McDonald's in Derby

It's a macdonalds. The food is consistently okay. It won't knock your socks off but it's better than a lot of pub grub.

Ordered on the App when collected order 2 items missing , tried to call but no answer this is not the first time this has happened

Their workers are the laziest individuals to go. £13 of my items didn’t show up w a £20 purchase how unethical is that. I have contacted this particular shop yet when they see the number they don’t pick up.

Possibly the dirtiest McDeez I have visited ... been a couple of times recently and the floors are sticky and there are visible dirty boot prints on the floors arround the service couter Food is as good as Mc Deez gets ( so 3 stars ) Staff ... seemingly loads of them ... not sure why the service was so steady

It's a McDonalds.. quick service and bland food but you know what you are buying when you walk through the door.

Everything in the drive through seemed to work OK just a mixup with my order the staff seemed to be out of sync. Food as good as usual

I worked in hospitality for years and remain humble that it is difficult dealing with the public and working in a fast pace environment So when I type this, please know that I am genuinely tired of ordering from this branch Unfortunately, everytime something is missing from the order and it's then difficult to get through to a human and you are forced to just let it go... tonight it was the actual burger missing Lol I think staff need further checks in place, it's clear in reading other reviews that this is an issue in this branch

It was basically a toilet stop on a long journey. Didn't like the touch screen ordering, much rather deal with a human being

A busy spot on a major Derby junction of the A38. Big McDonald's. Lots of deliveries being collected. Always busy. As McDonald's go it's average, and would benefit from more care and passion for the food. Lots of staff. Busy drive through. Cleanliness hit and miss as always busy. Does a job of passing. Outdoor seating at front. 4 Instavolt fast EV car chargers.

Freezing cold. Stated ready for 40 mins before delivering. Called restaurant direct they rold me it was ready and waiting and they couldnt re do it.

The tab water in gents was faulty and I tried to let the restaurant manger know but her behaviour wasn’t friendly and she was rude towards the other staff .

Not the delivery drivers fault, he was great , but one item was cold clearly prepared before the rest and one item was missing. McDonalds poor show on attention to detail.

I ordered a double sausage and egg mc muffin meal to find no hash brown once I had drove off onto the busy dual carriage way. Come on its a simple task and there was nobody else inside the restaurant.

Ordered food, and had two banana milkshakes. When we started drinking them they tasted nasty and realised that the milk was gone off Tried to phone the McDonald’s but there was no answer…unable to return and now I fear I’m going to end up being sick

We ordered today at this branch, the order was incomplete and these people customer service and uber eats are just passing us around. Without offering any solutions and wants us to just accept that we paid for an incomplete order.

Chips where very cold and like cardboard phoned erm ask for no onions on my burger but still got onions

⚠️🆘 SAFETY WARNING - DRIVER ATTEMPTED TO GET IN MY HOME 🆘⚠️. After dropping my food at my doorstep as instructed, the delivery driver proceeded to TRY TO GET INTO MY HOME. He grabbed my front door handle and pushed it down to try to open it. Who knows what his intentions were or what could have happened to my family if my door was unlocked! This incident is recorded and saved to my CCTV system.

Courier was rude, it said he’s still coming but he texted me saying he’s already here and told me he’s only gonna be 5 mins and if I’m not here quick enough he’ll take it back to the restaurant. Nice.

I’ve used this McDonald’s regularly for over 12 years and they can’t do anything right and refuse to vet the staff to be smart enough to be able to read. They don’t put sauces in the bag, even if you have added more to your order and paid extra. If you order through a delivery partner like Uber Eats then this branch of McDonald’s doesn’t double lid the drinks correctly so they will spill everywhere. This could easily be avoided by providing cans or bottles like KFC and Burger King. And often your order will be wrong like giving you 6 nuggets instead of 9. It’s like the staff lack the basic understanding of reading a receipt and looking at what is in the bag, which is primary school level of education for a child. They fail basic food service and customer service on every level. I have also seen staff inside the restaurant purposefully ignoring the delivery driver staff and not calling out orders even though the order is already completed and sat going cold on the counter.

Every time I go here it's always really busy. This must be a flagship store for McDonalds. Staff are working frantically hard to keep up with demand. Staff as attentive as they can be. Great store

We usually dine in or eat in our car because we like our food to be hot. We arrived, and it was extremely busy at the drive-through and in the restaurant. After about ten minutes, wait, our order disappeared off the screen so we went to collect it. We had a further ten minutes wait for our order to be put together. The young man doing this was surrounded by food and drinks. Our food was warm and the burgers had items missing. Whilst waiting I observed that the duty manager and the supervisor were engrossed in the production process so therefore could not see what was going wrong. E.g the order assembler. At times like this I wonder if people using old fashioned methods like ordering and eating in restaurant are what you want.

Ordered 2 Wrap off the day meals and a terrys orange pie through drive through and ate in car in car park , food was just warm chips cold ! The wrap should have had cesar sauce apart from a blob at the bottom they was none , terrible food !!!

I stopped by for some quick grub and was told to park, as the food was ready, which is very common at McDonald's. The food came out quickly to the car, and after eating, I decided to use the toilet. I thought the door was open because the light was green, but it was locked, and someone was inside. I waited to use the toilet, and when I finally got into the cubicle, I encountered the worst makeshift door lock I've ever seen. I've attached a photo because, to be honest, it didn’t feel safe to use the toilet with that lock, let alone allow a child to use it.
