I ordered a decent size order for delivery through the McDonald’s app. When it was due to arrive it said the food had been delivered. It hadn’t, I called the store and explained the situation to try and get to the bottom of what went wrong. I was told by several staff after being past through that there was nothing they could do and it was upto me to to log a complaint through the McDonald’s app. Absolutely shocking service! All I wanted was my order delivered and they could clearly see that I had made that order. At this point I’m £xxx out of pocket and no one seems to truly care. Call me old fashioned but if I’ve spent money with a certain company I would like to think that they would handle my order from start to finish regardless of the order amount and type. Firstly they tried to say my order was made through Uber eats and it was my job to sort it out! Really passing the book to an external delivery company that I didn’t order through… I ordered with McDonald’s through there app! It’s time for major changes with this fast food franchise like McDonald’s.

Just stood there and literally watched the young man making my breakfast, no gloves and after handling each item on my breakfast roll he wiped his hands on his dirty jeans and proceeded to make my food, then he stopped to hug a colleague, rubbing his back and yet again proceeded to prepare my meal without gloves on....can't really rate how it tasted as it went straight in the bin down the street from the store.
